It feels like one of those riddles. How do you seat the dark forest demons at the dinner party where they’re all happy? Yes, you must include all of them. No, there is only one table. Leopardfoot wont do sitting near her father or Pinestar. Ryewhisker and Cloudberry must be sat together. Darkstripe is cooking.
Sounds like a fun logic puzzle lmao. I have to be quiet for the next couple days because I'm studying for some exams so, here, I'll give you 12 dramatic Dark Forest demons and you can play around with it.
(Elder Bones rolling out the CRT TV on the big-metal-rolly thing and bonus credit worksheet because he has to be his own substitute teacher that day)
Maximize happiness by scoring yourself with this; Seating next to a requested cat is +1. Seating next to a disliked cat is -1. Penalties and bonuses stack.
Givens;
The layout is a circle
There are 10 seats, and every seat must be filled.
Darkstripe is cooking next to Seat 1, he does not occupy any of the 10 seats but cannot be moved.
Cats; (Closest political ideology next to name. TL = Thistle Law. FA = Fire Alone. O = Other)
Darkstripe HT (Tigerstar's bumbling ex-minion, finally finding himself in death) He will only interact with the cat in Seat 1. Ideally, he would like to be next to Leopardfoot or Ryewhisker. He dislikes any Thistle Law supporter that is not Leopardfoot.
Cloudberry FA (An ancient conscientious objector who was forced to witness her love become illegal after her mate died defending her) Must be seated with Ryewhisker. Likes Pinestar, Morningstar, and Houndleap. Will fight any cat who doesn't like Morningstar.
Ryewhisker FA (Ancient conscientious objector who died defending his lover) Must be seated with Cloudberry. Likes Pinestar, Morningstar, and Darkstripe. Doesn't want Houndleap seated next to Coudberry. Can talk about collecting blood syrup.
Morningstar FA (Pacifist leader of ThunderClan, violently overthrown by his Cleric) Just wants to talk to Pinestar, comforted by Ryewhisker, appreciates Cloudberry but her aggression gives him anxiety so he will get a -1 if seated next to her.
Thistleclaw TL (Father of a hateful ideology, left StarClan in protest of Bluestar's acceptance) HATES any cat who is not from ThunderClan and also Morningstar, AND anyone who does not support Thistle Law. Likes Adderfang and Leopardfoot.
Adderfang TL (Mentor of Thistleclaw. Left StarClan with him.) Easily annoyed by "weakness," including non-violent cats. Does not want to talk about cooking.
Leopardfoot O (Mother of Tigerstar who followed Thistleclaw into the Dark Forest after Bluestar's trail) Doesn't want to be seated next to Thistleclaw, Pinestar, or Adderfang. Likes to talk about food.
Pinestar FA (Condemned for leaving his Clan to become a kittypet.) Does not want to be seated with anyone who was part of ThunderClan in his lifetime.
Snowtuft TL (Damned self willingly after killing children in the Crusades, from ShadowClan) Will discomfort any cat who had children. Does not like talking about politics. Has a good pudding recipe.
Houndleap FA (Damned for siring a ton of HalfClan kits) Will inevitably flirt with a cat on either side of him, "neutralizing" a character of your choice, but causing no impact on the character on the other side as if the seat is unfilled.
Leopardstar O (Bludgeoned to death by Mistystar after encouraging the second rise of Thistle Law in RiverClan.) Disavowed TL and doesn't want to hear anything about it. Also hates FA cats. Dislikes any cat who was damned for a non-violent crime. Likes to talk about carp recipes.
Fenneldust O (A girlie from ThunderClan with a penchant for dying, walked into the Dark Forest willingly with her friend Batear) Brings up whatever politics will piss you off the most, unless you have something food-related to talk about. Will die halfway through the night and be replaced by the cat of your choice. Every point of annoyance she wracks up will become a positive point when this happens. Any positive points she wracks up will remain, unchanged.

