guys what if i want to make my own apollo justice game.
#i need to write a prequel to aa4 pls pls pls pls pls#okay get this: so phoenix isnt disbarred yet and he doesnt have trucy. hes still taking and winning cases#one day he gets a call from edgeworth and hes all like ''wright i need your assistance'' and hes like what for and edgeworth goes#''ive been given the most ridiculous case and i think youre the only man in law who can take care of it''#so phoenix bikes his ass to the detention center and boom. child behind bars#and phoenix is like ??? hey kid what are doing here. and this kid is the most surly mfer on the planet like you couldnt get-#-a word out of him if you tried. hes kinda giving phoenix the stink eye too but hes just the littlest guy on earth#and phoenix feels bad for him so he tries to get a rundown of the case (maybe edgeworth gave him an autopsy report or smth beforehand)#but get this. the kid still wont speak. he hasnt even moved a muscle. and after some prodding you find out this little dude-#-doesnt speak english (i dont love aa6 but i think apollos tragic backstory can be interesting so we're going w that but taking it seriousl#anyways so maya is like omg this kid is speaking khurainese but hers is kinda broken bc shes not from the mainland and only knows it-#-from like prayers#so you only get bits and pieces of the kids testimony. plus he still doesnt wanna talk bc ''dhurk told me not to talk to you''#so you start following the new lead but you ask too many questions and apollos like oh shit i said too much and wont talk to you anymore#but now you have two leads: khur'ain and a man named ''dhurk'' plus the fact that this is kid might be new to america since-#-he cant speak english but is smack dab in the middle of california. its all v curious and phoenix wants to get to the bottom of it#for the rest of the case i feel like it would go in the direction of ''we dont know exactly whats up w this dhurk guy or where this kid-#-came from but we do get him acquitted and phoenix is able to save him from the dark path he was heading towards'' thus steering apollo-#-in the direction of law and giving him a wayyyy better reason than aa6 gave him <3#i kind of like the interlinked nature of ace attorney's storytelling. like everything leads into smth else and everyone is impacted-#-by another person before they even become properly entangled w each other's lives#like how mia faced dahlia years before she met phoenix but dahlia was the one to connect them#or how trucy gave phoenix the diary paper but she's also the one who ropes apollo into the waa. even before they know they're siblings#or how lamoire left apollo and trucy as children and when they reunite as adults they cant recognise each other but they all find each-#-other anyways#i could go on but i think this could be cool yknow esp bc i think the most interesting thing about apollo's aa6 backstory is his life-#-post dhurk. like where did he stay? was he a foster kid? was he put into the system? how did that affect him? what kind of ppl took him in#i just wanna know how that whole thing would have effected him bc like when yiu think about it how did he even get to america?? his dad's#-considered a terrorist. idk man i think its interesting and apollo and dhurks interactions are one of the only good parts of aa6

one thing strange about being chronically ill, with fluctuating ability, and growing up poor, and then being slightly less poor as an adult, is that like. growing up, you kind of learned how to just, deal with your chronic pain, right? maybe you took some tums and some ibuprofen or acetaminophen when it got bad, or you found out that a heating pad helped, but that was about the extent of it.
and then, as an adult, you found yourself with a job that let you afford to get that $14 pillow for between your knees when you sleep on your side. or, you let yourself buy that knee brace, the brand name one, too, because the off brand one didn’t have specialized pressure points and you hoped the extra $3 for the brand name would be worth it, maybe the specialized pain needs specialized aid, right?
you also, over time, invest in a couple forms of mobility aids, telling yourself it’s okay, that even though you don’t need them every day, that on the days you do, it’ll feel better to have help— and you find that they’re invaluably useful on the days that you need them, making tasks that before, were just straight up not an option during the severe flares, something you now can still have the option of doing. it’s still not easy, per say, but doable is a huge difference.
maybe you even see a doctor for your chronic illness, and it turns out that while there’s no daily treatment or remedy, there’s actually a medication you can take during the more severe flare ups that helps bring you closer to your baseline again!!
and like. suddenly these aches and pains, these radiating discomforts have these mitigating measures that you hadn’t even known existed— through no fault of your parents! just that as an adult with more money than you had as a child and with the power of agency to self-advocate that your adult self has, suddenly there’s Options TM for dealing with the pains. everything isn’t fixed but having mitigation measures is still wonderful!!!?!?!
anyways all of this to say, this isn’t even anything life threatening or requiring intensive care but it’s amazing what having a few more $ can do in terms of providing your body with comfort and tools to help you navigate your ongoing pains. and all this to say especially that this is one of 1047583939919483 reasons why medical care and medical aids need to be free, because tools to lessen the pain someone experiences in life shouldn’t be on a pay-to-play basis, my teen body was no less deserving or in need of assistance than my adult body, both of them deserve to have the access that adult me has, and people in every economic situation deserve to be able to lessen their pain and find tools to provide relief for chronic illnesses. this stuff should be accessible to everyone.

