BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: MORE SNOCKMATE LORE

(no seriously, these are also based off my actual headcanons of the Tower, such as the Safe Houses or Forbidden--I just combined it with the snockmates lol)

Under the Cut: Spoilers for history given during Floor of Death by Garam, ALONG WITH ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP TW

First off snockmates show up not as regular socks in my AU but moving tattoos that cover your feet just one inch above the ankle. When coming into contact with your snock’s feet, the tattoos glow a variation of colors depending on each other’s visual manifestation of shinsu. The scientific term for this is Par Pedis, literally “Pair of the Foot”.

When Macseth made his pockets, he used the word Foot Mate, which is “Sonakarin Mete”

Somewhere along the way, an idol named Digi was doing an interview

In the middle of it, her pocket broke down

And that’s when people heard of the word “Sonakarin”

As her mother tongue was Macsethian

The first two syllables sounded a lot like “sock” and someone commented on it, to which Digi decided to popularize the term as Snockmate. It ended up catching on REALLY WELL, as people loved her more than they hated that ridiculous terminology.

Now, some more history!

During the Age of Ascension, the Great 10 Families and the 2 Hidden Heads were granted this choice from the Guardian of 100F: Give up your snockmate or give up your chance for immortality.

Po Bidau Gustang gave up his without a second thought, more than happy to rid himself of a shackle that would bring him nothing but trouble. He was the first one to go through the process of losing his snock, thus everyone saw firsthand how those beautiful tattoos disappeared from his skin--along with any chance of identifying his “destined love”.

Everyone else was very hesitant in doing this, but the chance of immortality was too good to give up.

After all, along with Gustang, all but four of them have found their snock.

Hendo Lok Bloodmadder was not one of those four and he did not want to give up the one destined to be with him.

Thus, he begged for the Guardian to give him another chance. The Guardian responded with this: Ensure the birth of your children and siphon the years of their life into yours.

With guilt--but not enough to regret--and desperation, he did. His shinsu was reprogrammed by the Guardian to forever carry this curse onto future generations.

He was the next person to be granted immortality. The other Heads saw no physical malformations in him, could see clearly the tattoos still on his feet, and feel through his shinsu that he carried the same promise of longevity as Gustang. But the horror of giving up the sanity and safety of their future children?

Eurasia Blossom, Lo Po Bia, and Tu Perie could not swallow such a thing, and thus, they lost their snocks.

Arie Hon and Khun Eduan however...

In exchange for immortality, the Guardian demanded this of them:

Hon could not have any relation with his children, could not look upon them. Any child that would run up to him with excitement and a good heart, he would have to crush by ensuring a demon would corrupt them, from the inside to out.

Eduan would have to bear one child every year he is alive and he will never know peace within his household. Eventually the number of children would swell to a point of dissent and resentment and he could do nothing to quell it.

Then there was Yeon Hana, but she had a very special offering for the Guardian.

“Instead of my children, I wish to be a female that cannot feel love towards the opposite sex. If my Par Pedis disappears because of this, then so be it.”

The result?

Her snocks did not disappear.

Which leads us to the last five.

Ha Yurin and Ari Han were snockmates. They knew that, upon this removal, their feelings for each other would disappear. But what is the point of having a family that would suffer from the consequences of their decisions? Yet, at the same time...

...What is the point in continuing forward if they were not guaranteed a future?

They made a pact with each other--they would learn to love each other even without the connection of their Par Pedis. There had to be a reason why they were together and that must be because they were meant to be.

(Later, they would try their best to revive the feelings their snock connection gave them)

(From this, they would have twin daughters together)

(Afterwards, they would be forced to accept that they could never love each other the way they used to)

(From this, they would realize they could never love anyone the way they used to love each other)

(Later, they would wish things turned out differently)

And finally, there was V, Arlene...and Arlene’s snockmate: Jahad.

Yes.

The one the Tower had decided Arlene belonged to was Jahad. They started off in love. He loved her beauty, her kindness, her carefree smile. She adored his adventurous nature and the excited way he would chase after opportunities before him.

Then, the more they climbed the tower, bit by bit, slowly but surely...

He changed.

Jahad’s disagreement with Arlene’s opinions soon turned to harsh reprimand over what he deemed stupid. Complaints of how Arlene should act twisted into demands over, again and again, how she should think. He did not want her to freely show kindness to others, yet would be resentful if he did not show enough kindness towards him.

Anger and accusation would what await her if she showed something other than happiness with him. He would berate her if she made any little mistake in her magic, saying how she would get herself and others killed if she didn’t use her common sense. If she was gone for too long, he would threaten to chain her to him so that he wouldn’t lose her.

Everyone knew Jahad was too much and they all carried varying levels of disgust when it came to his actions. Ha, Ari, and Yeon were particularly critical of him and would be allies in trying to give Arlene some form of freedom.

But V was the one who would directly try to talk Jahad down from his actions. He was particularly vital in the plans utilized to help Arlene--she knew this.

And so did Jahad.

But going back to the exchange for Immortality...

Jahad was ready to forsake the life of his and Arlene’s children for their immortality, telling her and everyone,

“Who else would I choose? The woman I love more than everything? Or children who could end up being worthless?”

Ha, Ari, and Yeon screamed obscenities at Jahad as usual. V tried to talk him down from it, encouraging him to take Arlene’s feelings into consideration and to not speak for her, but to allow her to have a voice.

While this was going on, Arlene screams to the guardian:

“No more! I relinquish my Par Pedis! Give me immortality!”

But it was never immortality she wanted. She didn’t care about how long she lived...

...She just wanted to live.

And the rest was history.

V would never get his chance for immortality--Jahad ensured he was not allowed that chance.

Rounding up a week in Hollyoaks (1st-5th February 2020)

Sienna found herself in another fine mess this week as her affair with Warren was revealed in a very public fashion (well, as public as you can get within the current Covid restrictions). The drama kicked off as Summer told Warren and Sienna that she’d posted a photo of the pair kissing through Brody’s letterbox, however, she was made to feel bad when they explained it away. Sienna was able to retrieve the envelope before Brody opened it, and everyone headed to The Hutch for the engagement party. However, after Grace and Warren pointed out that Brody deserved to know the truth, the photo was shared online under as hashtag created by Brody and Sienna to enable their friends to post photos from the party. One by one, Brody, Liberty and Damon saw the photo and a devastated Brody demanded to know if Sienna had been having an affair with Warren...

Although Sienna initially begged for Brody to hear her out, she eventually admitted the truth, leading to Brody walking out on her, and Liberty and Damon also turning against her. Not one of take no for an answer, Sienna went to see Brody, but on her way, bumped into Warren and discovered that he’d been the one to share the photo. When Sienna eventually caught up with Brody, he insisted that the pair had no future together, and cruelly told her that he hated the shirt she’d bought for him to wear at the party. Despite this, Sienna vowed to wait in the village for Brody until he was ready to give her a second chance. Might get a bit chilly, Sienna...

