On today's episode of Modern Househusbands (pffft), your faves and fatherhood:
Price - He figures he already has kids what with the way the boys (and his furbabies) constantly try his patience and make him proud at the same time so he's the Peepaw (as always) and you and Laswell are the Meemaws. As babies, they loved to pull his beard. Price also trimmed it once and it scared the grandkids (and Soap and you) so bad that he's forbidden from doing it again.
Gaz - If "It's What She Deserves" was a person, his kid would be it. The one who gives an immediate vibe-check. Such a sweetheart unless folks try them. If someone goes low with them, they go to hell. Gaz wonders where his little one gets it from (which earns him a HUGE side-eye from you). You and Gaz have had plenty of talks with teachers and you've had to tell your child to tone it down more than once. You two have also admitted in private that nine times out of ten, they're usually right on the money about these same people, too. At least you know nothing will ever get past them.
Soap - Is the girl-dad of the group. You two have three rambunctious daughters who have their dad wrapped around their fingers. Soap is the one who won't stop talking about his children. Ever. Everyone knows about them before the girls even meet them. One is also named Simone in honor of Simon. He's the dad who has no problem being the princess during tea time, wearing tutus, being on the bottom of the pyramid, having his nails painted, and gossiping with his girls. Oh, and you're all just jealous because he looks absolutely fabulous whenever they put makeup on his face. 😏
Tumblr media
Ghost - The one-and-done dad. He has a son who's his carbon copy physically but is a jokester at heart and Simon loves it because he'd much rather his son be that than have his personality. His son absolutely loves to take the piss out of him though. You know the video of the boy laughing at his dad's accent? That's Simon's kid when he asks him to say pasta lmao. You're tickled each and every time and Simon can't help but be amused by it all.
Roach - Has the most adorable daughter who, as a baby, would only really sleep if she was on his chest. The dad who builds pillow forts in the living room for movie night. Thanks to her, he knows the entire theme song of The Backyardigans like the back of his hand. She always makes Roach promise her before every mission that when he comes home, you all will go out for ice cream.
Alex Keller - Has a pair of twins who love to hog your affection from their father, so you're in the center of this tug-of-war between Alex and the kids which makes him roll those big eyes of his. He can't help but be proud of his kids, though, because one stays getting intel and the other uses said intel to kick ass and take names. Yeah, they're pretty much unbeatable as a team. Alex's heart skips a beat every time he walks through the door and they greet him by tackle-hugging him.
Alejandro - The one who has the most kids due in part because he stays getting it in lmao. He loves his big family, though. Has both girls and boys. Alejo's kids expect him home at a decent hour and if he isn't, he's grounded. The dad who absolutely relishes in the hectic mornings because it's all the more reason for him to continue on and it grounds Alejandro the man.
Rudy - The mother hen. Has two kids, a girl and a boy, and you two ADORE them, okay? Rudy can't say no to them, especially when your daughter hits him with puppy dog eyes or your son flashes that beaming smile of his. He's also the one who wakes up at the ass-crack of dawn to make y'all's lunches because they love it when he makes cute little shapes out of the food. Is also the one who leaves cute little notes in your bags, too, especially when he knows he'll be gone overnight. Damn, aren't you glad you wifed him up? 🥹
Keegan - Has a son who he thought hated him as a baby because every time he saw him, the baby's eyes would get comically wide. Then it turned into the baby being captivated by his mask and his eyes and then it turned into him crying whenever he saw Keegan without his mask on. Now they're as thick as thieves and even still, Keegan can't help but be amazed that he has a family now.
König - Has the chonkiest of the chonks yet the baby manages to still look small in his arms. Turns him into a jungle gym as well. König is the dad who is simultaneously amazed by his kid and afraid that he's a horrible father, despite all evidence pointing to the contrary. He also makes it a point to put them in extracurricular activities so they're as well-rounded as possible, especially from a social perspective. Your child also believes they'll be taller than König if only for the explicit purpose of saying they're taller than him lmao.
Horangi - The brains to König's child's brawn. The one who sees and knows everything. Or something like that. The two stay making plans and getting into shit and just being rambunctious kids. Horangi is big on establishing a strong moral foundation for his little one and isn't keen on telling them about his past life at all. Horangi demonstrates his affection more through action than anything. Might be more willing to divulge the truth when they're older but for right now, it's best left unsaid. Whereas König encourages their children's shenanigans, Horangi is more exasperated than not.
Graves - Two words: Boss Baby. His little CEO. While he's not above spoiling his kid, they've also gotta earn that one toy and/or game as well. They are charming in their own right and Graves is very hands-on as a parent, even when he's away. Especially when he's away. Makes it a point to keep his occupation hidden from them and, to your surprise, has expressed that he does NOT want them to follow in his footsteps. He's okay with being the snake if it means his child is protected.

Explosive Love: Part 5 – Sero & Denki: Bros vs Baby Bomb
Pairing: Kirishima x Fem!Reader
Featuring: Babysitters Hanta Sero & Denki Kaminari
Genre: Chaotic Comedy, Tag-Team Disaster
Summary: They called themselves the “Ultimate Babysitter Duo.” They wore matching shirts. They brought snacks. They were so sure they’d nail it. But the baby had other plans… and Denki forgot to bring nose plugs.
---
“I don’t see the problem,” Denki said confidently as he adjusted his “BABY DUTY” headband.
“Weve got this,” Sero agreed, tossing a roll of duct tape into the air and catching it like it was part of his combat gear. “Two pros. One baby. No fear.”
Kirishima opened the door, holding the baby like she was made of nitroglycerin.
“You guys sure you’re ready?” he asked for the tenth time.
“Dude,” Denki grinned, “we’ve babysat a cat before.”
“Yeah,” Sero added, “and that cat only pooped in Denki’s shoe once. So, like. We’re trained.”
You raised an eyebrow. “She’s... different.”
The baby gurgled sweetly.
FORESHADOWING INTENSIFIES
---
T+15 Minutes:
They were vibing. Music playing. Baby bouncing. Denki had given her a sparkly bow headband, and Sero was trying to teach her to high-five.
“This is easy,” Denki said, stretching out on the couch. “I think we’re naturally gifted.”
PFFFT.
The sound was small.
The smell was not.
Sero went still. “Was that… her?”
Denki waved his hand dramatically. “Whoa—why is it spicy?!”
The baby grinned and clapped. Like a tiny villain. A very proud one.
PHBRRRRTTTT.
Denki staggered back like he'd been shot. “THAT ONE HAD VIBRATION!!”
---
T+28 Minutes:
Denki was hiding behind the kitchen island.
“She’s targeting me,” he whispered into a banana, pretending it was a walkie-talkie.
Sero was kneeling on the couch with a blanket over his nose. “We’ve got gas, repeat, full gas zone! Operation Diaper Storm is a go!”
“Negative!” Denki cried. “I am NOT opening that containment zone!”
“YOU fed her the applesauce!”
“I didn’t know applesauce unlocked her final form!”
The baby squealed with laughter.
---
T+40 Minutes:
There was tape on the walls. Baby wipes scattered across the battlefield. Sero was trying to MacGyver a diaper disposal unit out of a trash can and a fan.
Denki was holding a candle like it was holy protection.
“She’s too powerful,” he muttered. “This baby runs on nuclear.”
“Not even All Might trained for this,” Sero whispered.
The baby let out a tiny, victorious toot.
Both men froze.
“Brace for impact.”
---
When you returned, you found Sero with clothespins on his nose and Denki wearing swimming goggles for no reason.
“She’s asleep,” Sero said weakly.
“But at what cost?” Denki added.
You scooped up your peacefully snoozing, deceptively innocent child.
Kirishima chuckled. “So… you guys wanna try again next week?”
They spoke in unison: “HELL. NO.”
---
Next up: Aizawa stops by to “observe.”

Redemption - Roronoa Zoro Imagine
Tumblr media
Pairing: Roronoa Zoro x Reader
Spoilers for One Piece (?)
A/N: This is Part 2 for Betrayal, another Zoro imagine I wrote, so if you haven't read that I'd recommend you do that first.
Summary: After (Y/N) confessed to the Straw Hat Pirates that during their two year separation, she betrayed her boyfriend Zoro and had a child back on the island she was stranded on, she had to leave the group. But once her new home was under attack she had no other choice but to once again hope for the crew's help. Will they forgive her?
Part 3
Requests are closed
************************************************************************
Fire... smoke... screams...
She could see the clouds of smoke from miles away. Once she set foot on the island the first things that greeted her weren't the familiar smell of the autumn leaves or the sound of the market place but rather the smell of the burnt down huts and the pleas of the townspeople. Ever since Whitebeard's death two years ago pirates from all over the world set sail in search of the One Piece. It was exactly like after Gol D. Roger's execution all over again. But her little island? This wasn't where the One Piece was hidden. What these pirates wanted was merely to destroy, to pillage and to artificially drive up their bounty...
"We would never do that", the young woman thought to herself, "all our bounties were racked up for far better reasons. Luffy would never allow this" (Y/N) was well aware, that she herself was part of a notorious pirate crew - or rather she had been part of one until recently...
The realization hurt but she didn't have time to keep thinking about her misery. All that mattered right now was the little boy for whom she had given up everything. As fast as her feet would carry her she ran towards the edge of the forrest where the little cabin that she called her home stood.
She breathed a sigh of relief once she arrived and saw that the destruction of the village had not yet reached that part of the island. But she didn't plan to just sit by and wait for that to happen. The people on the island she called her home weren't fighters. If they were lucky there were a few handymen that knew how to handle tools and heavy machinery but that was about it. She knew that she could never take on those pirates on her own - even if she improved her strenght greatly in the span of those last two years. But she knew who could...
************************************************************************
"Are you sure you're okay?", she whispered, not wanting to get caught by the other Straw Hats.
"Pffft.. Never felt better", the swordsman dismissed her worries with a movement of his hand and continued undressing the woman that was lying underneath him. Calloused hands roaming her body, trying to take in as much of her as he could.
"But - But you should rest...", it became increasingly harder to string together coherrent sentences with the way Zoro was kissing down her chest.
"If you insist", with a swift movement he flipped them around and in an instant the witch was now on top her green-haired boyfriend, straddling him firmly.
She started laughing, "You know, that's not what I meant"
Not many people knew Zoro the way (Y/N) knew him. The other Straw Hats would probably describe him as a 'matter of fact' - guy. His playful side wasn't something he kept hidden - not at all. It's just that the stupid jokes were only funny when they left her lips.
"Hey, Zoro. Dinner's ready", Sanji's words pulled the swordsman out of his thoughts. Every since (Y/N)'s confession nobody on the ship acted normal around him anymore - well nobody except Luffy and Robin. Luffy was never the most delicate, which Zoro was grateful for and Robin probably knew that he just wanted to move on. Nami however didn't leave him alone, offered to speak, to be a shoulder to cry on. He appreciated her good intentions but he just wanted to repress the feelings, exercise and drink his pain away. But the thing that annoyed him the most was that shitty cook being so nauseatingly nice to him. Nami told Sanji that she would raise him hell if he even dared to think to start a fight with Zoro. But what she had achieved, was that the only little thing that the swordsman had left of his (Y/N) was now gone too. He remembered how amusing she found the fights he and curly-brows had - so much so that Zoro tried to initiate fights with the cook. But Sanji never took the bait no matter how hard he had to pull himself together. If Nami-swan wanted something from him, he would not disappoint.
************************************************************************
There she was, it was barely a week and a half since (Y/N) left the Thousand Sunny back on Sabaody but yet it felt like a lifetime. The witch took a few deep breaths before slowly making her way over to the ship. She was grateful that Robin told her that the crew would have to make a stop for supplies an island over before heading to Fish-Man Island. On her way over there, she had hoped that she didn't miss them, that they'd still be there and all the hoping seemed to have payed off. But the hardest challenge - convincing her former friends to help her after everything she put them trough - still lay ahead of her.
