Finding pet products online discount store for your pet care supplies
If you're a pet owner, you know how expensive pet product supplies can get over time. Luckily, the Internet has allowed many pet stores to offer discount pet supplies. Some companies are wholesale suppliers that get the products at a discount and pass the savings on; others are pet stores that want to thin out their inventory so they offer products online at a discount. If you shop around and compare prices, you can find food, toys, beds, clothing, and pet travel carrier kennel at reduced prices.
Tumblr media
Start searching for ‘pet products online discount store’. You can use any Google or Bing to put in search terms that will lead you to different sites. Many of these discount sites are wholesalers. You will find a variety of products, separated by category, at many of these sites. You can also search popular pet suppliers and see what they have on sale.
Besides the reduction of overall cost on the supplies, you can use coupons and free shipping offers to save even more money. Some stores offer coupons to returning customers. These can either be a percentage off or a certain amount of money off an order that's over a certain purchase amount. The only downside to these coupons is that you have to make an initial purchase in order to get your contact information into the system and the company will start sending you savings information. Online stores like ‘Golden Pet Style’ also offer free shipping on all orders over a certain amount. By combining these savings, you can get your pet supplies for a greatly reduced rate.

I'm on my break and wifey has the day off, so she's sneaking a nap while she can between my sessions, and bro, EVERY animal in the house is asleep on top of some part of her. The cats are on her hip, the small dog is on her legs, the big one is pressed up against her back. It's goddamn adorable, they all love her so much.
I feel like all the pets have been getting really anxious after two years in this apartment. The dogs get to go out every day at least, but the cats really have been starting to struggle even with everything we try to do to make it livable for them. I'm really glad it's coming to an end, because I don't think it would be good for them to have to go through it much longer. I'm really looking forward to being able to provide them an entirely new level of comfort and enrichment. I know the trip itself will be rough on the cats, but hopefully they'll find the house enough to their liking to make up for it. I might talk to the vet about getting them meds for the trip honestly. They both get anxious about travel, and it might be better if they could just be sleepy lil muffins instead.
Either way, we'll try to make the trip as easy as we can for them. We've got their carriers, travel toys, favorite treats, and everything we need to make it a good trip. I think we might set up and secure the dog's kennel in the trunk and have them ride there for the trip rather than in their backseat hammock. They won't have as much freedom, so we'll have to stop and walk them more often, but I think they'll be safer given how far we'll be driving and how much highway driving we'll be doing. Seems better than risking them being distracting in the backseat, especially with Tobi's recent habit of trying to climb up front, where I expect we'll want the cats to be secured. One of us will drive our car and the other will drive the moving truck, so it'll be one person per car, and probably a two day trip with a motel for the night somewhere. Then pick up the keys, unload the truck, and figure out where to put our limited belongings lol.
Ugh, I have to buy storage tubs soon. I should probably run to to hardware store or something.

Tips for Travelling with Your Cocker Spaniel
Tumblr media
Being a pet parent can be a fulfilling but challenging experience. How? Well, pets are just like kids, and when you are travelling with kids, you need to be extra careful and plan differently than what you do with adults. Every dog breed is different, and if you have a cocker spaniel or are thinking about getting a cocker spaniel for sale in Birmingham, preparing for travel in advance is essential if you want to do it with your dog. Need tips? To kick things off, here are some pet parent hacks for travelling with your fur pal.
The Preparatory Stage
In the very first stage, you need to take care of various things, ranging from the veterinary check-up to packing essentials. Ensure your Cocker spaniel is up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health. Also, discuss your travel plans with your vet. You can get essential health certificates if you are travelling by air or crossing international borders, along with answers and advice on your travel-specific concerns, such as motion sickness and anxiety.
Don’t forget to prepare a travel kit that includes your dog’s favourite food, treats, toys, bedding, and grooming supplies, along with a first-aid box. Getting a sturdy leash and collar with updated identification tags is crucial, as is a recent photograph of your pet, in case they get lost. Also, introduce your Cocker spaniel to the travel carrier or crate well in advance. Make it a positive experience by placing treats and familiar items inside so they feel comfortable during the travel.
The Transportation Stage
This stage is the same for all purebred puppies for sale. Secure your Cocker Spaniel with a well-ventilated crate or pet seat belt. Make regular stops for exercise, bathroom breaks, and hydration. Never leave your dog alone in the car, especially in hot weather. For air travel, check the airline’s pet policy, book a direct flight if possible, and use an airline-approved carrier labelled with your contact information and “Live Animal” stickers. Arrive early for check-in with all necessary documents.