Sienna’s hopes of a reunion with Brody soon hit a Summer shaped bump in the road, when she spotted the newcomer wearing Brody’s shirt. Summer allowed Sienna to believe that she and Brody had slept together when actually, for once, the truth was far innocent, and Summer was later seen giving the shirt back to Brody and thanking him for lending it to her. Sienna was devastated and decided to go “off-grid”, so that nobody could continue to rub salt into her wounds. Unfortunately, Brody decided at precise that moment that maybe Sienna deserved another chance after-all, and sent her a message asking to meet. However, Sienna did not get the message, and when she failed to turn up, Brody headed to The Loveboat with Summer. Deciding she’d put Brody through enough, Sienna told him that she accepted that their relationship was over.

Meanwhile, there was more trouble for George and John Paul this week when, following the return of Dean, John Paul left a drunken voicemail for George, lying to him that he was with James and that Dean was welcome to him. The following day, George confronted John Paul over the message, and accused him of being insecure before reminding him that he was the one he wanted to be with. Later, John Paul was preparing for a meeting to discuss Juliet’s education whilst on remand, but he assured George that it was only Marnie he was meeting and that James would not be present. However, George accused John Paul of lying to him when he later spotted him and James talking outside The Dog. In order to get ‘revenge’, George went to see Dean and seduced him, all the while allowing John Paul to listen in via his phone. Although initially upset, John Paul decided to give George another chance when Courtney told him that she regretted all of the time that she and Jesse had wasted, and George and John Paul agreed to put their exes behind them.

Courtney was soon left regretting her decision to push George and John Paul back together when she overheard Dean talking about the abuse he’d suffered at George’s hands. Courtney tried to warn John Paul, but George walked in on the tail end of the conversation and quickly worked out what was being said. Back at The Dog, George lied that Dean had abused him, which prompted John Paul to open up about his rape at the hands of Finn. However, although George was initially sympathetic, he quickly turned on John Paul and accused him of making everyone all about him...

In other news this week, under orders from Victor, a devastated Sid was forced to beat Ollie up when he failed to pay for the drugs he’d taken, whilst George succeeded in getting Seth to leave the village minus Theresa and the money they’d blackmailed. Jack worried that Nancy was taking on too much as she prepared to return to work and finally, Cleo discovered that Dr Ley was keeping Toby at The Loft...

The Gabbie Hanna Drama

YouTube is a platform where creators can create content and videos that people will be interested in watching. Many times, creators will use click bait as their title and the thumbnail can be somewhat over exaggerated. YouTube are also in different communities as well. You got your beauty community which contains Jeffree Star, James Charles, Michelle Phan etc. The Gamers which have Markiplier, Jacksepticeye and Pewdipie. But today, the community I want to talk about is the storytimers because many Youtubers are part of that community are some low-key drama. Storytimers in which the majority of them are females talks about things that happened to them in the past or just recently in order to get views. storytimers are most likely to have a messed up childhood and can’t seem to stay of child and the story mostly includes them making dumb decisions. Although many people actually enjoy watching this community, storytimers can be somewhat untrustworthy. Because they are over exaggerating an incident that happened to them it makes the viewers feel skeptical and wonder what happened to them as they said is true or not. This also will follow them If they are stuck controversy as well. When reading that part, the first you can think of is Tana Mongeau. A 21 year old Youtubers who makes storytime videos and have been a fair share of controversy as well. However this topic isn’t about Tana Mongeau, not this is about another storytimer whom is similar to Tana and that is Gabbie Hanna.

Gabbie Hanna is a youtuber that I did frequently watch at one time but stopped because I found other entertaining Youtubers. Like Tana, Gabbie has made storytime videos and also over exaggerates in her videos just like other any storytimers would. Before going on youtube, Gabbie was a viner. An platform where you can make a video only 16 seconds. However when Vine was shutdown, many of the vines went to YouTube including Gabbie Hanna herself. This gave Gabbie an opportunity to talk about things that happened to her in the past or even just three months ago. Because Gabbie was popular on vine many people had their opinions on her already. Gabbie is 50/50, some love her while others not so much and like Tana, Gabbie has been in controversies which gives people many opinions on her. The biggest one would have to be the incident between her and ricegum. They were at a party, Gabbie was trying to get ricegum to do a rap battle with her, other stuff were mentioned and ricegum broke Gabbie’s phone. This incident happened in 2017 and Gabbie has been in a few controversies like when she faked herself being in coachella and when she encouraged her fans to buy these brushes from a website called but many fans were scammed and got these cheap-like brushes instead. Since than she hasn’t been in any controversies for past 10 months.... until now.

Gabbie has been into another controversy from both different people in different dramas. Trisha Paytas And Jessi Smiles. The first one being with Youtuber Trisha Paytas And the feud between the two is more high school drama. Trisha makes a video talking about how Gabbie told Jason that Trisha had STDs and according to Trisha, she doesn’t have them. Gabbie responded by saying that she didn’t say Trisha had STDs, a close friend of Trisha told her and didn’t know whether or not it was true. She only told Jason Nash whom was dating Trisha Paytas about it so he could be more careful. At one point, Gabbie says that Trisha has been harassing another youtuber Gabi demartino Trisha saw the tweets from Gabbie Hanna and publicly said that she was suing Gabbie Hanna for defamation. There were other things that happened in the drama, but they aren’t that important and also not surprising at the same time. The controversy didn’t end there for Gabbie Hanna and another had come to centre, this time a bit more serious. Gabbie and another youtuber named Jessismiles were at one point, they made videos together and so on. The two had a falling out and are known longer friends. It’s unknown why they aren’t friends anymore but after this recent conflict that Jessi talks about in her recent video, the friendship will be shattered.

Now before explain what happen and my opinions, I do have a controversial opinion. I didn’t want to be another James Charles vs Tati Westbrook drama because that’s what it feels like to be honest. The people are similar but the drama however is different. Tati And Jessi are both Youtubers who not many people know unless because they aren’t well-known like James and Gabbie. They are both rarely in drama which makes people believe them because of this. When Tati made that video called “Bye Sister” and accused of all the things that James did without any reciepts we took her word for it. James And Gabbie are well known Youtubers and gone through a lot of scandals and controversy. So before I watched Jessi’s video that were my mind went to however after finished watching the video and reading the DMs that will be mentioned as well as the statement, I’ve come to realise that James and Gabbie are shown to be different when it comes to defending themselves and trying to save their careers.

