I enjoy doing these pieces a lot, these last two in particular have been a blast to work on. However, I do feel somewhat frustrated by how long it takes me to make illustrations, so I've decided to take a step back for a little bit and rethink how I approach my work.

It won't be long, probably just a week, but when I come back I'm hoping to do some smaller pieces, some studies, and finally take the leap with some original work. I may do stuff like this again in the future, but expect them to be few and far between now.

Wait, is Ukki Pink's Peak Point helmet a wig? Are she and Ukki Yellow wearing modified wig/helmets?

In nannersverse Pink wear's wigs (Because her hair is too perfect honestly and why doesn't her hair match her pink body?)(I know when we have mutants involved it could be used to explain anything but there must be a limit)(And the idea that Pink works really hard to look so Kawaii feel commendable)

On the other hand Yellow's hair length is natural (Sometimes with extentions for certain looks like the Geisha hair) but the color is dyed green, Blue mentioning back in another post about Spike's Chimaerism that he recognizes the stink of hair dye and not being sent to get any as the gopher for Spike specifically, but is often sent to get it for Yellow.

I mean shit the second game had Pokemon VAs everywhere! Ash and Misty were front and center while Gary was (allegedly) traumatizing children..... Kami every time I stumble into any commentary on the Freaky Monkey Five fights, everyone gets weirded out by Yellow and I actually found him to be my second favorite after Pink when I was a kid. Now it's Red then Yellow.

Then again I only ever had 2 though the flamboyance in 3 would have sailed right over my head as a kid...

Pink Monkey (A Side)

The first illustration of 2024 and I'm still on my Ape Escape brain rot. Pink is definitely my favourite character, she's very cute (and terrifying!) and I hope I was able to show that in this first piece.

And I say first because I'm going to do a follow-up piece featuring Pink's... darker side. Alright, I hope you guys like this illustration and I'll see you in the next one.