i Am so down to hear the clans lore dump that lore on me 👀
Thank you so much for enabling me I really appreciate it <3
Lichenclan are actually the stragglers of a former clan called Creekclan. There were a few clans living in the general area (Lichenclan's neighbors are Bayclan, Dancingclan, Waspclan, Thrushclan, and Dryclan) (I might delete one of those because that's so much), but none of them really bothered to interfere with each other as much. So when Creekclan's leader, Firstar, started receiving false visions from a Dark Forest cat, no one outside of her own clan noticed.
Firstar was convinced that it was Starclan speaking to her, and so she hung on every word she was told. She exiled the clan's sole healer, Olivetuft, after learning that she was expecting kits. She was convinced that Starclan wanted her to disband the clan, or else terrible things would happen. In the middle of the night, she called a clan meeting and declared that Creekclan would be no more. Firstar's mate and deputy, Eveningstorm, left with her. The remnants of Creekclan had no leadership.
Former clanmates went their separate ways, losing their sense of comradery when prey became hard to find and herbs became a limited resource. Many cats left the territories altogether to become rogues or kittypets, while some sought asylum in their neighboring clans.
Pinefoot was one of the warriors who refused to let go of the clan. He had an immature insistence that they could band together and sort out leadership on their own, but his former clanmates didn't share the same ideals, and he was chased out of any small group he found. He ended up just outside the twolegplace, where he met with his former clanmate Lichenheart, who had settled into life as a kittypet and was expecting kits of her own. His pathetic nature convinced Lichenheart to help him out.
While living with Lichenheart's twolegs, Pinefoot began to have visions of starry-furred cats in the yard outside, leading him in the direction of the woods. After a moon of this, Pinefoot told Lichenheart that he believed Starclan was trying to tell him something. With her litter just around the corner, Lichenheart was reluctant to leave, but she trusted Pinefoot.
The starry-furred cats led Pinefoot and Lichenheart to a pine forest, specifically to a sunken clearing surrounded by a natural protection of brambles and stones. Pinefoot believed that Starclan had showed the two of them a new camp where Creekclan could be reborn. The new camp was put to the test when, a few nights later, Lichenheart had a single kit. She named him Rushkit, her formal commitment to starting this new clan with Pinefoot.
Pinefoot believed that, although Starclan had showed him the camp, Lichenheart should be leader. She was more responsible than him, and had trained an apprentice in Creekclan. Lichenheart planned to travel to the Moongrove and receive her nine lives when she'd recovered from giving birth, but her condition continued to worsen, turning into greencough.
Pinefoot searched the territory for any cat that had healing skills. He stumbled upon the den of Olivetuft and her newborn daughter, Berry. He pleaded with her to come treat Lichenheart, but by the time they made it back to camp, Olivetuft knew there was nothing more she could do except make Lichenheart's last few days painless. She was the first cat buried in Lichenclan's graveyard.
Olivetuft and Pinefoot traveled to the Moongrove together to speak with Starclan. They gave Pinefoot nine lives and his new name, Pinestar, and entrusted him with the infancy of this new clan. He was officially a leader of something new - Pinestar, Olivetuft, Rushkit, and Berrykit. He named the clan Lichenclan, in honor of his friend.
Eventually, the rest of the founders wandered into Pinestar's life and stayed in the clan. I could get into all of their histories, but then this post would be even longer than it is, haha. But after all that....well, the rest is history!

Yeah Warrior cats does have a repeated thing for age gap romances doesn't it? I give leeway for Jayfeather/Half Moon and Hollyleaf/Fallen Leaves due to the time travel/ghost shenanigans. Thornclaw/Blossomheart is odd but she's a full adult when we see any interactions. Pinestar/Leopardfoot is probably the weirdest with him being an established leader when she's a kit.
But what I'm thinking about today is Brambleclaw/Squirrelflight. Putting aside the toxic tendencies and how the authors think they're writing a good relationship when the majority of the fanbase disagrees (for mostly valid reasons).
