Is she Lucy Westenra, or is she just a vessel for the writer's barely disguised fantasy of a women being punished for her promiscuity? Is she really"Bram Stoker's" Lucy Westenra: a naive, innocent 19 year old, with a cheery personality and a bright future ahead of her? Or has the writer instead just slapped her name on an OC that behaves nothing like her, and- with none of the grace or decorum that Lucy's tragically short story deserves- sexualized her slow and agonising death as much as possible, whilst very unsubtly doing their best to blame her for being murdered, so that we won't object to her being killed again later in an even more gruesome and sexual manner?

the life series celestial themeing is kind of funny at this point because the only reason that existed in the first place was from ppl noticing ''hey isnt it a fun coincidence that the first 3 life series winners have obvious ties to celestial bodies? we should make a thing about that.'' like you can do all you want to explain why scar represents earth or uranus or whatever but unless its as obvious as ''pearlescentmoon has moon in her name'' then its never really gonna fit the formula. and thats fine. it was only ever a fun coincidence guys. please.

some golden guards + caleb

i wanted to take a break and do some character design of a few golden guards based off of some of the ones seen briefly in canon. i also drew hunter and caleb as references for faces and stuff. i tried to make them as similar as possible, but also looking very individual to one another. since belos claimed that hunter looks the most like caleb, i tried to stay true to that while keeping the other three looking similar but not quite as identical. anyways i love them <3 they’re like the most mentally ill family ever to me

these weren’t supposed to be real ocs or anything but then i ended up giving them names and backstories and so i wrote a little about them aaaand now im obsessed. i will try to make a full body ref for them, especially alistair and/or constance, if i have time

Why didn't Peter tell MJ he was Spiderman? Dating her put her at risk, it would have been better if she knew so she could try to take safeguarding measures.

I mean, that's the crux of so many superhero/civilian relationships in mainstream comics, isn't it?

The realization that the superhero doesn't respect his civilian love interest enough to give them the full story because their narcissism and performative martyr-complex won't allow it.

Because people who put a mask on to go fight crime have control issues. And giving MJ all the information would give her the power of choice, putting them on equal footing, and Peter's black-hole of a guilt complex won't let that happen.

And because H!Peter loves Mary Jane, but only so much as what she represents- a 'normal' life that he can take off and on whenever he pleases. She's not really a person with needs and desires that he respects, just the representation of a life he can put on a pedestal and worship. (Also because writers need that "drama" of Superheroes having to constantly choose between their loved ones and the suit.) The superhero can never choose their loved one, because the moment they put their own happiness over the suit, their run as a superhero is effectively over.

going through some old logs, and I need you to understand just how truly unhinged early 2010s RP omegle was.

genuinely you could stay on there for hours with just one person, hashing out complex traumatic backstories, drawn-out love confessions, detailed action scenes...collaboratively describing graphic violence, past abuse, comfort, hurt/comfort, hurt/no comfort, any number of sex acts...and then one of you would be like, "oh haha it's 2AM! I have to sleep :(" and the other person would say, "omg saaaame. :( gnight!!!" and then you'd exit the chat and never speak to each other again, and this was. fine.

you could just spend an entire evening shoving your wretched, bleeding soul into a chat log with someone you'd never meet or learn the name of, achieve some form of emotional catharsis, and then go about your day or night like this was an average way to spend your time.
