Now i want to talk about process stuff / complicatios behind that video but i didnt feel like putting it in the tags of the post. talking below... 💥

i watched a lovely tutorial on rotoscopy in CSP (by REM Creates) but i immediately was stumped at the first step because when i imported the clip to trace over, it never played the video. i'm still not sure why but i think the tutorial-maker had the more expensive version of CSP (which i do not) so maybe that impacted it.

so I had to screenshot frames and import them in, but I also wanted to rearrange the characters slightly, so in the middle of the animation it became less rotoscopy and more just me referencing the screenshots for the movement. which i think worked out well ::-)

there are also black borders around the video itself which i did NOT put there, i think it is a thing windows movie maker does but i have only used it a few times (and only twice for animations) so i really do not know what is up with that !!!!!!!!!!! it's okay i guess it just isn't what i expected. i'm more bothered by the fact that i dont know how to get rid of them. but if you know then feel free to tell me lol

also i think it is really nice that i am uploading animations to youtube again. i think its literally been like 10 years since i first got into animating with flash. i don't have grand ideas for animations in general and what i've done has been pretty relatively simple but it makes the little 12-year-old animator in my happy.

okay yeah so uhh yeah so um... YEAH!! im scattered today but i'm glad i finished that because i thought it was delightfully silly.and it comes from a delightfully silly movie as well. bye have a nice day i love you
