Moon can be a prick towards Sun sometimes. However, they are not much different in that aspect. And they bicker a lot when Y/N isn't too close by to hear them. (There is a bit more text between the rest of the sketches to provide you with a few examples about their dynamic.)

Also Y/N is most of the time pretty oblivious about their rivalry.

Eclipse: "Are you sure that they are friends? They seem to have a... rather intense relationship with each other... "

Y/N: "Oh, I assure you they get along very well!"

Y/N: "Right, Moon? Sun?"

Sun: "Oh, yeah! We get along aaaaall the time! It's sooooo much fun hanging out with (Mister Popsicle) Moonie here!"

Moon: "Sure, it's always a joy to mess... I mean goof around with the Sunflower. (What did you just call me, Sunstroke?)"

Sun: "We are like the best friends you can find, right Moonie?"

Moon: "Oh, yes. Definitely, with such a good friend by my side, I don't have to be afraid of anything! (If you don't let go of my shoulder I swear... )"

to give a simple answer; it's not a "proper" plurality if you're worried about categorizing that sort of thing, but they're pretty much eridan and sollux's respective introjects of each other! it's all erisolsprites fault <3

for context, the premise of the au is that eridan has decided to self isolate on earth c, and erisolsprite has managed to end up with him due to sprite bullshit to make sure he doesnt do any Extremely stupid shit-- which blows up in his face when hes the reason eridan (and later sollux) end up getting an extra person in their brains

so then THERE is where we get shardasol and eriware :) their entire gimmick is that they're formed from extra memories of eridan and sollux that erisolsprite put in their opposite heads, and they borrowed bits of their host's personality traits, interests, and perspectives of their other to grow into the people they are. they are their own people at the end of the day! even if they like to say they're like a manifestation of eridan and sollux's heart for the other-- which is. yknow. how i've ended up with four different versions of erisol in this damn au LOL.

i think its some of damiens responsiblity to think what kinda relationship he cultivaded with his fans. and why is centering his need for explaning, defending and further protecting his self/image is his knee jerk reaction. unless you do those things a social media break is just another way of image management. plus it wont feel better when you come back and you are still centering your image which causes you too act defensive/childish. you cant support things thru acts of fear and nervousness and not expact them to crumble! i know people joked abour his virtue signalling in the past, and they are jokes, but its a curious thing people notice that around him enough to point that out. i hope he can actually look into that part of himself with a more honest critical lense.also these twitch stream where he wants this magicaly ''positive'' enviroment where people can ''escape'' is just unrealistic at best. this is a livestream where people rush on each other to talk to you. its by nature feeding into these things im afraidi positivity is not the warm blanket you think it is, its more of a trap lol
