And I'm like waaaaaait. He can taste not only the specific ingredient but also specifically which place it's from.

But also like how the frick his sense of taste so sensitive to be that specific?

Does that mean his sense of smell is really sensitive too since tase mostly comes from your sense of taste? Tho he could have smelt meatsweat scent in this episode, tho he had jello bones so he couldn't exactly track quickly without falling out lol

Sidenote: googling about ornate box turtles sense and found they have both a keen sense of smell and sight

Also apparently found out soft shells sense of smell is so distinguished it surpasses dogs sooo that could explain donnie "certain" taste like flavourless juice

So, there was a line in TMNT’03 when Raph complains about his ribs that got me thinking, isn’t a turtles shell their ribs?

So, I did a little looking into the skeletal structure of turtles and how it might apply to the brothers, particularly the Rise brothers as they’re all different species. Here’s the little chart of common bone and scute patterns, and some speculation on how their reptilian features affects them!

I’ll post my individual skeletal studies after!

I know it's rather cinematic than explanatory, so here's an extra info<3: Pizzelle/Noise gives off odd behavior and various hints (like questioning some of italian man's life aspects latter wasn't supposed to think too much about) perhaps trying to reach out for Pizzano's 'true self', rather than approaching him straightforwardly. Because, y'know, Pizzy might've be considered insane in this case. THOUGH I must admit the uneasy feeling of pretty much everything going off tracks DOES make Pizzano feel wrong and genuinely worried about Pizzelle!! and.. himself? 👀