Jessi made a video called “Gabbie Hanna needs to be stopped” and in the video it has a lot of exposure on who Gabbie truly is as a person when the camera isn’t on. In the video, Jessi mentions Trisha’s video and one thing that Trisha says how scared she of Gabbie Hanna which gave Jessi anxiety and what Gabbie did yesterday prior to when the video was posted that made her crossed the line. Jessi explains a former fan of Gabbie posted a tweet stating how Gabbie chose Curtis Lepore over Jessi and publicly defended him. If many of you don’t know, in 2014 Curtis Lepore went to the police station to confessed that he raped Jessi while she was unconscious. Gabbie decided to DM Deanna and asked why do people believe that she defended him. Deanna let Gabbie tell her side of the story whether or not if she was ever friends with Curtis. When Gabbie tells her story. She rarely mentions Curtis but instead brings up her friendship to what Deanna was saying. When reading the messages between Gabbie and Deanna, Gabbie seems to be avoiding any questions involving around her alleged friendship with Curtis and instead sneers about Jessi and their friendship they once have. Gabbie also explains how she got an unknown caller which turned out to be Curtis who rang and apologise to her if he was ever mean to her in the past. Jessi explains that part was true but the conversation happened face to face while she was hanging out with Curtis’ friends not through phone because that’s what Gabbie told her. During this part of the video, Jessi seems to be hurt and betrayed. Jessi told Gabbie how messed up it was for Gabbie to hang out with him and his friends. Gabbie defended herself by saying she was only hanging out with his friends and he happened to be there and according to Jessi, Gabbie said to her, “Jessi, his friends didn’t rape you”. It hard to know whether or not this part is true, this wasn’t through text messages but actually through a face to face conversation. Gabbie however said she doesn’t remember saying that. It’s normal for us to not remember things that we have said in the past because apparently the average person speaks somewhere in between 125 to 150 per minute, but interesting that one person can remember while the other person who said it can’t. In that context itself, Gabbie is implying that just because one person caused you trauma doesn’t mean you should punish everyone else around him. However it’s not case for Jessi and people who are victims of rape. They chose to still remain friends with Curtis after what he had confessed and done meaning they are just as equally bad as Curtis. So seeing someone that considered to be friend one time decided to hangout with his friends, Jessi felt hurt by Gabbie for actually doing something that. Although Jessi never bought this up, but another youtuber by the name of ReadytoGlare did however. n the DMs, Gabbie brings up that she lost a lot of friends due to her siding with Jessi during the whole “rape drama”. This rubbed people the wrong way says a lot about Gabbie Hanna. Using the term “rape drama” shows that Gabbie thinks that what happened to Jessi isn’t that big of deal and she only side with her not because she was a good friend but saw Jessi as an experiment she needed to fix. Because Gabbie lost her friends, Gabbie is probably regretting ever siding with Jessi and wonder what could’ve been if she sided with Curtis Lepore instead. Remind you that Gabbie said that she became friends with Jessi after the allegation became public.

During the video, Jessi explains that Gabbie would always paint Jessi as a crazy peris a video that made two years where she mentioned that this person (Jessi) who she’ll be talking about as being a crazy person and somewhat psychotic who is emotionally unstable that Gabbie was destine to fix. However it gets worse when Gabbie told Deanna that Jessi said that she took meds to explain her behaviour and also why she keeps lying. At this moment, Gabbie crossed the line. When it come mental health, it’s none of our business what people like Jessi in how they treat their mental illness unless they are opened to talk about it. Gabbie is also seen as a hypocrite and even belittles by saying that because Jessi takes meds, we shouldn’t take her word whenever Jessi speaks out. The reason why Gabbie looks like hypocrite is because she’s mental health advocate but now it only seems that she’s mental advocate when it benefits her. Gabbie explains in a story on how nice she is despite the fact that she made a tweet talking about how you don’t have proof to people that you’re honest, nice or generous. Gabbie is doing something similar to what Jake Paul after the amounts of hate he was receiving in 2017 by making a music video and list the good things he’s done. Because Gabbie didn’t practice what she preach, it’s hard for people to see as this nice person considered what she did to Deanna and Jessi. Deanna made a statement saying that Gabbie was doing what her abusive boyfriend did by manipulating her and also gaslighting her as well. Gabbie gaslights Deanna by trying to make her feel bad for making the tweet about her defending Curtis without any proof or evidence. Although there isn’t evidence that Gabbie publicly defending Curtis, it’s possible that she secretly supported him in private. The only people who can give us this information are curtis’ friends. I also found out that Curtis was arrested on September 18 2013 and the tweets that Gabbie mentions Curtis send in which people have been using as evidence were both posted on September 24th 2013 and December 4th 2013.

Earlier I brought up on why people skeptical when storytimers like Tana or even Gabbie tell a story about what happened to them because there might a big gap in their story like when they are in a controversy and they don’t hold themselves accountable or even tell the full story and they think people are going to accept it. Their fans might but everyone else would not. Like I said before about the James Charles Situation and how he is different to Gabbie when it comes to saving his career is because James Charles used the reverse and debunked all the evidence and clear up the misunderstanding while Gabbie doesn’t do any of that and did something similar like what Jake Paul did.

Gem Ascension Tropes (Chartreuse Diamond-specific: P - Y)

Power Crystal: Like Peridot, her diamond rests on her forehead, centered within the peridot gemstone it emerged from. Both gemstones are essential to Chartreuse’s livelihood and is the source of the great power she wields.

Power Dyes Your Hair: Just slightly; the tips of her pigtails have a neon green gradient that fades into her traditional color.

Power Floats: Since she’s way smaller than her fellow Diamonds, Chartreuse can make better use of this ability to get around and doesn’t need a metal platform to do this anymore.

Power Makes Your Hair Grow: As large as her Mega Twintails are, this is definitely the case.

Power Makes Your Voice Deep: It’s noted in the narrative that her voice is similar to Peridot’s, but lower-pitched.

The Power of Hate: This originally stemmed from Peridot in Chapter 6 of Act III when she’s triggered by seeing (the presumed) White Diamond’s neck and has a raging desire to get back at her for how exactly she got Tricked to Death. While Peridot’s capable of summoning an energy blade similar to what White used on her, she’s not nearly strong enough to even make a scratch on White Diamond. Much to her disgust, she has to become Chartreuse in order to truly damage her foe. By adopting Peridot’s Ax-Crazy mentality, Chartreuse does quite a number on White’s neck.

Razor Wind: Already conjured by Peridot’s Heroic BSoD, shifting into Chartreuse during this only makes this a more lethal byproduct of her never-ending crying. This variant tears Homeworld’s atmosphere to shreds.

Reforged Into a Minion: She exists because Peridot had to be Left for Dead at the end of Act I, leaving her fully at White Diamond’s mercy. Granted, it took a long time for White to break her, but once she finally did, Chartreuse is the end result of this trope.

Regretful Traitor: Just as Chartreuse is starting to warm up to the idea of being a Diamond, the appearance of the Crystal Gems makes her regret the decision immediately. For a while, Chartreuse can’t bring herself to even admit to her friends that she’s Peridot, even if there wasn’t the constant threat of White Diamond hanging over them. Even though Peridot was heavily manipulated into becoming Chartreuse, it doesn’t make her any less ashamed that she submitted to White Diamond’s will at all.

Remember That You Trust Me: Reconstructed: A week of torture and mind manipulation has caused Peridot (and Chartreuse, by extension) to realize not only the full extent of her Dark and Troubled Past, but her origins when she’s revealed by White Diamond to be an Unwitting Test Subject. When the Crystal Gems come to her rescue after she had given up hope on them ever returning, Peridot has become Chartreuse and immediately feels conflicted about what to do. At first, she feels unworthy of reuniting with her friends; Chartreuse regards her very identity as a betrayal of the highest degree. The Crystal Gems’ unfriendly reactions towards her (none knowing she’s Peridot at this time) seem to reinforce Chartreuse’s paranoia that her friends would no longer trust her enough to take her back, even if she revealed her true identity on the spot. Thus, the perceived lack of faith of the Crystal Gems compel Chartreuse to actively become their adversary… until she critically wounds Garnet on accident. While she captures her friends on White Diamond’s orders regardless, Chartreuse is now uncertain of where she truly stands – especially when by this point, Steven has figured out who she truly is and didn’t actively shun her. Combined with White’s condescending attitude that finally makes Chartreuse realize the former never gave a damn about her, she’s compelled to return to the Crystal Gems regardless of what the rest of them might think of her perceived betrayal. Once she reunites with Steven alone, Chartreuse apologizes profusely. However, Steven doesn’t hesitate to help her out; he asks Chartreuse a poignant question that solidifies her alignment from that point forward.