Much to her dismay the whole group was not only on the ship when she arrived, they were also in the middle of dinner.
"(Y/N), you came back!", Luffy's voice broke the silence. The girl realized that he genuinely sounded happy to see her. She wasn't quite sure if she felt happy that there was at least one person left on this ship that didn't hate her or sad because she had to tell him yet again, that she still wasn't coming back.
But before she (Y/N) could even attempt to say anything, Nami spoke up, "No, Luffy. She's not. What are you doing here?"
Her voice was cold - so much in fact, that (Y/N) needed two attempts to explain the reason for why she was there. Once she finally ended her plea for help there were a solid few seconds where nobody said a word. (Y/N) had mostly spoken to Luffy as the captain of the ship but she knew that it was really the navigator that she would have to convince to help her. She kept her eyes firmly trained on the Straw Hat anticipating his decision. She, of course, noticed Zoro's presence in the room - how could she not? - but right now all that mattered was that the crew agreed to help.
"Please, I wouldn't ask if I had any other choice...", (Y/N) added quietly after a few more seconds of silence.
"Of course, I'm coming to save you, (Y/N)-chan~", Sanji was the first one to speak up in his sing song voice with hearts in his eyes. For him it wasn't even a question at all. All he saw was a damsel in distress and he'd be the knight in shining armour to come and save the day. He could already picture himself as the hero of the battle and all the ladies clinging on to him to show their gratitude. It was Usopp that had to break the flirtatious cook out of his ramble with a slap on the back of his head.
"What are we even debating about? Of course, we're helping, guys! She's one of us", Chopper agreed. The ship's doctor was always a loyal soul. Chopper and (Y/N) both were outsiders before they met the Straw Hats so she knew how important his nakama were to him.
"No, Chopper. That's exactly the case! She's not. Not anymore", Nami objected, "she should've thought about that before betraying the whole crew. We can't always drop everything just because a former acquaintance happens to have a problem"
Nami liked to say that she was only upset for Zoro - and she really was. She knew that the mosshead was utterly in love with the other woman. She could tell from the way he would loosen up around her, she could tell by the way he would look after her to make sure nothing and nobody would ever upset or hurt her, she could tell by the way he was slightly - only slightly - less annoying when he was around her but the truth was also that Nami was hurt for herself too. (Y/N) was her friend, the first girl that joined the group before Robin finally made them a trio. They had talked about their plans and then (Y/N) just chose the domestic life over everything they had dreamed of?
"And what will you do the next time you'll be in trouble? We won't always be around to save the day", the red-head now spoke directly to (Y/N).
"I promise, I won't ever bother you again, but you haven't seen what I've seen. I'm not asking for myself..."
Of course, she wasn't asking for selfish reasons. Zoro knew that. (Y/N) always chastised him for being so stubborn. But the swordsman knew that she was honestly none the better. If he ever told her that, she'd never admit it but it was the truth. And so he also knew that (Y/N) was far to proud to come and ask them for help so soon after leaving the crew - well, except if she had no other choice. But it didn't really matter anyways, if she was in danger or even just in any type of discomfort, he'd always come and save her.
Zoro had heard enough, "We're helping"
It was the first time that (Y/N) looked at him since she entered the ship. She looked like a scared deer with how wide her eyes were. It was clear to him that she didn't expect him to stand up for her at all. Did she really think that lowly of him? Why did that thought sting? If Nami was anything to go by, he should hate her and helping her should be the last thing on his mind but he just couldn't help his feelings. This time it was Zoro that couldn't stand the tension, so he tore his eyes away from his ex-lover.
"Zoro, are you-", Nami seemed unsure.
"Either we all go or I'll go alone, I'm done talking about this", and with those words the swordsman stood up from the table and left the room. When he passed (Y/N) on the way out, he had to side-step as to not bump into her but just that act alone was the closest he's been to her in a long time.
"Guess, it's settled then", Luffy laughed, "(Y/N) lead the way!"
************************************************************************
Zoro and (Y/N) were lying on the deck of the Sunny at the moment talking about anything and eveything. Usually the mosshead would have a afternoon nap but instead (Y/N) and him decided spend some time together soaking up the last sunrays of the day.
"Is there anything else you want out of life?", (Y/N) asked her boyfriend, who had his head comfortable rested on her lap.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean... other than becoming the world's greatest swordsman?"
"No, why would I?"
"Well, you made that promise to a friend when you were a child. You're a man now. Isn't there anyhting else that you could wish for? In addition to being the best? I mean what happens once you reach your goal?"
Zoro was quiet for a moment, it was clear to (Y/N) that her lover had truly never ever considered there possibly being more.
"Well, what about you then?", he positioned himself so that he was now looking up at her.
"I guess, I'd like to be married someday", she answered nonchalantly.
"Why?", Zoro's voice dripped with confusion but there was also somehting else... judgement maybe?
"I don't know, I think I just like the thought of having that special bond with a person, you know? Belonging together, having each other's back...", she trailed off towards the end. She could feel her cheeks heat up. Talking about feelings was so much easier when drunk...
"Oi! Everything okay with you?", Zoro sounded amused, "you sound exactly like curly-brows"
"Why? Because I want to belong somewhere?", she was irritated by his reaction.
"Don't be so dramatic", the swordsman rolled his eyes, "you belong to the crew like all of us"
She wiggled her way out from underneath him not wanting him on her anymore.
"Do you really not understand how that's different? I just don't want to be just someone's girlfriend for the rest of my life", she was starting to get frustrated now.
"Just someone's girlfriend? And being someone's wife is better? What kind of goal is that?", (Y/N) could sense that Zoro was not taking her seriously at the moment, which made her even more furious. Unfortunately the witch was an angry-crier, so wasn't long before the tears started to fill her eyes. When he saw her reaction, he added, "Damn, you are so sensitive"
"And you are always so goddamn insensitive! Talking to you is like talking to a brick wall!", (Y/N) knew she shouldn't yell but the way he was talking down to her made her feel so helpless.
"I don´t want to talk to you anyways when you're being so difficult. I should've just taken a nap", he was annoyed by her behavior.
"Fine!", with that she stood up and walked away from her boyfriend but as she was walking inside the Sunny she turned around telling him, "and for your information, the are some things that Sanji actually gets very right, you know..."
She knew that indirectly comparing him to the cook would rub him the wrong way but she really couldn't resist.
"Oi, are you actually trying to start a fight or what?!", Zoro yelled after her, raising his voice for the first time the entire conversation.
Zoro mindlessly sat by the railing sharpening his katanas. Would things be different today had he acted a little more sensitive during their fight? Back then he didn't pay it anymore mind. In fact, he didn't think (Y/N) would've either. They had had far bigger fights - or so he thought - but guess it was more important to her than he anticipated. Maybe he wasn't enough for her... Was she really that unhappy?
"Hey...", Zoro was pulled from his thoughts by (Y/N) herself. It was the first time that she directly spoke to him since her confession on Sabaody, "I just wanted to thank you for speaking up back then. You really saved us"
Us... Zoro felt a sting in his chest. Of course, her new man and their son. Helping her wasn't even a question for him but the thought that she was in that situation to begin with made him angry. What kind of man doesn't protect his family?
"Don't mention it", he grunted, still not looking up from his blades.
"No, I mean it. If it wasn't for you I don't know what I'd do", Zoro couldn't help but notice that the way she was talking to him wasn't as familiar anymore almost like they were strangers. First the crew and now (Y/N) too. All this tiptoeing around made him sick - he wasn't used to being pitied and he didn't like it. One bit. He would almost have preferred it if she had just sad down with him and talked... normally?
As if she had read his mind, she asked him if she could sit with him for a moment. She took the shrug she got in returned as a 'yes' and sat down opposite from him.
"Zoro... I - I really never meant to hurt you", she continued. He wasn't sure if he wanted to have this conversation now but the alternative was her leaving again, so...
"It's my own fault. I should've known better", he answered.
"What? Why would you say that?", the woman opposite of him truly sounded upset with his statement. She was trying to catch his eye but he adjusted himself so that he was now facing the water.
"I wouldn't give you what you wanted. I was too occupied with my goal of becoming the strongest. All the training, the exercising...", he trailed off towards the end. "Logical consequences", he tried to sound unbothered.
The witch furrowed her brows, "No... No, no. Where is that coming from?"
"You told me you wanted to get married someday and I didn't take you seriously"
She remembered the fight but hadn't thought about for ages - especially because - in her mind - it wasn't so big of a deal. But then again, the swordsman also never heard what happened after the fight.
When Sanji entered the dining area the first thing he noticed was a sniffling (Y/N). With the speed of lightning he was kneeling in front of her, tracing soothing cirlces on one of her hands.
"(Y/N)-chan! What happened? Who hurt you?", the cook jumped up from his position on the floor.
"It's nothing, Sanji. Just a little fight", she wiped her tears away and tried to smile up at him.
"Was it that stupid Marimo? I'm going to break his face for making you cry", he was already halfway out of the room before the witch could even react.
"Sanji, no, please don't", she pleaded. Usually she'd be the last person to stop either one of them from starting a fight with the other but this time was different.
When the blond heard how desperate she sounded he stopped in his tracks, instead he turned around and started to prepare some tea for himself and the girl.
Once the tea was served, he sat down with her, so they could talk.
"It's silly...", she tried to dismiss the problem but Sanji wouldn't have it.
"How silly can it be if it makes you cry?", at the mention of her tears she swore there were distinct flames in his irises.
"It's just... Zoro and I were talking about our goals in life and when I told him I'd like to get married someday, he didn't seem to like the idea"
"How could anybody say 'no' to a proposal from you? I would marry you in an instant ~", where the witch had seen flames a moment ago, there were now hearts in his irises.
"Oh yeah? Sanji, no offense but you'd marry any woman that's not on the tree by three", she couldn't help but laugh, "But in fact, I wasn't proposing to him. We were fighting because he's just so... insensitive? You know, sometimes it's like only his thoughts and feelings are what make sense to him and so other thoughts and feelings are irrational and therefore not valid..."
"Stupid.. selfish.. douchebag.. mosshead..", Sanji was talking more to himself than to the girl sitting opposite of him, "why are you even putting up with him? You could easily find a better man that would cherish you and worship the ground you walk on"
The witch was sure the cook was talking about himself but let it slide for the moment.
"I love him", she shrugged, "what you don't understand is, that I'd rather have a thousand fights and never ever get married than to marry somebody else"
In that moment, the cook genuinely could feel how serious the girl was.
" - but don't tell him that. Otherwise, I'll never get him to tie the knot", she quickly added.
"I wouldn't dream of it", the blond confirmed.
"So, and now let's make dinner, yes? I'm starting to get hungry", (Y/N) was nudged Sanji in the side, a bright smile lighting up her face.
To further cheer her up, the cook promised to prepare the witch's favourite meal for dinner and (Y/N) was happy to help and spend some more time with her friend.
(Y/N) was in the midst of stirring one of the many pots, that were cooking on the stove - with Luffy as their captain a single dish would never be enough - when she heard Zoro's voice from outside the kitchen.
"Oi! (Y/N) come quick! There's something I want to show you"
The girl turned to the cook, who by the look of it was busy with adjusting the taste with seasoning so every dish was nothing short of perfect.
"Is it okay if I leave you to it now?", she smiled.
"Are you sure? The stupid marimo didn't even apologize"
"Positive", she shrugged, "I'm not angy anymore and I'm sure he isn't either. Why waste time being pissed at each other when you could also just spend the time that you have together being happy?"