#Laundrycore 2022 going well, even if nothing else is. Just handwashed something that’s not underwear for the first time (wool skirt) and next I’m going to learn to iron (I mean I’ve seen my dad do it when we were younger so I know how an iron works but it’s a bit different doing it yourself for the first time and the iron is falling out of favour so fast that it hasn’t come up until I want to actually wear a nice shirt).
I know this probably seems ridiculous but it’s a big step up from chucking everything in the machine on the quick wash cycle and doing nothing else, and it means I can wear nicer clothes.

The Best Senior Living in Atlanta vs Living at Home-Why It's More than Just Help with Daily Tasks
The decision of whether to admit their loved one to assisted living or have them remain at home is a tough decision for any family. As the two options provide assistance with activities of daily living much more is offered in an assisted living facility. Assisted living can also be explained as an environment wherein seniors feel safe but with caregivers available all the time to help the elders whenever they need assistance or anytime during the day or night. They like to be social in a way that they can engage in activities; make new friends and perform exercises, which may not be easily possible if they are at home.  Let us understand the difference between the best senior living in Atlanta and home care senior living to make better choices.
Assisted Living vs. Home Care Senior Living: What’s the Difference?
Independent and assisted at-home care delivers supportive non-medical home, as well as the health services needed for senior citizen assistance with meals. It also doesn’t provide constant service and can be lack of attention the time when require more assistance. The difference is that between home care senior living and assisted living provides the availability of a car in that the residents can receive help at any one time in cases of emergencies or changes in health.
For added independence, those in assisted living facilities also have access to socialization and recreational facilities, group meals, and more. This feels more like what home care may not provide, that is care as well as company thus enhancing health.
Benefits of Assisted Living
There are quite several benefits that converge on assisted living which is why people with a need of constant attention always opt for it. In these communities, properly trained personnel are always around on a round-the-clock basis to support the residents on issues to do with dressing¸ feeding, and giving them their medicine among others. This guarantees senior citizens that they always receive needed assistance which offers comfort to many residents and their families. Additionally, family members can focus on their own well-being while their loved ones receive professional care when assisted living relieves them of part of the caring duties.
Considerations for Home Care
For the decision of whether it is better to choose assisted living or home care the essential step is to weigh up the pros and cons of both the opportunities. For the elders who require help with some of the routine activities they require, need support throughout the day and night, and need companionship, assisted living is most suitable. These communities afford primacy, and have healthcare facilities around them, which enhances the quality of life for its inhabitants.

Why is Assisted Living Better Than Home Care?
In many cases assisted living offers a better care scenario as opposed to home care because it has a specialized setting and various services offered. To complete, assisted living communities are purposefully intended for seniors, providing them with continuous care, along with employees capable of handling their needs throughout the day and emergencies.
Social opportunities are another advantage as these communities offer a way through which elderly people are given something to do while also getting the company they need. In the same regard, persons can easily access medical care hence receiving treatment prompting within the compound. Assisted living also eases family caregivers’ role and burden, whereby they are in a position to also seek professional caregivers for their loved ones thus improving on own health.
Why Is Assisted Living Superior to Care at Home?
Assisted living, with its specialized setting and extensive services, is frequently a better choice than in-home care. Assisted living communities are designed to meet seniors’ needs, offering 24/7 support and trained staff for daily tasks and emergencies.
Social opportunities are another benefit, as these communities provide activities that keep seniors engaged and connected with others. Furthermore, having healthcare on-site guarantees that patients will receive emergency care when needed. Moreover, assisted living relieves family members of some of the caregiving responsibilities so they may concentrate on their well-being while their loved ones receive expert care.
Conclusion
If you consider the friendly, open community that values individuality and interpersonal relationships, consider Azalea Manor Senior Living. With a committed team at Senior Assisted Living Atlanta GA providing round-the-clock care, you or a loved one can always feel secure and supported.