For context I decided to write a Squilf-centric fic and wanted to draw from specific scenes in arc 2. So I skimmed through Midnight and the first third of Starlight.
Now Warriors aging is already weird. Apprentices are coded as teens and quickly mature into warriors over the course of a few books (or just one in the case of Firepaw/heart in Into the Wild). And obviously teen characters have crushes and sometimes these crushes are older than them and in this series means apprentices flirting with older cats or getting together soon after they become warriors (ex: Dustpelt/Ferncloud, Brackenfur/Sorreltail, Tigerheart/Dovewing).
Some things I noticed while reading:
Brambleclaw is presented as a young moody warrior. Not newly named but clearly a young adult, so somewhere between 21-25. While Squirrelpaw is a young impulsive apprentice with strong bratty 15 year old vibes (possibly a generous guess as she could be read as younger).
when the clan notices they've disappeared, Cloudtail makes a joke about them running away and Squirrelpaw being a cute she-cat. Squirrelpaw, his teenage niece.
Both Brambleclaw and Stormfur (close in age to Bramble) make appreciative comments about Squirrelpaw that imply romantic attraction (the Feathertail/Crowpaw dynamic is also developing at the same time)
when Brambleclaw nearly drowns at the end, Squirrelpaw is distressed. attention is drawn to her reaction, implying romantic feelings have developed
skipping past Moonrise/Dawn as I didn't read them for the fic. I'm sure there's more Bramble/Squirrel scenes here. Not real clear on how much time passes between the start of Midnight to the events of Starlight
Starlight's Squirrelpaw is presented as an adult. She's gone from an immature teen to a cat worthy of a warrior name and one who has recently become officially romantic with Brambleclaw.
So yeah it's a bit weird, especially as someone intending to write Squirrel/Bramble as a caring/sometimes messy couple. It's not the worst thing in Warriors to write around (plenty of bigger worldbuilding issues that irk me) and I'm already doing an AU that sticks to the general plot but with genderswap and sapphic cats, so it's manageable. Still feels odd when I remember canon.

gonna do the warriors 20 questions thing just for fun woohoo!!! I did it a long time ago but my opinions have changed a lot since then and new blorbos have been gained
1. seri pixel biologist who i was really into as a kid did a sims 4 warrior cats challenge and thats how I first learned abt the existence of the books. when I looked it up I was super confused on who everyone was but it was still really interesting to me. eventually my school went on a field trip to the library where I picked up the first book of OOTS. I was confused asf cuz that was a horrible place to start reading but then I learned that it was the 1st book of the FOURTH arc. and I set out to find a guidebook and the first book of the first arc. the rest is history,,,
2. probably AVOS or TBC . or just the first one. I havent read the 2nd or 3rd arcs but I love the family drama that comes from them
3. lost stars
4. super edition is crowfeathers trail or crookedstars promise. I like way too many of the novellas to choose a favorite but pinestars choice and goosefeathers curse are up there. manga is a shadow in riverclan
5. shadowclan in AVOS
6. again I have way too many but briarlight, dovewing, longtail, brightheart, feathertail, and shadowsight hold a special place in my heart
7. thistleclaw
8. moonpaw
9. crookedstar, tallstar, or pinestar
10. darktail
11. shadowsight . mothwing got knocked out bc of her treatment of him im afraid. jayfeather is an honorable mention
12. ivypool
13. shockingly brokenstar? I feel like people don't appreciate kit to warrior him he was very interesting to me
14. snowfur is kinda like goldenflower jr to me
15. idgaf if they have to be canon moonpaw x the moonpool . objectum yuri has me acting unwise
16. squirrelflight and bramblestar. also sunbeam and nightheart sorry not sorry
17. jayfeather and briarlight I used to ship them tho
18. the ending of OOTS till this day I feel like that was the perfect ending to warrior cats and was so beautifully written but then they kept making more books
honorable mention is when violetpaw walked into that guy trying to kill darktail , and he went to kill her, and then darktail killed him, and needletail was shook as fuck after. I was staring at the book in horror for a min
19. briarlight was unnecessary and was one of the few deaths that made me cry
20. it wasn't really a fight scene but when violetpaw and twigpaw had to fight I was like damn

You know what?