Chartreuse Diamond: “I’ve been more afraid of everything, lately… I’m doubting myself at every turn. I don’t really feel like me, Steven. And I gave you and everyone else so much grief because I’m so stupid and insecure and I don’t know why! Steven, I’m so sorry!”

(Steven, already embracing Chartreuse, pulls her towards him to get her attention.)

Steven: “Shh, shh. It’s gonna be alright, Peridot. Just relax for a bit, okay? I think I can help you. You trust me, right?”

Chartreuse Diamond: (smiling tearfully) “More than anyone I’ve ever known.”

Required Secondary Powers: Not powers, per se, but in order to be able to will something to happen or for something to exist, Chartreuse (and Peridot) needs to know what it is and mentally visualize it. This is Who I Am best represents this, as while Peridot is capable of teleportation, she needs to have an idea of where her destination is and visualize it. Before teleporting her group to Egypt, Steven shows coordinates and pictures to Peridot so she can accurately and precisely teleport herself and others to said destination. If she just learns the name of an obscure location without any additional information, she won’t be able to teleport there, as she has no concept of what direction to even go – let alone having a clue what her destination looks like.

Semantic Superpower

Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: Downplayed when she’s introduced, as Chartreuse is going out of her way to not give her friends any hints that she’s really Peridot, and this trope one of her biggest identifiable traits. After giving up the charade, it starts to come back, although it’s still not quite as prevalent as it is when she’s Peridot.

She’s Got Legs: Didn’t have much to speak of as Peridot, which is probably why she made a point to have these when she ascended.

Showing Off the New Body: Before the Crystal Gems return, Chartreuse is relegated to guard duty. She quickly becomes bored and decides to indulge in her appearance that she had yet to fully see until now.

Something Only They Would Say: Very narrowly averts this regarding her default Catchphrase Insult…

Chartreuse Diamond: “Is anyone else inclined to try something stupid, or can we move on? You cl– clowns are really trying my patience, because I’m considering helping you!”

Starting a New Life: Before the Crystal Gems return, Chartreuse tries to cope with her new identity and being stuck on Homeworld for good this time by interpreting her situation like this. Especially now that she’s a Diamond, Peridot realizes she really can have a life on Homeworld that’s both distinct and better than her previous life. She even tries to use her powers to see if she can make fauna grow from the ground on Homeworld by making it rain for the first time ever.

Super Mode: Chartreuse Diamond is essentially this for Peridot.

Super-Powered Alter Ego: While Peridot has power, her limitations stemming from the low-caste, low-quality Era 2 gem she emerged as greatly limits her range of abilities. Chartreuse is only limited by her imagination and her comprehension of whatever she wants to will into existence. In other words, Chartreuse is superior to Peridot in absolutely every aspect.

Swiss Army Superpower: The nature of being a power charged by will means Chartreuse (and Peridot) has almost limitless possibilities for how to utilize it. So long as she knows what she’s trying to do with her power and can picture it in her mind, Chartreuse wields the most versatile power one could ever have.

Symbol Motif Clothing: While Chartreuse’s outfit is distinct from Peridot’s in many ways, it largely shares her color scheme and is only slightly more revealing than her base form’s ensemble. However, to represent Peridot’s resignation back to her original alignment by agreeing to become Chartreuse Diamond, the new outfit has a diamond motif with nary a star to be seen – a clear contrast to Peridot’s newly-earned stars that replaced her original diamond motif (which she thankfully retains post-ascension).

Teleportation: Chartreuse can do this with her willpower, so long as she knows about and can visualize the spot she wants to teleport herself (and/or others) to.

Mass Teleportation: Does this near the end of Act III with all of the Crystal Gems in the makeshift spacecraft made by Iridescent Diamond. One moment they’re hanging around just outside of Homeworld’s orbit (before it explodes, anyway); the next, they’re back on the beach on Earth in front of the temple.

Teleportation Rescue: In an inadvertent 2-step process, Chartreuse managed to free the other Crystal Gems who were imprisoned in White Diamond’s bubbles while White Diamond herself was preoccupied with Steven, replacing them with holograms while teleporting them in a hidden corner near the ceiling. Unbeknownst to her, Lion would soon arrive at that precise spot to relocate the Crystal Gems outside the palace and back to their spaceship.

Temporarily a Villain: Her base form is the Hero Protagonist; she acts as a direct enemy of the Crystal Gems for all of one chapter (Chapter 3, Act III), then her Heel Realization towards the end of said chapter turns her back to the side of good, regardless of whether she’s Peridot or Chartreuse.

Then Let Me Be Evil: Strongly considers this in Chapter 3 of Act III after enduring hateful (albeit mostly justified) anti-Diamond slander thrown at her by the Crystal Gems, as it further convinces her they’d never take her back even if she did reveal she was Peridot all along. However, after attacking Garnet brutally to shut her up (She Knew Too Much) and damaging her far beyond what she meant to inflict, she begins Cry Laughing over her actions (as well as her own stupidity for not realizing her Mismatched Eyes were a dead giveaway for her identity) and dispatches the rest of her friends in far less violent fashion, though still maintaining an antagonistic front. What shakes her out of this is the following report to White Diamond, where Chartreuse realizes despite her ascension that she’s still regarded the same way she was as Peridot, and White’s attitude towards her mirrors Yellow’s almost perfectly. When Chartreuse realizes nothing about her really changed, she fully defies the trope.

Thought-Controlled Power: The basic definition of Chartreuse and Peridot’s ascended powers. Unlike Peridot, Chartreuse’s potential is limited only by her own imagination and comprehension.

Trapped in Villainy: Genuinely believed even when the Crystal Gems returned that there was nothing she could do without being a traitor to somebody. Being properly paranoid that her friends wouldn’t take her back now that she was a Diamond, Chartreuse genuinely felt she had no choice but to be the Crystal Gems’ enemy.

Vapor Wear: How one can define Chartreuse’s skirt – it’s almost entirely translucent, so whatever its purpose is, it certainly isn’t to cover up what’s underneath (which thankfully just the bottom half of her leotard).

Walking Spoiler: The most prevalent one of the bunch, as Chartreuse has a much bigger role in GA than her fellow spoiler characters. Being the Hero Protagonist’s Alter Ego is sort of a big deal. Even her appearance is a giant spoiler, since her design is so heavily derived from Peridot’s (and shares the same gemstone, only with a diamond merged within it).

Who’s Laughing Now?: While it’s killing Chartreuse to hurt her friends, she has an easier time doing it to Lapis than anyone else. Lapis is the only one who evades her designated pitfall trap due to being able to fly. After mocking Chartreuse and calling her a clod (which Chartreuse herself nearly used before stopping herself moments earlier), it suddenly becomes much easier for Chartreuse to give Lapis a little torture by having Lapis forcibly sucked down into her prison. Chartreuse gladly watches Lapis fall into the abyss before delivering a parting line.

Chartreuse Diamond: “Who’s the clod, now?”

