You ever notice that people don’t say the beginning of their sentences anymore? Really interesting stuff. Probably due to social media. Just trimming the unnecessary words. Saves time. 10/10.

New definition of art has just dropped that should satisfy everybody: if it's in an art gallery, it's art. Works currently on display in art galleries? Art. Works not on display in art galleries? Not art. Chairs, carpets, light fittings etc in art galleries? Art. People inside are galleries? Art. Everything outside art galleries? Not art. This is predicted to cause no problems and upset nobody. In a related update everything currently inside a restaurant has been categorised as 'food' so watch out.

happy butch appreciation day to all my fellow butches!
when I was teaching an art class I had one of the kids I was teaching come up to me and ask if I was an adult tomboy and then proceeded to tell me about her friend who is also a tomboy and I thought that was quite possible the cutest thing a kid ever said to me and also describes my gender pretty well since kids don’t tend to know about butch as an identity

People might bring up Vincent van Gogh as an example of a painter who did great work in spite of, or because of, his suffering. I like to think that van Gogh would have been even more prolific and even greater if he wasn't so restricted by the things tormenting him. I don't think it was pain that made him so great, I think painting brought him whatever happiness he had.

at some point in your life you will be boiling fruit, water, sugar, and lemon juice in a pot to make a syrup or jam. the instructions will tell you to simmer for a certain amt of time. your timer will go off and you will look at the pot and go, "hm, this doesn't look thick enough. maybe i'll let it go for another 10 minutes." this is the devil speaking. it's only so liquid right now because it is at boiling point. it will thicken when it cools down. learn from the follies of my youth and do not let this happen to you

No. 21 Monito del Monte Dromiciops sp.
Found in highland forests in Chile and Argentina.
The only member of the marsupial order Microbiotheria.
Despite living in South America, the monito del monte belongs to the Australodelphia – the superorder containing all Australasian marsupials. It’s thought the monito del monte diverged from the other Australodelphia just before the single dispersal event that resulted in the vast array of Australasian marsupial diversity today.