I'm actually happy that Henry was mentioned in passing and never brought up again. He deserves to be obscure and not because I don't like him. I actually do love him to bites and wish he and Purdy met.
I am happy he's never brought up because this series is an absolute train-wreck and we were taught to hate kittypets and dislike anyone from the outside and love the clans despite glaring flaws.
Also, despite the clans being treated like a community, so many cats in the clans are like strangers to each other and don't have any form of connection and it's weird because they're all trying to survive and it's like, "Oh hey! You met Vineslash yet?" and they're all like, "Oh them uhh.. never talked to him outside of patrols and stuff."
Like I get it but also don't get it?
Also, I'm so excited to see Henry again from your sneak peek art!!!
I love your art and you give justice to the deserving and it's so goood!!!
Yeah I get that, as much as I would have loved more Henry stuff, I know that they'd only use him for more fatphobia. But it's funny you mention him and Purdy because I headcanon that they're brothers, Henry is the eldest brother and Purdy is the youngest brother. Not from the same litter though.
It's definitely odd that while they're viewed and treated as a community, they barely know each other. This is a fault of the writers of course, remember how much the deaths of characters impacted everybody in Arc 1 compared to TBC, remember how devastated FireHeart was when he sat next to a dying YellowFang and spent her last dying moments sitting by her and talking? You do? Good, now remember when RosePetal died and BristleFrost was just like "Oh no, RosePetal!" and didn't go beyond that. Do you notice the whiplash between the two comparisons? The Erins never write any meaningful relationships anymore and we're reminded of that anytime a character dies.
And it's so funny because when we see more into Twolegplace, they feel like more of a community than the clans do, cats actually know each other, they have pasts with each other, cats have reputations good or bad. Even with Warriorclan, you feel that great sense of community. Bone actually knew Boulder beforehand, most cats still knew about each other in Bloodclan. It's ironic that the biggest senses of community we get in Warriors are from groups of cats that are both not even real clans and have either brief appearances (Warriorclan) or an entirely antagonistic role in whatever story the Erins want to write (Bloodclan). The Twolegplaces we briefly see have more community than the clans ever had, which is sad because the entire series centers around the clans.
Also thank you so much! Henry is a major insignificant favorite of mine and I wanted so badly to integrate him into PineStar's Choice. I wish that book was a SE instead of a Novella because I would have loved to see more stuff in Chelford, we could have gotten a Henry appearance, we were robbed. Henry and Pine have a close bond with each other in the rewrite, and it's funny because it started out not the best. Basically, PinePaw scented a Kittypet and when he found the source of the scent, it was Henry who had caught a robin. PinePaw was furious and chased him out of the forest. Later on they meet again and Henry goes "Oh wait, I know you! You chased me out of the forest over a robin, haha!" and PinePaw's sitting there sweating nervously. Henry apologizes for taking the clan's food because he didn't realize it wasn't good to do that but PinePaw splutters out that Henry shouldn't be apologizing, and he says sorry to Henry. PinePaw, well, to say the least, feels really bad about that whole thing. But they grow closer nonetheless! If making art of insignificant Kittypets was a job I'd be rich, thank you so much again dude, I appreciate it!

