Wren snugly burrows herself into the pocket. Her tiny ears pricking up at the rustling folds of fabric and the loose threads swaying with each of Theo's steps, detecting the distant and muffled giggling pear followed by a creaking doorframe.

As soon Theo steps through the portrait, Wren's twitching nose is suddenly invaded by all too many familiar scents all at once, amplified by her acute bunny nostrils; she can smell everything, some more potent than others. The rust from the piling pots and pans; barrels of meats braised in wine sauce; potatoes boiled, mashed and roasted; gateaus and éclair dipped in bitter chocolate; pudding, hints of peppermint - all of which did more than awaken just a few of her culinary cravings.

Through a small opening of the massive cloak shielding her, Wren chances a peek by poking her tiny fuzzy head out just a little to catch glimpses of rows of tables and barrels passing by. Desserts, snacks and delicacies stacked together akin to a mountain face. Wren can only gawk at the sheer size as they pass by, her fluffy white belly grumbling in yearning.

Yet the kitchen is not without its hazards, with Wren scurrying back inside the cosy pocket each time she spots a house elf wielding a butcher knife, glimmering in the lowlight as he swings it down, the table rattling with the sheer force. After that she resorts to poking her wiggling nose, catching a whiff before slowing worming her fuzzy head out again.

Then finally, she sees them: a blasphemous amount of carrots, waiting to be devoured.

She stretches out to gently paw at Theo’s chin, emitting excited squeaks as if to say “make haste, my friend! Our feast awaits!”

Wren has no idea how she wounds up in the Hufflepuff common room, but at this point she can’t bring herself to care. Surely , there has to be someone who can turn her back?

She sees a familiar face, and makes a bound for you. As quickly as her tiny legs can take her.

You’re lounging with a book in hand on the edge of a bed when a pair of small paws tug at your legs, climb onto your lap and marches over on the textbook.

Wren now has your attention, and tries to speak. Predictably she only manages a string of distressed chirps.

Theo hears a little pitter patter of small feet before suddenly there is a black flustered floof in her lap atop where her textbook rests, and her eyes widen in immediate love. The little EARS. The little NOSE. The new guest has triggered her cute aggression to new levels. 

“Oh, look at you!” She immediately scoops the dark fluff into her arms, her heart catches at this unexpected visitor, but not before the serious of determined chirps in her direction cause her to nod her head slowly in attempted understanding. 

“You poor little thing, did you get lost?” She gently cusps the little fluff in both of her palms, before giving the little bunny's nose a quick nuzzle. “It’s okay I’ve got you.” She raises the black bunny to her eye level. She studies the rabbit for a moment. Something about its resemblance is uncanny to….Theo squeaks in delight.

“Wren?!” 

She giggles as she brings Bunny Wren into her neck to forcibly cuddle her further in this wonderful revelation.

"I'm guessing you need help getting turned back? Don't worry. I'm here to the rescue! But in exchange, I will be expecting to hear the story of how you got into this delightful mess."

She pulls out her wand, knowing she is sometimes shite at transfiguration, but with concentration, and Bunny Wren in distress, she focuses her words and the wave of her wand.

"Lepus Vicissim"

Uh... So I drew some Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack fan art ⚓

The creator if this great cartoon once said that Flapjack becomes a great adventurer by finding everything EXCEPT Candy Island, so I decided to draw Captain Flapjack.

(look under the cut if you want the headcanon lore and see why Sally Syrup is here too lmao)

My personal thought is that of course he has all these wonderful adventures but he's a hometown hero, and I think Flapjack being the great lil dude he is probably payed back all the candy he mooched off of Peppermint Larry. He comes home mostly to visit everyone, or Bubbie more specifically. Sally is here,, because I wanted her to be lmao.

