Drake didn't exactly feel like eating. He's been through enough as it is. Drake's memories of those pirates that killed his parents... they were still out there. Even if Luffy beat the ever-living shit out of them. The crew... they are still around and Drake felt as though that they'd come after the Strawhats again. Drake just didn't want them to get hurt over his problem. The only one he seemed to really reach out to is Sanji and Chopper. Not to say that he's not thankful for the rest of them... but, at the same time he just felt like he dragged them into his problem.
His bruises on his face and welts on his body didn't exactly make things easier. It felt very hard to move. Drake sniffles a breath looking up at Chopper from the corner of his eyes. The doctor of the group... he's really nice. He liked him. Chopper is just very approachable and caring. Drake hadn't had that in years. The twelve year old boy sighs and shakes his head regardless. "M'nah hungry." Drake tries to protest.
@stormcried
"You need to eat." The young doctor would warn the young boy softly. He hasn't ate in the last several hours, and well, Chopper is greatly concerned about him. They saved him from pirates who was using his devil fruit powers for gain. For showmanship. It angered Chopper greatly to see someone so young seen as a freak. Chopper knew all too well. Those pirates would've never let him go. They would've milked him for all he's worth and then discard him like trash. Chopper is afraid of Drake not trusting him as his doctor. Chopper sits down next to Drake. His concern on his small face is evident.
"Please. You're so young. You can't go without eating... I promise none of us want to hurt you." Chopper hoping his pleading would get through with the young boy. Sanji made it especially! Who could deny the greatest cooks food on the ship?! Drake seemed quite tired and all after he's been through? He isn't surprised. "It's stew, so it should be easy on your tummy." Plus Chopper had grinded up a bit of medicine into his food to make sure those bruises of his healed up.

Red Lights... the only thing that had been pulsating in and out. Flashing lights. Warning... warning... oxygen levels low. Oxygen levels low... oxygen-. The warning of the monotone female voice from the computer would read out for anyone who might be in distance to shut her up. A lifted whine of pain rolled onto Drake's side, sputtering a patch of blood curling into a fetal position. Everything hurt. It felt like his body is throbbing in pain. Where.. where is he? He didn't remember a whole lot. Just that... he remembered the accident. It happened only two months ago. He remembered the storm. The storm that came into his home that sunny dawn. Constables and Firemen about his home. Ambulances. They found 5 bodies. Three armed men, and two civilians. His life almost forfeit as well. Sent to a orphanage, life goes bad to worse. Sniffle. And a followed whine of pain.
Throbbing. His body throbbed badly. Dehydrated no doubt too. Rolling onto his sides, would the young boy notice he's not alone. A crowd surrounded him with a couple royal guards trying to keep the crowd at bay and not surrounding him. Drake pushed himself off of the floor to stave off the dizzy feelings. His expression dazed and confused.
"What's... going on?" The human mustered out.
'It spoke! Is that really a human? What's it doing here? Did it come from the airlock? It doesn't have a spacesuit on...' were some of the murmurs passing around the crowd at this point. Now, of course Drake isn't sure what they're referring to. He just woke up. Drake tries to stand up, only to fall bad down. Damn. He must've really did a number on his body teleportation. However he ended up here... he just wanted a escape from the orphanage. But, now, he's ended up in a even MORE awkward and unwanted scene. Until the gasps. 'It's the king! Move aside!' Exclaims of someone important must've coming through, where he noticed upon the crowd being gently pushed aside would be a larger... goat like monster. One of them. The one wore a crown with a couple star symbols on the top. Both had a light blue robe on with fluffy entrails in a circle at the bottom of their robes. Except the larger male one had a cloak around his shoulders. Aligned with stars that glowed a bit inside. He looked staggering. Intimidating even. He REALLY hoped he wasn't in trouble for being here...