…okay I confess I had a wistful wishing star fairytale hope that this would finally be the year I did all the cute cozy fall things with a small group of friends and a partner.
…but…hey. He knows I’m ace. He knows I like him. He knows I really only become Fight or Flight when our friendship is at stake.
He held my hand anyway in a way that cannot be plausibly denied as platonic after we both had really shit weeks on top of really shit years we just can’t catch a break from. (I hope he knows what he’s doing.)
(…it was really nice.)

Why Do You Choose Home Care Assisted Living for Seniors - Azalea Manor Senior Living
The traditional family setups are now disintegrated. Earlier, children took care of their elder’s health and other essential needs. In the current trend, children move to another city or abroad. It gives rise to smaller families. Youth have freedom, but elders lack support and timely care. Older adults are often neglected and feel lonely. Financial dependency on children, retirement, and lack of support lead to health disorders both physical and mental. It necessitates the need for home care assisted living for seniors.
Advantages of In-Home Care Services
The best home care will help older adults tackle mood disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and dementia. Timely medical care will help treat seniors and lead a healthy and happy life. Nurses and ward boys provide care services for elders at homes. They do not include medical services. It improves the independence of older adults while under supervision. The benefits of in-home care include enjoying home comfort and privacy while enjoying all the basic services. You can hire the services of nurses and attendants as needed and at the required frequency.
Tumblr media
Health Care Services at Homes
It is similar to home care services. Skilled nurses offer both of these services for seniors. Health care services for seniors at their homes are diabetes care, dressing wounds, surgical care, oncology, and pain management. You can read patient testimonials when hiring home care services for seniors. You should also consider the financial aspects. It may be expensive compared to assisted living Marietta Atlanta.
Cons of Home Care
Home care services allow older adults to stay independent and enjoy the comfort of home. But it has some disadvantages. You could end up paying higher if you require round-the-clock assistance or care. You need to buy medical equipment, pay caregivers, and make changes in your home for security. Background-checked nurses are to be employed for home care services. Otherwise, you may end up losing valuables while away at work. In addition, your parents will feel neglected and may be prone to injuries.
In-home care arrangements, your parents will feel lonely because of a lack of social integration. Those enjoying senior assisted living will have a chance to take part in social gatherings and make friends. It prevents isolation and loneliness and keeps elders happy and in a good mood.
May face difficulties in arranging transportation to hospitals in medical emergencies. If older adults live in assisted living facilities in Georgia, medical professionals will assist them immediately and keep them out of danger. Therefore, seniors at assisted living facilities have access to super specialty clinics, trained staff, and better facilities.
Benefits of Assisted Living Facilities
A safe and dedicated environment is provided to seniors at assisted living facilities. Grab bars and wheelchairs are provided to support older adults, prevent them from falling, and protect them from injuries. Non-slip floors ensure the safety of seniors. They are under the supervision of trained staff around the clock. Therefore, you can feel assured about the safety and upbeat health of seniors.
It provides more opportunities for social integration. Physical fitness is also ensured with regular exercises in separate rooms. Medication management and timely meals are also ensured for elders.
Conclusion
Home care services ensure independence and home comfort for seniors. Hiring background-checked and skilled nurses and staff provides in-home care services. They are expensive because they include medical equipment costs, paying salaries, and modifying the homes for additional security. Those seeking round-the-clock care and supervision can seek assisted living facilities at reduced costs.
