the crew had moored their ship in a cove a little ways down from the main harbor, unsure of how this town would take to pirates and not wanting to put the ship unnecessarily in harms way. coming across this island was perfect timing as they maybe only had a day or two more of supplies. not that they couldn't catch some food to eat out at sea but that alone was not enough for a chef. he required seasoning, vegetables, and sides in order to make meals to the liking of nami and robin. nothing was too good for his ladies.

the town's market was bustling with people shopping or going about their daily lives. with no bounty on his head, it was easy for him to blend in and get what he needed without being chased down by bounty hunters, other pirates, or even marines. most of the time his shopping went on without incident, but occasionally there was something that happened that threw a wrench in his plans. his head snapped in the direction of a beautiful woman getting punished by a pirate. a second later that same pirate was being kicked straight into a wall, placing himself protectively in the middle. "didn't anyone tell you that is no way to treat a lady?" || @ladicsa

"Just peachy fuckin' keen. Pirates made off with m'food tha' I SPECIFICALLY STOLE from them so, I ain' gonna be eatin' tonight. Tha's how 'okay' I am." Drake struggles to contain his inner frustration and dismay for his situation. Drake would have to go hungry tonight because his ass couldn't keep his guard up, and now he's been semi-beaten AND got his shit taken back. So, yeah, he's not precisely in a great mood today. "Thanks for askin' though." Drake doesn't even care that this guy is literally a giant polar bear. He's out of shits to give for anything at this point.

These sea breezes never got old for Drake. They were like a comforting scent against the world around him. It felt like he could just be in his element without having to worry about anyone else. Of course, that being said it wasn't just him now. It's been about two weeks since he's stowed away on the Strawhat Pirates ship. What did they call it... 'The Thousand Sunny'? Yeah.. sounded about right. Drake had heard from Franky of it being called that. It's a odd name, but what does he know? Drake's eyes glance down at the salty sea. It's a funny thing. One slip and he'd drown. The same sea that he could control with his hands.

Drake still didn't like the fact he had a Devil Fruit forced down his throat by his father in order to save him. The pirates who his father had stolen said fruit from. Now... Drake is on the road to find his purpose and his vengeance. He didn't hear the pitter patter of hooves coming down the staircase. His fingers twirled. Eyes glowing a bright sea blue colored as the sky around him. Waves pushing away from the ship as if afraid of the sunny. Entertaining himself what it seemed like.