#saidkyeieoy I AM GOING FERAL MAN I JUST NEED TO WRITE SO ME THING with the Dreemurr Family lives AU#idk#its just been plauging me lately.#and here we are my own little self-writing roleplay :D#also what if... some years after the monster war :eye emojii:#after all it's twenty years after that the main story takes place so i mean#cw undertale#/ undertale#OUTERTALE.#personalfictions

Drake coughed a little bit, flustering in shame at his sudden burst of starvation that had creeped at him. He needed to be more careful about that. Drake sheepishly laughs. "Thank you, Miss Toriel, I.. jus' haven' ate all day s' all!" Trying to hide the fact he's been without good food for 3 months. So; He's just trying to stuff his tummy as best as he could. More silently eating would Asriel break the silence of the dinner table next to him where Drake's attention would fall onto the younger monster. Where.. he came from? Oh, right. He probably should talk a little more about himself. Though Toriel seemed to be a little hesistant on Asriel asking about it. Sipping his water, Drake shook his head. "No.. no it's okay. Uhm, I come from a place called England. Err.. Unless this place s' undah England?" Drake sounded confused. Regardless, Asriel shook his head at knowing anything about it. Asgore smiled and answered Drake.
"No, Drake. We're from entirely different country altogether. You're a very long way from home. You're under a place called Ebbott Mountain. Most humans who come here are from the Barrier or from a few holes above us. Although we cannot reach them as the holes themselves are attached to the proximity of the Barrier." Asgore reveals. Which to Drake asks next. "What... barrier..?" Drake sounded concerned. Asgore sighs knowing this conversation was going to come up sooner.
"Remember how I told you earlier how monsters cannot leave? This is due to a magical barrier that.. humans have placed on the mountain. I believe it is time for you to understand our history Drake, and why monsters are afraid of humans." Asgore catches a breath. "This is only to keep you informed about our situation. Around a few centuries ago, and yes I mean that in hundreds of years as boss monsters like ourselves are able to live more longer then normal monsters. A war broke out between human and monster kind. Humans of a neighboring country had found out about monster kind, and how we lived in a secret area from them. Humans, fascinated at first, worked along side us and helped us create a better future. We learned from them as they did from us. We exchanged technologies, weapons, resources and they taught us a lot about magic. Although, for some reason, they grew more greedy about their knowledge and started to take more and more..." Asgore finishes his plate.
"And thusly, a terrible war for power and resources began. Humans began to kill monsters, and... we as well as humans." Drake listened intently, keeping his eyes on Asgore. "This war lasted for centuries. And only VERY recently did it just end. So; monsters are still trying to get used to humans and forgive them. Although, many can't. Which is why it is safer for you here with us. We may not be able to entirely return you back to England. But, we can make things as comfortable here as possible." This is a lot for Drake to take in, truthfully. He exhales as he finishes his own plate. "I... I see now. That's why the monsters earlier were crowding around me. They.. they wanted to hurt me?" Asgore hummed in disagreement.
"Not at all. Some were angry. Some were confused. Some curious. But, they wouldn't do anything outright, I don't think. If they had they would have to answer to me or Toriel." To which Toriel spoke. "I am sorry that this is the way things had to turn out, but we promise you that you'll be safe at New Home. I assure you. I suppose that things have been dramatic enough for one night. I should prepare everyone for bed." Toriel's right. Drake didn't sleep TOO well and maybe after one scene, he could sleep more easier tonight. Drake would nod. "I'm sorry tha' happened to you guys. I would.. I would nevah hurt anyone." Toriel smiled softly. "I know, dear. Most monsters have a sense for someone's soul purity. But, that is a discussion for another day. Time for bed Asriel. You too Drake. We have a strict 10:00 PM curfew."
#awwww drake is honestly going to be okay with people wanting to know about him#though; he avoids anything TOO personal tbh#cw undertale#IC.#UNDERTALE#personalfictionals

Drake decided to take this time to inspect his room now if this is where he's being sheltered from other monsters for now. Of course, Drake couldn't be protected forever and Drake would like to explore. Maybe with Asriel since he seemed to know the land better then he would anyway.
