PIDW au where instead of Shen Jiu abusing Luo Binghe, he isn't exactly nice to him, but almost reluctantly takes him under his wing and teaches him how cruel the world is and how the people you trust most will end up letting you down. He doesn't give him the fake cultivation manual and Binghe never has to sleep in the woodshed.

Well Shen Jiu never ends up letting Binghe down in Bingge's eyes so he becomes 100% loyal to his Shizun and is the only person he trusts.

When the immortal alliance conference rolls around, we get a similar scenario to scum villain in that Binghe is begging Shen Jiu not to make him go into the abyss and says something about how Shizun is the only person he has trusted besides his mother. (I also believe that Shen Jiu wasn't positive, but had an idea about Binghe being a half demon)

She Jiu has the realisation that if he pushes Binghe in, he will be just as bad as all the people that abandoned him. So instead he jumps down with Binghe.

They spend the time in the endless abyss fighting off demons obviously. But Binghe talks about his life pre Cang Qiong whether Shen Jiu wants to hear what he's saying or not. So it slowly dawns on him that Luo Binghe and himself are not so different. He also notices how fucking strong and powerful Binghe is becoming.

By the time Binghe has claimed Xin Mo, Shen Jiu has decided that he will stick with Binghe and dedicate himself to being his right hand man and counselor as he takes over the demon realm since the sect never felt like home and all his martial brothers and sisters hated him.

Luo Binghe and Shen Jiu end up becoming a terrifying duo. No one knows for sure if they are just master and disciple, lovers, ect, but they are scary as fuck together. Binghe still takes over Hua Huan because he eventually finds out what happened to his birth parents, Shen Jiu is never put in the water prison, and finally when it comes to Cang Qiong, Shen Jiu doesnt give a single fuck and tells Binghe he can do as he pleases with it.

Luo Binghe meets with all the peak Lord's and he pretty much tells them he's willing to leave them be as long as they don't fuck with him or Shen Jiu. They don't believe that Shen Jiu is with Binghe willingly so they get invited back to Hua Huan Palace to see for themselves.

When they arrive, Shen Jiu is seated on a throne that is equal in size and on the same level of the dias as Binghe's. Shen Jiu is not happy that they all showed up even though he expected it, and he essentially tells them all he is happier than he has ever been and they can all fuck off back to their mountain and leave him be and he stands up and turns to walk out of the room leaving them all standing with Binghe.

Binghe laughs at them all as he says "I told you so"

That's all I got so far. I just think OG LBH and Shen Jiu would have been such a freaking power couple, whether platonic or not, if Shen Jiu hadn't abused Binghe.

YQY comes to visit! The ghosts have varying opinion on this, PIDW!SQQ is overjoyed to be able to look at the man who risked his life for him, Shen Jiu hates him even more then before, and Shen Yuan just wants chaos!!

Non transmitigation au where Shen Yuan auditions for a part in PIDW on a lark when it gets a live action adaptation, not thinking he’ll actually get a part (he just wanted to be able to say he did it okay? He was dated okay??! He was not dared he just thought it’d be neat, but he’ll admit to nothing.) and, much to his horror, ends up cast as Shen Qingqiu.

He somehow accidentally makes Shen Qingqiu so likable that he’s the most popular character. The fandom goes feral over him. He becomes famous. New fans are joining the bandwagon in droves to watch him.

And all the while, Shen Yuan is frantically trying to pretend he isn’t the most notorious anti fan troll to clown on the internet. He has never heard of PIDW before what do you mean Peerless Cucumber whomst?

Okay, so female birds are not so colorful to blend into the background (so predators can't spot it so easily). Shen Jiu is dressed in green white beige colors, check.

Shen Jiu can fly, check!

Shen Jiu... spots a crane while flying on his sword and does a few sword maneuvers to get closer to the crane (you know, to study the bird a bit better so he can paint it later) accidentally engages the crane in a mating dance... which Shen Yuan the crane accepts!

