This Columbine plant has spring to life after we removed the thick layer of mulch and leaves that was covering it. Some more leaves blew in for somewhere and I cleaned those off after taking the photo. I believe there is more than one in the front garden, but this is the one that has really taken to some fresh air and watering.

UPDATE: My original order (placed on September 3rd) from @brecks_bulbs at long last, finally arrived today. FedEx lost it, and last week a replacement order was initiated, shipping in the next 24-72 hours. The first picture is ideally how the Stromanthe Triostar should look. When I first picked up the box, it was featherweight—I knew that was bad, because that meant it dried out. As you can see, this poor plant is a desiccated, broke-down, hot mess. ☹️ It was so dry, it shifted out of its nursery pot in transit. However, I have a strong sense this unfortunate plant can be revived. There are still signs of life! I’ve rehydrated it, clipped away most of the dead, or dying leaves, and gave it fresh air and afternoon sun on my balcony. This Variegated Monstera deliciosa has been neglected for years, (shame on me I had no idea the value). This mango tree had a rough start when its main root broke but it is doing fine. Today I’m moving it outside to get some rain and sun.

These cute little plants are soaking in some sun in the front window. Three of them are getting transplanted today. In the photo there are three miniature Hedou Bok Choy, one mandarin orange bonsai tree, and a miniature tea rose plant. Four of these plant where planted by our baby and one was a mothers present. We are sentimental about these plants and the greet us every time we come home from our front window and bring a smile to our faces. Hubby’s favorite office plant the coffee plant unfortunately is no longer with us. We decided to try and make him feel better buy making him a mint plant to go in his office. We cut a nice fluffy branch off of one of the mint plants in the playroom, propagated it, and planted it a nice pot. It made him feel much better. It is always interesting to see how the plants roots form in their pots. They always look different and sometimes unusual. The Aloe plant is now has grand babies and is still making more pups. Did you know that aloe offsets are called pups? We have a lot of puppies here at our little Chateau thanks to one little aloe plant we grew last year. The poinsettias got a little dry in the window but are doing much better. Poinsettias are actually evergreen perennials and will grow all year long. The orchids roots are starting to grow out of the top of the pot more than they were before. I want to repot it later in the year. I already have the soil from when my eldest was going to repot hers before it died but I don’t have a pot. The umbrella is growing like a weed! It is really amazing watching the babies plant grow so fast. There is always a new leaf growing on it and he waters as needed and feeds it plant food. It’s even sitting on his toddler table in the sitting room because he loves it.
