𝐈 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐢𝐤𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬𝐨𝐯. The King. Cunning, ambitious yet charming and heartfelt. The moment he laid eyes on you, he knew you were different. There was an air around you that drew him to you - and he didn't understand.

But the two of you would work out because you remind him of all the goodness in the world. You encourage him, while also having the ability to protect him.

And he loves you for it. Your mind, your ideas, your strength. Yes, he sees so much in you that you do not see yourself.

In all honesty, I didn't think your personality 'fit' into what was offered. You could be a healer or a tailor - but I think there's something so magical about you that you would change the whole course of the story if you were in it.

When you were a child, and it came time to be tested - your results were overwhelmingly Grisha. No one could fully understand what your abilities were, and for a while at that.

𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓/𝑨𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚

The basis of Grisha is that it all comes from 'science'. But that is not entirely true. It's all about perspective, and your power was unheard of. It was uniquely suited to you.

But how do you use it? How do you protect and attack with such abilities? It is easy.

You can take from another person - summon their abilities and use it as your own. That was the first step, the second was finding out that you could transmute energy into whatever you wish.

This changed the complete meaning of the word Grisha.

𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏𝒔

The way he holds your face in his hands is like Nikolai holding a priceless jewel. The amount of love that he has for cannot be described. He often thinks that fate must have had a hand in this. Because soulmates must be true. He found you.

Whenever he has a high profile meeting, he makes sure to leave many surprises around your shared chambers - it's like a treasure hunt.

If you fall asleep against him, he will not move for ages. He wants nothing more than to feel close to you. Sometimes you let out little noises; a whimper or a word here and there. Sometimes even a snore. But it's so endearing to Nikolai.

He absolutely loves bringing you new books; obviously ones he knows you'll like. Romance, adventure, fantasy. You have your own library in your shared chambers. (And when I say shared chambers, you both stay in there. Because Nikolai married you 3 weeks after knowing you.)

On your wedding day, he bought this for you to wear: a beautiful necklace. One that a paid a pretty penny for.

Many disagreed with your marriage but you reminded them that you may not have come from a royal background, but you were more than capable of handling not only yourself, the court and the other grisha.

I think you are a mix of Alina, Inej and Wylan. Your personality is so obviously INFP! You are a dreamer, someone who is authentic and thinks outside the box. You are much more loyal to your personal values which sets you apart from many others. It's a good thing.

A beautiful pure white cat that loves to follow you everywhere. Whenever there's lessons, you have to lock him in your room as he has followed you to your literal class and sat on your lap.

He's a very smart, yet cuddly boy who you found as a kitten. His mother must have left him and something inside of you couldn't abandon him as she did.

I hate how a lot of fantasy does religion

Okay, let me quickly rant about something. Mostly because I really am irked by it right now because of me playing BG3. But the DnD world is just one example of this, because it just is something that stretches throughout alot of fantasy.

I just hate how a lot of fantasy does religion. Especially, when the religion is polytheistic. Especially, especially, if the gods are proofen to be real.

My issue is that basically a lot of fantasy religion is either "christianity with a paint job" or "some weird cult".

I will go with DnD here, because right now, because it is the probably best known example of this. But I have seen this in so many fantasy settings before - and almost every single fantasy ttrpg system. (The German system "Das Schwarze Auge" is not the least bit better.)

Basically the issue is, that a lot of Christian folks who create those worlds basically think that "religion = Christianity", rather than religion being a lot of different things. So, temples within those fantasy worlds are often either something that looks like a church, or something that has the aessthetics of some ancient european temple.

And that just is... super ignorant. It is ignorant of how religion is actually - and how it would work within those worlds.

So, again, let me talk DnD. DnD has its own pantheon. There are several deities, who all have their certain "area of expertise" that they stand for. Which is something very typical for polytheistic religions. Usually polytheistic religions have it that people pray to differing gods depending on what they need right now. If you were an old Greek person and you had a fight ahead, you would pray to Ares, if you were in love you'd pray to Aphrodite, and if you wanted inspiration, you'd pray to Apollo. But you wouldn't exclusively pray to one of them.

Even if you were a priest in a temple dedicated to one god or the other, you wouldn't be against the other gods. Like, the one problem you'd might have with them might be, that the one temple got more money than the other. But you wouldn't hate Aphrodite if you were a priest of Ares.

And meanwhile in fantasy worlds... you will just outright have everyone dedicated to one god, as if they were completely different religions. Going so far to have outright violent conflicts between followers of two gods. Again, as if it were different religions.

Which is only made worse by... the gods being real. Like, they are real beings that people can actually (if they are lucky) interact with. Which makes the entire religion thing even more weird.

I really just... look, the people all believe in the same pantheon. And they might need one god or the other depending on time and situation. Because it is not like a monotheistic god, where you have one god who can deal with everything for you.

And... Just... Fantasy, please stop it with having characters just build churches! Be more creative. Don't make it so fucking Christian >.<

uhhhhhhh tbh? i prefer the adults in general over the kids because they're complicated and messy and a little dumb – INCLUDING the LOV adults bc they're traumatized morons and I hit them over the head. i just think the adults have more substance than the kids. idk why

from the kids tho,,, uhhh idk? again I like a character based on how much can break their personality apart and not a lot of the kids scratch that itch for me. tbh tho toga is my favorite character to watch from a distance bc her aessthetic fucks and her blood thirsty nature fucks even more. we would've been besties in hs if she wasn't killing people.

general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life aessthetic level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically pretty but not my type | pretty aesthetic | gorgeous! | 10/10 would draw (the checkerboard coat with a huge scythe...several gorgeous fluffy dresses...sharp teeth and wild hair...she’s perfect)hogwarts house: gryffindor (impulsive as hell, yells at an insane superpowered natural force personified, not to mention the scene in the tower - girl knows what fear is but doesn’t give a damn) | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: Iron willpower and loyaltyworst quality: keeps running off and making gil worried, a tiny bit bloodthirstyship them with: Oz, Echobrotp them with: Oz and Gil, Sharon, Alyss, Oswald, and I kind of like her frienemeyship with Break needs to stay away from: JACK, Levi (shudder), kinda the Coremisc. thoughts: (i’m not going to even write a fraction of them here because there are a LOT.) I can’t remember what my thoughts were on Alice when I first watched and read (I saw the anime first) this, or even when I was rereading bits and pieces. But then I reread the entire thing top-to-bottom, and then I found one of my favourite characters of all time. Her story is kind of told backwards and fowards at the same time, but there is such a tremendous amount of payoff in the few volumes after the Reveal arc. In the shortest way possible, she starts off angry, selfish, and alone, though audience can’t immediately see the true extent of what happened to her. Then, piece by piece through the story, new parts of her start to emerge. Yes, she is short-tempered and short-sighted, but she is protective, loyal, afraid, contemplative, melancholic, and has a kind of moral and emotional wisdom beyond her years and vocabulary. All this slowly crescendos until we get a full view of past!Alice’s intense, genuinely courageous personality (proving for once and for all that her bravery up to this point hasn’t just been naivete) in the headhunter arc, which leads right into the reveal of her identity and her past, and - one of the best moments in the series - the tower scene

I won’t spoil anything, but there we see that she isn’t just a main character - she is the hero of the story
