That’s fine, but I felt I wanted something a bit different, that represents my dramatic side 🤙 - Big shout-out to Gar from @garlicdesigns for putting this together for me. How about those processed instant oatmeal packets that claim they are sooo healthy?! They are packed with sugar! It took me 5 min to make this from rolled oats. My 7 year old makes this...you can do it. Add your own flavors like cinnamon, coconut, honey, walnuts, fresh fruit, peanut butter (tspn), hemp milk. There are so many possibilities. Benefits: Not processed Complex carb with protein (we need them!) Healthy habit Satiating (stay full longer) Low in sugar as long as you don’t drown the oats in fruit, honey etc 😉 Great energy for mind and body! Delish and natural! .r.ethink "tone", and fat loss. . Did you know that hydration plays a large role in fat loss? . According to numerous comprehensive studies, More than 75% of us are dehydrated. This means we either a) do not drink enough water b) have an imbalance in our electrolyte or c) have too many things in our lifestyle that dehydrate us in relation to how much water we consume. (Coffee, alcohol, excess salts etc...) . In fat loss water plays a couple roles; . 1) Water makes up a very high % of our blood; therefore our hydration levels affects blood pressure as well as internal cell pressure or "turgor". Energy (or ATP) is produced inside the cell by mitochondria, but in order to exit the cell and be metabolized it needs to pass through the cell membrane first. A cell with low turgor has a skin like a raisin (thick and has a lower surface area), a well hydrated cell is more like a grape and ATP easily pases through it. This simple change makes it easier for the body to metabolize the energy you've produced. . 2) When dehydrated, the body holds on to fluids, and often does so subdermally (under the skin), this can lead to feeling bloated and looking like you are less toned than you are. . 3) as in 1) an increase in your blood pressure can bring about lethargy (laziness) and decreases your desire to move and exercise. I totally agree with this article- it does depend on the person - but as a general rule and especially for my online guides where I cannot do a face to face assessment - I don't include them in my programs as it encourages the muscles to pull away from the midline and for many of my clients there is a major feeling of downward pressure into the pelvic floor. Don't get me wrong- Side planking can be a really great move to engage the multifidus but this largely depends on technique & most are needing work in that area. If you are pain free (and don't have diastasis recti or pelvic floor issues) and you have awesome technique then keep them up! What do you think? 🏋️‍♀️Allenarsi a casa si può 🏋️‍♀️a bisogna esserreconcentrate per poter eseguire gli esercizi nel modo più efficiente possibile! . Ecco perché non mi vedrete mai con mia figlia che gira per casa (magari crescendo sì, ma per ora nada 🙅🏻‍♀️)! ⛹️‍♀️Quale sport far fare ai bambini?🏊‍♀️ Domanda a cui, in quanto prof. di Ed. Fisica, devo rispondere spesso. Io dico sempre: "Quello che piace fare a loro!". Non c'è niente di piu deprimente che essere obbligati a fare qualcosa che non ci piace giusto? Beh per loro è la stessa cosa! . E per i bimbi piccoli sotto ai 5 anni? Credo che in questa fascia d'età sia molto più importante il GIOCO!! . Il gioco sano, puro, ai giardinetti e nella Natura! In questi luoghi conosci bambini nuovi, impari a farti le tue ragioni, sei libero di fare ciò che vuoi!! Vedo spesso bambini che svolgono una miriade di attività settimanali e che non hanno neanche più il tempo di giocare a quello che vogliono con gli amici o in cameretta. . Perché ostinarci a pensare al loro futuro agonistico, pensiamo a ciò che realmente vogliono e che a loro fa bene! . Ogni sport, se portato a livelli agonistici, crea squilibri posturali e a lungo tempo danni da "usura": il nostro corpo si modifica affinché il gesto tecnico sia più preciso e più funzionale. . La domanda è questa, ne vale davvero la pena? . Non proiettiamo su di loro ciò che avremmo voluto fare noi alla loro età! . In ogni caso, credo che alcuni sport debbano essere praticati da piccoli perché più facilmente vengono appresi ed inoltre permettono di non rimanere esclusi in adolescenza o in età adulta. . Il nuoto è uno di questi, saper nuotare ma soprattutto saper non affogare è importante per la propria sicurezza! Al mare, al lago, in barca, qualsiasi sia la vacanza che faranno con gli amici, loro potranno andare senza aver paura di rimanere ad aspettarli a riva! . E voi come la pensate?
