Ripslinger would never admit this to anyone, but a part of him enjoys girly pop music. Don't get him wrong, he likes Hard Rock, Phonk, and Drill just fine, but there's something about girly pop music that gets him energized.

Aww you’re sweet! 💕 And thank you for something to chew on—I’ve got Thoughts ™ abt them and it got longer than I anticipated lol

It’s not an immediate attraction, that’s for sure. In fact it’s slow burn. Following the fire and Dusty getting his certification, whatever’s sparked between them is pretty much rooted in mutual respect, something too stiff for them to ever actually be comfortable being friends and yet they’re closer than even that, as they’ve seen each other at their most vulnerable. They’re confidantes but never friends.

In an au where Dusty doesn’t return to racing, the next year after he gets his certification he starts splitting his time between Propwash Junction and Piston Peak during fire season. He and Blade do a lot of patrols together, since the rest of the crew seem to have collectively lumped them together since Dusty would be “good for him”. It’s little moments that define what’s growing between them—cute pranks, team-enforced ‘bonding time’, sitting in companionable silence and watching storm clouds roll in—in the human ‘verse it’s Dusty stealing Blade’s coffee mug, the two huddling under Blade’s jacket during a rain shower, using each other’s shoulders as a place to rest their head, a game of pool at the Lodge that ‘accidentally’ gets a bit handsy.

Blade’s not looking for any kind of relationship—he’d grieved Nick for a long time, and by the point he let go solitude had become a habit. And so it’s difficult to allow himself to want something so new and precious and fragile. But Maru kinda strong arms him into admitting he enjoys Dusty’s company and then it’s a very subtle courtship on his side. 

Dusty, on the other hand, goes with the blessing of the Propwash crew. He’ll respect Blade’s decision if he’s rejected, but he’s not a stubborn country boy for nothing and he’s willing to shoot his shot, unaware that Blade’s been doing the same for the last couple months.

Somehow the mess gets resolved via the combined powers of the Smokejumpers’ inability to keep their mouths’ shut and Maru’s waning patience.

And even once they’re together, they keep it pretty low profile in front of everyone else, with only slight PDA. In private though Dusty’s very physically affectionate, draping himself over Blade’s shoulder or cuddling up together.

I think I have more but my brain is fried and I have class in the morning 🫡

CARS

Lightning - he would definitely listen to all the songs from the whole Cars Series like "Real Gone", "Life is Highway" or "Ride". Personally, I think he would be a fan of Imagine Dragons and The Score.

Mater - in my opinion, our lovely tow truck would listen to country songs, most often from Brad Paisley, possibly a few songs from musicals

Sally- Personally, I think she would be a huge ABBA fan. Just imagine her singing this band's songs as she works

Doc - I don't think our legendary Hudson Hornet would be addicted to music, but I know he wouldn't despise "Everybody Wants To Rule World" and "Nothing else matters" (he would despise today's music, saying that the 80's was the best)

Luigi -he could certainly be a fan of jazz and swing. I feel like this music brings back memories for him

Guido - in the case of a pit stop champion, I believe he would listen to some accapella. I don't know why, it just seems that way to me

Ramone- seems to be a guy who listens to rap/punk (I don't know what to call it) Something like "Gangsta's Paradise" or "Punk Tactics"

Flo - The Rolling Stones. She. is. Just. Big. Fangirl. Of. It.

Red-well, our sensitive guy could listen to lofi music, which always helps him to organize his thoughts and calm down

Fillmone -would be a fan of Michael Jackson. He would love his voice and his favorite song would be "Heal the World"

Sarge-I don't think he would have any fun with music. He would listen to whatever is playing in the background

Lizzie-like some hits from the 30s. She'd definitely mention Stanley on "It's been a long long time"

Mack- he would have a lot of fun listening to Skillet. Every time he goes somewhere, he'll vibe to one of these songs

Sheriff- he wouldn't admit it to anyone, but he loves musical songs. Especially "From now on" from The Greatest Showman

Cruz - QUEEEEENN!!! SHE WOULD BE A HUGE FAN OF THIS BAND! I even have a vision of her excitedly sitting at the premiere of "Bohemian Rhapsody" (her favorite song is "Show must go on")

