Horses and sunshine, it doesn’t get much better. Watching them run and play on in open paddock is so beautiful. These angels were rescued from the sale yards and are now living a life of love and freedom. These gorgeous little munchkins are now safe in care after being found by a member of the public in a park all alone with no mother in sight. They are currently in foster care where they are safe,warm and loved and once old enough, they will be fully vet worked and placed up for adoption. We must say how much we respect Pets Haven Animal Shelter and their employees, volunteers and foster carers xx Quite a lot of amazing people were involved in saving Charlotte today. Miss Charlotte was saved from a death row pound - Heavily pregnant, with 6-8 babies and approximately a week or so to go before she gives birth (her X-ray is amongst these photos)~ Covered in numerous ticks ~ Demodectic mange ~ This darling girl was seen by one of our veterinarians today before she was treated and released into foster care. Did you know our Veterinary clinic provides numerous services like Entropion surgery. Entropion is an abnormality of the eyelids in which the eyelid rolls inward. This inward rolling often causes the hair on the surface of the eyelid to rub against the cornea resulting in pain, corneal ulcers, perforations, or pigment developing on the cornea which can interfere with vision. Little Bear had his surgery at our clinic yesterday and is recovering quite well. Though in occasional cases, despite excellent medical and surgical management, entropion can at times recur. Let’s hope little Bear fully recovers. If you are worried about your pet or think he/she might have an entropion issue, please contact our veterinary clinic. Hi Guys Pets Haven Foundation have rescued this amazing dog, Molly, who is in extremely poor condition. Our experienced shelter veterinarians have never seen a dog poorly previously. Molly has multiple enormous mammary tumours. We estimate that these are approximately 4-5kg in weight. Poor Molly is unable to properly walk due to the immense weight of these tumours. Her nails are severely overgrown and she has a few other manageable medical conditions such as ear infections and skin infections. Here we are taking chest X-rays to ensure there is no metastasis to her chest. Thankfully, her chest is clear and we can proceed to the intensive surgery now.