Drake ran his hand against the silk fabric of the bedding. Not unlike the one at the hotel. Drake couldn't explain it. It felt more... softer. Like, made from love. Drake adjusted the pink scarf that's tucked around his neck pushing it closer to his throat. The one thing he's deathly protective of. Drake would hum to himself. "It's so soft... wow. Beds I used to have weren't like this." He monologued. Drake noticed a lot about the Underground while he's been down here for the last nearly 5 hours now. People, or rather monsters here are simplistic. They like to live that way, anyway. Drake is a explorer. Homelife isn't just for him. The closet is filled with sweaters. All the same colors funnily. Green and yellow. Though they've looked like they had collected dust a bit. Odd. Then again, it's just a closet. Few toys are placed into a box.
Speaking of Boxes... he noticed something. He shouldn't be nosy but, he couldn't reach it. Maybe later. A brown, yet dainty box on the top of the closet. The name read 'Chara's belongings'. Who was Chara? Someone who stayed here? He furrowed his brows. But, he needed to join the three for dinner. His stomach is truthfully KILLING him. Drake shuts the closet for now. He could sleep just fine in his jeans for tonight. It's something he's done before anyway. More comfortable that way. There were books on a shelf and few crayons on the desk. The only one missing is blue. Huh. Shaking his head he decides to leave.
Joining the Dreemurrs' at the table where he cleared his throat. The three already digging into their meal. "Sorry for the wait. Just wanted to look at my room a bit." Deciding to leave out the whole Chara bit for now. He'd ask about it later, but, he's just arrived here. It's not his business. Drake could instantly scent the warmth of the meal from where he was. The taste of meat and cheese on his tongue. Jeez. Toriel REALLY was a good cook, huh? Drake slides a chair up. Still not used to the fact he's about to dine with monsters, but, they were a friendly company. So; suppose not weird. But awkward. It looked like food just like back at home. When he had one, anyway. Though he's not familiar with the recipe or the craft.
"Miss Toriel? I hope it's not too much to ask, but, what is this?" Not like he'd turn away a good meal. Unless it had peppers in it. Peppers he's allergic to. He doesn't know why. It's just something he's always had with him. Drake decided to eat anyway. He's never been so damned hungry in his life! Drake rather hungrily ate, almost forgetting that he's in company. He just wanted to eat a WARM, DECENT meal for ONCE. Drake really hoped he wasn't embarassing himself. His hunger must've been getting the best of him. Until he looked up and noticed the three seeming to watch him. Probably for the fact he's scarfing down his plate. Swallowing his bite, he sheepishly grinned. "S-Sorry, just really hungry." He excused being mindful to finish the rest of his meal in silence.

To say everything happening right now is INCREDIBLY overwhelming would be a understatement for Drake right now. This happy family. This family he's so scared to RUIN. But, they way they were treating him. Like he was so welcomed even as a stranger to this new world underneath the Earth... Drake wanted to cry. Emotions were all over the place. Toriel, who he first met had been as gentle with him as Asgore had been. He couldn't say much. Drake pulled his hood down to reveal his actual form. Revealing a small and timid boy. A nine year old boy who had lost everything and somehow came to this place by not of his own whim. Is this destiny? It had to be. At least to Drake's belief it were destiny. Or maybe stupid luck that things might get better? He just had to keep it hidden. Then he'd be seen as normal.
"It's.. very nice to meet you, miss Toriel." He turned to meet Asgore's gaze who softened onto his dark blue gaze. Then a hand pressed against his temple turning to find Toriel petting at it softly to soothe his anxiety slowly having flared. And, in a moment, just like that it melted. Drake wasn't scared anymore. At least, not of them. They were such nice people. Or.. monsters? Could he call them people? He'd learn soon enough. Dinner? That sounded lovely. He hasn't ate since this afternoon after having came to this place. "I'd like that, miss Toriel. Thank you." He stood up now from being a coward and noticed those brown pair of eyes from the doorway. Asgore mentioned his son. Asriel. Drake would walk alongside Toriel and Asgore as they guided him into the quaint home. This all looked so.. nice. It wasn't lavish. It was just.. home.