Finn: Did you think Mack was a big Skillet fan? Look at this agent. He would go to every concert because he thinks this band is badass. Just like Fall out Boy. He plays these songs EVERY TIME when he's on some mission (in one earphone of course) Sometimes he'll listen to "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons

Holley - I think she would like to listen to Katy Perry. It was her childhood idol and now her songs help Holley to cheer her up

Chick-probably would listen to typical rap

Strip - our king would be a fan of The Weekend. His favorite song would be "Pray for me"

Cal- Like his uncle, he would love The Weekend, but he wouldn't disdain Imagine Dragons

Bobby-would listen to Pitbull. I don't know, somehow I see him enjoying his music

Jackson - I think he would love Panic! At The Disco. He would most like "Let's kill tonight"

Francesco- he would be a fan of Kesha. I know it's weird but I just see him dancing to "Blow" or "Timber"

Prof Z - he would probably turn up a villain playlist on YouTube and enjoy it. He would also feel like a boss listening to "Crazy=genius" by Panic! At the Disco

Miles- Maneskin would be glad. Once for laughs, he sang "I Wanna Be Your Slave" to Prof

Sterling - That son of a bitch (I hate him, sorry) probably wouldn't like music :V

Tex - our favorite Dinoco owner would probably listen to jazz, which would calm him down and give him satisfaction, because he believes that "jazz is music for successful people"

Acer and Germ - these two are die-hard fans of Eminem. I imagine them driving to their "work" listening to one of his songs

PLANES

Dusty-When Doc said "Today younglish don't know anything about music" he certainly didn't mean our favorite plane. Ozzy Osbourne, Electric Light Orchestra, Guns N Roses, Queen, Metallica, Nirvana or even single tracks like "Let's Grove Tonight" are like a piece of cake for him. He has music from the 70s, 80s or 90s in his little finger. (also fandom songs for ex. "Build our Machine", "Get Out" or "Hero Forms")

Dottie- Personally, I think she would be a fan of Arcane songs. She often listens to them while she works, which gives her a really cool vibe (especially "Playground" or "Snakes")

Chug - a fan of the opening credits of various series or cartoons and more (and also fan of Disney/Dreamworks songs) For sure, while watching "Ninjago" or "Monkie Kid" together with Dusty, he would sing it out loud (I'm not surprised :V)

Skipper - Personally, I think Skip would love to hear songs from "Sweeney Todd" (Highly recommended)

Sparky-Weezer fan. Definitely

Mayday-I personally think he would listen to songs about courage and sacrifice for example

El Chu - romantic songs are for him the rhythm of his heartbeat. I guess I don't need to explain this 😅

Bulldog -anthem of Great Britain. Just kidding, he would probably listen to Avicii while still grieving over the death of that artist

Ishani-I think Ishani would be a Lady Gaga fan. She'd have no problem dancing to "Bad Romance" or "Americano"

Rip - our emo plane would probably be a huge fan of Slipknot. He really gives me the vibe of someone whose favorite song is "People=Sh!t" from this band

Rochelle - She's Swiftie. I JUST SEE IT as he listens and vibes to "Anti-hero", "Welcome to New York" or "ME!"

Ned and Zed - they even have the same taste xd. I think they would both enjoy listening to Halsey or Billie Ellish, sometimes even Melanie Martinez

Franz -our favorite German would not have a favorite genre. He would just listen to whatever he wanted

Echo-this fighter wouldn't mind listening to Twenty One Pilots. The song "Stressed Out" is his favourite

Bravo - his favorite artist would be Rob Zombie. "More human than human" always accompanies him on his patrol

Blade- Well, at first our favorite helicopter wasn't a big music fan, but when Dusty showed him the song "Gladiator" by Jann, he started listening to it addictively

Windlifter-dude seems to me to be the type of person who listens to action movie soundtracks (for example Avengers) It gives him strength and motivation to train and fight fire

Lil'Dipper - anime intros can sing like no other. She is such a big fan of Britney Spears and Blondie. She also won't despise K-Pop.

Maru- Our fireman mechanic would be a huge fan of AC/DC. He loves to listen to them while working and often asks Patch to put on one of these songs during the action (it was even in the movie :V) He would also love "You're the best" or "Eye of the tiger.

