DATES

Gibbs.

Dates were few and far between, with work giving late nighters and paperwork there wasn't much time to have dates. However, Gibbs always made time. A classic date for the two of you would be; either you or him grabbing takeout or him making a steak, both accompanied by a beer.

More often than not you'd spend the night at his. It was nice, even though he was your boss and you were breaking rule 12 but that's something he didn't care about when he was with you. Every now and then hed plant kisses on your neck

It wasn't much but you wish you had more dates like it.

Fornell.

Fornell was a romantic, well, he'd try to be. He'd take you out to a restaurant let you have whatever you want.

You gotta admit it was nice, but you'd rather just relax at home watching TV together and cuddle up in blankets.

But whatever you were doing you enjoyed it because you were in his company and spent all your free time with him

Sloane.

Classic Sloane. Coffee date. She knew when there was a break in the case, normally she'd stand outside MTAC looking down at the bull pen waiting to catch your attention, or she'd come down and linger around until you were done.

DiNozzo.

Fancy Restaurant and a classic film.

The food was nice and you didn't really pay attention to the film. You'd spend the night watching Tony as he explained every detail about the film. Eventually he'd catch you staring and kiss you, then you'd pull him in and that night would turn into a very hot love making session.

McGee.

Gaming and take out. When the case was finally over you and Tim would go home, order whatever take out and play online games together until you lost track of time.

This was great for the two of you. This would help you wind down from a difficult few days.

Torres.

Nick would take you on little restaurant dates. It was nice and very relaxing because the restaurant was small, not many people so it wasn't busy which meant it was quiet.

Then when you got home it was cuddles in bed. Nick may look like a tough guy on the outside but on the inside he's super affectionate and loving, all he wants is cuddles and kisses, all the affection in the world.

Bishop.

Ellie loves food so she will eat anywhere, a small and casual restaurant is what the two of you go for.

Its sweet, you'll hold hands over the table, complement each other and then she'll hold onto your arm as you walk down the streets.

Back home you get settled into your Pyjamas. She wants to watch a horror movie, you dont. So you compromise and watch a horror movie. This is how it goes every time you watch a movie.

Pride.

Dwayne, he loved doing anything for you, you'd have 2 different kind of dates.

1. Wouldn't really be a date. He'd make gumbo for everyone at the office after a hard day then you'd all go out for drinks at the Tru Tone. It was time that was spent together. Normally after the bar had closed you'd be alone cleaning up with Dwayne, you'd glance up at each other and smile and when it was all eventually done he'd come over to you and hold you from behind. Slowly dancing while making his way upstairs to his apartment.

2. If there was no case or it was wrapped up early Dwayne would take you to a small restaurant that he loved and knew the owners. He'd hold your hand, kiss you, give you complements, Dwayne wasn't scared to show how much he loved you. You'd go for a stroll past the water. He'd give you more kisses and more complements. Dwayne treasured you.

LaSalle.

LaSalle was a party man. Any chance of celebration he'd be there.

So when the two of you went on a date it was bar and beers. You two would share a dance to the music and just talk casually together.

It was nice. The two of you together after a long day especially. It wasn't much but you loved chris for it.

Sebastian.

So sebastian is a nerdy agent. You do love him for it. He's comfortable with a film night. Them films actually being conspiracy documentaries.

However it was a good night. Eventually youd fall asleep on him, but he happily wraps his arms around you so you can sleep well.

Sonja.

So sonja is a vegan, it was quite hard for the two of you to eat together but you found a nice vegan restaurant, you tried some of the food. But most of it sonja ate. You compromised with her and you ended up being able to grab a burger on the way home.

Not much of something but to the two of you it was everything.

Gregorio.

Tammy thought dates were slightly overrated. So she suggested the two of you have an 'ice cream date'

It was a fun idea. Watching comedy tv shows and eating icecream until the two of you physically couldn't.

It was fun. It was sickly. It was worth it.

Khoury.

This was your time for you and hannah to dress up, go to a fancy restaurant and just enjoy each others company.

When the date would end, the two of you would end up at her place, PJ's and cuddles on her comfy bed.

The two of you liked to show off but then you also liked to keep it casual.

