Earlier today I asked if anyone had created prompts for what I remembered as #phantober - and both @hoodiestrings and @dnpstardust delivered! Since they both had separate lists I decided to try and join the prompts in one drawing :) I didn't have a lot of time today, so it's a very rough sketch, but it was fun, so thanks a lot! (edit: just saw @hoodiestrings suggest using #phoctober so tagging that as well!)

Angel/Demon

Welcome in day 3:

3. Angel/Demon

"An odd child, isn't he?" A demon asked, watching Danny fighting Skulker from a far.

"I suppose." An Angel next to them added. "A boy stuck between both the living and dead."

The two figures watched Danny as he bantered with Skulker, throwing punches and dodging attacks.

"What will happen to him once he fully dies" The demon questioned, looking at the Angel. "Or do you know?"

"I wouldn't know." The Angel truthfully answered, with a half-hearted shrug.

"Would his soul move on?" The demon continued, ignoring the Angel's response. "And where his spirit would go?"

"Where his spirit will go?" The Angel echoed, looking at the demon.

"Indeed." The Demon answered. "Heaven or hell."

"The boy is too young to determine that yet." The Angel argued, turning back to watch Danny fighting Skulker. "Even then so, it's likely he'll just become a full ghost, I mean it's rare to see a spirit actually move beyond."

"Correct, but where do you think his spirit will go if it could go that far?" The Demon acknowledged.

"I can’t say." The Angel replied, sounding increasingly frustrated. "I don’t know enough about him to say."

"Neither do I, but that won't stop me from guessing." The Demon interjected. "I would say Heaven."

"You would say?" The Angel challenged.

"He's considered a hero, correct?" The Demon asked.

"Just because he's a hero doesn't mean he has a definite ticket to Heaven." The Angel informed. "Adolf Hitler was seen as a hero by some, and as you know, he's deep in hell."

"That’s Hitler, a different subject." The Demon responded. "That boy actually has morals, Hitler did not."

"True." The Angel agreed. "Yet we can't determine anything off of morality. It's just a concept."

"It’s different for all." The Demon added, watching Danny gain the upper hand, catching Skulker in the Fenton Thermos.

Danny raised his hands in triumph, then flew off, completely oblivious to the figures watching him.

"Morals mean nothing." The Angel finally concluded, it's form beginning to disappear.

"I reckon it is." The Demon sighed, flames surrounding its body, disappearing into the fire, ending the conversation.