The Cats of ThunderClan (BP) - Sablefoot
Name: Sablefoot
Other Names: N/A
Meaning: Brown Furred and Agile
Identity: Mascflux - He/Him, She/Her, They/Them
Orientation: Pansexual
Rank: Guard
Former Rank(s):
A deep chocolate brown tom with a long tail and dark brown eyes. With a stocky, powerful build; Sablefoot has the truest ThunderClan builds. He’s heavily muscled - well suited for his position as a guard - with somewhat short legs. He’s longer than he is tall which he uses to his advantage slipping through the branches and bracken of the forest. Privately, Sablefoot thinks that he has WindClan heritage - he’s seen the tunnelers at Gatherings and how they differ from traditional runners and he thinks he might not be far off. He’s even overheard a few warriors whispering about Fourtrees trysts but as his mother had always claimed to be hunting and had prey to show for it, nothing was ever done about it.
He was rather pleased when Pinestar assigned him Wildpaw as an apprentice. Despite their name, he found that Wildpaw was actually very easy to manage once you understood them. Their foreign outlook on the world due to being a loner-born kit who refuses to speak of their life out in the Rogue Lands occasionally caused some hiccups when they snuck off to celebrate loner holidays but once Sablefoot understood, they were able to work around it. They’re not exactly a cat of few words but rather a cat of meaningful words - something that Sablefoot appreciates as an honest soul himself. He thinks his apprentice is a breath of fresh-air for the clan and he though he’s sad for whatever happened that led to them adn Cricketpaw appearing in their borders, he’s happy that he was given the opportunity to know her.
Sablefoot is deeply in love with his apprenticehood crush; Juniperhaze and thoroughly enjoys spoiling her and treating her. He goes through great pains to retrieve enough juniper berries to stock the medic’s den in order to be able to spare some to put in the mouths of her favorite prey. He loves finding that no matter how early in migration season, he always finds swan feathers lining his nest as the air heats up and the occasional time he wakes up with her curled up next to him, their tails twined as they sleep. Sablefoot is about ready to make their mating official under the eyes of the Souls but he wants it to be the most special event that he can manage.

📔 📕 🍂?
📙: Favorite Graphic Novel?
WINDS OF CHAAAAAAAANGE. winds of change. winds of change.
winds of change might be the best story in all of warriors canon.
very fun witnessing how it took mudclaw, an almost entirely forgotten background antagonist, and made him a fan favorite INSTANTLY.
i could reiterate what other people have already said about it (it is beloved for a reason!!!) or i could just link you to the mudclaw as a Shakespearean tragic hero post. i think i am just going to do that. 😌❤️
honorable mention to the rise of scourge for COMMITTING to the manga-inspired art style. baby scourge my beloved ❤️
📕: Favorite Novella?
my long-time favorite novella is pinestar’s choice, although i haven’t revisited it in a while… i appreciate it as a mirror to into the wild. into the wild shows you everything about clan society would that would appeal to a sheltered youngster like rusty (the autonomy, the “glory” of battle) while pinestar’s choice shows you how horrifying clan life would be from the perspective of the old man who is responsible for leading his troops to death 😀👍
pinestar leaving tigerkit in order to “protect” him (and shirk his responsibilities as leader 👀) only for his abandonment to fuel tigerstar’s rage is just soooo tasty… it harkens back to greek tragedy… the avoidance of prophecy just for it to come back and bite you in the ass. the gods starclan are cruel and vengeful!
when i first read it, pinestar going to live with shanty’s owners was a category five hysteria moment for me. AAUUUUGGHHHHHHHH
i also adore dovewing’s silence as an epilogue to omen of the stars/the great battle. so dreary! i like it when warriors goes dark, haha
🍂: Favorite non-Clan or Clan-esque group?
i wasn’t a fan of graystripe’s vow but warriorclan as a reference to the phenomenon of live action warrior cats role players is maybe the funniest thing the series has ever done… the META of it all!!!!!!

