hey y’all!

i’m a former very active simmer (r.i.p. pixeltricks) back from the dead with the purchase of a really fantastic new desktop that runs sims like a dream! it’s been a few years since i was really active but i am so excited to be back. my favorite game update so far has to be scenarios because i finally have the motivation to play through generations now! i’m looking for active mm gameplay and cc blogs to follow so feel free to comment or reblog so i can come back and follow you!

go to the control panel and see if the sound section and check to see if your computer is defaulting to something weird :) that happened to me with my HDMI cord!

I tried that a few days ago, and it did have two things enabled. I disabled the one that wasn't my headphones, and I restarted the computer like four or five times, and I eventually got it to work.

My WoW headphones wouldn't hold any charge anymore, and the spousal person decided to replace them with the same brand that he had, and I guess he didn't know that they would interfere with each other.  Sigh.

That’s so funny because I need utter silence when I’m writing! Do you have an outside way of playing music, like via your phone or something?

I do actually have music on my phone, but I don't know where the earbuds are, earbuds bother me, and it doesn't have any playlists set up. Still though, that's an idea, and it'd be better than silence. Thank you!

And haha yeah - there's a reason I do Story Music Friday and why I have like seven or eight story mix CDs and six or seven story-related playlists on YouTube.
