Little Ai Headcanons (Persona 4)

On the younger side. 

Little Ai is the personification of chaos. She can’t make her mind up on what she wants to do first. She wants to try everything. 

Can be very clingy, especially with her favourite people.

Cries pretty easily. It's not easy to tell if she’s genuinely upset or not. A lot of the time, even Ai isn’t sure.

Ai’s parents have their suspicions about her regression, but neither of them know how to bring it up. She uses her dad’s credit card to buy gear, and is pretty sure he hasn’t realised. He has, but he doesn’t mind.

Her pride and joy is her Barbie collection. She loves to pick out outfits for her dolls. Every single one has a name, and she will cry if you forget one. 

She doesn’t like outings when she’s little. She prefers to stay at home, where she knows she’s safe.

Her favourite thing to be called is Princess.

She loves making friendship bracelets and doing arts and crafts. Give her a jar of beads and some string, and she will be captivated for hours.

🪡 - What activities do they do while being regressed? Are any of them not ‘typical’ for regressors?

Yuu - nothing specifically really !!! He just goes along with whatever his friends want to do with him !! He’s not very energetic though so if his big siblings want to play games with lots of rules to remember or something else better suited for slightly bigger kids they give him a colouring book for parallel playing or let him sit on someone’s [Yosuke’s. Almost always Yosuke’s] lap to “help” his big sibling do whatever they are doing [when it is a sitting down game like cards or even fighting video games] and whenever Yuu is “helping”, the siblings without the baby usually let the sibling with the baby win the game !!! Unfortunately since usually Yosuke has the baby he brags sooooo much about how good he is at games.

Yosuke - hmmmm he !! Likes video games and perhaps sometimes they are kind of big kid video games !!!! Not Inappropriate ones because he likes when his little siblings watch him but. More complicated ones! Even if he is not very good at them oops! One time he googled how to impress little kids and it shaped Everything about him [silly]

Chie - she likes playing outside the most !! She loves to do games like tag and hide and seek !! And also go to fun places like playgrounds or the pool !!! She also likes watching movies and playing fighting video games though and she is Actually very good at them even if Yosuke has won more times [Only because of Yuu]

Kanji - he doesn’t do sewing while he is regressed but ONLY because one time he tried but he pricked his finger on the needle and cried about it. He would LOVE to though so instead he does paper crafts !!!! He makes cute little cards and paper dolls and Naoto has a HUGE collection of these because usually Kanji gives them to him 🥺 he also likes playing with dolls and stuffed animals ๑❛ᴗ❛๑ they are his friends !! When he is big he makes fancy clothes for them to wear !! As well as clothes for his friends’ stuffed toys!!

Naoto - he LOVES puzzles of all kinds. Jigsaw puzzles and paper mazes and word searches and scavenger hunts… wah… if he is feeling fuzzier and it as harder to think through puzzles on his own he likes to watch kids’ detective shows or read stories !! It is like he is helping figure out the mysteries but if he misses something that is okay the characters in the show or book will figure it out!

Teddie - he likes playing outside like Chie except a MILLION times more eventually she will tire herself out but Teddie WON’T. EVER. He is ALWAYS running and jumping around… especially if someone lets him have [too much] sugar… eek! Also he is soso clingy all the time he is begging people to play with him or give him piggy back rides Especially Yosuke his big brother even when they are big ๑>ᴗ❛๑

Ayane - she is pretty similar to Yuu in that she doesn’t do much on her own !! She is kind of a bath time and nap time girlie with snack time if she remembers but when she is with Yuu snack time is a MUST they take turns making bunny apples to share 🤍 and then they do colouring or watch baby shows depending on how active they are feeling before falling asleep snuggling

i could see sancho having a pretty wide regression range tbh! generally speaking, she falls into the 6-8 range, but if she's stressed or upset about something she falls closer to 4 or 5, maybe even smaller.

her primary caregiver is well, her father! i could even see la manchaland's don quixote being the one to introduce her to regression, knowing that his kindred didn't have the best childhood he'd want to have nicey times with her :) she usually still refers to him as 'father' but if she's smaller she might call him 'papá' i think

bari also looks after her!! i imagine as sancho becomes more interested in the stories bari shares with her father the more she slips into headspace around her... she's like a cool big sister to her

i can imagine the other manchegan bloodfiends looking after her from time to time, which she has... mixed feelings about. i do also hc them all as regressors as well, and while she doesn't play with dulcinea or nicolina much i feel like she could have a nice time parallel playing with curiambro. they could read together!

generally, i think sancho prefers doing quiet activities by herself. reading, doing puzzles, making up little stories with her toys... that sort of thing. that's not to say she doesn't also love going on silly play pretend adventures with people, no matter how much she pretends she doesn't.