You chuckled to yourself as you got off the plane in New Orleans, Louisiana. You’d just been told by the pilot over the loudspeaker that there was a blizzard moving into D.C while it was 80 degrees and sunny here in New Orleans.

“I knew there was a reason I took this assignment.” You felt a hand on your shoulder.

“Yeah, because I didn't want to leave you alone with Dinozzo.” You rolled your eyes as Gibbs started toward the baggage claim of the airport.

“Please.” You laughed, running to catch up with him. “I wouldn't give him the time of day. How far is it to Pride’s office?”

The city was beautiful as it went by like a blur outside the car windows. All sorts of colors and music, it made your heart flutter. Sure, there was a beauty to D.C but this...it had nothing on this.

“Enjoying the sights?” Gibbs piped up from the driver's seat. You nodded.

“It just has such a different vibe...I like it.” He took a sharp turn and you grabbed the door handle. “Unlike your driving. That doesn't seem to change no matter where we are.” He came to a stop in a small alley next to the building. Both of you headed inside and Pride smiled from his desk.

“Gibbs, (y/n), welcome to New Orleans.” He stood up and motioned to the rest of the team in the room.

“(Y/n), this here’s Sonja, Tammy, Christopher, and Sebastian.” Chris smirked.

“The pleasures all mine.”

“Nice to meet you.”

“Hiya.”

“Howdy.” You giggled at all their greetings and tried not to blush at Christopher's.

“Thanks, I hope I don't let you down.” Pride chuckled.

“I doubt you will.” He looked at Gibbs over your shoulder. “She'll be fine.” Gibbs chuckled wrapping his arm around you.

“I know that...It's just kinda hard to leave her.” His kissed the top of your head.

“I'll be back in D.C before you know it.” You turned around and wrapped him up in a hug. Only you and Abby were allowed too.

“We’ll take good care of her,” Chris said while leaning on his desk. “You don't have to worry about a thing.” You felt your face flush. You’d barely known the man for fifteen minutes and you were already crushing, and you were crushing hard. Gibbs pulled back and brushed a stray hair out of your face.

“I'm not too sure about that.” He whispered in your ear with a smirk. “Well, I guess I better get back to the airport, Vance wanted me back as soon as possible.” Pride shook hands with him before he waved his goodbyes and was back out the door.

“I hope you like it here, (y/n). New Orleans has a way of pulling people in.” You ran a hand on the back of your neck.

“It certainly does.” New Orleans wasn't the only thing pulling you in. Christopher Lasalle was too, intentionally or not.

Memories of You

Pride gripped the phone tightly in his hand. “Are you sure, it’s hers?” He tried to keep his emotions in check. 

“I’m sorry Dewayne, it’s (Y/N)’s car, and there’s a body inside. It was just pulled from Lake Pontchartrain.” Loretta tried to sound calm and collected. “NOPD, ran the plates. I won’t know if it’s her until I see the body.”

Pride closed his eyes. “We’ll be right there, you let me know as soon as you know...” He couldn’t finish the statement, he didn’t want it to be her. “I’ll see you soon.” He held his phone, looking at the screen. 

Scrolling through the contacts, he found (Y/N)’s name, touching it, he waited as the call connected. It went straight to voicemail. “Sweetheart, I need you to call me back, and let me know you’re safe. I’m coming for you, and so is the rest of the team if you’re in trouble. You can call anyone on the team, and just let us know,”

He ended the call. slipping his phone in his pocket, he started down the stairs. They’d just had dinner last night, and watched the football game. He had enjoyed spending time with her, seeing her laugh.

As he entered the squad room, his eyes cut towards her desk, she wasn’t sitting there. She was always the first one in, the heaviness in his stomach grew. 

He cleared his throat, causing the rest of the team to stop what they were doing and look at him.  “Has anyone heard from (Y/L/N) this morning?” 

“Not since Saturday afternoon.” Sebastian answered. “She and I went out for lunch.”

“What’s going on King? She usually beats us in!” Chris asked.

“Loretta called me, (Y/L/N)’s car was pulled from  Lake Pontchartrain. NOPD mad a positive ID on the car. There was an unidentified female body found inside. I can’t reach (Y/L/N), we are going to find her.”

Percy stepped up. “Tells us what you need us to do!”