Dynamite- For sure her favorite song would be "Black Widow". She would also like to listen to punk rock like "I Am A Poser"

Pinecone -she would 100% listen to fantasy songs like "Willow Tree March" because it brings the world to life in her head (in headcanon, I think she's a sensitive person with a vivid imagination)

Blackout-N.I.R.V.A.N.A totally. I don't know, I have the impression that he would listen to this band since he was a child and would go to every concert if he could

Avalanche - as with Rip, he would listen to Slipknot. It helps him release his emotions

Drip-I personally think he would be a Bruno Mars fan. Imagine him in sunglasses, chilling to "The Lazy Song"

Cabbie-Fan Rag N Bone Man. He would love the vibe of these songs and would relax to them

Patch-The Runways would be the band she fell in love with after watching Guardians of the Galaxy (basically, she listens to all the songs in that movie)

Cad - in my opinion, he wouldn't listen to music except for the song "I'm Awesome"

Nick- He would feel great joy while listening to Metallica. Once Blade walked into his dressing room and saw him singing and jumping to "Master of Puppets"

Leadbottom - this old man would complain about today's music even more (and more annoyingly) than Doc. He'd think 50s music was the best

EMILY: Stopped and searched at the security checkpoint because she forgot she was wearing an ankle holstered gun. Is the person who kicks your seat and hogs the armrest because gay people do not know how to sit on a chair properly.

JJ: Is the one having her armrest hogged by Emily. Opens a packet of peanuts and gives someone an allergic reaction. Should have stuck with Cheetos…

TARA: “It’s okay, I’m a doctor! Not a doctor of medicine, but I’m sure I can figure it out!”

PENELOPE: Watches movies on her tablet and eats M&M’s like the little iPad kid she is, eventually falling asleep on Morgan’s shoulder during ‘Legally Blonde’.

MORGAN: Shamelessly flirting with the flight attendants and trying to hide the fact that he is watching ‘Legally Blonde’ over Penelope’s shoulder—and loving it.

HOTCH: Reading FBI case files in his sunglasses, not noticing the kid who has been staring at him the whole time thinking ‘damn, James Bond be on this flight.’

SPENCER: Talking to that same kid and his mother, explaining aerodynamics and discussing plane crash statistics. The kid’s mother requests a seat change.

ELLE: Lets Spencer explain aerodynamics to her instead. She swaps her red jello for his orange jello from the airplane meal because red is his favourite.

Thinking about whenever Corvus found out about the family photo Soren keeps.

Regardless if it was on accident or on purpose, I can imagine Soren being understandably emotional if something made him pull it out.

And Corvus, trying to make Soren smile, bumps him with his shoulder and says “Hey. You were a cute kid.”

And Soren sniffles and is like “Excuse you, I am still cute.”

And Corvus just goes “Yeah. Yeah, you are.”

Very fond of that headcanon where jayvik just gets teleported in another universe or back in time before everything went to shit and they shut eveything down, the hextech, the politics, drop all of it and opt for a quiet simple life anywhere (they still do invent and do esperiments/science, but not the on-the-verge-of-doom type, more of a laid back day-to-day-help sort of thing) but they just take care of each other, be together and revel in the second chance they have been given, never taking it for granted and being so obnoxiously in love it's unbearable to see

And since I'm a huge sucker for angst, my brain immediately thought of developing that idea in order to hurt my beautiful baby boy some more. That and also the fact that my brain immediately looks for logic in the laws of cartoon physics (I really shouldn't do that...)

So I bring you the "Cole is a Ghost Kind-of-Saga". I still have a few more ideas to exploit, notably adressing the ways the other ninjas will help him cope with his new condition :3

Shane Gang Head Cannons because brain rot

[Feel free to add]

Eli never got his GED(obviously he was 15 when he took the Drop)

But this also translates to Slugterra as well seeing as how no one makes much of a fuss about the Shane being a 15 year old kid who probably should be in school

Between the Episodes "The World Beneath our feet(1&2)" and "Shadows & Light", Kord, Trixie and Pronto pick up on the fact Eli, despite being Will Shane's son, dose not know a whole lot about Slugterra.