(Using Warriors prefixes for stand in real names because this is a warriors blog and murder cats have in fact taken over my life)
So the other day, I overheard the site supervisor talking about who will be running our new/old site because we need somewhere to direct the overflow with the school year starting soon, and they referred to my trainee as “The other Brindle”
Which made me really happy, because it shows that I’ve moved up enough to be considered an established figure in this program, and there was a time when I was referred to as “The other/new Willow”
I also found out that day that I’ll be staying at the current site I’m at for two days a week rather than returning to the old site where I started at, the counsellors here seem to like how I run the place and were actually worried that I’d be heading back to the other site now that it’s been reopened.
#brindle speaks#brindle at work#not warriors#i love feeling valued and appreciated#I'm not the best at organizing#but I've made both sites go basically paperless since I started#and THAT helps keep me organized#and where I lack in staying organized#I make up for in being able to give orders/directions#giving orders sounds weird#I'm great at delegating?#also good in a crisis#if things start getting crazy I'm good at damage control#but i am not someone a person could envision being in a place of authority until they've seen me do it#like yesterday I was painting my arms because I was bored#but today I'm running the health center#not two pictures people can put together#yeet#and to those who bothered to read the tags#can someone dm me a working link to he Pinestar's Choice pdf?#I have ideas#still working on my thing with Ravenpaw#but I have a one-shot idea#still working myself up to actually working on my aus#be brave me#no i say#but yeah#its almost done#might post it today if I can#yeet!

If Pinestar was the Mi of his kits, why didn’t he try to take any of them with him when he left? Like Brightsky keeping some of her litter. He knew how the clans were, he was specifically leaving to get away from it, why did he choose to leave his children behind?
It wasn't a choice. Brightsky gave birth in the home she bolted to; Pinestar wasn't going to be allowed to take his children unless he snuck out with them.
He wishes he did something, when he sees what became of his son. But he tried to be brave when he left, announcing that he would not be coming back, and where he would be going.
He thought that was the right thing to do. Unfortunately, no one else appreciated it the way he hoped they would.
If he DID though, ThunderClan would not have allowed that. They see it as kidnapping. Being Mi doesn't mean you're allowed to do literally anything you want, especially if you do have a Ba involved.
In cases of handoffs (surrogacy, secret halfclan kits being given to their other parent, etc) it's actually SUPER important you do it before 1 moon, so you can pass the disappearance off as a fading kit. There are no funerals thrown for fading kits besides the Mi and any Ba quietly burying the body, so this is the time where you smuggle the baby out.
So you need all the Ba on board with such a handoff, in addition. Cloudtail is an example of that actually! When Brightheart surrogates, he is fully aware of how many are ACTUALLY faders and who is receiving their child.
Tigerkit was like 3-ish moons when Pinestar hit da bricks, unfortunately there wasn't a way he could take him along... plus it wouldn't quite make sense with how he was having nightmares about murdering his son.
#Tiger remembers his father#Not super well but. He does remember him.#I think it hurts him when he realizes he's doing something for his own kits that come from those warm early memories#Like the lullabies. Pinestar liked to sing for him. He remembers how good it felt to be cuddled into a warm chest#And feel how a song can bloom into a purr#ALSO I am still thinking about the Bright surrogates btw#I just hit a snag because I realized that a big problem in shadow and wind is--#--the lack of parents to take such kits#Because my rules against incest apply completely equally to adopted kids too#So it wouldn't actually help if they were adopted vs biokits if the tree is still a tumbleweed#Does that make sense?#So the Bright surrogates aren't actually there to help me with the tree. It's that I want to do it for the character reasons#Because it really shows how approachable and connected Bright and Cloud are#And how respected and loved they are even outside their own Clan#But yeah if you've been waiting on that detail that's where Im currently at lmao#But theyre gonna come up in Wind and Shadow eventually#And im thinking about giving those cut thunderclan warriors as grandkids in other clans too#Clan culture#Pinestar’s Crusade

I fucking love Pinestar and wished he honestly got more chances to actually being able to interact with his son. Like Starclan brining on the fuck his kid needed to die and shit needed to brought up more.