Drake would stand in front of Asriel as the two seem to stare at one another, unsure what to say. Drake felt a bit weird not just saying hi. So; he just gives a small wave, awkwardly shifting. "It's... nice t'meet you too, Asriel. Uh.. s'uh.. weird day innit." Drake tried to joke, laughing pitifully. For only for the other boy to softly laugh. It's good that he's trying to break the ice at least. Drake wasn't exactly good at making friends. Toriel would go back to checking on dinner for it to be served and Asgore would lead Drake to his guest room, which, is now his one supposed. A dark brown coloring of the wall. Dark oak he had to guess. His palm presses against the wall. Sliding downward. Smooth, gentle oak. He turned to Asgore. "Are.. you really sure this is okay for me to stay here? I don't want you to get you in trouble, Asgore.." Drake worried about the opinion of the monsters.
Though, if he's really sure. Then... Drake doesn't mind either. Adjusting the pink scarf would Drake turn back to Asgore. "Thank you.. I.. I can't thank enough you all." Drake would then bring himself to hug Asgore at that moment, his face flustering from the emotion seeming to take over. But, Dinner is now ready from the call of the other room letting everyone know that the special take of the monster lasagna is ready. "I'll be roight there.. I jus'.. need a minute, please." Drake didn't want to ruin the family meal with his emotions, so he just needed a moment to get his bearings. Drake didn't want to intrude, but, he didn't want to go back to living at the orphanage either... he hoped he could actually stay.

Drake throws his hood up again to keep himself looking incognito with the king walking with him. Hopefully no one will bat a eye about the smaller figure walking with the larger monster in tow. He could feel eyes staring down at him already. The rush of adrenaline pressing against his skin, nervous as all hell. Drake really didn't want attention onto him. He's already made himself QUITE a target as it is, so, the last thing he wanted is to have a monster too curious and start drama again. Now that Drake is out in the open once more. Drake would clutch tighter onto Asgore, his heart pounding. Asgore must've been fine with Drake out in the open now that it's later tonight and there's lesser monsters out. Tuesday. Monsters still had to work and school and all that like.
Drake still can't help but look around at the AMAZING size of everything! The capital of the Underground. Asgore wasn't kidding. This place is MASSIVE. Lot's of buildings and lots of different species of monsters. "Woah.. this place s'massive.. I can't even imagine London could be this big!" Drake grinned massively from ear to ear from automatic awe. From fear, to curiosity to slight excitement. Although, he still had to be careful. He's currently still in a dog-eat-dog world. Humans weren't trusted or still hated or feared due to the previous bloodshed. They stopped.
In front of them is a gate where two sentries were stationed on either side of the door. Asgore greeted them a good evening, and entered into the palace with Drake next to him. He's... never been in one before, that's for sure. The underground is beautiful in it's own way... "Is this your home, Asgore?" He would inquire curiously as he's walking with Asgore into the Dreemurr castle. Finally.. they had a moment of peace with Asgore finally letting go of Drake's hand now that they didn't have to worry about any monster nearby. Drake is secretly safe and sound besides for the guard expecting his arrival.
#EHHH... Should I have even made undertale a AU without war since in Outertale the WAS a reason for that? IDK#man my anxieties killing me tonight lmao#I keep hopping between Outertale and Undertale atm#since asriel never died asgore wouldn't have claimed war but humans probbaly still did for selfish reasons#resources? knowledge? magic? maybe#Probably there was still a war but not by asgores doing tbh#that's just me#IC.#cw undertale#UNDERTALE.#personalfictionals

The Innkeeper seemed really nice. They must've known each other before. How they knew each other is of course beyond Drake's guessing. Maybe old time friends? Though, upon Drake being brought up into the conversation did Drake make his appearance to the Innskeeper who seemed very shocked at the human riding onto Asgore's back giving a nervous wave in greeting. Drake isn't sure if it was smart to make himself so openly known to people. But if he is trapped here, he can't hide behind Asgore forever. That's just the simple truth. He liked Asgore. He's really nice and he didn't want to come across as too dependent on him, even if he is currently riding onto his back at the moment. Drake felt relieved that the Innskeeper is being willing to let Drake sleep a night with Asgore paying for him. That was something no one had ever done for him before.
