Absolutely!

They're both always holding hands. Like constantly. It's all they do, it's incredibly soft and adorable.

El thought for a solid day that Max was the person Will liked (platonic madwise!!!) which Will immediately corrected that notion with immense panic. (El didn't get why he kept insisting that Max would never like him, Will just knew about their crushes and didn't want any dumb misunderstandings to get in the way)

El gives cheek kisses, Max gives hand and wrist kisses

Related to the first one but they are just always touching. it's a grounding agent for them, it helps them from panicking and reminds them that both of them are alive and okay.

After Max wakes up, El does not leave her side for weeks. She knows Max is quite strong and capable, but staying next to her all this time gives her a sense of control since she's convinced she was too weak to save Max last time, this time she won't be weak.

Max immediately calls that dumb and tells her she's the strongest person she knows, both by physical and emotional strength.

Moonflower Chapter 11

When Mike bursts through the doors of the Hideout Max, as well as a significant amount of the crowd snap their heads up at him, perplexed. He scrunches his nose at the liquid heat and sweat and stale beer poured over the floors and darts towards the bar where Max is already rushing around the corner. There’s a ‘closed’ sign on the bathroom door and he meets Max in front of it in a rush. She takes hold of his forearms and gazes up at him with concern, her neck craning sharply at his height.

“I can’t get him up,” she breathes in a rush.

“How long has he been in there?” Mike asks, pulling away from her and rushing into the bathroom.

“I don’t know,” Max says behind him. “Maybe a half hour? One of the guys found him”

It’s humid and smells like piss in the bathroom and Mike’s heart skips a beat when he sees him. Will is face down in the stall, his cheek to the tile and one leg bent.

Mike kneels beside him, hands on his back heavily and shakes him.

Max and Will bitch about Mike together on call all the time, in fact they started doing it more once the Byers move to Cali. Will, El and Max stay on call all night and when El falls tired and goes to sleep they take the chance and hop on to their favourite hobby again, bitching about Mike, Will bitches cause he loves Mike while Max bitches cause she hates him.
