strictly opinions - first half

Nick (jive) - i honestly love how much he clearly cares about doing his absolute best & his enthusiasm is so lovely to see!! and it wasn't as bad as i was expecting (but could we get luba a good partner at some point please. please.)

Sam (foxtrot) - switched off a little bit ngl but she's gorgeous and the bits i saw looked very smooth and elegant :)

Shayne (samba) - i thought he was fab (judges disagreed). loads of energy, BUCKETS of personality which i love to see and great hips

Toyah (tango) - oh dear. who allowed neil to choreograph those head turns.

Tasha (cha cha) - sooo good, one of my picks for the final for sure (then again she has experience so that was expected). i love how cheeky she is, FANTASTIC legs, looks great both in hold and by herself

JB (waltz) - waltz is my least favourite dance but damn they got me hooked. i LOVE their partnership, his feet look lovely, literally zero gapping, overall really really good. (amy got me SOBBING, and such sweet choreo). it does still seem a little like amy is leading but it's week 1 so that's expected really.

Pete (paso doble) - first things first can jowita be my wife please? as for pete... bit too enthusiastic? yet somehow lacklustre? in the zone, leads very well. i think he's gonna be a more fun latin guy.