Mayyybe... Flapjack got an invitation to her wedding which happened to be a last ditch effort for Sally to get out of an arranged marriage her evil Inventor uncle set up with Worthington's family so he could be rich, after having murdered his brother the Professor. Captain Flapjack finds all of this out and rescues her and offers to take her on all of his adventures as his First Mate. (In the air of course.) She hasn't changed much since they were kids, except maybe she reminds Flapjack of K'nuckles a little bit more.

Captain K'nuckles is probably long dead, which is how Flapjack got his hat and the necklace he wears under his shirt. The pendant is the right hand of Captain K'nuckles and in its grasp contains the last piece of candy he was found with, it's being saved for when Captain Flapjack meets his end.

Sorry the quality of this scar is garbage drew it in about 5 minutes on my break.  I am at work with a crappy mouse and no mouse pad working on a bumpy ass shellacked desk. The gif took longer then the actual scar...

Also I am a self taught PS user so maybe take my knowledge with a grain of salt, everything I learnt by messing around until something worked lol.

First off I paint a rough scar using a variety of light and dark colours to get some nice dimension. Then I apply a high pass to that sketch, then amend the layer to soft light and/or overlay to start. Then I start to building the scar by duplicating my high pass layer or by painting. I use a low opacity for my brush usually <30% and a soft round brush. Most of my layers are soft light or overlays and then I just keep building till I am happy. This will work for all games you can mod or just for your regular paintings.

HOW TO ACCURATELY RESIZE GIFS 

i’m going to take you from this:

to this: 

so we’re going to go over a few different methods here but i think it is first important to talk about gif dimensions. width is really what matters here SO for one column you’ll want 540px. for two columns you’ll want 268px. and for three its a little more annoying. your side gifs should be 177px and the middle should 178px. tumblr sometimes changes these though because it really hates us. but anyway moving on. for this tutorial i’m going to use 268x135.

i’m gonna be honest it really stands out when a gif is squished or stretched. luckily its a very easy fix. so i imagine what is going wrong is you’re going to image > image size and just typing in whatever size you want. so the first thing is when you go to image size you always have this selected. so that it automatically generates the accurate proportionate height when you put in the width. 

all you have to do is click on it. now once you do you’ll want to type in whatever width you decided you want your gifset to be. so in this case 268px. HOWEVER, you’ll notice that this doesn’t give me the height i wanted. you’ll see below that it still looks fine but for the sake of this tutorial i’m going to show you how yo get the correct height you want for your gifset as well.

at this point there are two different things you can do. i’m going to go ahead and hit ok in order to show you the first. this is not the method i would usually use but i’ll show you anyway so you can find what you prefer. we’re going to go to image > canvas size and this will pull up. 

so what canvas size does is basically shrink the canvas size without shrinking the image but it’ll crop out parts of it. by using the anchor arrows you can decide where it crops in to some extent (experiment as you wish) but you really don’t know what its going to look like until you do it. so i’ll go ahead and change the height to 135px and hit ok. it’ll give you something like this. 

again. it’s not squished or anything which is good and in this case it looks fine. it didn’t crop out anything too horribly. but personally i like a little more control over what gets cropped. so i’m just going to undo a couple times, to before i did anything to the image. so like i said this is what i prefer but you should do what you prefer. 

so the first thing we’re going to do is use the cropping tool which i’ve highlighted below just in case you don’t know where it is. 

and then i’m just going to put in the ratio i want. which like i said is 268x135

click onto your image and this little grid will pop up 

now you can use your mouse to adjust it now you like. i think it looks fine above but just to give you an example i’ve adjusted it to this: 

so everything outside of that grid is what will be cropped out. once you’ve got it how you want it just hit enter and it’ll crop and leave you with this:

so while that gave me the ratio i want, i still have to resize it. so we’re going to go back to image > image size. and this time when we type in 268px for the width you’ll see it immediately generates the height that i wanted. 

hit okay. and then do whatever finishing touches you do for your gifs. since this is just for a tutorial i’m just going to slap on one of my old psds. 

and this is our finished product!