You Are What You Hate: Peridot has loathed the Diamonds since her Broken Pedestal moment with Yellow Diamond. Now she’s (partially) a Diamond herself as Chartreuse, and this is one of the leading causes of Peridot’s resentment of her Alter Ego.

You’re Insane!: Her reaction to White Diamond’s proposal to perform fusion with two Diamonds – something never done before that carries a high risk of wide-scale destruction should it fail.

Your Tradition is Not Mine: After White Diamond’s self-destruction, Chartreuse is adamant that she and Pink 2.0 will not found a new Diamond Authority for Era 3. They won’t be dictators, but rather teachers and guides to help all gems forge their own path. Which is fundamentally the opposite of what the Diamond Authority did.

Youthful Freckles: Gains these on her cheeks, despite not visibly having freckles as Peridot. Word of God gave her freckles deliberately to accentuate her youth despite her overall more mature appearance compared to Peridot’s.

Lazzie (Lapis Lazuli)- The oldest at 23. Lapis and Peri weren’t actively trying to have her, but they were pretty happy to discover she was on the way. She’s very aloof and spends most of her time hiding out and making meepmorps. She has hydrokinesis, but she’s never bothered honing in on the skill so much. Otherwise, she doesn’t have much of a weapon, considering her general disinterest in trying to make water wings. The most “Peridot” thing about her is probably a need to record things she sees and her affinity to gain interest in things rapidly, often reflected in the art she makes.

Turq (Turquoise)- 17. An extremely impulsed decision by Lapis and Peridot that they’ll never regret for a second. Loudmouthed, technical, and not so great at reading a room. Opposite to her older sister in that Peridot definitely dominates her personality. Hydrokinetic and ferrokinetic, though within far weaker bounds than her parents in those regards. She likes trying to work around her limits and seeing what she can do with scrap metal she finds hanging around. She has more of a capacity to be cruel than Peridot, though, and she’s far less likely to apologize for it. No matter how bad she actually feels for it, she’s too stubborn to admit to being wrong and tends to get really prickly and reclusive when her feelings clash like that.

Dot (Peridot)- 14, and a happy surprise. She’s as ferrokinetic as any Peridot can be. She loves to look graceful and dignified, and will probably refuse to speak to anyone first. She’s easy to crack if you don’t immediately start paying attention to her. Prepare to get an earful (and a bricked phone) if you cross her friends.

Violet (Violet Pearl)- 19 years old. Lazzie got Pearl curious, and Amethyst was happy to roll with it. Her weapon is a spear, as is customary for any Pearl. Loyal to a fault, down to do basically anything, easily bored, and is actually pretty interested in organization, though not quite in the same way as Pearl. She tends to make intricate little objects from random things she can find, usually in a way that corresponds to color coding (ie: weaving together different colored string) and just sort of leaves them around the house when she’s done.

Amelie (Amethyst)- 19 years old. Violet’s twin who takes far more from Pearl. Her weapon is a whip sword. Though she spends a lot of time reprimanding Violet for leaving random things around the house and not cleaning up, she doesn’t feel any particular drive to do stereotypically “Pearl” activities, herself. If you try to tell her what to do, expect the dirtiest glare imaginable. She’s still a pretty good team player, even if she takes the most comfort in being in the lead.

Ophelia (Opal)- 17. Pearl felt particularly competitive after she discovered Lapis and Peridot were conceiving again. Amethyst, once again, was happy to oblige. Airheaded and quiet, constantly wrapped up in something small, and just sort of happy to be around. Somehow, she managed to have a crossbow for a weapon, something Amelie is immensely jealous of and Violet is always excited to see in action. She doesn’t really enjoy fighting, though, and spends her spare time at home seeing what kind of things television will introduce her to next.

“Newest Queens vigilante “Nyx” seen alongside Spiderman on a midnight prowl of the city.” You read aloud at lunch, Peter and Ned listening closely. Michelle might have been listening in too, but she didn’t show it. “Nyx, seemingly an apprentice of sorts to Spiderman, was captured on camera by teens near the docks of Brooklyn. The teens provided little comment, except that they were uneasy with her presence.”

You threw the newspaper down, trying to hide the scowl that was forming on your face. That had been the latest article of many, all of them more condescending than the next. Compared to other papers this one was tame. And “Nyx”? Seriously? Like the MAKEUP BRAND?

“What do you think about it Peter?” Ned asked, staring at his friend with a suspicious level of curiosity. Peter only shrugged, nudging Ned with his elbow.

“She’s probably a nice person.” He said, picking up an apple slice. “I haven’t seen her around Queens yet.”

“Fuckin’ nosy ass paps,” You grumbled quietly. “‘They felt uneasy around her’? What a bunch of bull.”

“What’d you say Y/N?” Ned asked, leaning closer to you.

“Nothing,” You said lightly, smiling at him. “Just talking to myself.”

“It’s a weird name to call her, don’t you think?” Michelle said loudly from her end of the table. “‘Nyx’. Not really a superhero name.”

“I think it’s ‘cause she only comes out at night,” Ned answered, toying with the straw in his milk. “And she only wears black.”

“Nah, she wears dark blue and silver too.” Peter said passively. Michelle, Ned and you all turned to look at him with varying degrees of confusion.

“I saw some other pictures,” He explained quickly, sending you a sheepish smile. You had looked the most confused. “It’s a nice suit. She seems very cool.”

Michelle raised an eyebrow. “She only comes out at night.”

“Like a bat.” Ned commented.

“Like Batman.” Peter offered.

“Like someone who wants to blend in,” You said, wrinkling your nose. “Not like Batman.”

Peter opened his mouth to say something but closed it immediately. He looked behind you, watching someone pass by. Without looking you could tell it was Kimberly. No matter how hard he tried to hide it from his friends, Peter’s eyes got a bit brighter when she was near. You’d memorized that change without meaning to, even though you didn’t like it.

“I need to go get some water.” was Peter’s brilliant excuse to talk to her. You waved your hand dismissively, flipping through the news article lazily. It’s not like you told Peter that Kimberly hated you because you failed to save her mother. Telling him must have slipped from your mind. And it’s not like guilt ate away at your insides every day because of that failure. It’s not like that at all.

“Hey Kimberly…”

You listened into their conversation, somewhat irked, your eyes still trained on the article. Kimberly’s pleasant voice faded in and out of your hearing range. You heard her giggle, saying something back to him. Listening to them talk like normal people was torture. You focused back on your newspaper. ‘Several more reports came in from a family that claimed Nyx robbed last Saturday as they came back from a concert.’ You scoffed and noisily sipped apple juice through a straw. ‘The family also chose to remain anonymous.’ Ha! Turn on your location assholes, I just wanna talk. Peter sat down again, looking happier and more thoughtful than before.

“Well what happened?” MJ asked, still glued to her book. “Did you make out or what?”

“No! No-” Peter scratched the back of his neck. “We just talked.”

“About what?” You asked, regretting it soon after. You hadn’t wanted to ask, but it slipped out.

“She’s happy to talk to someone,” Peter said, his ears turning pink. “Her mom died in the fire last month, and it’s a lot to get used to. She’s so…”

“Resilient?” Ned finished.

“Yeah, but nice too.” Peter said, glancing back at Kimberly. “And positive.”

