I deleted A LOT of my old posts so I had to DIG. First picture is from my first ever legacy the Schipano Legacy. I know I started posting on this blog in February 2014, but I believe this screenshot is from late 2013? I was lurking on simblr from my superwholock blog (no, not kidding) starting in 2013 but at the time I was really intimidated (lol I KNOW) because everyone had these poses and custom hairs and elaborate soap opera story lines. So I prepped for months to come up with the perfect legacy backstory LMAO. That toddler - Starr Schipano - was an orphan raised by her grandfather and ended up in a love triangle with the generic white boy next store and her adopted cousin??? It was 2013 okay idk.

Second picture is from my current Normal LEPacy gameplay this is (spoilers, I guess) Bunny Normal the generation 21 heiress of the legacy!!!

First berry sweet sims were the mango perfect genetics challenge which I believe I started posting in summer 2014? I even did my first bachelor challenge and only completed bachelor challenge with gen 2 of that legacy. This was the founder Margot Mango and her son ... Remy? apparently I was in a french phase lol

First time ever playing the sims 4 was when I started my pancakes legacy in October 2015 (literally 8 years ago HOW). But I still didn't like the sims 4 so that quickly led to me creating John Waffles, founder of the Waffles Lepacy in November 2015.

Lastly, generation 1 of the Normal Lepacy (when I was neck deep in my cut out phase) which was February 2021. The Normals are my both my chaos and my comfort save. Funny story the other day my partner saw me editing my new family tree the other day and asked me "wait, you're still playing with the family of the guy with the weird name who looked like John Oliver???" and then we went through every heir to see who he remembered (honestly a surprising amount lol)

Sunset Valley Full Renovation: Day 1

I've been playing TS3 since its release date and I'm TIRED of seeing these fugly sims every single time I create a new save file. I, of course, have tried with some DF (hair, makeup, clothes, environment, etc.), but sometimes it either 1. looks bad and bugs, or 2. I just don't see myself satisfied with how they look. So I started a brand-new save file in Sunset Valley to modify EVERY SINGLE SIM and HOUSE where they live. It might sound hard (because it is), but I'm using this mission to learn more and more about building and creating sims since I suck at both.

I started with the Single Moms family since I love all of them with all my heart. I aged up Sandi since, in my game with my settings, she would just grow up the next in-game day and I would lose all my progress. By reading all their bios I tried to keep them as similar as the originals (colors, hair length, etc.). I know I said I also modified their houses, but I ain't showing that because taking all the screenshots I need is way more tiring than I expected.

After I completed them, I went with Agnes and her house. Her house was actually nice, so I just made sure to put some more lights since it was so dark, even in the day. I was done with her house, so I started modifying her. I tried to keep her face structure intact. I changed her clothes to some pants and a sweater. It looked great. Out of a whim, I put her an eyebrow piercing. And I made sure she had some sort of a wedding/engagement ring so it signifies she was still mourning the death of her husband.

I went on with the project with Christopher Steel. When I was a teen I would ALWAYS make this man marry my sim. I aged up eventually and realized he looked like a potato. I always wanted to modify him, so now it was my moment, and I'm afraid I ate 💋💅 His face is brand new. I wanted to make sure he looked like the womanizer of Sunset Valley, so he had to be hot and buffed up since he's not rich. Again, I kept his eye, skin and hair color.

I followed my journey with one of the hill families. The Landgraab family was the victim first. I hated how Nancy looked. I know she might now not look old money, or even rich at all, but I couldn't find a way to make her look old money and pretty at the same time. The other two boys in the family had some face modifications done, but nothing out of the ordinary. A tip to make cute child and teen sims: age them up to Young Adults to modify their faces so you can make the one you imagine them to have when they grow up. You won't have any potato-looking teens or adults (ARLO FRIKING BUNCH).

That was all I did for day one. My game closed like 5 times, but it was worth it! I'll continue with more of this soon :)

@simblu It can be difficult nowadays to find the time to read, and I too, have way too many hobbies. But a recent study said that reading at least half an hour a day make people live longer :-)

@pixelswirl Everything I read by Sanderson is pure genius. The Reckoners wasn’t on my top list because I’m more into fantasy, but a few paragraphs and I was soooo gone already.... <3

Sorry for the awful preview! All of the hairs from this pack have been recoloured, I just couldn't fit previews of them all in. But I’m so happy we now how have vampires, they’re so beautifully creepy. These hairs now come in 45 colours, and they’re just so adorable. I LOVE the attention to detail in this pack :D

Do you know if there’s a similar trick to making eyes stick as well? They change with the hair and I have no idea why.

heyy, i'm having an issue with your carving table, if i use moo to put it over a table my sim won't route to it? it's fine if it's just floating in mid-air though.

hi! I’m sorry that you’re having issues with it. i’m just testing it out on my game, and having the same error. i feel something changed after a patch because it didn’t use to do this. I downloaded an alternative version that released around the time mine did, and that one is having the same issue. My work around is placing them on the table trying not to overlap the papers, remove the table, make them use them, and place the table again. i know this sounds silly, but it’s something until i try to figure out how to fix it.