YESSSSS pinestar appreciation!! he gets so much shit from the clans and the fandom, but in reality he made the best choice possible for someone in his situation. I do feel for leopardfoot, and him leaving was incredibly hard for her, but given that his other options were telling her about the prophecy and leaving tigerkit all alone or literally killing their son, he made the most merciful choice he possibly could. starclan gave him the ultimatum: kill your son or the blood he sheds will be on your paws. and pinestar called them out and was like guys that is so fucked up and i’m sick of your shit and i choose neither!! and honestly, pinestar was right up there with goosefeather when it comes to being ahead of his time on the hot takes about the clans and starclan! like yes, him leaving put a lot of cats under pressure, but his decision was pretty damn reasonable. he was one of the first cats to recognize that clan life had become centered around bloodshed, pride and needless competition for the sake of elitism, and he spent 8 of his lives stuck in this cycle where cats die just to prove a point. having lived multiple lives, he caught onto this grim, hopeless pattern and when he realized that the clans were toxically biased, he said screw it and started spending time with the kittypets they shamed. he spent 8 lives trying to be a kind, empathetic leader and he discovered that it just wasn’t possible; being a warrior would always demand that you spill blood and he had to learn that the hard way until he admitted that in order to be passive he had to give up being a warrior altogether. he loved his clanmates, but he no longer saw any honor in being a warrior and thus he stopped caring about them judging him for wanting to leave. he was honestly big brained af, and one of my favorite bits of his novella was when he was leaving and predicted that the clan leaders would add a new rule to the code that shunned any warrior who left clan life to become a kittypet, and he was exactly right!! he had broken down the system entirely, whereas other cats are just starting to do that in recent arcs!

I have another confession, yes. This one is how much Leopardfoot is under appreciated. Ok, Leopardfoot, my sun, my love, my stars. My precious kitty cat. Leopardfoot was a great mom and it’s not her fault that Tigerstar ended that way. I really like to see that mini comic of Tigerstar and Hawkfrost meeting Tadpole, Sasha, Leopardfoot, Mistkit, and Nightkit. It was really nice to see Leopardfoot be like, talking to him like he was a kit. Using the word troublemaker, or calling him a little tiger. It’s adorable. Leopardfoot lost her mate, who quit to be as kittypet (I still love Pinestar) she lost her kits, Mistkit and Nightkit. Her only surviving kit was corrupted and murdered the innocent out of plain selfishness and revenge. Really, Leopardfoot deserved better.

For the wc ask thing:
🌲 Pinestar’s Choice
I've always been rly partial to aus where Pinestar takes Tigerkit with him. For that to work he just kind of kidnaps him, tells Sunfall he's leaving, and books it lmao. Tiger probably gets some tree name to match the theme. Oak could be a fun choice.
Anyways, later on, Tiger becomes like a father figure to Rusty. When he leaves to join the clans, tiger joins him to keep an eye on him. I imagine he heard some stories of the forest from pine, but he doesn't rly remember his time there.
Other cats remember him tho, and that gives the both of them some credibility when they join the clan. For the au ig Redtail would still be alive. Ravenpaw would also have different mentor. Oo maybe Spottedleaf. I always liked the idea of medcat ravenpaw.
Tiger becomes an apprentice too, even those he's an adult. He looks after Firepaw, and calls Sandpaw and Dustpaw out on their bullying.
I like to think Tiger would get the suffix foot after his mom. Maybe he still goes evil in the au or something. Could be really dramatic having Fireheart/star fighting his father figure. Especially in the df battle.
Scourge probably wouldn't exist since Tigerpaw wasn't there to beat him up lmao. Redtail wouldn't die, but maybe he could later like Whitestorm. Ravenpaw probably wouldn't leave, but he'd be a medcat. First appreciated by Spottedleaf, and then Yellowfang. Brokenstar would probably be the main bad guy. Redtail and Tiger get to be besties cause why not.