You saw her stand up once more to throw away her trash, flashing Peter a shy smile. And, when Peter had turned his back, she met eyes with you. Kimberly looked at you like she was watching an animal eat its own throw up. That’s exactly how disgusting you felt too. Her usually kind dark brown eyes shone with cold blooded murder.

“Hey, d’you guys already have Mrs. Keilman’s class?” Peter asked, sorting through his notes. You snapped out of your trance, happily taking the chance to look away from Kimberly.

“I had her second peri-”

Your phone dinged, and you scrambled to unlock it when you saw it was your mum. It was a short text: “Don’t go to Peter’s house after school.” Before you could reply, she sent another one. “Come straight home before 5. Or I’ll leave anyway.”

“Shit.” You muttered, typing out a quick “ok”. Peter, who’d been reading over your shoulder, pretended he was minding his own business. You were too tired to tell him off.

“So what’s your mom gotta say?” MJ asked, actually looking up from her book.

“She uh- she says I can’t go to Ned’s after school,” You said, playing with your food to avoid meeting her scrutinizing gaze. “She’s probably staying at the company over the weekend.”

“You can’t come over for movie night?” Ned asked dejectedly. “But we rented Back to the Future. Peter was going to bring popcorn.”

You put on a grin and patted his back. “It’s fine Ned. Michelle will be happy to take my place, won’t you Mickey?”

“Wh- excuse me-” MJ stuttered, probably for the first time since you’d met her. She suddenly looked very flustered, a general reaction to you calling her Mickey. “F-first of all, don’t call me that. Second-”

“She’d love to go Ned.” You cut her off.

Your mother set down her wine glass and stared at you through half lidded, unimpressed eyes. This happened often, the mother daughter staring competitions, testing who would crack first. Your ears and neck felt hot, and when she raised an eyebrow, you looked away. She always won.

“I can’t believe you didn’t tell me sooner,” You said, avoiding looking at her. You sounded pouty, like the child she thought you were. “What am I supposed to do for two months? How am I going to buy food? Is this even legal?”

“It’s legal unless you decide to tell the authorities,” Your mother said cooly. “Which you won’t. You’re sixteen now, old enough to make your own decisions instead of following me like a sheep. When I was sixteen-”

“You were already starting your college education, I know.”

Your mother picked the glass up again, taking a bored sip as you continued what she considered a childish rant. “Mum, I’m not even mad ‘cause you’re leaving- I’m pissed ‘cause you supposedly forgot to tell me.”

“Watch your language.” Was her only reply.

“What-” You snapped. “I’m allowed to stay at home alone for two months but I’m not allowed to curse? That’s some backwards logic right there-”

She stood up suddenly, nearly knocking the chair over in the process. Maybe it was an adult thing, but she had always been able to silence you with her glare. Add the fact that she was a smidge taller than you, assuring her win in this intimidation game. You noticed that suitcases were already laid out on the leather couch.

“I am only doing this because the company called me a few days ago, very short notice, mind you,” She huffed. “And they need me to be there, since Kacy proved to be an incapable-”

Your mother’s nose twitched. “I’ll leave you some money. Tell Peter’s aunt if you’d like, maybe she’ll help you with groceries and such. Don’t sit around being useless like you normally do.”

Having finished off her glass, she went to put it in the sink, once again ignoring your existence. That tended to happen when you disappointed mother, and it made you shake with anger. As soon as the wine glass left her hand-

It exploded.

Your mother shrieked like a wild pig. Shards flew and scattered, thankfully staying mostly in the sink. You realized you’d been glaring at the glass and quickly looked away, still frowning.

“How the hell?” You mother breathed, hesitantly approaching the sink. She picked up a shard of glass and held it between her thumb and pointer finger, as if examining it would explain why the glass exploded. I did that. I didn’t even touch it!

“Have fun on your trip,” You murmured, pushing past her to get to your bedroom. “I hate you.”

She made no attempt to follow you, but yelled “fucking brat” as you slammed your door shut and locked it. With half a mind to fall on the bed and scream into a pillow, you instead decided to do something. Talk to someone, maybe. Still face down against the mattress, you blindly grabbed around for your phone and propped yourself up on your elbow to dial Peter.

“Hey, this is Peter. Parker. Uh, I messed up- May! How do I delete thi-”

You breathed a laugh, quiet just in case your mum was listening in. Peter never failed to mess up his voicemail. You’d been there when he spent two hours trying to make it perfect, in case Liz ever called. Through the door, you heard your mum loudly zipping up her suitcases and calling a cab. You shoved your head into the pillow and groaned. Should’ve asked when she was leaving.

You looked through your contacts and clicked May’s before thinking. Yes, dialing your best friend’s aunt’s number might not have been the best idea, but May was an angel. An angel who knew how to responsibly buy food and make out checks. She answered within two rings.

“Hello?”

“Hi May.” You greeted.

“Y/N!” She chimed. “Oh god, it’s wonderful to talk to you! How’s everything going?”

“It’s great,” You said lightly, cringing when your mum dropped a suitcase and cursed. Hopefully Aunt May didn’t hear that. “I’m doing alright. Is uh, is Peter home?”

“No. Sorry honey, he’s out with a friend. I could leave a message…?”

“That’s okay,” You refused politely. “Actually- Could I borrow Peter’s old bike? My mum won’t be able to drive me for a few months.”

“Sure, he doesn’t use it anyway. What’s wrong with your mom’s car?”

You bit your lip. “Her license expired. She has to retake the exam and all that. Can I come over and pick it up?”

“Mhmh, I’m home anyway, so…” You heard her briefly lift the phone from her ear. “Wait honey, Peter just got home. Do you want to talk to him?”

“That would be great, thank you.”

You practically felt her beam through the phone and call something to Peter. Laughter and feminine giggling sounded through your end, and no offence to Peter, but he never had girls over.

“Sorry honey,” May said, sounding confused and apologetic. “Peter’s busy right now, but you can still come over for the bike. He says he’s with a friend, but I’m positive she’s more than a friend, because I haven’t seen him look at anyone that way since Liz.”

The heat drained from your face. “M-May, who’s Peter’s friend?”

“Oh, she’s from his science class I think, very quiet by the way. I think her name is Kimberl-”

You chucked your phone across the room. Probably not your best moment, but come on. Of all the people, why, why, why, why why why why why wHY WHY-

Breathing in deeply through your nose, you marched over, picked up the phone and hesitantly lifted it to your ear. May was already panicking. “(Name) honey, are you okay? I think something fell-”

“M’fine May,” You answered. “K-knocked over my lamp, but it’s fine. I’m fine.”

She didn’t say anything for some time, and you heard her walk further away from Peter and Kimberly laughing. “Honey, is everything alright at home? If your mother’s being difficult, you can sleep over here for a few days.”

“No, no,” You said quickly. “Mum’s been normal. It’s not that.”

Only after saying that did you realize your mistake. It’s not that. You knew May narrowed her eyes when you said that. “What’s wrong...?”

You opened your mouth and were interrupted by a shriek of laughter from Kimberly. If it were possible, you felt May narrow her eyes even more and glance in their direction.

“Y/N sweetness,” She whispered, even more caring than before. “Is it Peter?”

You bit your lip harder, feeling the skin break beneath your teeth. May pretended to be clueless in terms of pop culture and teenage angst, but she understood better than any adult. She knew the answer. “Is this why he didn’t want to talk to you?”