And with that she skipped towards the door leading to the deck where her stubborn, stupid marimo headed boyfriend was already waiting for her. But just before she could leave the kitchen she made an abrupt stop, returned to where she left the cook standing and gave him a kiss on the cheek, which almost made the receiver levitate.
"Thank you, Sanji"
"Zoro, no... There's nothing you could've said or done differently that would've changed anything. I'm... so sorry", she hoped that this would convince him that it really wasn't a 'him-issue' and that he shouldn't give up on love all together, but he remained silence. When she realized that he wouldn't answer her she made a move to get up but just before she could leave Zoro spoke up.
"I don't hate you, you know?", it was the first time during their conversation that he had looked at her - really looked her in the face. She could see that he still loved her. He has always been bad at articulating his emotions but that was okay for her because she could always tell how he felt about her. He showed her. Two years of seperations didn't change that.
She didn't expect him to say anything now - least off all that. Of course, she felt glad to hear it but still she couldn't help but to feel guilty... like she didn't deserve forgiveness for all the pain she caused.
"I wouldn't blame you", she sat back down.
"I could never. Three days are one thing. Two years a whole nother", he shrugged, "Besides, Nami hates you enough for the both of us"
The witch sat there shocked but once she saw Zoro's smirk, she let out a relieved laugh.
"I think Nami hates me enough for the whole crew", she giggled.
The two of them started teasing each ofther and for a moment it felt like before. Before Sabaody, before (Y/N)'s confession, before their separation.
"By the way, I like your dress", the woman told Zoro with a deadpan look. It took a few moments for her words to register in his mind before he started yelling.
"Dress?! Are you blind, woman??"
When she saw how frustrated he was with her she couldn't hold back her giggles.
Their laughs could be heard all over the Sunny, much to the bewilderment of a certain navigator.
"Look at that! How could he be laughing with her like that after everything she put him through?", she turned to Robin.
"They love each other. Feelings don't change from one day to another"
"Well, for her they apparently did...", Nami retorted.
The older woman sent the red-head a knowing smile but chose to stay silent.
************************************************************************
The battle was in full effect and (Y/N) was in awe of how strong everybody has become over these last two years. Even the self-proclaimed coward trio of Usopp, Nami and Chopper did a lot of damage to the enemy crew. A lot of parts of town have been destroyed during the fight but the witch knew that this was the lesser of two evils and the townspeople would work together once everything was over to build it up again.
"They're like vermin!", Nami shouted. She was right. The pirates weren't strong - at least not compared to the Straw Hats - but they were many and they were everywhere.
"Doesn't matter. We're stronger", Ruffy laughed.
During the fight (Y/N) felt like she never left the crew, working together like a well maintained machine. For a moment she forgot about the struggles and that all of this would be only temporary - that they would leave once the threat was over - but then a loud explosion pulled her back to reality. A cloud of black and grey smoke rose up from just outside of town where the forrest began.
"My house!", the young witch shouted, "I need to go- I need- I-"
The others could see the genuine fear in her eyes as she was running towards where the flames were blazing up from afar.
"I'm coming with you", Zoro started to follow her.
The girl stopped in her tracks, "Wait, no you can't come"
"Why? Don't be ridiculous. You'll need help"
"Yes, but not from you", she her voice sounded urgent, "Sanji? Can't you come? Or Robin?"
"What the hell is wrong with you? You're wasting time!", the swordsman was getting angry. Why would she rather want the waiter's help before his? He could keep her safer that any body else on the crew but of course she had to be stubborn again.
"Both of you are wasting time. I'm coming", Robin interjected. Zoro tried to object but before he could both of the women already took off.
"What are you hiding, (Y/N)?", the older of the two asked.
"You'll see soon enough"
************************************************************************
Once the fight was over the forrest floor around the hut was littered with pirates. Neither (Y/N) nor Robin believed in taking prisoners. Fortunately, (Y/N)'s little house and garden were unscathed.
"How?", Robin was puzzled.
The younger woman sent her a bright smile, "That's Mim's doing"
"Mim?"
And so (Y/N) told her about her mentor. Mim was an older woman - an old hag to be specific - that took care of (Y/N) when she landed on her island two years ago. She was strict and a little grim but also extremely warm-hearted and as chance would have it, she was known as the island's sorceress. At first (Y/N) believed that it was only hearsay, like it had been in her home village, but she quickly realized that the old lady was an actual witch and better yet - she would teach her.
"I see. So, your mentor protected your home with a spell", Robin concluded as the both of them walked over to the little hut.
As they walked up to the door, an old woman and a little child came up to them. When Robin saw the little boy with the green hair and the outstreched arms, she quickly realized why (Y/N) was so against Zoro accompanying her.
"You need to tell him, (Y/N)"
"I can't, Robin. It wouldn't change a thing"
"You don't know that", she insisted.
But before (Y/N) could give an answer, they heard the voice a certain green-haired swordsman.
"What wouldn't change a thing?"
(Y/N) stiffened up. When Zoro saw the little boy in her arms his eyes immediately grew wide. The whole crew waited in anticipation.
It was the toddler that broke the silence with his babbling, signaling for his mother to be wanting to be let down. Once she set him down the little boy immediately started to wobble his way over to Chooper, where he promptly fell on his behind and happily started to wildy gesture around.
"Is that - ? Why did- ? When-?", Zoro was lost for words and so were the others. It was Nami that spoke up first.
"(Y/N)...", she walked over to the other girl and hugged her tight, "I'm so sorry"
"You didn't know", she assured the navigator, "to be honest? I probably would have reacted the same way". She sent her friend a half-smile.
"Ma-ma?", the toddler demanded his mother's attention, two fists full of Chopper's fur in both of his chubby hands.
"Ah. No, no. Leave the nice Tanuki alone, honey", she walked over to the little boy scooping him up in her arms again, ignoring the ship doctor's protests over the misidentification.
Zoro cleared his throat to get her attention back to him. As much as he enjoyed the moment of reconciliation, he still thought there was some things the two of them had to talk about.
Within seconds the mood switched yet again and all of a sudden everybody was reminded of the reality of the situation they were in.
"Maybe we should give those two a minute or two...", Robin suggested.
"Yeah", (Y/N) answered but didn't take her eyes off of Zoro, "Sanji, why don't you cook something nice for us? The fridge should be stocked...". Her suggestion was met with instant approval from their ever hungry captain.
Sanji just nodded, still not having processed the newly gained information. How could the marimo be a father??
Nami made grabby hands towards the Mini-Zoro in (Y/N)'s arms. Usually she was rather unimpressed with babies. But this was different. This baby belonged to her best friend and... Zoro.
"Come to aunty Nami", (Y/N) didn't hesitate for a moment to hand him over to the red-head. Had it been Luffy or Usopp she'd think twice but she trusted Nami to take care of her baby.
"I'll leave you two to it, so you can talk", the navigator continued, "What's the little man's name by the way?"
"Oh, I decided to name him Sanji", (Y/N) answered seriously.
"Excuse me?!", Zoro was shocked.
"Just joking! I'm sorry", she tried to calm the mosshead down. From behind her, she could see Usopp and Nami snickering behind their hands and Sanji nearly dying of heart palpitations. "It's Sora", she added quietly as the others left her and the swordsman alone.
"Is (Y/N) coming back now?", the witch heard Chopper ask somewhere in the background but she didn't have the mental capacity to think about anything but Zoro at the moment.
"Sora...", he repeated thoughtfully once they were alone, "Does he- does he have my name?"
(Y/N) felt anxious. Would he like that?
"Well...", she started but had to stop because she didn't know what to say, "I mean... yeah?"
"Roronoa Sora...", Zoro didn't know how to properly express his feelings in the moment. Hell - he didn't even know himself. But he knew that he liked the sound of that.
"Why didn't you say anything?", he asked her. It was almost like a plea.
"Would it have changed anything? I didn't want to burden you"
"Burden me?", he was in disbelief, "How could you ever burden me?"
"Don't you understand? I was alone on this island. All alone and I had to make a decision" she was getting emotional - for the first time since her confession. There were no more jokes and funny digs to mask how she really felt.
Zoro felt terrible, he knew how hard it was for her to feel isolated and then to go through something like this without any help? When they first got together he would've never thought that he'd ever grow so attached to the girl but it didn't take long for him to really fall madly and deeply in love with her. Sometimes he'd feel bad that couldn't really express how he truly felt for her but he promised himself he would do anything in his power to protect her. But he couldn't even do that.
"You had your goal... and... and... I never wanted to hold you back", (Y/N) couldn't stop the tears from falling anymore. Being separated from him was the worst feeling in the world but she would give up everything and more for him.
Zoro pulled her into his chest, holding her close and tucking her head underneath his chin. From the way hear hands would immediately grab at his robe, it was noticeable how much she missed his touch.
"I'm so sorry. I'm sorry you had to go through all that. I'm sorry I wasn't there. I'm sorry you felt like you had to lie", he hated that she felt like she had to protect him. The crew - especially Nami - had been so terrible to her, "I love you more than anything..."
She pulled back and looked up at him. Tears still streaming down her face. Even now, he couldn't help but to think how beautiful she was. And for the first time in over two years his lips met hers.
The kiss wasn't hungry or sensual. Zoro could taste the salt from her tears on her lips but it didn't bother him at all.
Once they broke apart she smiled up at him, "I've missed you"
************************************************************************
"Are you sure?", Nami shouted down from the Sunny.
"A pirate ship is no place for a child", (Y/N) answered back.
It's been a week since the fight. The townspeople were already in the process of building up what's been broken and it was time for the Straw Hats to move on. Of course, the offered the witch to join them again but nothing changed for her. She had to think about her son first and foremost - as much as she would miss life on the sea. Most of the crew already boarded the ship. It was only Zoro left on the beach with (Y/N) and their son.
"I guess it's goodbye then, huh?", the witch had a sad smile on her face.
"I promise it's not forever. As soon as Luffy is pirate king I'll come back for you... both of you", the mosshead still wasn't the most secure in his new role as a father but as long as he had (Y/N) he knew that it'd be alright.
(Y/N) went in for what would be the last hug for a long, long time, "Promise me you'll be safe. Who's gonna make you take care of yourself when I'm not there?", she smiled.
The two of them exchanged a few more kisses and 'I love you's before the crew told them it was time to depart. During the last hug, Sora, who was seated in his mothers arm reached, out and grabbed his father's cheek with a happy laugh. Zoro furrowed his brows for a moment but then quickly started grinning.
"And you keep an eye out for your mother, yes?"
The toddler babbled as if to confirm that he understood his father's order.
A loud sob disrupted the family moment. When they turned to the Sunny they saw the whole crew smiling down at them - much to the discomfort of Zoro, who was still not entirely at ease with PDA. It was Franky that the initial sob came from. The cyborg has always been prone to tears but on closer examination it was almost the whole crew that was at least a little teary-eyed. Everyone except Luffy, who had a puzzled look on his face.
"Oi, that baby looks like Zoro..."
That sentenced earned him a hefty slap at the back of the head from nami and a hearty laugh from (Y/N).
"I'm gonna miss you guys so much", she smiled through tears.
"We'll be back before you know it, (Y/N)-chan~", Sanji shouted down to her.
"Oi! Let my girlfriend alone! Nobody's gonna miss you", the swordsman, who had joined the others on the ship by now, yelled at the cook.
(Y/N) stayed on the beach listening to the two of them fight until they were too far away to make out the words anymore. Then she turned to the little mosshead in her arms.
"Guess, it's just us now huh? Roronoa Sora..."