more accurately, certain little things most kids around Eli's age learn real early, like The Slug Run, how tricky it is to trap slugs, that in tournaments you lose a slug if you lose, Blakk and the SlugTarran Express and a hand full more, are not common knowledge to the young Shane. Because anyone with access to the SlugNet and a TV should know these things

However after "Shadows & Light" when Eli says he was home sick on the lesson about Slug energy being the key to a Caverns survival, and Bullseye being the center of Slugterra, the team realizes their resident Shane did not in fact receive standard education

this is because those are simple, easy things that are recapped, like every school year in Slugterra's education system set up

This then prompts the gang covertly asking Eli questions about stuff, seeing if he's right or wrong, and then correcting him

to take it a step further, for educational slugisodes, Trixie asks Eli to do the research/help write the script

no one blames him, because Eli was probably homeschooled by his dad,

but even then, The Will Shane forgetting to each his son something as important as Slug energy's connection to the Caverns put a tiny little crack in their perception of the man

Kord is the one who teaches Eli how to shave

Eli has a small privet cry over that

The guy's have had to physically restrain Trixie from punching/shooting a Slug at people(mostly sexist men), on more than one occasion

They let her do it once because that one particular guy had it coming

Pronto is the best cook, his Cave Crawler special is just something his mom used to make and he loves it, and wants to share that with his friends :)

Eli keeps the letter his dad wrote on him at all times, and when he's feeling anxious he reads it.

every one has read the letter, by accident and Eli has no clue

Pronto has tried to get the others hooked on "Kisses from a Hoverbug" Kord is the only one interested

Kord has drunk motor oil, twice, once to know what it tastes like, and once on a dare

Trixie, as the only girl on the team, get's priority when it comes to the bathroom

Eli has eaten slug food, twice, once to know what it tastes like, and once on a dare

Eli hums songs from the surface sometimes

Kord has more than one helmet, just in case

Pronto has a comical amounts of bandanas and neck scarfs, to the point he could pull off the endless scarf gag most magicians do

Since Pronto sleep walks: each member of the Team has gotten up in the middle of the night for something, is at first perturbed by it, but by the third/fifth time, the use it as prime prank opportunity

Trixie dared Kord to drink motor oil or be called a cowered

Eli is banned from certain searches on the SlugNet

not for anything he did, the team just want him to stay ignorant to certain things, like thirst traps of his dad, and Will Shane x Thaddius Blakk fanfic his devices literally have parental locks just to make sure

^ this is referring to a post I saw about there being thirst traps of Will Shane, and crack theory's, like Eli actually being Blakk's son having a lil' rebellious phase on the SlugNet + some other stuff. I don't remember who made the post, but if your reading this, it lives rent free in my head, and I love you (platonically)

Over the course their friendship, before the events of 'A Distant Shore' the team has bets on what Cavern Eli is actually from because they do not buy the "Oh uh I was raised in a secret Cavern" excuse the more they get to know Eli Shane.

Hero worship be damned Trixie will punch Will Shane

If he's feeling sad, Eli wares the hoodie he was wearing when he fist took the drop

he wears it for three days following the events of "The New Kid"

Eli has a silent freakout in "The New Kid' because of Twist's Slug's name being Loki, like the Norse god of tricks. how and why?

Kord has been wanting to make jetpacks since he was a kid

The Mecha, Mecha Beast the team built in 'Roboslugs' reminded Eli of a Megazord from Power Rangers, and it took everything not to quote PR

Pronto likes to garden

the slugs like to eat whatever is in Pronto's garden

Pronto has 'successfully navigated the Caverns of Time, not once but TWICE' in his bio of all platforms he's on.

Human AU Blade Headcanons No One Asked For

This guy has been listening to AC/DC since he was a kid in the late 70s. The records in tower are his, and Patch takes very good care of them.

Mayday encouraged Blade to keep his pilot's license and choose a career in fire where he could use it. He also helped Blade out of a grief spiral after Nick died, and Blade thinks of him as a mentor figure.

Blade has a natural intelligence for problem solving.

While Blade wants nothing to do with his fame or acting career, he still appreciates acting as an art form. He enjoys watching movies with other people to discuss afterwards, but he struggles to invite others to do it with him.