“I don’t know,” You breathed sadly into the phone. “I don’t want to know. May, it’s better to drop it-”

“It’s her, isn’t it?”

May, you are too damn smart for anyone else’s good. Stay this way forever. “I-I think so.”

“Okay, okay, just tell me one thing,” Her voice trembled with poorly concealed excitement. “Oh, I’ve wanted to know for six years- Sorry, sorry, gotta stay on task. Do you…like him?”

For some reason you looked around the room to make sure no one was there, even though the door was locked. What a hard question. Well, not really, but it was impossible to put into words. Do I like Peter? I mean, he’s opted not to talk to me because Kimberly is there, and I wanna choke him right now… Haha, that’s what she said. If you did like Peter, did you want to? So far, him being your second biggest secret, you hated it. You’d spend life denying that you were attached to anyone, even your mother (you being emotionally distant was her fault, probably). The question still stood: Do I like Peter?

“Yeah.” You shyly mumbled into the phone. May squeaked the moment it left your lips.

“You have no idea how long I’ve waited,” May said breathlessly, like she were holding in a squeal. “This is so perfect! I mean, I always thought, hoped, even- But wow, that’s amazing!”

“Uh, May?”

“Yes honey?”

“He’s- Peter’s not-” You held the phone away from you and huffed. It seemed physically painful to say “he doesn’t like me”, but it was better to reject yourself before Peter got the chance. The group picture of him, you and Ned was sitting on your bed stand, collecting dust but ever present. You looked away from it. “Peter isn’t with Kimberly…to study. Just putting that out there.”

“Oh-” She gasped, biting her tongue. “Oh, I’m so sorry. She’s not very nice, by the way. Terrible girl. Very rude-”

“May, I know you like her. It’s okay that you like her. Kimberly’s a great person.”

It sort of burned your tongue to say that, but the statement was half true. Kim was nice to everyone, except you. She was kinder, more thoughtful, more tolerant and patient and optimistic. Perfect grades in all her advanced classes, in an already advanced school. Not to mention her flawless skin and shiny hair… But May seemed determined to make you feel better. “Y’know, there’s still something about her that I didn’t like.”

You smiled sadly at her attempt at cheering you up. “And what’s that?”

“She isn’t you, sweetness,” May said sincerely. “There’s only one of you.”

You laughed at that. “May-”

“I know, I know,” She confessed. “That might have been the corniest thing I’ve ever said, but I mean it. You’re such a wonderful girl, honey. Your mom just doesn’t give you enough credit.”

If this were said in person you might have cried, because even now your throat tightened with emotion. You let out a strangled “thanks May” before your voice got the chance to crack.

“No problem,” She said. “I’ll always be your honorary aunt. And honey?”

“Yeah?”

“Peter will always be your best friend,” May said thoughtfully. Peter and Kimberly’s voices got louder in the background. “But god help him if he hurts you, I swear I’ll-”

You giggled at her antics. “Thank you May. G’night.”

Aunt May grinned happily on her side of the call, feeling careworn but content. “Goodnight Y/N.”

Lapidot in “Raising the Barn” – From Lapis’ Side

Before I delve into Peridot’s side of the relationship in this episode (in a separate post), I want to take a look at Lapis.

“Peridot, we have to leave Earth – now!”

As soon as Lapis hears about what happens with the Diamonds, she instantly wants to leave. But notice her Lapis’ reaction here is that “we have to leave”. If she didn’t care about Peridot so much, she’d have just fled there and then. She’s clearly absolutely terrified, but she doesn’t want to leave Peridot behind.

In the next scene, we see Peridot getting very worked-up about leaving, and Lapis telling her that they can take all of their stuff with them. It would appear, then, that Lapis only does this...

...in order to appease Peridot by taking their home with them. If it were left up to Lapis, she’d have just taken Peridot with her and left the barn behind – but because Peridot is upset about losing the barn, she makes sure to accommodate her. This means, of course, that Lapis does care about how Peridot feels in all of this and is trying to keep her happy.

The dialogue in this scene is also very interesting:

“There – now we can bring our whole life with us! You, me, and all of our things!”

Just look at the dialogue that I’ve put in bold here. This shows how Lapis and Peridot share their entire life with each other. Lapis says this with a genuine smile, as if she’s more than happy to acknowledge this fact. She shares absolutely everything with Peridot and wants to continue doing so.

This is also evidenced here:

Notice how we see emphasis on Lapis squeezing Peridot’s shoulder as she’s talking – she’s literally trying to hold onto Peridot. Despite her fears and despite everything that’s going on, she desperately doesn’t want to lose Peri.

I mean, heck...

...she was even going to leave Steven behind at this point.

After the trio are reunited with Pumpkin at the end of the episode, Peridot finally decides to be honest with Lapis – by telling her that she doesn’t want them to leave the earth.

“Peridot... what are you trying to say?”

You can really hear the emotion in Lapis’ voice here. The realisation that she’s about to lose Peridot is dawning on her – and she doesn’t like it.

This isn’t the face (or the body language) of someone who wants to leave; far from it, in fact. Lapis is feeling hurt and betrayed by what she sees as a lack of honesty – and is scared. She’s been put into a very difficult situation and has to make a painful decision. She wants to leave with Peridot, but now she knows Peridot wants to fight for the Earth; which, because of her past traumas, is something that Lapis doesn’t feel able to do right now...

...so she makes the decision to leave. But, again, look at her face here. She’s hurting - badly.

She actually pauses to take one last look at Peridot before she flies away – and, again, the agony of this decision is written all over her face. Because she wanted Peridot to go with her. She doesn’t want to leave her behind but she’s so afraid of the impending war that she feels like she’s got no choice in the matter.

Now that she’s going to be alone in space for a while, this should give her time to think everything over properly. Is she going to realise that she’s made a terrible mistake and return to Earth in order to reunite with Peridot and defend their home? I think it’s highly likely. Lapis has expressed regret over her negative actions in the past on more than one occasion, so I daresay that she’ll feel guilty for leaving Peridot behind; and will want to make amends.

There’s been a running theme of “home” with Lapis and Peridot in the show up to now. Lapis thinks she’s taken her home with her into space, but has she really? “Home is where the heart is”, as the expression goes; and Lapis’ heart is well and truly with Peridot. I’m certain that, in time, she’ll come to realise this herself.

Peridot and Lapis have a much needed heart-to-heart conversation. Lapis has made many mistakes, and regrets many of her decisions. Peridot, though was she was hurt by the whole 'stealing the barn and fleeing to the moon' ordeal, wants Lapis to know they can move on and that she's there for her.