Safety First: How Door Kennels Enhance Home Security for Pets
Adding a new family member of the furry type, raises the question, should the puppy or dog be introduced to a crate or kennel? There are several schools of thought on this question. Some believe that putting a dog in a crate or kennel is cruel as it is too confining and takes away some of the dogs freedom. Some people have the notion that a kennel is a form of punishment.  Have you heard the idiom that someone is "in the dog house". It is an expression that is used to denote someone has committed some negative or unpleasant behavior. Perhaps that idiom has lead some folks to think of a kennel as a punishment place.
We can look at the pros and cons of using a kennel in your home for your furry friend.  Lets begin with the positives of using a kennel in your home as there are many ways a kennel is best for the dogs safety.
A kennel can act like a den, which many experts believe is part of a dog’s natural instinct. It can serve as a safe place for your dog to retreat when he/she is tired or doesn’t feel well. The kennel can be a place of comfort for the dog to get away from a busy household and can provide safety and security for your pet from kids who might be playing rough. It also provides a way for the dog to escape visiting children who might be on the energetic side when playing with dog. There are times when we all need a break from a hectic day and a kennel provides a place for the dog to get his/her break. Kennels give dogs a place to deal with their anxiety during situations where they become distressed like during fireworks, thunderstorms, or nearby heavy construction activity.
For recuse dogs a kennel provides a safe space for them to adjust to their new surroundings and having a space that is their own.  Rescue dogs may be fearful of situations that we would not think as stressful. But before their rescued day, many situations may have caused them stress or harm or neglect. Giving  the rescued dog his own territory where no one will hurt them is very reassurng for the dog.
If your dog is in a kennel when you’re not home, you won’t have to worry that your dog will chew on something that could cause harm to himself. It is also better to have your dog in a kennel when you are not home versus outside in unpleasant temperature or weather related conditions.
Trips to the vet or grooming visits and travel in general are easier and safer when your dog has been accustomed to a kennel.  They are more apt to easier adjust to getting in a carrier for those trips.
Indoor kennels are  an effective way to house train. Dogs don’t like to sleep in the same place they potty. Using a crate helps them learn how to control their eliminations when they are inside and makes the entire process of potty training easier and less stressful for both you and the dog.
There are pros and cons to every question so lets look at the cons.
It is extremely important to make sure the kennel is the proper size for the dog. Your furry friend should be able to stand and turn around comfortably in the kennel. A kennel that is too small can cause physical harm and stress.
Kennels should be assembled properly and provide adequate ventilation.
The kennel should not be used for long periods and not used as a punishment.
The cons can be avoided when a kennel is used properly. So the final decision on using a kennel should be made with the dogs safety in mind. A kennel is a safe space and that should be a top consideration.

