The biggest pet family portrait ever!!!

This was a birthday gift to perhaps my oldest friend. I grew up spending most weekends at her house, and although my parents never wanted more than our one cat, I still got to play with all manner of dogs, cats, chinchillas and guinea pigs during those crazy days. It was a nice time getting to draw all of them in turn and relive some good old memories!

Pet Portrait: Trios

This has been a work long in the making! Commissioned by a good friend of mine, she wanted a portrait of her three pups together that also showed off their lil toes lol  Oreo, Doug, and Comet! I don't often do pet portraits as I've never been able to nail down a style for them that I like, but wanted to give them a shot to find out. Friend was so patient and generous letting me experiment with her commission - and with things going on it took a lot longer than I would have liked;; but she's super happy with how her babies turned out, and I'm happy being trusted to take them on <33

probably will continue to be a lil quiet with art around here until after boomer's surgery monday, i'm really worried about him ;w; especially after the surgery, the one spot he's having removed is right where his leg moves, so the vet said it'll be a challenge to heal :/ i just really love my boy, i just want him to be safe and healthy ;w;
