I think a lot of the people that are randomly insulting Kiss on this website right now are seriously lacking the cultural context of the band was formed in '73 and was literally groundbreaking for its era.

Like- we're talking less then 20 years since the guitar pedal was invented.

I'm not much of a fan, but they were making tropes that we take for granted. They were contemporaries with Earth, Wind and Fire. They were EDGY for the era.

No less than 3 Front 242 albums, but only 1 TG record. No haloblack, no Controlled Bleeding, no Pig, no Current 93, no PTV, no Chemlab, no SPK (!!!!!), no Clock DVA… who comes up with this shit? I mean, they picked the least industrial KMFDM record (Angst) and put that in there… same with the TKK choice (Sexplosion over I See or Confessions).