imagine a blonde sacrificial bride and reiji is talking about how dumb shu is and she says “duhh its bc hes blonde!” and then she remembers and is like, “oh!!” how would the boys react LOL
LOL
================================================================================================
Sakamaki's
Shu Sakamaki:
Tumblr media
He hears it from the other room. Yells, “I HEARD THAT, YOU DUMB BARBIE.” Then shuffles in, lazy grin, flops down on your lap. “You and me both, huh? Guess we match~” He 100% starts calling you his “Blonde Clone.” You’re never living it down.
Reiji Sakamaki:
Tumblr media
He’s mid-lecture, glasses glinting with righteous rage, until you drop that bomb. He stops. Stares at you. “…Are you implying you’re also intellectually inferior, then?” He says it dryly. Like he’s begging you to take it back. You don't. You just blink. He sighs, pinches the bridge of his nose, and mutters, “Unbelievable. Two blondes. Double the suffering.” Still makes you tea five minutes later like nothing happened, but he’s pouring it aggressively.
Laito Sakamaki:
Tumblr media
GASPS. Overly dramatic. “Ara~ Bitch-chan!! Are you saying we’re both… dumb and sexy~?” Pulls you into his arms. “We should form a blonde alliance and destroy the smarties.” Absolutely turns it into a roleplay scenario later. “Oops~ I forgot my homework, Sensei~” You unlocked a new kink and a new inside joke.
Kanato Sakamaki:
Tumblr media
Slow head turn. “…You’re blonde. And you just said that.” He’s silent for ten seconds. Then starts giggling. A weird, unsettling giggle. “Maybe Shu should take you to his dumb corner.” Threatens to dye your hair brown while you sleep. Do not test him.
Ayato Sakamaki:
Tumblr media
Bursts out laughing. HARD. “PFFFT! Chichinashi, did you just roast yourself?! HA!” He points. Teases you for days. “You’re lucky you’re cute, dumbass.” But the minute someone else calls you dumb? Ayato’s suddenly grabbing collars and growling, “Only I get to call her that, got it?!”
Subaru Sakamaki:
Tumblr media
He stares at you like you just admitted you eat glue. “Did… did you seriously say that?” You nod sheepishly. He puts his face in his hands. “I can’t believe I fell for a blonde bimbo…” …But he’s blushing the whole time. Still squeezes your hand and mumbles, “Don’t say that around the others. You’re smarter than Shu. Barely.”
Mukami's
Ruki Mukami:
Tumblr media
His soul leaves his body for a full five seconds. “You…” he mutters slowly, looking like he’s re-evaluating your entire existence. You wait nervously. He finally sighs. “…I suppose beauty has its price.” He immediately starts assigning reading material to help you “balance your radiance with intellect.”
Kou Mukami:
Tumblr media
Laughs so hard he drops his phone. “Oh my god, Babe, you really are my sunshine idiot~ I LOVE IT.” He makes you a TikTok with a soundbite of the line. It goes viral. He buys you a shirt that says: “I’m Blonde, What’s Your Excuse?”
Yuma Mukami:
Tumblr media
Stares blankly. “…Yer lucky I like dumbasses.” Pats your head like a confused farmer petting a duck. Later tries to explain what “self-drag” means while planting carrots. He still doesn’t get it, but he’s proud of you anyway.
Azusa Mukami:
Tumblr media
“…That was… deep…” “Wait, really?” “Yes… it’s like… you understand yourself… and accept it…” (the subtle insult lol) He thinks you’re a philosopher now. Calls you “wise and soft.” Probably starts journaling your quotes.
Tsukinami's
Carla Tsukinami:
Tumblr media
The air stills. He looks at you with the slow, precise grace of a man trying to determine if you are joking, cursed, or simply… doomed. “…You realize what you just said, correct?” You nervous giggle “Oops?” He closes his eyes. Inhales deeply like a king meditating through the pain of a thousand plagues. “Even a gem can have flaws. Perhaps yours… is simply terminal airheadedness.” He immediately adds “Blonde Logic Management” to your curriculum. You now have logic puzzles and deductive reasoning games every morning before breakfast. Still calls you “my little sunbeam of chaos” when no one’s around.
Shin Tsukinami:
Tumblr media
He chokes on his drink. Falls over. Wheezing. “BAHAHAHAHA! You just absolutely destroyed yourself, what the hell!” He’s crying. Rolling on the floor. “Best. Self-own. Ever.” Points at you for the rest of the day and says things like: “Don’t listen to her, she’s on blonde time.” “The blonde hive mind strikes again.” “She’s cute, but you need subtitles to follow her logic.” But, if anyone else dares insult your intelligence? He bares his fangs instantly. “You wanna die, punk? That’s my dumbass. Back off.”

Hello, average Tumblr user, I'm Brisa, and I'm here to bring you a non-sophisticated piece of writing.
Personally, I like to write, and today while I was rereading some of those short writings, I decided I wanted to share one with you.
I want to emphasize that I am using a translator because I personally do not speak or write English, and any corrections or recommendations are welcome. Thank you for your time
Hunter x fm!reader
Summary: Hunter and Y/N go through another miscarriage.
All characters are aged
Warnings: miscarriage, guilt, angst.
Tumblr media
"So...what's going on?" Eda leaned on the island counter on her elbows, looking at Hunter.
"Pffft, What? Nothing happens" Hunter smiled fakely.
"Kid, I raised many children, I raised Y/N, King, I took care of Luz and you. Do you think I can't tell when someone lies to me? Plus...it shows in your eyes..." Eda grimaced a little and looked at Hunter waiting for a response. The grimwalker just looked at the table, sighed, took a quick look at the kitchen entrance, as Luz and the children were laughing in the living room, then he looked back at the counter and murmured in a low voice.
"It happened again." They were silent for a moment, Eda didn't understand what Hunter meant.
"The reason Y/N called you was because she was in the hospital" Hunter looked up and looked Eda in the eyes, then the truth hit her.
"Another miscarriage right?" Hunter nodded.
“Where is Y/N? Is she still in the hospital?" Eda asked worried.
"She said she wanted time alone. She...was blaming herself again." Hunter sighed heavily. "She even blamed herself for leaving before you answered the call."
"Ah...shit..." Eda looked down and then looked up at Hunter, who was looking at the counter with his fingers tangled in his hair. The old lady looked worried at the man and walked up to his side.
"Hunter, what's wrong?" Hunter shook his head and sighed, shakily.
"Nothing...nothing" The blonde ran his hands over his face and rested his fists against his mouth, biting them.
"Kiddo…" Hunter shook his head again, this time with tears in his eyes and pursing his lips.
"It's okay...tell me what's wrong..." Eda rubbed the boy's back.
"I...can't...i dunno...i dunno"
"Hunter, you should talk to Y/N about it, you know she would listen to you, if you te..."
"No, no, i can't...i can't tell her..." Hunter interrupted Eda, while covering his face. "I always thought about being a father, I never imagined going this far...two children, and the idea of having more, I like it, but... I don't want to continue going through this. Seeing her like this, it hurts me, it hurts me every time it happens, I don't know if I can continue and now... Another one..." Hunter shook his head, crying.
"Titan, we can't continue like this, but I don't know how to avoid it either, because...if another one comes, It could survive, but It also couldn't... And i don't know what to do Eda, I don't know." Eda looked sadly at the brown-eyed man, she didn't know what to do either, the only thing she could think of was to offer him a hug, which Hunter accepted. Eda rubbed the blonde's back, while Hunter released the crying and pain he had kept inside him, not just the one now, no, he released the pain he had been accumulating since the first miscarriage.
The one where both, Y/N and Hunter, discovered that their chances of having children were lower than those of a normal couple.
"Listen, kid, it's not okay for you to keep everything bottled up, I understand that you just want to stay stable, as support for Y/N, but you also have the right to feel, okay?" Eda tried to reason with Hunter, and he could only nod, unable to say a word.
--------------------------------------------------
So...What do you think? Please let me know if you like it. I know Y/N isn't actually in it but I just wanted to share it because it's actually a scene from my oc, but that's not important.

Fantastic Four (& FF) by Jonathan Hickman
Tumblr media
Jonathan Hickman’s Fantastic Four equals a ton of expectations. Capital E. After the original one by Lee and Kirby, this one is probably considered to be the most defining for the team. At least that’s what I kept hearing before picking it up. It’s a fan favorite, hence the E.  So it doesn’t need any extra introductions.
Next — spoilers, questions, enlightening conclusions, and more reasons to despise Reed Richards...
When I couldn’t come up with anything to say about the previous Millar run, I thought that was because the run didn’t affect anything (seriously, you should see my review — it’s pretty much me going on and on about how Reed messed up again). Turns out, I was wrong. Not about Reed, about the run. It was just a prelude to Hickman’s cooking.
Tumblr media
Almost everything makes a comeback: dead Galactus, living Galactus, Nu-Earth, Doom, Val’s brilliant mind, etc. Topped off with Hickman’s love for large-scale events, his style of storytelling (where time is a flat circle), and even text pages. Don’t worry though, they make an appearance but don’t take up half of the book (yet).
A lot is going on in this series. When I say a lot, I mean almost overwhelmingly. Hickman’s style is throwing bits and pieces at you at random points and making them come together at another point. Now when’s that gonna be — you never know. This makes his runs fun and just a little chaotic, kind of like life. And if you pay attention, the bits come together like a puzzle where everything fits and nothing is left to chance.
Tumblr media
The narrative also happens in two books: at some point he introduces FF as in Future Foundation, thus solving the question that plagues many a writer — what to do with the kids.
As much as I don’t care for kids' adventures, these worked just fine, so I don’t even feel the need to defend their existence or convince anyone not to skip them.
Too many Reeds
Tumblr media
There is a whole council of Reeds and we learn that despite being so obviously the worst of all humans on Earth, our 616 Reed somehow turns out to be the best Reed out of all Reeds. Imagine how low the bar is…. Oh wait, there’s no need to imagine if you check out the story of Reed-98570 (Fantastic Four #605). And that creep is one of the founders of the council.
So between the nazi scientist Reed who stole Doom’s brain, other Reeds who turned their back on their families, and Reed Reed who is just garbage, there’s really only one question: why are all Reeds so awful?
Tumblr media
Hickman proposes a possible answer — his father wasn’t around. Kind of sounds like bs. Look at the Marvel Universe: how many heroes still have their parents? And some parents had been awful. Not everyone turned out like this (except maybe Stark…). No, I say, Reed is bad because of Reed. And Val is probably gonna turn out just as bad.
There is so much to choose from. At this point, the list of his misdeeds (as I just mean Reed 616) exceeds the list of Daredevil’s dead exes.
Tumblr media
It doesn’t take Reed 10 pages of the new run to start lying to his wife.
But that’s not news. What blows my mind, is how obsessively Reed is trying to prove to Wizard that he’s going to raise his clone into someone better. Pffft, Reed. Take care of your own kids – they’re out of hand. One is making deals with your arch-enemy, and the other is doing god knows what in the middle of the night in his own universe. You have your hands full.
Tumblr media
And that is not even remotely close to being all that Reed’s been up to. He starts Future Foundation as a way to bring young forward-thinking kid geniuses together and solve everything. Ambitious and fair, fair because he sees how the existing scientific community has stagnated. The old, experienced scientists have no interest in building a future they won’t get to see. But kids, they do. Val is a perfect fit for this foundation (and so is Bentley-the-Wizard’s-clone) and that’s a great excuse to start neglecting Franklin. You know, build a little competition. If Odin’s guide to healthy parenting has taught us anything, it’s that kids should fight for their parents’ love and approval... Fine, I’m exaggerating but just a little. After all, Reed manages to neglect FF too. Whenever he does, he usually dumps it all on Johnny.
