I enjoy how long it took Armand to be willing to fully open his eyes to talk to Daniel. We start with Armand fully absorbed in Louis feeding off of him:

Then Daniel says "Oh, here's a good one," in reference to Claudia's kill list. Armand very slightly opens his eyes out of vague interest:

Then, as soon as he hears what it is, his eyes slide shut again, like he's not interested in doing much other than focusing on Louis' teeth in his neck:

Daniel says in horror that it's a kill list, and Armand, amused, says yes(in the most blissed out tone EVER), eyes only slightly open:

Daniel talks, in a "this is so wrong" tone about the fact that the list is in a teenager's handwriting. Armand, still amused by the kill list and Daniel's horror, opens his eyes slightly more:

Then Daniel says that it's super fucked up. Armand gets pissed off at that, given the fact that Daniel is doing an interview which will result in Louis' life being in danger, so his eyes open fully:

Idk, I just enjoy the clear reluctance to do anything but relish the sensation of Louis drinking from him, and the only thing that fully brings Armand around is his protectiveness of Louis.

It's spooky season and I'm also a Star Trek nerd and a list nerd, so here we go!

I asked in a Star Trek discord, ran a bunch of searches, and assigned a point each time an episode was listed among the scariest/creepiest in Star Trek. The episodes are ranked from least to most spooky, so watch in this order if you want to build up to the spookiest stuff. I cut off the list at 31, one episode for each day in October.

honestly, contrary to Midnight Mass, The Usher House keeps only getting better and better. i absolutely LOVE it so far.

it was pretty obvious that she killed her gf by the door, but i'm more intrigued that Roderick CAN feel the chirping. like, every single one of the kids heard other sounds, but he suddenly can hear what she hears? okay, but even if that's in her apartment, that explains Roderick hearing it, but not her hearing it EVERYWHERE? i mean, the entity, sure, but still.

oh, and I guess she can possess them? "i wish you just jumped, then i wouldn't have to do this." who IS she. it's 1 am and how do i go to sleep after that lol. but yeah, there's too much to watch to keep binging. i guess i'll finish tomorrow (and maybe then i can come back to my fic).

Honestly, I think people thought DK were going to have sex in 4x08 because of those BTS motel pics. Since there have been so many parallels from S1 many assumed it meant that DK were going to revisit their time in the motel from 1x05. Ironically, they did, but not in the manner some people thought 😂 😂 😂 After watching the episode, I looked at the motel scene as a parallel of DK and TimBer (the A and B plot lines). Lots of the disappointment that is coming out of the fandom is to quote Kory in 4x08 “self-induced” because people are relying on their wants/desires/expectations for the show instead of just watching and enjoying it.

Oh okay. I never assumed anything about the pics of the motel so I just had no expectations. But I do think 408 did a lot to shut up the people who said what Dick had with Kory was just a fling. We find out that no actually he wasn't just blowing off steam and no he didn't think less of her. After they had sex he was thinking about how much he wanted to tell her he loved her.

So because they made even that scene soft and romantic I think the next time they kiss will be just as soft and romantic. And if they have another sex scene it'll be a love scene instead of another sex scene.

I don't have any reason to believe none of that will happen because they didn't have sex in a motel again LOL.

But yeah I'm enjoying myself and I think most people are even if they wont say it because it's not the popular thing to say.
