Saying that the Duffer Brothers robbed us from Max and Will interaction is kinda too early (and theory of how they'll defeat Vecna)

The Hive-Mind

As we know, Vecna said that all of these people he killed/consumed are inside of his head, and Brenner said that he takes everything from his victims, not just kill them.

Will has a connection with Henry and the Mind Flayer since he was twelve, and at the end of season 4 Will says he can still sense and understand how Vecna thinks. With these informations, what exactly stops Will from entering Henry mind like he does to him? These scenes of him distacing himself from the group and looking at certain places could be him entering accidentaly in Henry's mind and seeing Max, so by this way they would communicate with each other and strengthen their bond and understand how to defeat Vecna.

The zombie-boy who lived

It's known that Stranger Things takes a lot of inspirations from Harry Potter, and Will has some similarities with Harry himself. Surviving an attack from the main antagonist (until now, i think the Mind Flayer will take this role back for himself) of the series, having a deep connection with him, both of them been boys that feel like they don't belong in this world, feeling weird compared to other people, and apparently Henry had a girl friend that helped him like Mike helps Will. I don't really know the entire plot from The First Shadow.

What if, just like Harry had a part of Voldemort's soul on him, Will has a part of Henry's soul on him too? This would end with Will "dying" alongside Henry's soul, then coming back to life, and Max's would finally be back at her body. So then The Bridge (episode 7 title) would be broken because their connection was the real thing keeping Vecna away from the real world. The Upside Down would come full into Hawkins and the final battle would begin.

The rest of this theory would interfere with my theory that the Mind Flayer will betray Henry, so i will leave it for another post 👌.

Will probably took an interest in Max because she had no idea what happened to him. He could finally have a friend who didn’t pity him. But then he had an episode in front of her, so now she looks at him the same way everyone else does. They never got to form a friendship with everything going on.

Then Max went through an identical trauma with no one to guide her. Maybe if Will were there he could’ve helped her. But she ended up in a coma. Knowing Will, he probably blames himself a little bit too. They keep missing perfect opportunities to become friends!