Johnny’s reign
Tumblr media
It’s on one of such days that Johnny ends up locked forever in the Negative Zone. He is presumed dead and it’s all very tragic for the next few months. But it does bring Spider-Man out of his neighborhood and into the family drama. He actually fits in quite well, with nothing to prove and his easygoing attitude (but even he wonders if Sue is fine with whatever Reed’s doing at a given moment). Still, it’s not about him, so none of his personal tales make it into the book.  Of course, Johnny soon returns.
Tumblr media
Not only he shows up at the best possible moment, he has Annihilus on a leash and complete control of the Zone (which gives us the ‘hold my Annihilus’ panel). I swear, whenever Johnny sends his ships and troops somewhere, you can feel Reed’s green envy. Reed probably thought he deserved it more… (I don’t have any proof but it seems like something Reed would experience.)
Tumblr media
Johnny seemingly matures, he’s supposed to be 2 years older now too, but that doesn’t last long and he quickly reverts to his classic irritating self. As if dying and coming back doesn’t mess with one’s mind.
What’s worse, he gives the Zone free elections, and guess what? They vote for Annihilus. Again. They got rid of him with pain, sweat, and blood, and they voted him back in. Now that’s just unrealistic! Can’t happen. Right?
Tumblr media
That’s probably everything of note that happens with Johnny. I have to assume that writers, for the most part, still don’t know what exactly to make of him. But my guess is his image needs a serious makeover. I don’t know where he’s at right now, but I don’t think this party-hard, drink-’till-sunrise, never-be-on-time, have-no-purpose persona should live past 2012.
Sue’s enchantment under the sea
Tumblr media
How did Johnny even end up on the other side of the gate to the Zone? Well, Ben was human, Reed was busy with Nu World and Galactus, and Sue… oh, Sue was ruling the seas.
No, unfortunately, she still hasn’t left Reed for Namor or any other fish person. But she did spend a ton of time negotiating a truce between Namor’s kingdom and other fish in the sea. Even punched Namor, which only made him want her more.
Tumblr media
And I know that’s a whole other book but there was a jealous vibe from Emma, who also makes an appearance, and I don’t know what to make of it. From all we know, she can still have him as a backup if she wants to. Maybe she just hates being a second choice and Sue doesn’t exactly have Jean’s habit of dying and vacating the partner.
Tumblr media
Other than that, Sue waters flowers, kicks celestial ass, and wonders if she’s a good parent. She is (her husband isn’t). She has confidence which is very nice to see. But she still doesn’t give Reed the grief he deserves. He keeps lying to Sue and deceiving her, which leads to bigger and bigger problems and she, along with other heroes, ends up having to deal with it. It’s a vicious circle and it’s an exhaustingly old issue even at that point (2011-12, people, the Avengers just came out!) Don’t get me wrong, I would be complaining if their married life was all suns and rainbows, because that’s just boring. But I need to see her confronting Reed. At this point, she just looks the other way and leaves him to his devices. I’m almost not surprised she jumped at the chance to hang out with Namor, even though he once again showed his more obnoxious side. At least he isn’t spending time with a bunch of himselves instead of her.
Tumblr media
I never not feel bad for Sue, mostly because we still don’t really know her. Writers make small improvements and adjustments for her, and they reassure us that her love for Reed is real, but I can’t believe that. She has nothing of her own, nothing that isn’t attached to her husband, kids, the team, or Namor. She makes sandwiches and cuts off the crust.
The week of Ben
Tumblr media
Now back to Johnny’s trip to the Negative Zone, where was Ben? Right beside him. Only Ben was human because the FF kids created a serum that could turn him human for a week every year. That was so shocking to everyone — the kids have figured out something Reed never could. Only that’s not true at all. Throughout the FF's history, Ben’s become human again at least 5 times, maybe more. Several times Reed figured out how to change him for good, some times he gave Ben the option to turn into The Thing at will. It never lasted but not all of that was Reed’s fault.
Tumblr media
Regardless, Ben became human for his week, spent it hanging out with Johnny (worst choice ever if you ask me), but he also reunited with Alicia. The part that does bug me is he still thinks she loves him only for his looks. You know, as if his charming and not-at-all-angry personality is not enough. Also, no one is even mentioning Debbie who just a week ago was the love of Ben’s life and nearly became his wife and Sue’s best (only) friend in the process. But no sense in dwelling on the past.
Tumblr media
Of course, after failing to sacrifice himself instead of Johnny, Ben takes a guilt trip. No, he actually leaves the team to go mope around in the Avengers mansion. And feels that it’s really all he does during this run aside from backing up the team and announcing clobbering time. But we do take a little trip to the future with Reed’s father, and we see what the kids’ serum does to Ben – he only ages a week every year so he gets to outlive everyone and that’s when we get a little moment that reminds us that he and Reed are actually best friends. Something that’s been buried under Ben’s loyalty and resentment, plus occasional (permanent) selfishness on Reed’s side.
Tumblr media
Moloids though, they worship Ben. So that’s something.
The kids won’t be all right
Tumblr media
We get to see future versions of Franklin and Val. To call these kids shady is an understatement. They are straight-up nasty creeps. And in a very mutant tradition, they come back from the future to mess around with history. Franklin gives himself his powers back, Val constantly states how much she doesn’t like her kid self.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile,, their younger selves, accompanied by the FF, constantly get into trouble. We do address kid Franklin’s issues that I felt were dropped by Millar, his budding envy for Val. And when it comes to Val, I don’t think she’s going to change. She is Doom’s child at heart… everything about her is Doom, her arrogance, her sinister ideas, her elaborate plans. She did get one thing from Reed though — lying. Sneaking around and doing shady things – that’s all Reed. It makes me curious, the more I read about her, the more I want to see her turn into a self-righteous villain. She has everything for the part and she’d make a far more exciting villain than even Franklin with all his world-ending abilities. Val is also more suited to rule Latveria than Kristoff. Not trying to give Doom advice on how to run his land but… just something to think about.
What’s There to Do(om)?
Tumblr media
The Reeds have historically been very unkind to the Dooms. And before we get into it, remember that I’m not giving props to a dictator, but let’s agree that turning Dooms into talking plants or brain donors is certainly not the way to achieve your goals of universal peace and prosperity. But the council of Reeds hunts down every Doom in existence, which I don’t know if it does make our 616 Doom special. He keeps jumping higher and higher up in the power ranking, and at this point, it’s hard to imagine he could be defeated. With some help from Val, he even obtains an Infinity Gauntlet (from a different universe) and creates a whole world. That makes him a god and I know this Doomiurge will return in Battleworld.
Tumblr media
To make things worse (for Reed), through the course of the run, Doom is saving Richards and his family left and right. First, he saves Reed’s absent father (by killing his variant), then he sacrifices himself during the fight with the Celestials, and so much more in between. All while being very nice to Val and not breaking his word once. Oh yes, he’s a better parent to Val than Reed is.
Tumblr media
This is once again, a story about the family. Reed’s family, because even when they all deal with their own things, they can be sure that somehow Reed is going to screw up everything and bring about the end of the world.
All of it makes me understand one thing. When you’re writing a Fantastic Four run, you gotta be either pro-Reed or pro-Doom. If you’re pro-Reed, you’ll go out of your way to prove that Reed’s doing the right thing. Even when he does the wrong thing for the right reason, which is a - always, b- a clear sign of a villain.
Pro-Doom writers don’t argue with Doom being evil and ambitious, but they always try to remind us how honorable Doom is and that his heart may be black but there’s a soft blueish spot in it for Valeria. A bit of healthy disdain for Mr. Fantastic usually correlates with at least some Doom apologism.

Sorry, I had a complete crack au for the Mafia Mafia au based on how everything seems to be lining up to stop 3/3 dteam
Like. Sapnap never reveals that he's a mole and eventually he just. Goes home to Dream and George. It was a temporary exchange right, he was always meant to go back
But obviously, Team Mafia don't want him to go back! But they couldn't convince him or find any excuse for him to stay before it was time to go, so they've gone to plan B, kidnapping
But what if Sapnap tries to escape to go back to Dream and George D:? They could take all three and then no issues! Sapnap is back with them and he has no reason to leave again because his people will also be there!
Their plan is heavily based on taking them three all in one go. But the three of them just. Won't fucking show up together.
They keep inviting them to parties and meetings and trades and one is always missing. Spreen was about to maul someone with his bare hands when he finds out it happen again at his event because of a stupid ass gang pulling away Dream's attention
Tumblr deleted my answer and I want to cry oh my god.....
Anyways this was spinning in my head for so long, let's just hope I can remember everything I put down
Again, so sad it's all gone....I loved it...rip
ANYWAYS
Extremely hilarious to me that thr whole Team is trying so hard to wrangle these guys and it's just.....not...working???? Like they MUST suspect something, this just can't keep happening over and over!!!
But....when they reunite with Sapnap everytime, his genuine glee and eagerness to be with them again....he's always back to jumping on top of them haha....back to the screaming and barking and indecent jokes.....indecent actions if no one is looking..........it's just very clear to the members that at the the very least, Sapnap has no hesitation or weariness against them. And it's like FUCK. They just wanna take him back home already orz
And when they guys finally get to interact with Dream and George(albeit never together) in much more relaxed situations, they can see the tensions ease from their shoulders. They know these two seen them as allies, trust them enough since they took care of their third so well. (They wonder how much Sapnap told them) They see them open up around them little by little and it's just...UGHHH they're all so perfect!!! They're gonna lose their minds at this rate!!!!!
Serpias is just frothing at the mouth, the others needing to keep and eye on him to make sure he doesn't do anything rash (stop saying your gonna suck their souls out first chance you get have some DIGNITY Serpias.....)
Then when they finally get a confirmation from all 3 about attending Spreen's event.... Holy shit. ITS HAPPENINGGG!!! The guys go into full prepare mode, making home as cozy and wonderful as possible. This cracked version, they're making this the most luxurious kidnapping to ever happen pffft
Only for the day of the event to come........and Dream isn't there. He isnt. There.
You can see the comical vein going through Spreen's forehead as he speaks through his teeth in the most gentle way one could when full of absolute rage, he asks, Sapnap....where is Dream????
Sapnap giving his typical non answer is NOT helping matters.
It's not until the Team gets intel of a certain gang that was causing Dream issues and that's why he couldn't participate. And slowly learning this gang has actually been the reason for the 3 of them never being able to come together at these events....has actually been a thorn in their side for many years.......
You can hear the collective click in all their minds as they realize they just figured out a solution to their problem. Perchance this will persuade Dteam to come willingly at the end of the day hehe

May I please request a character dynamic between Mrs. Beakley and Gladstone?
Okay, sure.
Just to note: When I got this request, I still had another story queued up (the Donald and Fenton one) that you requested that I had to wrap up. But that’s done, so now there’s this!
Update: I’m sorry this took so long to put up, but ultimately, here it is. After this, I’m going to take the fics that I have done for both this prompt and the platonic sentence starter prompt and pop them onto AO3.
I give you…
On a Warm Summer’s Evening…
Originated from this post.
It was late. Gladstone was too tired to sleep. On this particular evening, he just so happened to be staying at McDuck Manor, as was Fethry (they had spent the day hanging out with Donald and Della).
Trying to be as quiet as possible, he snuck out of the guest bedroom. ‘Crap,’ he thought. ‘What now?’
His eyes wandered around the dark hall. He noticed a door to a room that he hadn’t been in before. He decided to check it out.
When Gladstone flipped on the light, he was surprised to see, amongst various games and game pieces, a solid mahogany pool table. It was rather immaculate, as if it hadn’t been touched in a while. Even the playing field seemed to not have any nicks or tears on it.