He might not wear it outwardly, but Blade is a total aviation nerd. That man loves rotary aircraft and anything else that flies.

Blade grew up in San Fran and became familiar with American West Coast culture at an early age. Like many young men in the 80s, he was involved in gay nightlife. Unfortunately, Blade chose to pull away from the community when more and more of his buddies were falling ill. It was difficult for him to stay around that despair, and he'd also need that separation in case his acting career blew up.

The only people who knew about Blade's relationship with Nick were Nick's parents, who accepted him as a member of their small family. Nick's parents suffered from health issues, so Blade would pitch in around their house like second son during visits. He even learned some of their family recipes.

Blade spent so much time with Nick that he picked up small pieces of his East Harlem dialect, like his use of the word "ain't." He also learned a couple Spanish phrases from being around Nick's family, but they're specific to the Caribbean variant that's spoken in Puerto Rico.

Blade has a collection of Polaroid photos that feature his relationship with Nick.

Lot's of people in Hollywood, and even at Piston Peak, speculate about what went on with Blade and Nick. Blade wants to reveal more about their relationship, but first, he needs to think of a plan. He wants it to special and on his own terms.

why haven't i seen anyone acknowledge rody's plane autism... sure, you can argue that he's just really passionate about them but hear me out:

through pino, we can see how happy he gets from just seeing a plane! esp in the left image, last panel; if you ask me, that's an expression of autism bliss.

now, i dunno about you, but me, personally, i cannot discern plane makes/models from one another. my knowledge is basic. i bring this up because of rody commenting "i've never seen a plane like that before." this stands out to me because the fact that he can tell goes to show how much he pays attention when a plane is flying overhead. he likely spends a Lot of time looking at planes. i mean, they live by an airport, there is a chair just outside their door, it's a fair assumption.

the fact his siblings acknowledge his love of planes... i mean, for someone who masks as much as rody, it's very telling.

the next thing i wanna call attention to is the baby mobile that's hanging up in their trailer!

notice how it has little planes? from that, we can infer that this is rody's! (i'm sure they used this for his siblings as well, but it's rody's)

it's hanging up as decoration, but the fact that they still have it... it implies that rody went back into their desecrated home just to get it. it's important to him!!

additionally, in the credits of whm, we can see that rody's gotten a toy plane! it's on display next to their tv.

to me, his love of planes is really significant because, well, if you think about it, it's another way in which he parallels deku! think about it: deku loves heroes, he loves heroes so much that it being a hero is his dream. rody loves planes! i don't think it's a far-fetched idea that the REASON why rody wants to become a pilot is because he loves planes!!!

One of my tokyo revengers headcanons is that after emma died, mikey took all of emmas stuffed animals and dolls and blankets and pillows and clothes. And he put them in his new room. Whether or not that room is the one on sano property or wherever he lived after he lost to izana and kisaki. I think he took them bcause he wants to feels emmas presence, and because he feels bad for all those items, without an owner or family, left all alone.

It's already canon that Mikey grew up surrounded by his older brothers belongings in his room after Shinichiro died, so it makes sense for emmas belongings too. Especially the pink bear draken got her. Mikey would totally have that. And mikey is already extremely attached to the belongings of his dead loved ones, such as his Babu and bajis charm, so I think he has a momento of emma that he keeps with him always, in every future timeline. Because in every future timeline except the last one, emma is dead. And mikey was left alone. So now the only things that could comfort mikey, having lost his matching partner, are her old belongings. And only mikey can comfort those belongings, after they were left behind by their parted old owner.

You fully believe this character is or could be a regressor/cg/flip/something. There's bits in canon that you can point to and say that's why and there's reasons why they would specificially regress or be a caregiver! A headcanon or heartcanon.

For sillies. Feasibly, you could write ANY character to be part of the community! You don't actually think it would fit but you're either imagining it because you're fond of the character and there's just something about it or you're going through all the characters in your head an applying babification to them. I call these "regressorland headcanons" where you prioritise the regression over being true to canon.

Both are great Both are entertaining! But gosh it can be hard to get yourself to answer "do I actually think this would fit or am I just doing this for the sake of it/doing what i think could possibly apply"
