merlin breaks down in front of lancelot about all the anti-magic things his friends say (even tho it’s never “oh nasty vile sorcerers will die by my blade” or some shit but like those backhanded comments or lil micro aggressions against not just magic users but also followers of the old religion) and he’s just crying to lancelot about how the people he would die for would kill him if they knew the truth (they wouldn’t really but he’s allowed to be a lil dramatic)

anyways lancelot starts noticing the comments a lot more and peeps merlin’s lil flinches or sullen expressions and gets irate on his behalf and becomes his voice. lancelot stands up against the anti-magic rhetoric and challenges anyone who disagrees with him. merlin warns him that even being a magic sympathizer is against the law and worthy of execution. lancelot shoots back that that was only a thing during uther’s reign, arthur hasn’t even ordered an execution since becoming king.

lancelot continues to argue on behalf of all magic users and followers of the old religion. since lancelot is lancelot, his points and arguments are well thought out, perfectly worded, and executed brilliantly - no one can win an argument against him. slowly, the anti-magic rhetoric begins to unravel and more and more people are swayed to being pro-magic until the pressure is on arthur to repeal the ban

Summary:

Then someone new came along. Long after the encounters with death. Long after the obsession with words has settled in.

They had nothing to do with either of them, nor the daycare, and not even the other animatronics. Just a simple tour guide, bringing groups around place to place, with simple explanations, free goodies, and overly preppy cheer. It may have been in the job description, but they acted as if they were best friends with any animatronic they introduced – including them.

It felt wrong. It felt ugly. It felt as if the perfect smile on that face as they bestowed compliment after compliment on each tour was just that. Skin deep.

I really did want to wait until further into October to post these, but with the chance of being out of power for 2 weeks due to back to back hurricanes, I figured it's best if I post this now rather than risk being late. It's still spooky month, and plenty of people can enjoy the spooks any time! <3

Three days ago I received my summer exchange gift from @harmaanoita being this most adorable fanfic - I don't lie when I say I was turning into a school girl giggling, grinning and kicking my feet in the air at midnight reading these three adorable little interactions that you wrote for our boys :'D (also the author's note alone made me very emotional, thank you :'3 <3)

This scene of Jere putting on Bojan's make up spoke to me so I had to draw it 👀if for nothing else then to satisfy my own silly brain so it could release even more dopamin making me into a silly teenage girl yet again putting this on paper (or .... you know what I mean, tablet x'D)
