anyways. I fucking redid the bastard. some things were just bothering me. much happier now 💜 (reposting caption from original)

s8 third doctor redesign. wanted to make him a bit more scruffy n add a few self indulgent features, like the the tail and the nails, and the slightly longer fingers. the suspenders are also very self indulgent, I wanted to stick with his vibe of frills and velvet but change it ever so slightly. for my redesigns, all time lords have this sort of tail and longer fingernails (might do it with the longer fingers too) 💜

Serial: Spearhead from Space - Ep.1: It's 1970. We have a new Doctor. We have colour. We have Liz and the Brig. Let's go!

It's a bit Carry On Doctor with the whizzing around in wheelchairs and comedy hospital staff.

Serial: Spearhead from Space - Ep.2: Nope. Nope. Nope. I hate Autons. Loving Pertwee!Doctor's tattoo. Nothing like starting a regeneration with a bit of joyriding.

Serial: Spearhead from Space - Ep.3: I love Liz. I love the Doctor's cape. I really do hate Autons. Theyre the creepiest Who villain imo.

Serial: Spearhead from Space - Ep.4: The shop mannequins coming alive and walking the high street, killing people is something I remember watching as a kid and being utterly terrified. This has been a fun serial, though. Great start to 3's run.

Serial: Doctor Who & the Silurians - Ep.1 - 3: Bessie! I wish this guy wasn't called Dr Quinn. Liz is so smart. The Doctor is so gentle with her.

Serial: Doctor Who & the Silurians - Ep.4 - 7: The Doctor immediately offering his hand to the Silurian was genuinely touching. This was a nice introduction to The Silurians. I have enjoyed the serial, though I think it could have done with fewer episodes.

Serial: The Ambassadors of Death - Ep.1: The TARDIS control room looks like a late Victorian Gentlemen's Club. Nice to see the Doctor is still upset with the Brigadier over the end of the last serial.

Serial: The Ambassadors of Death - Ep.2-3: The Doctor is stealing again. Oooo that was a surprise! I was expecting aliens. I love Liz's outfit. Well you can't see the astronaut's faces so something is definitely up.

Serial: The Ambassadors of Death - Ep.4-6: I love Liz. Have I mentioned? She is amazing. Benton! The Doctor wants to go back to space so much he's willing to travel in one of Britain's crappy rockets.

Serial: The Ambassadors of Death - Ep.7: Of course the sady General was behind everything. The Brigadier has saved the day though. The aliens and the astronauts are saved and Liz looks fantastic. Whee!

Serial: Inferno - Ep.1-4: That was a lot of set up for a parallel universe story. Evil!Liz looks amazing. I don't know how they dragged this story out another 3 episodes. 4 total would have sufficed.

Serial: Inferno - Ep.5-7: This is very exciting but I still think it should have been shorter. I'm sort of weirdly invested in Greg and Petra. I love the Doctor & the Brig as BFFs. I am going to miss Liz

Serial: Terror of the Autons - Ep.1: The Master ❤️😭 Jo ♥️😍 Pertwee!Doctor's snazzy new smoking jacket 💜🤤 What's not to love about this?

Serial: Terror of the Autons - Ep.2: The inflatable chair ate someone. I remember that horrid creepy doll. Nope, nope, nope, nope. I hate this doll. However, I love that this Doctor is a sarcastic little shit.

Serial: Terror of the Autons - Ep.3: I really do hate Autons. Last season Pertwee!Doctor was big on car theft. Now he's moved on to safe-cracking.

Serial: Terror of the Autons - Ep.4: Everything got wrapped up very quickly and easily, but I did enjoy The Doctor and The Master flirting.

Serial: The Mind of Evil - Ep.1: There is so much going on. Priso riots, Mysterious deaths straight out of Room 101. Intrigue at the World Peace conference.

Jun 28 Serial: The Mind of Evil - Ep.2-3: There was a dragon! I am very much enjoying the Doctor speaking other languages. I love Jo. She's very brave & she just managed to single-handedly stop a prison riot. The Master started it again 30 seconds later obvs, but it's still impressive.

Serial: The Mind of Evil - Ep.4: So, the Doctor is afraid of Daleks, and the Master is afraid of the Doctor laughing at him. Sounds about right.

Serial: The Mind of Evil - Ep.5-6: The Doctor and The Master had some fun science times. The Brig played dress-up. Benton got a weird promotion. The Doctor and the Master flirted some more. UNIT blew up a factory for no reason. And then they all had tea.

Serial: The Claws of Axos - Ep.1: The Axons look awesome. The poor Master has been kidnapped and he looks so humiliated. Jo is being brave again while the men are being very stupid.

Serial: The Claws of Axos - Ep.2-3: Emergency. There's an emergency going on. These tentacled slugs doing interpretive dance don't look so awesome but they're certainly creepy. I loved The Master critiquing the TARDIS.

