Well today the food is going to be boringly plain. I’m going into hospital tomorrow for a colonoscopy so it’s chicken breast and potato day with clear liquids. Whoever created this low residue white diet seriously needs to re-examine it! So I can eat white bread and dairy products but being a coeliac and dairy intolerant I’m reduced to clear liquids and chicken and potatoes 😱hope you all have a beautiful day. For those who felt the earthquake this morning I hope you’re keeping safe ♥️♥️ #lunch #plainfood #lowresiduewhitefood #preparingforhospital #chickenbreast #potatoes #poachedchicken #glutenfree #grainfree #dairyfree #eggfree #nutfree #freerange #grainfreeandhappykitchen https://www.instagram.com/p/CUG76kUvoVS/?utm_medium=tumblr

Eating highly flavored foods will not help us fast nor get us off our food addiction. Let's skip sauces and condiments as much as we can! I skipped the bearnaise sauce at this restaurant and ate my veggies au naturel. #terrauniversale #terraunivesale #ketogenicdiet #dietacetogenica #dietaceto #cetosis #ketodiet #ketosis #cetoviaje #verduras #mantequilla #atkins #ketotravel #highfatlowcarb #butter #organic #eatfat #acceptance #waterfast #waterfasting #ayuno #ayunodeagua #españa #marbella #estepona #plainfood (at Los Abanicos - Benahavis)

28 October - Sucre to Potosí, Bolivia
It was time to say goodbye to the beautiful Parador hotel and lovely Sucre: onward we go! Thankfully we are now 85% recovered and so the three hour taxi ride to Potosí didn't seem as daunting as it did before. Seat belts: check (hurrah!). Driver who speaks no English and drives like a maniac: check. Random police stops, rope 'barriers' and driver shopping/tinkling stops: check. We had heard that the ride would be a true Bolivian experience and we weren't disappointed, just a little scared at times... We made it to Potosí in one piece though (three hour drive in a private car for 200Bs = ~£23.60 ain't bad) and were taken directly to our hostel. Potosí is one of the highest cities in the world at 4,090m above sea level and so it is a) hard to breathe again, and b) isn't particularly accessible and is therefore, like Puno, a dump. Matters weren't helped by the fact that the hostel couldn't give us a double room with baño privado, as booked. As we had altered our booking in order to stay in Sucre longer, we were at the back of the queue to be honoured with the correct room and so we were given a room with two sets of bunkbeds and a shared bathroom *sigh*. We headed to the old bus station to investigate timetables and tickets for the next day to get to Uyuni, gateway to Salar de Uyuni, the famous salt flats. Wahoo! It is a four hour journey from Potosí and another truly Bolivian experience, wandering in to the bus station with people shouting at you, unofficial signs and assurances of timely departures. We opted for "Turismo 11 de Julio" and paid 30Bs (~£3.50) per person for our tickets. Let's hope that there is a bus and a driver when we turn up at the station again tomorrow morning! After a very early dinner at "La Taberna" (still going for fairly plain food...) we hit the hay and squeezed ourselves into one of the four bunkbeds, huddling together for warmth and cuddles!