10 Steps to Prepare Your Pet for a Move
Moving can be exciting, especially if you’re moving far away, perhaps even to a foreign land. But preparing to move is a big chore. All that list-making, and packing. The chaos. You have to psych yourself up for it.
Pets are affected psychologically by the moving process, too. They see changes and feel your stress. They may become anxious and wonder if they're losing their place in your life. Cats, especially, aren’t keen on change. Cats and dogs often respond to the perceived loss of control by acting out. They can go into hiding, become clingy, or take up unwanted behaviors such as “forgetting” their house training.
Tumblr media
This is a time that calls for a lot of patience and understanding. Looking at the situation from your pet’s point of view will help you prepare them to move. These 10 steps will help, too.
1 - Flight arrangements
While making plane reservations for yourself may not be difficult, a lot more factors come into play when pets are traveling. The easiest and most fail-safe solution is to have a professional pet transport company handle your pet's travel arrangements. With everything else you have to juggle during a move, knowing your dog or cat is in the best possible hands will give you priceless peace of mind.
2 - Paperwork
Make it a priority to find out what documents and health requirements your pet will need. Depending on where you’re headed, it may take several weeks or months to pull it all together. Every country has its own set of pet import requirements. You will have to comply exactly or risk your pet being denied entry. So once you know what you need, schedule a trip to your veterinarian to get the process started. Your pet may need additional tests, vaccinations, etc., and an accredited vet will have to sign the final paperwork.
3 - Medical history
Request a full set of your pet’s medical records so you can provide a history to your new vet in your new destination.
4 - Medications & special food
Does your dog or cat take medications or require a special diet? Make sure you have a supply that will last until you arrive at your new home. Be sure to contact a local vet so you can find the same or similar products in your new location.
5 - Know the local rules
Research pet ownership laws and etiquette in your new location, so you’ll be prepared to blend right in and make new human and four-legged friends right away.
6 - Maintain a routine
Despite the fact that you’re busy with moving preparations, do everything you can to maintain your pet’s regular daily routine. That includes feeding and walk times as well as the location of his food and water bowls and sleeping spot.
7 - Make a safe space
Separate your pet from the biggest chaos of all – the arrival of the movers. Clear out a room they can have to themselves, or take your dog to daycare. Your pet can skip the stress, and they won’t be underfoot where they might get hurt or escape.
8 - Familiar items
As you’re packing up your pet’s belongings, hold back a favorite toy or two till the last minute. That way, they will have the consistent reassurance of something familiar. Consider packing those favorite toys in your carry-on bag, if your pet will be flying on board with you to your new destination. Or pack the toys in your luggage if your pet is traveling as cargo. Either way, your pet will be reunited with something familiar to them as soon as you arrive at your new home.
9 - Travel kennel acclimation
Perhaps the single most important thing you can do to prepare your pet for a move is to acclimate them to the travel carrier. Your dog may already be crate-trained, but your cat may associate the kennel with trips to the vet. Regardless, an IATA-compliant travel kennel is very different from an at-home crate. These kennels have to meet strict requirements for pet safety. And you have to buy the proper size crate for your pet. Purchase the kennel as soon as possible, so your pet has plenty of time to get familiar with it. The more comfortable your pet is is, the calmer they will be on their journey to your new home. Leave the carrier out in the open, with the door open. Put toys and treats in it, so your pet will associate going inside with good things. Encourage them to play or sleep in the carrier, lining it with a small blanket or pad that smells like home.
10 - Quality time
Finally, spend as much time with your pet as possible – playing or hanging out on the couch – so they know you still love them. With more “together time,” you’ll both be better prepared for your move.

How Pet Travel Services Transport Your Furry Ones
For the whole family, moving or going on holiday to a whole new city can be an incredibly stressful endeavour until having reached your destination. However, this stress is only ever multiplied when you find yourself travelling with your pets. While this may just be an extra passenger that is joining you for your trip, this is a passenger that brings a whole lot of complications with it, ensuring that you remain prepared leading up to this expedition before hiring pet travel services.
While it is true that we all love our pets the same, it is just as true that not all pets are the same. Some of our pets may bring up far more complications than others, especially if they are older, larger, or even if they have special needs that need to be attended to. Additionally, there may be situations that can prevent you from being allowed to bring your pet along with you entirely, such as if their vaccinations or veterinary records are not up to standard, or even if you bring a crate of the wrong size. These are only a small handful of the things that need to be considered when travelling overseas, the list of which can vary greatly from country to country.
However, in a perfect world where all of these factors have been correctly attended to, you can expect your furry one to reach its planned destination in a variety of ways. Generally speaking, your chosen pet travel services may transport your pet by air, shuttle or even a combination of the two. Depending on your budget you can either have your pet travel with other pets to keep each other company or have them take a private trip by themselves, which can often cost far more.
Once the journey has begun, your pet will be required to travel in their airline-approved kennel or carrier. Depending on the services that you choose, you will either be required to provide them with access to water, or your service provider will handle this for you instead. Similarly, they will also be provided with routine exercise breaks and be provided with all their necessary medications and scheduled meals too.
However, such services are able to offer your pets far more than what has just been lifted above. As they essentially travel agents for your furry ones. With this in mind, these travel agents will make sure that your pets have their required documents completed before embarking on your journey. Additionally, they will also arrange that your pet is able to receive their certificate of health from all necessary domestic and international bodies that will then allow them to travel between locations freely, and so that they are able to receive all necessary vaccinations.
Better yet, if you plan on travelling internationally, these pet travel services will even help you book flights, arrange all the necessary quarantines, as well as escort your pet through and help complete all customs procedures and any other necessary paperwork.
As you may be able to tell, there is a lot that goes into relocating your furry ones, so thankfully we have pet travel services by our side!
