okay there is one thing i really wanted to show yall. one day when i was thrifting i got this 1956 second edition copy of an original betty crocker cook book… for $2. and its kind of a mindfuck

its a beginners cookbook so they have several pages just defining cooking terms and giving tips like where to store food (p helpful honestly)

theres three pages dedicated to meal planning everyday with some pretty goddamn 1956 esque meals

my favorite was of course the baking section, the one im most likely to use

and since its 1956, they have a “foreign flavors” section with such exotic dishes like… enchiladas! spaghetti and meatballs! chow mein!

thats not even the worst though. there’s this legit depressing (imo) section aimed at what has to be a hypothetical house wife reading this and giving her tips on how best to manage her chores every single day:

look at those fucking tips 😭 “is the constant drudgery and upkeep and childcare without access to your own bank account or ability to leave your unloving husband getting you down? have you tried laying down? have you tried thinking positively?”

The relationship between the Prime Deities and the Betrayers is so interesting, especially when examined through the lens of grief.

One side mourning the loss of their home, running and building a new home. With new life and hope, in hopes of honouring what they had lost. And recreate that feeling of home.

The other mourning and carrying that loss with them, being defined by their grief. Viewing the world they're siblings created as nothing but a mockery that spits on the memories of home. Their true home.

Undertale Rainbow Teaser Poems (3/5)

They're done! This one only went as fast as it did as Stella's was the one I finished before even the first post. I had to edit hers tho as her's compared to everyone else's looked so plain, thus I added her little friend and caretaker :p Also, a small thing to tell y'all about Percy's, their binary translates to two different messages, there's only those two and no more. It's a simple message you can use any online translator to figure out. Lemme know if the binary is too hard to see and I'll put the binary phrases in the comments. The souls do have magic relating to their traits that only awoken when they fell into the underground, as humans over the years both demonized and forgot their magic as they wanted to distance themselves from the monsters who taught them it. Some traits, like integrity and justice, have more than one ability, but that's something more touched on in Undertale Rainbow. Perseverance has a shield/forcefield that they can only use on themselves at least on Percy's level, which can keep them in place (a reference to the grid from this soul mode in the game if that makes sense). That's all I'm revealing for now, just know we have thought of all of this before we created the story, so most discoveries will be intentional from the start.

I didn't make any progress on quantum.... however I did complete the last two assignments from my TA course ! also just found out we have another quantum homework due on the day of the exam so 😃