Periwinkle inquired with a slightly nervous chuckle that followed. Most fairies along with the sparrowmen minded their own business, but Periwinkle didn't. Instead she sought the company of Spike since most of them were too quiet for her taste plus some of them still blamed her along with Tinkerbell for the near death of the Pixie Dust tree. Story for human au. (Meet the Diamond family)

"Go over and introduce yourself she said. You'll make a good impression she said. Peri better be glad her boobs are life." Lapis grumbled half hearted threats to her girlfriend's decision for her to introduce herself to her new neighbors. "Well well well, look who's out and about?" Lapis gritted her teeth and glared at the small annoyance behind her. "Not now, I'm trying to say hi to my new neighbors. " she spat venomously. Aquamarine only smirked at the obviously nervous girl. "Oh really~? Then why don't we both go, I'd love a front row seat at you failing socially." She teased and Lapis growled lowly and marched her way to the house, she'd show her! Lapis instantly regretted her decision as she made it to the house, supposedly, the woman here adopted all of the kids. Lapis sighed, she knew she was delaying the inevitable so, she rang the doorbell and her ears were greeted with a sweet low woman's voice. "Coming darling!" The voice called before the door opened. Lapis' bored eye almost grew to the size of saucers. There in front of her was a tall woman. Her skin was chocolate brown, her eyes were dark brown and one was red. Lapis' throat went dry and her face turned dark red. This woman's curves were unreal, Lapis bit her lip and looked to the side nervously. Aquamarine was smiling a bit too happily at her new target- I mean neighbor. The woman chuckled softly "Are you shy dearies? Don't worry, let me get my daughters and you all can hang out." She said happily and Lapis gulped dryly "D-Daughters?" She asked while the Aquamarine's smile only got wider. and the woman smiled. "Yes, 9 girls actually. Only 7 I think are around your age though. The other two are asle- huh?" The woman looked around, Lapis and Aquamarine were booking it back home. She shrugged, concluding that the girls were just shy and got ready to call her daughters out to meet the rest of the kids in the neighborhood. "I wonder when Lapis is coming back from the new kid's house." Peri asked Amethyst and she shrugged before they were both startled by Lapis bursting through the door panting. "Hot!..... Hot!" She panted, her face still as red as it started. Aquamarine looked like she was on the verge of the most satisfying heart attack she ever had. "Hot? What are you talking about?" Amethyst asked and before either girl could answer could answer coherently, they heard commotion outside. Lapis, Peri, Aquamarine, and Amethyst peaked out the window and instantly the two knew what Lapis was talking about. The girls came out in droves as they somehow packed themselves into a purple van and went on their way to the park. The blue haired pervs watched the girls in slow motion as they went in. The mother came out first, she smiled holding two little girls in her arms, one had long brown hair while the other was a short red head. Both girls were squirming in her arms excitedly, wanting to run and touch everything. Next to come out were two natural haired beauties. One was the same chocolate complexion as their mother and it looks like she somehow inherited the hips gene despite being adopted. Her hair was as big as her smile as she practically dragged her sister along to the car. She wore a simple tee-shirt that said "free hugs!" on it and blue jeans with sneakers. The other one was almost the complete opposite. She was fair and her hair had a tinge of pink in it. What she lacked in the lower area, she made up for in her upper half, her arms. For a small girl she was packing some muscle, her arms toned, Lapis silently thanked her for wearing a sleeveless white sundress with matching flats. The next two were obviously close. One was incredibly large and full of muscle. She wore a long sleeved shirt and skirt with tights with boots. She had long orangish hair and a sweet smile as she listened to her sister talk on and on while she rode on her shoulder. The other girl was thin and graceful. She wore an elegant light yellow sundress with a pretty pink bow with eyeliner and soft red lip gloss. Her hair was also a pinkish yet it was short and spikey. She had an air that said "I think I'm better than you." about her and it made Lapis twitch slightly. Another thin and tall girl made her way to the car. She was holding two toddler bags and smiling eagerly, happy to help. Nothing, however, could prepare the group for the last three. Aquamarine and Lapis gasped as three more daughters made their way out of the house. "Damn she thick as fuck.." Aquamarine muttered under her breath as she watched the first go in. She was a black haired beauty with light green eyes. She was a full figured woman who looked soft to the touch, her fair skinned tummy being shown from her midriff and long skirt, with black boots. Next was a girl with dyed pink hair, her skin was the palest out of all of them, she wore an eyepatch on her right eye while the other eye had a red contact contrasting with her natural eye color to make a sunset color. She wore a cut off tube top with shorts and sandals. Her hair was long and silky. "This has gotta be the last one.." Peri said in amazement but, she was wrong. One more girl came out, she looked outside shyly before quickly making her way to the van. She was a tall girl, slightly plump with thick thighs. She wore dark blue jeans and a light blue shirt that went off one shoulder. Her hair was cut similar to Aquamarine's yet it was bouncy curled inward. Her eyes, though panicked, were a midnight blue which compliment her slightly tanned skin. "I can't believe this. 7 new girls in town and they're hot as hell!" Aquamarine thought to herself, already planning her pick up lines, but where to start? Lapis watched the group drive away, she then glanced at Aquamarine and glared before said blue haired flirt almost flew out the door. Lapis yelled after her and grabbed Peri and Amethyst's hands and chased after her. Both unwilling participants in the chase didn't know if Lapis was racing to warn their new neighbors or racing to get the first go. ((I hope you like this story. Family Reunions...

Rounding up a week in Hollyoaks (30th March - 3rd April 2020)

It was a week full of family reunions as Felix Westwood, Father of Mitchell, Toby and Celeste arrived in the village, whilst Sienna and the twins also landed back in Chester to be reunited with Warren. Keen to bring his family together, Walter organised a meal, and was delighted when each of his grandchildren agreed to attend. Unfortunately, Toby and Celeste hadn’t given up their quest for revenge and Celeste created an argument between Walter and Mitchell over his relationship with Scott. As Mitchell was about to storm out, he was met at the door by Felix, who was soon introduced to him as his Father...

Felix was barley in the door before he received a slap from Martine, whilst Toby and Celeste quickly hounded him for answers. Although Felix tried to explain himself, it soon became apparent that no one wanted anything to do with him. As Felix left the Deveraux’s, he came face to face with Warren, and it’s clear there’s some serious beef between the two men, as Felix received his second battering of the episode. The following day, Felix turned up at the Hutchinson’s to see Mitchell and offered to take him out once Mitchell had finished work. Mitchell was unsure but Scott encouraged him to give his Dad a chance. Mitchell and Scott were bowled over when Felix turned up with a bright pink jeep! However, things quickly turned sour when Mitchell realised that Felix had stollen the car.

Meanwhile, there was embarrassment for Liberty when she accidentally revealed her feelings for Brody via the medium of song during a concert on the Loveboat. As a humiliated Liberty ran off stage, Brody chased after and suggested they give a relationship a try, just as Sienna and Sophie returned. Sienna was in no mood to give the pair a chance to explain and revealed that she was back in Chester as the hospital had found a donor for Sebastian. It didn’t take long for Warren to discover that that Sienna and the twins were back and turned up at the flat. After opening up to his ex about his traumatic childhood, Warren and Sienna seemed to reach an understanding, and the pair agreed to put their differences behind them for the sake of the twins. As the family gathered at the hospital to await news of Sebastian, Liberty tried desperately to get through to Sienna about how much she and Brody loved her. The sisters were soon reunited, but there was soon some bad news about baby Sebastian...

In other news this week, confused by Juliet’s aloof attitude, Sid organised a weekend away for them whilst Mercedes and Sylver agreed not to get divorced, much to the delight of Bobby. Finally, Yaz offered to look after Steph whilst Tom gave a speech at an eco conference in Manchester. However, it’s a decision she may well live to regret as Tom presented her with the 200 page manual that comes with his daughter. Is Steph a child or an Ikea flat pack?