Serial: The Claws of Axos - Ep.4: Love a good fake out. A time loop is pretty self-explanatory, Brigadier. The Master trying to sneak past the eyeball was hilarious.

Serial: Colony in Space - Ep.1-3: At some point I would like Doctor Who to prove to me that any story set in a quarry is interesting. The machine with the claw hands is ridiculous. Always here for Pertwee!Doctor doing some "martial arts" though.

Serial: Colony in Space - Ep.4: The "brain" people are weird enough but the baby brain person is possibly the creepiest thing I've ever seen on Doctor Who. The Master voted for capitalism - shocker.

Serial: Colony in Space - Ep.5: Every time the Doctor and the Master are in the same room, my brain is yelling, "Just kiss, you morons!" I suppose it's not surprising that (Friends to) Enemies to Lovers is one of my favourite tropes with these two in my brain for 40 years.

Serial: Colony in Space - Ep.6: Well it picked up towards the end but it's probably the weakest of Pertwee!Doctor so far.

Serial: The Daemons - Ep.1-2: The Master is having the best time summoning "the devil" but his minions are definitely phoning it in. The Doctor is not dead despite being frozen to a block of ice, which makes Mike happy because now he doesnt have to tell the Brig.

Serial: The Daemons - Ep.3: I love this serial purely for the frustrated eyeroll response everyone has to finding out The Master is behind it.

Serial: The Daemons - Ep.4-5: There is literally nothing wrong with this serial. Everyone is magnificent. It is one of my favourites. Mike and Benton get plenty to do. Jo is brave and gentle. The Doctor is clever. The Master is a scoundrel. Bessie saves the day more than once. A+

Serial: Day of the Daleks - Ep.1-4: The Daleks are looking very colourful but they feel completely superfluous to this story. I enjoyed the non-Dalek parts more.

Serial: The Curse of Peladon - Ep.1-4: Princess Josephine taking her rightful place. An enjoyable serial with a very nice supporting cast of characters.

Serial: The Sea Devils - Ep.1-2: This is giving me Sherlock vibes. I bet the Master is running the prison. Oh look, the Master is running the prison. Did anything else happen except the duel and a lot of flirting? Nothing of importance.

Serial: The Sea Devils - Ep.3-4: I'm now half-way through Classic era Who. Jo is so amazing. I love her. Will she ever get to eat again?

Serial: The Sea Devils - Ep.5-6: Jo is ruining her suit crawling through ventilation shafts while the Doctor flirts with the Master over circuit diagrams. He reversed the polarity of the neutron flow!!!

Serial: The Mutants - Ep.1-6: I quite enjoyed the first and last episodes but the middle dragged a lot. Not one of the best.

Serial: The Time Monster - Ep.1-6: I really liked this one, though it felt a bit like two halves slapped together. Loved Benton getting turned into a baby. Love the Doctor's very important scientific equipment that was exactly the same shape as a thingy. Love Jo, always.

Serial: The Three Doctors - Ep.1-4: The Doctor meeting himself and other companions is always my favourite things in the Who-niverse. It's nice to see Troughton!Doctor again and in colour. I love how easily Benton takes it all and how weary the Brigadier is.

Serial: Carnival of Monsters - Ep.1-4: I've throoughly enjoyed this. It's mad and fun - mini time loops, creatures being dragged out of time, very grey aliens wanting to commit treason. I loved it.

Serial: Frontier in Space - Ep.1-6: The Master is back! Jo is usuing the excuse of providing a cover to lecture the Doctor on his relationship with the Master. This is only part of the reason Jo is The Master's favourite.

Serial: Planet of the Daleks - Ep.1: The Doctor is dying, which is an excessive reaction to being sort of shot imo. Jo is talking to a cassette tape. "Dear Diary, the Doctor is still unconscious…" Oop! The Daleks seem to have gained the power of invisibility.

Serial: Planet of the Daleks - Ep.2: Noooo, Jo has been poisoned. But she's still battling on because she is the best ever. I love Pertwee!Doctor's jacket. I would totally wear all of his clothes. I too am a dandy at heart.

Serial: Planet of the Daleks - Ep.3-4: That shaft suddenly got big enough for four people. And one Dalek. The Doctor and Jo are reunited; I'm possibly as happy about it as they are.

Serial: Planet of the Daleks - Ep.5-6: Why is there so much goo squirting everywhere in this story? I'm glad Jo didn't end up going to Skaro. Imagine how much more angst the Doctor would have had later if she had.

Serial: The Green Death - Ep.1: I don't want Jo to go. I will go with you to Metebelis III, Doctor. On second thoughts… The Brig is looking very dapper in his sports car. I love Jo even more for her environmentalism. She's the best.

Serial: The Green Death - Ep.2: I thought Pertwee!Doctor was going to slap Prof.Jones across the face with his driving gloves, but actually they're just bonding over science like the massive nerds they are while Jo is down a literal mine, trying to save the world.