“Incredible,” he murmured. “I never would have guessed Uncle McDunkle would have something like this hidden away. Okay, maybe I would have, but a pool table? Surprising.”
All 15 balls were nestled snugly in their rack, but the cue ball was nowhere to be found. Gladstone started poking around to find it. He was so invested in his search that he didn’t pay attention to how much noise he was making. And he didn’t notice the looming figure coming up behind him, flashlight in one hand, wooden club in the other.
“AAAAAHHHHH!!!”
“What the feathers?!”
It took a bit for Gladstone’s eyes to adjust to the figure in front of him, but eventually, he realized that the figure was a stern-looking Mrs. Beakley.
“Ah- buh-“
“Gladstone,” Beakley whispered sharply, “what in Heaven’s name are you doing rooting around the mansion at this hour? I had reason to believe you were a burglar.”
“I couldn’t sleep,” Gladstone admitted. “My mind’s just-“ he used two fingers to make a zooming motion to try and illustrate his point.
Beakley was rather annoyed with Gladstone for disturbing her sleep. But she couldn’t say she didn’t relate to his situation.
“Well, then,” she replied. “Have you tried anything to go back to sleep?”
“I figured maybe taking a walk would help,” the gander suggested. “But I don’t know-this doesn’t usually happen to me.”
“I see you found Mr. McDuck’s billiards table,” Beakley continued, changing the subject.
“Pffft, guess so,” Gladstone replied. “I never saw him as the kind of duck to have one of these, though.”
“Oh, he bought this years ago,” Beakley explained. “Said he would use it after meetings with clients or fellow businessmen. But, to the best of my knowledge, he never did. So it’s just sat here. I’d suspect he probably views it as some sort of a status symbol. Massive shame to let such a purchase go to waste.”
Was Gladstone’s hearing playing tricks on him, or could he sense a bit of resentment and frustration in the housekeeper’s voice?
“You up for a game?”
Beakley could not believe what she was hearing. “What?! Absolutely not!” she hissed. “It’s past 11 in the evening, and I’d like to get back to sleep, thank you very much.”
She then went silent, weighing her options. Even though she wanted to get back to sleep, after Gladstone woke her up, in all honesty, it would be quite hard for her to actually get back to sleep. Plus, like she said, she had no idea why McDuck would make such a purchase if he wasn’t going to use the pool table.
“Well…” she reluctantly admitted. “I suppose we could play a game. If that will sate your desire.”
“Fantastic!” Gladstone replied. “Then I guess it’s game on.”
“I should warn you,” Beakley continued, “I was quite the billiards player back in my day.”
“Very well, then,” remarked Gladstone.
“And I will not go easy on you.”
The two stared competitively at each other.
“Care to make it interesting?” Gladstone asked.
“What do you propose?” Beakley shot back.
“100 bucks?”
As high a standard of morality as Beakley held herself to, she was also not one to back down from a challenge. “Make it 200.”
“Deal.”
Gladstone broke. “Call it, Veintidos.”
Beakley ignored the nickname. “Solids.”
The fifteen balls went scattering about the table. However, Gladstone didn’t sink anything, at least not yet.
Beakley was now up. The cue ball had a good position relative to the 6. She took aim, and fired. The cue ball struck the 6, and sent it flying into a corner pocket.
“Not bad,” Gladstone remarked.
“Oh, I am just getting warmed up,” Beakley retorted. She had her eye on the 3 now. She changed her position as needed, and after the cue ball struck the 3, it peeled off in the opposite direction, and dropped into the opposing corner pocket on the same side of the table. “Hm. 2 for 2.”
Gladstone wasn’t worried, though. He could bounce back in a big way. It wasn’t just luck, though. It was skill, too.
Beakley tried for the 7 ball next, but she didn’t get enough power to sink it. “Your turn,” she said curtly.
“Alright,” Gladstone noted. “Let’s see-“ He sized up his ball situation. He eyed the 12, took aim at the left corner pocket on the other side of the table, and fired. The 12 was just past the center of the table, so Gladstone needed a lot of power in his shot. The cue ball smashed into the 12, sending into the corner pocket. 2-1.
“You’re not so bad yourself,” Beakley echoed.
“Well, I try,” Gladstone answered. His next target-the 15 ball. It was in the center of the table, and with how close to the center pocket the cue ball was, Gladstone was going to have to do some maneuvering. He angled his cue as far down as he could, and took his shot. The cue ball successfully struck the 15, but the 15 veered just to the left of the opposite center pocket, coming to a rest right at the edge of the playing field.
“Well, I guess it’s your move, then.”
“Quite so,” echoed Beakley.
She eyed the 7 again, and this time, her aim was true. It dropped into the center pocket.
Next up, the 1 ball. She took a good shot at it, but the 1 fell just shy of the right corner pocket.
Gladstone took a look at the field. Which ball would give him good position at another point?
He eyed the 14 on the edge. He prepared to take his shot, and…fired. The cue ball crashed into the 14, and started towards the opposite wall. With as much force as Gladstone put into his shot, the 14 rolled all the way to the opposite right corner, and dropped in.
Gladstone sharply exhaled in response. He needed to be in the zone. He was a confident player, but he knew Beakley was bringing her A game.
He tried to sink the 9 into the same pocket, but he came up just short.
“Hm,” Beakley quietly remarked. “Back to me, then.”
Looking back at the 1 ball, she set up her aim, and easily dropped it in. She sunk the 2, which was along the corresponding side of the field, in short order. Beakley then eyed the 5, floating near the middle. She moved over to one of the longer sides, intending to sink the 5 in the opposing center pocket, which was exactly what she did. Just the 4 and the 8 to go, and she would win. However, the 4, which she shot towards the pocket to the left of where the 5 went, bounced off the edge of said pocket and came to a stop just right of her intended target.
“Back to you.”
Gladstone nodded, then set up his second go at the 9 ball. It easily went in. He tried sinking the 15, which had eluded him before, into the corner pocket on the other side, but no dice. It bounced off both edges, then reversed course a bit. It was still within close range of the pocket in question, but now it was back to Beakley.
Beakley came towards the 4 ball, and it went into the corner pocket with ease. She now went in for the kill. The 8 ball was near the center of the table, so this would be somewhat of a shot in the dark. She tried to pot it in the opposite right pocket, but came up empty. Gladstone was still alive.
“Third time’s the charm,” he muttered under his breath, seeking down the 15 once again. This time, he made it in. Now he needed to keep it going.
In the corner diagonally opposing where he’d just potted, he saw the 10 ball. And the 11. If he used enough force on the cue ball, he could sink both in one go.
He took aim. He fired. The cue ball zipped towards the other corner, knocked into the 10, which, in turn, pushed the 11, and the two dropped neatly into the corner pocket. Gladstone was only down by a single ball now.
Beakley was thoroughly impressed. For someone so obnoxiously drunk on luck, she’d figured, he had major skill at this.
Gladstone had landed the cue ball pretty close to the 13 ball. The angling seemed too slim to try for the side pocket, but if he could just get it back to the other side of the field…
He aimed for the opposite corner pocket. The cue ball knocked off the 13. The 13 rolled towards the pocket in question, tailed off a bit in speed, but on what was seemingly its last leg of momentum, ultimately dropped in.
Gladstone and Beakley stared at each other wordlessly. They knew this next pot would be for all the marbles.
Gladstone took his first shot at the 8 ball, aiming for the other corner on that side of the table. No luck.
That left the door open for Beakley, and she repositioned the cue ball, took aim, and finished Gladstone off by sinking the 8.
“Very nicely done,” Gladstone remarked quietly.
“Thank you,” Beakley answered. “You’re not so bad yourself. And now, I believe we had a wager?”
Gladstone fished around in his breast pocket, pulled out two $100 bills, and slammed them on the table. “There you are, Downton.”
Beakley nodded in acknowledgment. “Goodness, what time is it?” she wondered, checking her watch. “Well! Just about 12:30. That certainly whiled away time.”
“Yeah, it was actually pretty cool,” Gladstone added. “You’re like a regular Calisota Fats.”
“Well, I usually played either while undercover in my S.H.U.S.H. days, or against a fellow agent,” Beakley recalled. “‘‘Twas quite a rush. This was not too bad itself.”
Well, Gladstone was satisfied, and as much as Beakley was downplaying it, she was as well. So they bid each other good night, and returned to their rooms. As they did so, the same thought crossed both of their minds:
‘Who knew?’

Chapter Two of my Ekko x Reader story:
The metal ball rose and fell in a quiet rhythm, cutting through the charged silence of Jinx's hideout. Its arc mirrored the hum of the room—alive with faint clicks, distant buzzes, and the unpredictable crackle of electricity. Around you, the chaos of her world pressed in: wires coiled like veins across the floor, half-finished bombs resting precariously on shelves, and erratic sketches pinned crookedly on the walls. It was a place that seemed to breathe with her, alive in a way that only she could make it.
Jinx was perched on her stool, hunched over a grenade, its casing glinting under the flickering lights above. Her legs swung like a pendulum, the movement as restless as her hands, which worked with sharp precision, twisting parts into place. She hummed softly to herself, the tune as broken and disjointed as her surroundings.
And then, without warning, her voice broke the rhythm. "Where do you go?"
The ball stopped mid-air, caught cleanly in your hand. You blinked, her words cutting through the quiet hum. "What?"
She didn't look up, twirling a screwdriver like a dagger between her fingers. "You heard me," she said, her tone light but laced with something sharper. "Where do you go when you're not here? You show up, do your thing, then—poof!—you're gone." She waved the screwdriver in the air, punctuating the sound with a grin. "Like a ghost or somethin'."
You shrugged, the ball rolling across your fingers like second nature. "Maybe I just like my privacy."
Her head snapped up at that, her wide blue eyes narrowing as she swung her legs off the stool and hopped down. "Privacy," she repeated, her tone dripping with mock disdain. She paced the room now, long braids swaying with her every exaggerated step. "That's such a boring answer. I mean, c'mon! You don't just disappear for no reason." She spun on her heel, pointing the screwdriver at you like it was a secret she was about to pry loose. "You've got a lair, don't you? Some kinda spooky hideout where you do... I dunno, mysterious ghost stuff. Or—" her eyes lit up, and she bounced on her heels, "you're building bombs! You totally are! Tell me I'm right."
You laughed under your breath, tossing the ball again. "Not everything's about blowing stuff up, Jinx."
"Uh, yeah, it is," she shot back, throwing her hands in the air. "Blowing stuff up is the best part of life! What else is there?" Her voice tilted into a manic laugh, high and sharp, but her gaze lingered on you, curious and unrelenting. "Seriously, though. Where do you go? It's weird, y'know. Like, one minute you're here, and the next—" she snapped her fingers—"gone. Even Silco doesn't know. And I hate not knowing stuff."
The ball slowed in your hands, the rhythm breaking as you caught it one last time. "Maybe I just don't want to be found," you said, your voice quieter now.
Her grin twitched, and for a moment, something darker flickered in her eyes. "Pffft. That's so lame," she said, but her tone didn't quite match the words. "What, you think you're, like, mysterious or something? Some shadowy figure creeping around Zaun?" She rolled her eyes, but the energy in her movements dimmed ever so slightly.
"Maybe," you replied, leaning back against the table. "Or maybe I just know how to disappear."
Jinx stopped pacing then, standing still in the center of the room. Her gaze locked on you, and the grin faded into something smaller, more thoughtful. Her voice, when it came, was quieter. "Yeah. I guess disappearing's a thing some people are good at."
Her words lingered, hanging in the charged air between you. For once, she didn't press, didn't demand answers you weren't willing to give. Instead, she flopped back onto her stool with a dramatic sigh, muttering to herself as her hands returned to her work.