With the certain items paid for, it was time for Drake to go to his own little room and sleep for a good few hours or.. maybe even tonight. How does one tell time here in Outer-space? Is time even a thing? Had to be, otherwise things would be chaotic for sure. Drake watched Asgore enter into the elevator pressing a button for the third floor. A beep noise popped into the system and up they went. Drake felt tired. Incredibly tired. He could tell his eyes were getting heavy. The warmth of Asgore certainly helped that along too. He felt so snuggly and comfortable. Drake's eyelids shutting every so often. He must've not realized how tired he was, but he would like to know more about Asgore.
"Mister Asgore?" Drake began. "Do you know him? The owner?" Drake blinking softly as they make their way across the carpet where Asgore's footsteps reverberated into the floor. Drake hoped he wasn't being nosy. But, at the same time, he would like to know more about the monster who is trying to help him here. Isn't that what friends did? Know more about one another? He hoped he could call Asgore a friend at this point.

The gesture to comfort Drake is a welcome one. He actually had believed he'd have to be alone in all this. That, this king so high and important would have better things to attend to. But; he stayed. He stayed for Drake and that to him meant a lot. Drake is finally making a friend again. He just doesn't want to have to CONSISTENTLY rely on Asgore to save him as he's sure he can't always be there for him and to rely on him. Drake would look back up with red puffy eyes, sniffling a breath. "Thank you, sir.. thank you. I-I don't know what.. what I'm going to do." Drake wanted to just wake up from this dream. But, all too real this situation is. Sure; it's a good change of scene, but now he's alone in a environment where unaware he's the enemy in all this. That these monsters, whoever they were, weren't always going to be friendly to him. Asgore must've wanted to protect him from that which is why they were going to this new place that Asgore suggested.
"Where.. where are we going, mister Asgore?" Almost forgetting he's royalty. "...Sorry, king Asgore?" Drake hoped the correction would make up for it. Though, Asgore seemed like he had a plan in mind for where to take Drake, and if Asgore has protected him this far, then he wouldn't mind seeing how far they'd go together. Drake understood. "Oh.. oh okay. Uhm, where are we going?" Drake inquired where he tried to stand up again, a strained whimper of pain from the pressure on his leg once more. He hoped wherever that Asgore is going to take him, it isn't too far away from where they were now. Drake's hand carefully clutched onto the cloak. It was mostly in the sides of his knees that mainly hurt. He must've landed onto the rather roughly from the fall.

There it is. The question that Drake had been expected to have been asked of him. Drake doesn't even understand it either. Everything felt so confusing and intimidating all in one. It were like he was snatched from his own world and placed into this one without gaining a warning. And now; he's in a new world entirely. A new plane of reality that Drake isn't sure he's just going to automatically adjust to. Minus the fact he's also in LITERAL outer space for second. Drake stared at the floor as the questions came to him. Friends? Family? No. He... he didn't. His expression tightened. He's been through so much in the last two almost three months that no nine year old should ever have to go through, but, it's not going to give him a break is it? Drake shook his head in response to his question.
"N-No..sir." Drake sniffled a breath. Family. The wound is still very much fresh. Seeing their frozen carcasses before his very eyes as he was being taken away from his home early that morning. He couldn't even say goodbye before being loaded into a ambulance nearly having died of extreme hyperthermia. Had another hour passed, he would have most likely frozen to death along with them. A spring morning. No snow should have ever passed as the weather for that had passed. Drake's fists curl into a ball remembering EVERYTHING instead of the question at hand. "I..I -.. I don't. I'm alone." His voice quivered. Why is this happening to him?! Of all people. His abilities. His life. Being here. Why is Drake so special?
Drake pressed his head against his knees. He doesn't know how to process any of this and all he could do? Is cry. Not from the fact he's in outer space. Or meeting Asgore. Or being ripped away from what little life he had left. Drake is crying because this is just all too much to process at once. Alone in a unfamiliar place unsure if he'd ever get to leave or if he wanted to. Would he want to go back to the life that he hated so much? He doesn't know. He doesn't know anything! He probably made Asgore uncomfortable too. This really just isn't going his way, is it?