Serial: The Green Death - Ep.3: Jo doesn't want to go to Metebelis III and be eaten by a snake. She wants to go to the Amazon with her boyfriend and be eaten by a snake. The Doctor, however, will not be allowing Jo to have any sex with Welsh professors on his watch.

Serial: The Green Death - Ep.4-5: The less said about episode 4 the better. The megalomaniac computer is kind of a brilliant villain. The Doctor is so done with it. Uh oh, Mike's in trouble. Benton will be beside himself.

Serial: The Green Death - Ep.6: Jo is getting married. The Doctor is sad and I am sad. I hope she hasn't been saving that wedding cake for him for the last 50 years. That was lovely.

Serial: The Time Warrior - Ep.1-2: Hello, Sarah Jane. Can you explain the Doctor? No one else can. I do like the Sontarans. I think they're cute. This has gone a bit Bedknobs and Broomsticks, with the armour moving and killing people on its own.

Serial: The Time Warrior - Ep.3-4: Sarah Jane is now leading an army, apparently. "I never lie." What a liar. Well that was lots of fun. You can't complain when you've got Pertwee!Doctor swinging on chandeliers can you?

Serial: Invasion of the Dinosaurs - Ep.1: Loving this post-apocalyptic London. Did the Doctor cut Sarah's hair during that quick TARDIS trip? Wow, that is a terrible dinosaur puppet. The poor Brigadier's life is so hard.

Serial: Invasion of the Dinosaurs - Ep.2: Nooooooo. Mike! Noooooooo. Benton is going to be heartbroken. I am heartbroken. The betrayal!

Serial: Invasion of the Dinosaurs - Ep.3: Sarah is waking up the awful dinosaur inflatable by taking pictures of it. Poor Benton - he hasn't even found out about Mike yet

Serial: Invasion of the Dinosaurs - Ep.4-5: WTF is that? Where's Bessie? Benton is such a good boy. I love him. I have enjoyed parts of this story but it could have been 4 episodes and I'm very sad about Mike.

Serial: Invasion of the Dinosaurs - Ep.6: Benton is the absolute MVP of this story. And the Doctor wins by reversing the polarity. With a nice anti-pollution message to end on.

Serial: Death to the Daleks - Ep.1: The Doctor has wandered off on his own and been captured, surprising no-one except poor Sarah, who just beat a burlap sack to death with a crank handle. The Doctor has escaped but Sarah is going to be sacrificed by the sacks.

Serial: Death to the Daleks - Ep.2-3: The Daleks arrive to the jauntiest music ever and can't kill anyone. Then they go off to have a little pow-wow. Hilarious. A giant vacuum cleaner has risen from the water to set one of the sacks on fire. This serial is wild!

Serial: Death to the Daleks - Ep.4: The Doctor has to get out of an escape room to blow up the evil city. Utterly bonkers.

Serial: The Monster of Peladon - Ep.1: Sarah is sick of tunnels and I can't say I blame her. I do like Alpha Centauri. How can you not like a green eyeball with arms and legs?

Serial: The Monster of Peladon - Ep.2-6: So much of this feels like a repeat of the last Peladon story. The Doctor has a sword though and I'm never going to argue with that. (I miss the Master)

Serial: Planet of the Spiders - Ep.1: I can't believe I'm on the last Pertwee!Doctor serial already. I don't want him to go. Mike! Mike interrupting a weird ritual. I like Sarah's 1920s hat. Jo! I miss Jo. And she misses everyone. Sarah you are being so dumb right now. Uh-oh.

Serial: Planet of the Spiders - Ep.2: The fake master stand-in has summoned a giant spider that shoots electricity. Poor Benton! Thinking he's expendable and then getting beaten up twice. Then there's a car chase, an air chase AND a boat chase.

Serial: Planet of the Spiders - Ep.3-6: So many giant spiders. Oh no, Sarah is been controlled by the Queen. That's terrifying. Mike!!! No!!! Oh phew, he's okay. Goodbye giant spiders. Goodbye Pertwee!Doctor. "Here we go again."

this is Vexus, she’s my baby and I think about her literally all the time everyday. while her ref is a little bit of a lore drop, if you find yourself interested in her at all, I’d be really happy to yap some more about her (not joking when I say the “think about her nearly 24/7” thing). She’s a sassy, stylish little firecracker who works with the master (and sometimes the doctor) throughout the runnings of the classic doctors starting with the third, and occasionally assists the doctor in the nuwho doctors’ runs. while she does look different throughout different doctors’ runs, this is her design for the third doctor’s era, which is the one she’s most commonly drawn/written in. the reason she’s worked on creatively with delgado!master so much is the fact that the two bounce off one another, similar in style and attitude, a sort of yin to the third doctor and jo grant's yang. I’ve never really posted her online before, so I hope y’all enjoy my passion project that basically no one knows about💜