while she's usually too big for a pacifier, she's a huuuge chewer. you know that she's chewing on that boa when she's nervous and it's a big signal to the others that she's about to drop.

i thiiink she's pretty prone to tears, especially if she's on the smaller end of her range. she's not typically a very loud crier but expect lots of teary eyes, lip trembles, gentle whines... holds her so gently

haaates being treated like a baby but also will sometimes get scared / anxious and cling to her father, if she can.

i've been mostly thinking about her with her family/bari but her on the bus is interesting to think about... her regressing after canto 7 and being herself and not keeping up with the don persona (if that makes sense idk)... being sad about her family and feeling weird about the other sinners... oughhh

she doesn't throw fits very easily but she can deff get grumpy if she's sleepy / hungry / annoyed. sometimes she'll protest a nap (especially if she's feeling more like a bigger kid) but she's usually okay with them.

for sure she has a plushie she's really attached to, maybe a teddy bear or a little horse like rocinante? she takes it everywhere with her when she's small and will sometimes communicate through it if she doesn't wanna tell someone something directly. sad thought but i'd imagine that plushie was the only thing she was able to take with her when she went with bari :(

i'm not 100% on it but i coulddd see her being a pet regressor too? maybe it's all the fanart where her boa is treated like a tail. she's like a little wet puppy to me

I'm new here and still figuring out Tumblr. But someone helped me out, and I realized Tumblr is actually a pretty decent platform. I liked it, and I appreciated its vibe. Maybe this is the right place for me—a little corner of the internet to call my own.

The lore I’m building revolves around the “Old Reality,” a project I’ve been working on for 4–5 years. It’s a part of the SCP universe, and the main character of this story is my persona, Dr. D. Patch. It’s my copying mechanism. Because of that, it can be potentially triggering, containing psychological horror, religious and sexual trauma, toxic relationships, gore, body horror, and other heavy themes. My goal isn’t to romanticize these topics—that’s not healthy. I’ll be sharing parts of my work here, and I don’t mind answering polite questions about it.

Agere!Yosuke HCs

A/N: I’m finally back on my writing kick and these have been burning a hole into my drafts so I’ve gotta post them before I forget about them again ^^;;

- I think Yosuke would be flip with a bit of a more regressor lean! Whenever he’s small, he tends to get clingy towards Yu. Yu and Yosuke take turns watching each other whenever they’re small, though they’ve regressed together a couple times! They’re practically inseparable..

- Yu is honestly his favorite caregiver out of all his friends. Don’t get him wrong! He loves all his friends!! It’s just that Yu is the best partner in the whole wide world! He knows everything about him! Favorite foods, favorite shows, favorite places to go, you name it! Yu is an overdramatic caregiver. He dramatizes everything! (Thanks Yumi)

- His headspace is about 2-4 making him pretty close in age to Chie! Chie often gets them wrapped up in mischief— nothing too bad of course! Simple things like whoopie cushions and those things that pop out of cans (I actually can’t think of the name)

- He likes being Yu’s big bro when they’re small together. Yu usually falls around 1-2 in headspace, automatically giving him more attention. Yosuke loves smol Yu but he can’t help but feeling a little jealous sometimes. (Inspo’d by this please go read it mcschnuggles’ works are SO good)

- Yosuke is one of the easier littles to deal with of the Investigation Team. He’s actually a bit more of a low-energy kiddo and would rather watch TV than do something like racing Chie around. Despite this, he really enjoys the park! Somehow, the Investigation Team found a relatively secluded park a few blocks over from Junes that they take the littles to sometimes. He particularly enjoys the slide, always trying to get his friends to watch him go down!

- Yosuke’s big self is clumsy enough as, so his regressed self leaves him even more accident prone. Not to worry as Yu carries around a mini first aid kit! There’s all kinds of pretty colored bandaids he can choose from! Yu always makes sure to kiss the owies away so they can go away faster!

- Yosuke would never admit to being as clingy as he is to Teddie. Teddie’s like a fun older brother when he’s small! He’s the “don’t tell Nao-chan we stayed up late eating ice cream”™️ caregiver. He’s chaotic, very much so, but he can also be pretty responsible with small Yosuke. He can adapt to Yosuke’s moods easily. He’s having a bad day? We will eat Topsicles and go play something! Don’t want to play? That’s fine, we can do something quiet instead!

- Rise sings to the littles all the time and Yosuke, being the music lover he is, enjoys it the most! Also he’s like a huge Risette fan too. Rise has every single Disney song memorized and could probably break out into a Disney medley at the drop of a hat. A little movie night at the Amagi Inn with everyone sounds so fun!!