And just like that, the moment passed, fading into the hum of her world. But you could feel the question still lingering, unspoken but understood. In her own way, she knew better than to push too far. She had her secrets, and you had yours.
The metal ball traced its usual arc, catching the flicker of light from the swinging bulbs overhead as you tossed it up and down. Jinx didn't seem to notice, too absorbed in the grenade shell she was painting with erratic swirls of pink and green. Her tongue peeked out between her teeth, and her eyes darted between the colors like she was weaving chaos into the metal itself.
The two of you couldn't be more different, at least at first glance. She was a whirlwind—a volatile mix of genius and destruction. You, by contrast, prided yourself on your quiet efficiency, disappearing like smoke when the job was done. But over the years, you'd fallen into a rhythm, an unspoken understanding. Somehow, in the eye of the storm that was her world, you'd carved out a small space where you could exist alongside her, without pretense or walls.
The workshop buzzed with chaos as Jinx darted back and forth, tweaking this and hammering that, her movements erratic yet strangely graceful. Her voice broke the silence, a sing-song lilt barely masking the venom in her words.
"Progress Day," she drawled, stretching the syllables like a bad joke. "Piltover's big, shiny celebration of how brilliant they all are. Patting themselves on the back for being oh-so-advanced while the rest of us rot in the dirt." She paused, leaning against her cluttered workbench, twirling a wrench idly. "But you know what's funny?" Her eyes gleamed with manic delight. "This year, their stupid party's gonna go boom. Right in their smug little faces."
You leaned against the wall, arms crossed, watching her with intrigue. You'd come to expect Jinx's erratic nature and penchant for destruction, but this felt different—sharper, more purposeful. "Boom, huh?" you echoed, raising a brow. "You've got a plan, I take it?"
Jinx grinned, baring teeth. "Oh, I've got more than a plan. I've got a masterpiece." She slammed the wrench onto the table and leaned in close, eyes wide and wild. "But I need someone to help me pull it off. Someone with steady hands. Someone who knows how to slip in, get the job done, and slip out before anyone's the wiser." She tapped her chin, pretending to think. "You wouldn't happen to know anyone like that, would you?"
Your brow furrowed as the meaning behind her words sank in. "You're asking me to plant the bombs for you?"
"Bingo!" Jinx sang, spinning on her heel and throwing her arms wide. "You're way better at the sneaky stuff than me. I'm more of a smash-things-and-laugh kind of gal." She leaned in again, her eyes glinting. "But you? You're like a ghost. In and out, clean as a whistle. And once the party starts..." She clapped her hands together, her voice turning almost melodic. "I'll take care of the rest."
You hesitated, the weight of her request settling in. Breaking into Piltover's Progress Day preparations wasn't just risky—it was a declaration, a blatant middle finger to their so-called progress. But then again, wasn't that the point? Piltover's elites were insufferable in their self-righteousness, their smug belief that they were untouchable. The thought of shaking that foundation, of watching their perfect day fall apart, sent a thrill down your spine.
"What exactly are we talking about here?" you asked carefully. "Where do you want them?"
Jinx grinned and snatched up a set of blueprints from the table, spreading them out with a flourish. "The exhibit hall," she said, jabbing a finger at the layout. "They've got all their shiny new toys there, showing off for the crowds. You'll sneak in the night before and plant these babies—" she held up a handful of small, handmade explosives, each one painted in bright, mismatched colors, "—at key points. Nothing too flashy yet. Just enough to set the stage."
"And then you handle the grand finale?" you asked, eyeing the explosives with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
"Exactly!" Jinx's grin widened, manic and unrestrained. "When Progress Day kicks off, I'll light the fuse, and boom! All their big dreams go up in smoke."
You ran a hand through your hair, mulling it over. It wasn't an easy decision. This wasn't just vandalism or petty theft—this was a direct attack, and there would be fallout. But then again, you weren't exactly a beacon of morality, and the thought of making Piltover's elites choke on their own arrogance was hard to resist. Finally, you nodded.
"Alright, I'll do it," you said. "But you owe me for this, Jinx."
She whooped, throwing her arms around you in an overly enthusiastic hug before pulling back just as quickly. "You won't regret it, ghosty! This is gonna be legendary!" She shoved the explosives into your hands with a grin. "Go work your magic, and leave the rest to me. The Pilties won't know what hit 'em."
**********
The night was as silent as a held breath, the kind that clung to your lungs and begged for release. You moved through the shadows of Piltover like a whisper, your hood drawn low over your face, its fabric casting a veil of darkness that swallowed everything above your nose. The city lights glimmered in the distance, golden and proud, illuminating the cobblestone streets in pools of artificial starlight. But you were a shadow, slipping between the cracks of their arrogance, unseen and unaccounted for.
Your fingers ghosted over the rows of pockets lining your black vest, each touch brushing against the familiar weight of destruction. Bombs, small and precise, built for chaos. Jinx had demanded an onslaught, and you had delivered, your hands steady even as your heart felt the faintest twinge of unease. Not from the act itself—no, destruction was something you had made peace with long ago—but from the suffocating apathy of this place.
The people of Piltover wouldn't notice their doom even as it danced in front of their eyes, you thought bitterly. So enraptured were they by their towering achievements, their inventions, their untouchable prosperity. They didn't feel the fire licking at their heels, and you would make them feel it.
You moved with the precision of someone well-acquainted with the shadows, planting each device where Jinx had instructed. The base of a shimmering statue, the hollow belly of an ornate clock tower, the underside of a bridge lined with hextech-powered lights. Your hands worked deftly, the rhythmic clicks of latches and timers setting a grim melody for the night.
It was almost too easy.
When you finished the last bomb, you straightened, your gloved hand brushing the smooth fabric of your hood as you pulled it further down. You turned to leave, slipping back into the veins of Piltover, your heart steady. But then, like ice running down your spine, you felt it—a presence, the faint scrape of armored boots against stone. You barely had time to react before an iron grip clamped down around your arm.
A guard.
You snapped your head toward him, your hood slipping slightly to reveal a glint of your eyes beneath the shadow. The man was massive, encased in polished steel that glimmered faintly in the pale light. For a moment, neither of you moved, the tension as sharp as a blade. Then you struck.
Your free hand shot up, twisting against his armored wrist. His grip faltered, and you pulled away, but he was faster than you'd expected, swinging his arm in a wide arc. You ducked, narrowly avoiding the strike, before throwing a sharp kick to the side of his knee. He stumbled, but not for long.
The fight became a blur of motion. You darted and spun, your movements fueled by instinct and desperation. You weren't built for brute strength—this man was stronger, better equipped—but you were quick, and you used that to your advantage. A knife, small but wickedly sharp, slid into your palm from a sheath at your hip. You slashed at him, scoring shallow cuts in the gaps of his armor before slipping out of reach again.
It wasn't enough to stop him, but it slowed him, just barely. You could feel your energy waning, each move becoming heavier, but you refused to stop. With one final slash across his side, you broke away, leaving him cursing as you turned and ran.
And you ran.
His voice roared behind you, the clatter of his armor echoing as he gave chase. You sprinted through Piltover, weaving through its labyrinth of streets, your boots pounding against the stone. Lights flickered in windows above you, faint signs of life stirring as the commotion reached ears too curious for their own good.
Your lungs burned, each breath slicing through you like glass as you pushed yourself harder. The guard was relentless, his shouts carrying through the city like thunder, his footsteps closing in no matter how many sharp turns or narrow alleys you ducked into.
When the streets gave way to the edge of Piltover, where the pristine city bled into the jagged chaos of the Fissures, you didn't hesitate. You leaped, your body plummeting into the fractured depths below, the uneven terrain threatening to trip you with every step. The guard slowed, his shouts fading into frustration as he realized he couldn't follow you here—not without risking his life.
You didn't stop running until the city lights were nothing but a faint glow on the horizon, your legs trembling as you finally let yourself slow. You collapsed against a rock wall, the cold, jagged surface biting into your back as you ripped your hood off, gasping for air.
The bombs were planted. The job was done. But your pulse still thundered, your body humming with adrenaline as you stared into the darkness of the Fissures. Piltover had felt your presence tonight, if only for a fleeting moment. Soon enough, they'd feel much more.
The night stretched on, and after a few long, shuddering breaths, you finally found some semblance of calm. Your heart, still beating too fast, gradually slowed its frantic rhythm, the adrenaline in your veins turning to an unsettling stillness.
But you couldn't rest long—not really. Your eyes, always searching, flickered to the horizon where the last fading embers of Piltover's golden glow struggled to hold their ground against the swallowing dark. The weight of the city, its stone and steel, still clung to you.
You had no home. Haven't had one for years. The thought came as a sharp, bitter slice through your chest, but it wasn't new. It wasn't something that surprised you anymore. There was nothing to anchor you here, nothing but memories of places you once stayed and left behind. The world didn't care about the lonely wanderer.
But there was another reason you never stayed in one place for too long, a reason you didn't dare acknowledge to anyone—not even yourself, not fully. The idea gnawed at you, growing more persistent with each passing day. If something were to go wrong—if you ever reached the point where you couldn't follow Silco's cause anymore, if his plan ceased to make sense or lost its value—he couldn't kill you. You could disappear, like you always did, and that would be the end of it.
You can't kill what you can't find.
That thought clung to you, a splinter deep in your skin, guiding every step you took. It was a survival instinct now, a means of protection you had learned long ago. You could never stay anywhere long enough for someone to track you, never give them the chance to draw a map of where you would be next.
So you wandered.
You didn't think about it, not really. Your feet carried you without purpose, the rough, uneven path beneath your boots nothing more than the familiar hum of survival. The air had a bite to it now, cool against the warmth of your skin, but you barely noticed.
Then, as if by some instinct, the land ahead shifted—uneven, jagged—something out of place in the open expanse of the Fissures. You squinted, noticing the subtle dip in the terrain, the faint outline of something that felt like shelter, a break in the cold, open void.
A sewage system.
You approached it without thought, the shadows creeping inside like an invitation. It was a wide opening, a little dark and cold, but it was enough—enough to be alone, enough to hide, enough to rest. You didn't hesitate, not this time.
Slipping inside, you pressed your back against the cool, rough stone. The pipe was large, stretching far past your eyes reach, but in that moment, it was everything you needed. There was no one here to see you, no one here to ask you questions, no one here to keep track of where you were going.
For the first time in a long while, you felt the weight of the world slip from your shoulders, even if just for a moment.
Your breath slowed, and you pulled your knees to your chest, wrapping your arms around them, as if the world outside couldn't reach you, couldn't touch you here. The bombs you carried, the plans you followed, the life you lived all felt distant, faded in the quiet dark.
Tomorrow, you would rise again. Tomorrow, you would keep moving. But for tonight, this small, hidden place was enough. It was all you had—because in the end, it was the only thing that kept you alive.
And Silco? He wouldn't find you. Not here.

- Menace
- that facility arial shot is so cool
- OH SHIT IT'S THIS ONE
- replicator lore time!!! It's been a while since I've caught up on the Milkyway replicator lore so I'm excited
‐ something I never understood is how Reese started making Replicators. The Ancients made the human form ones in Pegasus, the bug ones are in the Asgard galaxy, where did Reese's knowledge of them come from? Was her "dad" an ancient? Where did the bug form come from? Did she make them and then the Ancients came across them and made their own advanced ones?
- stop this whole ramp scene is so sad 😭
- The Sentinel
- oooooh this one
- "you don't think that the NID are capable of lying" "indeed I do" XD

Internet Boy ☆ (Satoru Gojo x Reader College AU) Part 1/???