This guy... is intimidating as all hell. The way his cloak just moves with him making him look as bulky as possible. Those long horns, such... massive hands. They could easily crush Drake in his grasp is he so chose. But, instead, he is reaching a hand out for Drake to take. He's not mad at him for just being here or even for technically invading. Drake stared at it for a moment. Drake didn't trust a lot of people these days. The people at the orphanage shown that VERY clearly from the few months he stayed there. They were terrible people who just wanted a easy pay. That were the 80's... and now he's somehow found himself here in this place full of technological wonders. Drake knows he's not got much of a choice but to take the lead of Asgore.
Drake swallowed nervously, shakily taking the others hand only for it to curl into his own tenderly. As if the hand itself is being mindful of it's strength. Drake stood up shakily as well only to collide with Asgore's cape with a pained whine. He must've hurt his leg and sides when he landed onto the metal grating of the Outer-Docks. Drake grits his teeth trying to push through it. The bruise inside of his jeans would easily show that he's not in a state to walk. Drake wanted to seem like a big boy, so he didn't ask for help for the time being. Even being nine, he's trying to be brave. Drake stood up gripping tighter onto the thumb of the larger monster.
"Sorry.. M-My leg hurt.s" He tries to excuse. Drake slowly staggered with Asgore away from the crowd. Asgore seeming to mention something to the guards whispering to them out of Drake's earshot. But, it wasn't Drake's business to know anyway. So; he didn't care what was said. The crowd of monsters moved away from the King and the human child to give them space to walk away from the docks where it grew more and more silent now that the crowd has been left in the dust. "Thank you, sir. I.. uh.. I'm Drake, by the way." Drake revealing his name to the other. The king seemed to lift a smile at this. "I'm sorry about all this. I didn't really mean to come here." He mentioned briefly. A world of monsters and a singular human and yet he's afraid to talk about his abilities? Probably due to the fact his abilities killed someone nearly three months ago. Drake whined at the pain every so often. It's getting harder and harder to walk. Although talking to Asgore seemed to distract him from noticing it much.

Apart the army? So; there was a army once? Or is there still one? There ARE royal guards planted around the Outpost still. So, there was some sort of opposing force still for the Outposts defense. There must've been a reason that there is a security force here. "How come he left? If it's okay to ask..?" Though, the following silence didn't seem to come across wanting to answer it, so, Drake decided to shut up about it. But, Asgore said he'd tell him later about it. For now, Asgore would need to go back to his home and talk to his family. He said he'd be back for him, so, he decided to trust Asgore on that front that he'd come back for him eventually. Drake slides off of his back and sits down onto the mattress. This hotel is interesting. It looked so fancy but simple at the same time. The galactic stars shining through the window when looking above. Asgore however closes the curtains to keep him hidden for now.
Snuggling up under the covers would Drake press his hands against the silk and pulling them over his face. "You promise?" Drake just one last time to be sure. And, when given a reassuring reply would Drake leave it as that. Settling into the covers, would Drake yawn quietly and begin his small slumber. He really was tired, wasn't he? He didn't want to think about anything else, but here he is. Staring at the side of a wall with the lamp nearby the desk. Questions. So MANY questions. Who was Asgore really? Why did he help him? Why did people question him being a human? How did he end up here? Why is he here? He really hoped that Asgore would give him SOME sort of answer to what's going on. He said he'd tell him.
Sleep came to Drake later on, and it finally gave Drake the piece of mind to just let things play out the way they should. He couldn't do anything about it right now. Sleep.. Sleep young Drake. That's all he can do. Although, sleep that night were incredibly restless. Cries and screams of pain in his head. The memories replayed again. The accident. Murmurs for his parents proceeded to whisper in his sleep. And, another scream.
"MAMA!" A exclaim as he shot up in his bed panting heavily. The eyes glowing in response to his abilities activating with tears floating about in a hovering motion. Dammit. Not again. This is the 3rd time these couple weeks. A knock at the door, Drake unsure if he should say anything, but, He decided to anyway. Maybe it's Asgore? Drake sniffles and rubbed his eyes to shut the powers off and would slide off the bed. Leg still hurt. But it wasn't as bad as before. How long had he been out for? Glancing at the clock. It's 8:30 PM. 3 hours about. He sniffles again and embraced his body against the wall. "Wh..who is it?"
