Our little ones sweet million tomato pant is starting to grow more leaves at the top and grow runners. Tomato plants take longer to grow but can fruit more often and for longer than some other plants. I decided to start a new tradition with him - Plant new plants every Easter morning! So we started these babies today and hopefully we will have at least half of a green thumb! Produce update! We’ve had our first strawberry! 🙌🏼🍓🤤🥳🥰 Peas, courgette, pumpkin, carrots, basil, blueberries, aubergine, spearmint & chocolate mint are all growing well. So excited to harvest some more fruit and veg soon! Roo has loved it so much. It’s so good for him to see where food comes from and we’ve grown most of them from seed. Sometimes having kids motivates you do things you’ve always talked about doing, but never get around to doing! This was true for me and city gardening. Addy and I planted parsley, lavender, dill, and basil earlier this summer and have been having so much fun tending to the plants, harvesting and eating them!