Starting my 2nd semester tomorrow so here's this to celebrate
Tumblr media
College, ah college. You really didn't have much else to say for it. You didn't really hate it or love it per say, you were just there. Enter you, the person not many people talked to, the one who always participated in class yet still didn't know what the hell they were doing, and how could I forget, the one who's also taking 17 credits this semester for God knows what reason.
6 classes? Yeah, pffft, no big deal (it's not like you almost failed your 5 classes the first semester). Your first day of your second semester was steadily approaching, and surprisingly, you felt ready for it.
You hopped on your phone to text your group chat made up of online friends.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You rolled your eyes as you put your phone down. Might as well get ready for tomorrow.
You entered your first class and greeted your professor. Just as class was about to start, enter Satoru Gojo, college’s biggest prick. You had some classes with him last semester, and for some reason, he always seemed to want to annoy you and you alone. All the girls would swoon over him and then stare daggers at you as he always chose to sit next to you. And wouldn't you know, he's doing it again. He slid into the chair next to you before smirking. “Heh, wassup Y/N.” he greeted you with a wink.
You groaned. “Shut it, Satoru.”
“Aw…. You still mad at me?” he pouted.
“You were almost late to class… again.” you said, trying to change the subject.
“So? It's the first day. Not like they expect much.” he laughed, leaning back in his chair.
“Way to set the expectations even lower…” you sighed.
Gojo stuck his tongue out at you making you roll your eyes. You ignored him the rest of the class. It was pretty simple, just read over your syllabus and introduce yourself to people in the class. Of course in your circumstance, you had to be paired with Gojo.
He (as always) wasn't paying attention and was on his phone. “Ahem”
He glanced up at you before putting his phone away hurriedly. “Wazzup?”
“We're doing introductions… Since we're like the only two sitting here, I'm stuck with you.”
He smirked before sighing, “Fine by me. It's easier than actually having to introduce myself to someone. Oh, what major are you again?”
“For the fifth time, it's psychology.”
“Right… right. Why did ya pick something that boring?”
“To see what the hell is wrong with people like you.” you spat at him.
His hand shot up to his chest, faking pain. “Ouch Y/N… low blow.”
“Bet you haven't even decided your major.”
“Oh, I have… kinda.” he muttered. You cocked an eyebrow causing him to stutter even more. “I-I mean… it's probably not permanent but for now I'm doing theater—”
“Perfect, maybe your dramatic ass can finally annoy someone who's not me.”
“Daw, but I thought we were friends—!” he started.
“As if. Now, I'll be leaving. Suggest you're not late for your next class.”
On the way to your next class, you checked your phone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You chuckled lightly to yourself. Gods he's hopeless… wasn't he like this with a girl last semester too? He really should change his name… maybe that's what's putting them off.

No 22 with prc for the prompts bc they deserve a nap </3
(ask prompts here!) 643 words, oghghhghhh
______
Inny was the last one of the trio to clock out.
The other two hadn’t left yet, the both of them waiting in the basement while they got their things, so Inny took their time. While they didn’t get tired in ways that were typical for humans, their systems felt worn out from the day’s work.
They had been working overtime lately, and while they had tomorrow off, Inny couldn’t help but feel exhausted regardless. They opened the door to the hospital basement, carefully descending the stairs as they listened for their partners.
“We can’t stay cozy here,” Ian mumbled, his voice followed by a muffled groan of protest from Ada. “We’re never gonna get home if we do.”
“Jus’ a nap would be nice, though,” Ada whined, and Inny leaned to catch a glimpse of her sprawled out on the basement’s sofa. “Oh- there you are.”
« Sleepy? » Inny signed out simply, and both of their partners nodded reluctantly.
“Won’t it be more comfortable sleeping at home, though?” Ian tried again to reason with Ada, though it was clear he was losing this fight. His eyes were dark with sleep deprivation, and while he was currently trying to lift Ada’s head off the sofa’s armrest, it looked like he was more in the mood to settle in beside her.
“I feel dead on my feet,” Ada mumbled. She could tell she was beginning to sway Ian into her camp, so she lifted her head enough for him to take a seat. “And you look like you’re about to pass out. Inny too.”
The Intern paused, but they nodded. « I think… just a short nap would be good. Like fifteen minutes. Then we could maybe go out to eat somewhere? Get takeout? »
“You’d do that for us?” Ian yawned, settling in with a pillow on his lap for Ada to rest her head.
Inny nodded, reaching into their pocket to pull out their phone to set up an alarm. « Just a short nap will help. Then we’ll have the energy to walk home, and I’ll get the food. Sound good? »
Ada made a hum of approval, before lifting her legs up so Inny could settle in on the other end of the sofa. They chuckled silently, grabbing another pillow to put under her legs before Ada laid out on the sofa again.
“Hey,” Ada murmured, getting Inny’s attention. “Thanks.”
« Pffft- it’s not much, why are you thanking me? »
“Even like this you’re still only thinking about us. You’re too sweet,” she said, looking down at where her legs sat across the Intern’s lap. “I’ve told you it’s not that uncomfortable getting comfy on the couch with you, but you still grab a pillow anyway. Sappy dork.”
The Intern’s chassis made a puff of air that almost sounded like a scoff. They reached over and smoothed out Ada’s hair, the action making her mumble sleepily. « I just… worry a lot about being difficult to love with a body like this. If I can make you comfortable, that’s all the better for me. »
“’Difficult’, they say,” Ian murmured, already half asleep where he sat. “Like you’re not literally one in a million or anything.”
« Just the other week you had to help me get a baseball out of my screen- »
“Shhhh. No moping. You’re really cute and I love you.” Ian reached across the couch, taking Inny’s hand and giving it a squeeze. “Mechanical parts and all.”
Ada’s fingers wrapped around their joined hands, holding them close. “Mhm. We love ya.”
They still had a lot of insecurities rattling around their chest, but the Intern sighed and squeezed back. « Let’s just get some rest. Alright? »
They were answered by tired hums of agreement, so the trio got comfortable.
Just a small break.

Voiceplay Visuals: Drunken Sailor
Man I've been waiting to get to this one!
Drunken Sailor was uploaded on the 12th of August, 2023, and like the other pirate-themed video Voiceplay did akmost two years prior, it features Jose Rosario Jr! It also features Matthew Buckner (aka "Bucky") in an acting role, as the "drunken sailor" that Voiceplay sing about. "Bucky" used to be a vocalist in "4:2:Five" for a while (iirc), and he's good friends with Geoff, and even helped with the choreography for Geoff's Monster Mash video! Just like Hoist The Colours, both the arrangement and video were done by Geoff (who also wrote an original bridge for the song! (genius that he is)), and he also co-directed the video (with Tony), and worked together with Eli on lighting design. This might be one of those posts where I get close to the picture-upload-maximum and have to start counting them just in case, but still, it would be for good reason! So let's go!
Tumblr media
Group shot! Shoutout to Pattycake Productions for the set design!
I'm not sure if any of the group are wearing any of the same clothing pieces they wore in Hoist The Colours (I did a brief bit of visual comparison), but Jose, acting as the captain of this "ragtag motley crew" once more, is pretty close.
Also, Geoff is going with the bare-shoulders look again (we always stan), but so is Cesar! (Good For Him)
Tumblr media
Not even 10 seconds in and I've already found a funnier-than-first-expected/realized screencap! I'm not sure whose face I love more here - Layne's or Geoff's 😂😂
Tumblr media
Obligatory comment that Geoff was absolutely serving looks in this video! The subtle "guyliner" plus the light stubble and the black sleeveless shirt/tunic? I freaking live for it 👀👌
Tumblr media
Jose staring right down the camera, and Cesar giving 110% as per usual 😄
Tumblr media
Pfft XD
Tumblr media
Crazy Eyes Layne back again! 😆
Also look at Eli's face! He's terrified by the story that Layne is 'telling'!
Tumblr media
"I'll have that!" (also notice that when Layne makes the whale "eat"/bite the boat, Eli covers his head with his hands in distress! The Lore! The Lore!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PFFFT, if looks could kill! 🤣 (and the fact that he's still beatboxing the whole time really makes this 👌)
Voiceplay said in the comments (in a reply to someone) that "there were a few different takes of this shot, and this was the one where it looked the MOST like Layne was gonna burst into flame." I think they nailed it 😝😁
Tumblr media
"Stick him in a scupper with a hosepipe bottom!"
Firstly, it sounds at least like Cesar is singing "hosepipe bottom", but the original line is "hosepipe on him". And despite what Cesar is implying with the wooden toilet seat, the line has nothing to do with toilets or bathrooms. A "scupper" is "an opening in the side walls of a vessel or an open-air structure, which allows water to drain instead of pooling" (according to Wikipedia). Ships have scuppers at deck-level, to allow for rainwater and/or seawater to drain off. So basically the line about "stick him in the scupper with a hosepipe on him" is about spraying the drunken sailor in question with a hose[pipe] (to try to sober him up with a dousing of cold water), in a part of the ship where the water can easily drain away afterwards.
Tumblr media
"ew I can't believe I just touched that!"
Tumblr media
Yes, that doll is definitely creepy, and I have no clue where Geoff got it from or what gave him the idea, but, according to Geoff in the comments section (comment from Voiceplay's channel, but it was almost definitely him who wrote it): "Her name is Clara and SHE HAS FEELINGS!" 😅
Also, the line "put him in the bed with the captain's daughter" probably isn't actually meant to be taken literally either. The main consensus that I've seen online is that "the captain's daughter" actually referred to a cat-'o'-nine-tails whip. (Not talking about the vocals or arrangement, I'm talking about song background/context! Which I've done before!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
EAR-LY IN THE M O O R R R N I I N N G G G
Tumblr media
*YEET*
Tumblr media
"Hey that's my cup!" (rip Eli)
Tumblr media
Hey look it's the screencap my profile pic comes from! (And for good reason - Geoff is positively unhinged and Cesar's reaction is priceless 🤣)
Also apparently Geoff holding a wooden spoon while singing "I'm gonna carve his heart out" is a reference to the 1991 movie Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves. "Why a spoon, cousin? Why not an axe?" "Because it's dull, you twit. It'll hurt more!"
Tumblr media
"And we should make him listen to Voiceplay while we do it!" "You... are a monster"
(I freaking died laughing first time I watched this bit, also look at Eli's smug grin! 😂)
Tumblr media
Have I mentioned that he's gorgeous and I love him?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This video is really just pure unbridled/chaotic fun. It's the best 😁
Tumblr media
Cesar twerking! Get it!
Tumblr media
It took me an embarassingly long time to release that Geoff isn't actually sitting down in this shot here; he's kneeling instead 😅
Also note that while Layne, Eli, Cesar, and Geoff all freeze into place (in what is apparently sometimes known as a "tableau shot", Jose doesn't, instead doing a little bit of fourth-wall-breaking to give the audience a lighthearted half-shrug 😄
And no, I haven't forgotten the "bonus scene"!
Tumblr media
"HEY! Hey, I'm not drunk!"
Tumblr media
I'm just tired, because you simpletons been singing all night!"
(Also ayyy another Eli Eyebrow Raise!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Wey, hey, and up she rises. Wey, hey, and up she rises. Wey, hey, and UP she rises! Ear-ly in the morn... ONCE AGAIN!"
Aaaaand I've officially hit image limit! At least I did make some attempts to be conservative with screenshots! 😅
This cover is utterly fantastic - all the silliness of "Classic Voiceplay", with the serious skills and high-quality video production of "Modern Voiceplay"! The video is hilarious, the cover is ridiculously creative, and really it just highlights all of the things to love about each person in the video, visually/performance-wise and vocally!
Not many Voiceplay videos left for me to make posts about now, but there are certainly still ridiculously-amazing things to come, so stay tuned!