Shen Yuan the crane is in fact kind of shy that this female bird initiated the offer, but oh man look at this female crane's stunning long black feathers! Truly one of a kind! And look, this female crane has a bunch of baby cranes following behind - clearly her mate is dead else this female crane wouldn't go do a mating dance for Shen Yuan. Shen Yuan is more than happy to be stepfather crane to this little babies!

Unfortunately for Shen Yuan, his bird brain is more in control of all his decision making until he's found himself living on Cang Qiong with his "mate", the Qing Jing peak lord Shen Qingqiu, for a few years "raising" the "baby cranes" together when his human brain goes online and realizes, oh shit, he was a human in his past life and this is the scum villain!

And their youngest "chick" that he keeps trying to preen right now for having such "unruly" curly feathers is none other than the protagonist!

i need a fic where SJ wakes up in SY's body in the hospital and gets spoiled by SY's family bc they think their sickly child/brother almost died (he did die, but SJ doesn't have the courage to say it so he decides to live as SY) and as time goes on he opens up to his family little by little and they get even more protective bc they notice SJ's hesitation towards men and think something happened to SY while he lived alone and then try to get him to go to therapy (SJ does NOT want to go but SY's meimei can be really persuasive if she wants to...)

he does have a system, but it didn't show itself after introducing and explaining what was going on. the only mission ever given to him was 'heal your body! both mentally and physically (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)!!'

time travel au where a post-pidw shen qingqiu somehow travels back in time (either through death, the magic that still remains in yqy’s sword, etc.) to when he was the head disciple of qing jing peak.

of course, being able to travel back in time doesn’t come without a heavy price and in this case, shen qingqiu ends up having to give up the ability to feel emotions as an equivalent exchange to being brought back to the past.

shen qingqiu of course thinks this is the greatest gift that he’s ever been given and quickly moves on with his life. everyone else (read: yue qingyuan, liu qingge, etc.) on the other hand, is appropriately freaked out by this new version of shen qingqiu who just doesn’t seem to care anymore about anything or anyone.

I see so many things where like SY is the sweet innocent one who shows SJ how to love and be loved and fixes him blah blah blah. But oh come on now, this is Peerless Cucumber we're talking about. Number one hater extraordinaire. He is so bitchy. He would not fix SJ if anything he would make him worse.

I need more content that's just SY and SJ standing with their twin fans unfolded, viciously tearing their opponents (the other peak lords) apart with their barbed insults. Once all three of them get their own bodies Shen Yuan is excited he can finally go save his disciple, since he couldn’t when they all shared a body. PIDW Shen Jiu stops him, trapping him in Qing Jing with qi barriers. He’s doing it to protect SY, but SY doesn’t understand how powerful the original Luo Binghe is, he doesn’t understand the torment that PIDW SJ suffered at his hands. PIDW SJ doesn’t want SY to make the same mistake his YQY made, trying to save someone who just can’t be rescued.

Liu Qingge comes back to find out that everyone believes Shen Qingqiu murdered him and he’s offended that anyone would think Shen Qingqiu could beat him in a fight. And, as Liu Qingge bitches people out for believing such a ridiculous tale, Shen Qingqiu is off to the side muttering about how he “could absolutely kill that brute if he wanted to.” Liu Qingge turns to him exasperated, grumpy, and annoyed and snaps, “You couldn’t even stop me from killing myself.”

bingdi wasn’t supposed to have a harem. he was supposed to end up alone. like yeah he’d bang when he wanted to but no wives. shen jiu was supposed to have a fleshed out back story. the entire thing was supposed to be deeper and darker.

let’s drop shen yuan into the mix (as per usual) and see what happens. i personally think he’d be a wandering cultivator and shen jiu’s little brother. that adds to his og fleshed-out backstory. ofc he’s gonna meet airplane (platonic soulmates in the worst way possible) and he’s gonna wifebeam bingdi into submission

i just think it would be fun and new and interesting to drop him into THIS universe because i’ve never seen anyone use the draft as a setting. it’s just so fun to think of a non-bingmei binghe not occupied with wives. wtf is that guy doing? i wanna know.
