I know nothing about vodka brands, I guess Tito’s is supposed to be good tho. Usually I get “the white and blue label, with the Russian name, over there” or Hood River, which is next door to whiteboard cleaner tbh.

- vodka, gingerale, grenadine, lime and a cherry, which I think is technically a dirty shirley

- this sounds objectively disgusting but one time I was really sick and I wanted something hot to drink, so I asked Chelsea for hot water and vodka with a lime wedge and it turned out to taste pretty good

- vodka and pepsi

- screwdrivers, which I avoid because I drink them too quickly

- vodka and flavored sparkling water, usually lime.

So I accidentally went to bed at like 7 pm last night. I just hurt so bad and I thought I was only laying down to stop feeling so crazy from the constant pain...and then I woke up at 230 in the morning. I didn't eat dinner so the caprese chicken was never made. I moved it to later in the week.

I was dying this morning. There's a kind of crazy that takes over when I'm under constant, grinding pain. It's like TV static and it starts read quiet in the background but eventually it's everywhere blocking what I hear and see and I want to scream but it'll get inside my mouth... I know, my therapist doesn't know what to make of my descriptions, either. Anyway, the result is I broke into my muscle relaxants. It took the edge off. Unfortunately, I only have 5 left. They last 8 hours. I'm gonna try to make this last a week. It's not gonna work but I'mma try.

I still feel like I'm getting stabbed if I move to fast. I still scream when it happens, every fucking time. That's part of why I don't want to go to UC. I don't just scream. Sometimes I scream obscenities. Nothing like shouting, "MOTHERFUCKER!" at the top of your lungs in public.

Pumpkin held down her dinner but then she threw up bile this morning. She's not restless (first time in weeks that she slept the whole night through in one position, actually) and she's not drinking excessively (but every time she gets a drink, I panic) and she still wants food but of course my brain goes immediately to bloat. I even palpated her tummy yesterday but she feels normal. I want to take her to emergency anyway because I panic over her regularly, let alone when she's actually sick, but I'm kind of trapped with my back being what it is and it wouldn't be my money. Mom says she doesn't need to go to emergency so we're not going to emergency.

I did get clothes and it was more than $100 but I had some rewards and coupons and brought it down by $78 so it was only like $125 or $135 or something. I had to negotiate. I have to ditch one item of clothing from my current wardrobe for every item of clothing I bought. That's fine, I was prepared for that. But we bickered over the dresses I wanted. There was a little mini swing dress I really liked that I could wear with leggings but it had little puff sleeves and mom said it was too babyish for me. She never complains about my (frankly, weird) wardrobe choices so I knew I had to give in. I really liked the pattern, though, and found it in a long dress with no puffy sleeves and she liked that one.

I also got that dress in a lavender floral (first was black with purple), a mini dress in sunshine yellow (I had to give up one in hot pink but the yellow really spoke to me for some reason), two tunic camis (she was all "they look see-through," first of all, no, but second of all, I layer them with my transparent clothes or when I want some smoothing; when have I ever just worn a cami as a shirt? has she met me?), a fleece cardigan that was on sale, a sweatshirt with thumbholes (!!!), a long sleeve shirt in the prettiest color blue ever, and a t-shirt with strawberries all over it. The last two will never see the light of day because the only time I wear t-shirts is to sleep but I'll enjoy them. 😌

Tonight I'm (maybe) going to make gnocchi alla vodka. Gnocchi recipe via @petepetepete and vodka recipe via my brain. Supposed to top it with a cloud egg but we'll see. I'm not sure I'm up for any fuss and if mom's doing it she...won't do it. Some kind of egg will happen. I have little baby baguettes I can make into garlic bread if we want extra carbs, otherwise I'm just pairing this with a Caesar salad yes that is too a vegetable shut up.

I have the worst fucking dry mouth today and it's driving me crazy. Is it the meds? Fuck.

Anyway. How is everyone? What is happening this weekend?