“Sebastian, Gregorio, I need you to go to her house. Percy, Chris, and myself will go out to Lake Pontchartrain.” Pride walked over to his desk picking up his phone to call Patton. Maybe he could track her cell phone.

I don’t know how I got here, or even where here was! I looked down at my clothing. Yoga pants, running shoes,  and t-shirt. I stand up and start to wander down the hall of the dark building. 

 “My name is Agent (Y/F/N) (Y/L/N), I work at NCIS. My best friend is Sebastian Lund, I love Dwayne Pride...Chris LaSalle, Sonja Percy, Tammy Gregorio, and Patton Plume are all my co-workers. Loretta Wade is like a mother to me.”

A voice from somewhere echoed off the walls. “Keep trying to repeat it, you’ll never remember it.”

“My name is (Y/F/N)... I work at..... My best friend is Sebastian, I love Dwayne .Chris, Sonja, Tammy, and Patton are all people I know. Loretta Wade is like a mother to me.”

A name of a bar flashed in my head, I needed to write it down before I forgot it. I searched the floor frantically, looking for anything I could write down my memory. Finding a piece of torn back, and a ketchup packet, I wrote the bar name. 

I held on to the paper, careful so the ketchup writing wouldn’t smear. There’s a sharp pain in my head, I fall to my knees, my hands grasp my head.

“I’m...I’m....” I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to focus on faces, that were flashing through my head.

Once the pain subsided, I made my way to the door, pulling it open, I stepped into the sunshine.

Pride saw Loretta kneeling next to the body. he couldn’t read her expression. Looking at (Y/N)’s car, there was no damage that he could see. He glanced at Loretta, and the body.

She was the same body type and hair color as (Y/N), he held his breath as he approached his friend. “What can you tell me Loretta?”

“It isn’t (Y/N), look!” Loretta looked up at Dwayne, showing him the women’s body.

He closed his eyes, breathing a sigh of relief.  He turned towards Lasalle and Percy. “Search the car, see if we can find out who this is, and what her connection is with (Y/N).”  His phone rang, he pulled it from his pocket, hoping it was Sebastian and Gregorio. “Pride!”

“Agent Pride, I hope you find your lost agent before it’s too late. I see you found (Y/N)’s car.”

He looked around. “Who is this? Where is (Y/F/N)?”

There was a laugh. “You have to find her, she has no memory, and  the longer poison is in her body, the sicker she becomes, until she dies.”

Pride was angry and scared that he might loose her. “Tell me where she is and how to help her!”

“Helping her is easy, the antitoxin is at your headquarters waiting, finding your Agent (Y/L/N) is the challenge. She’s wandering the city, you have twenty-four hours.”

The call was ended, Pride held his phone in his hand, staring across the lake. He had twenty-four hours to save his agent. He dialed Gregorio's number. “Tell me you have something!” 

He had to get a B.O.L.O. for (Y/N), and have medics on stand by.

My mind was blank, I closed my eyes trying to bring up some memories. I saw faces of people but I couldn’t put names to them. I couldn’t even remember my name.

I stared at the paper in my hand, with a name of a bar written on it,  I frowned as I started to wander the streets of the city.

               Gregorio’shands were warm on your face, her smile soft as she ducked in, and kissed you.Date night was your favorite night of the week, even if it changed every week,because it was a night to got to spend with Gregorio, without having to thinkabout anyone else. You smiled into the kiss, hand on her side. It really didn’tmatter that you were standing in the lobby of her building, it was late enoughthat no one else was out.

               But notlate enough for people to stop calling, when her phone went off, and yousighed, pulling back.

“That’s yours.” She groaned, glancing at the screen, andsighed, swiping to answer

“’ey, Gregorio.”

“What the hell d’ya want, LaSalle?”

“…did I interrupt somethin’?” he asked, hooking an armaround your shoulders as you two started outside, towards the bar she’dpromised she was going to take you to.

“Date night, LaSalle, what do youwant?” she asked, huffing, as yousnickered, and leaned into her, arm around her waist.

“Just callin’ t’check that youweren’t up for comin’ out to the Haunted House t’night.” Gregorio sighed,shaking her head.

“Date. Night. I’m hangin’ up onyou, LaSalle,” she told him, snickering as he objected, even as she hung up andpocketed the phone.

“Everything okay?”

“Yeah, just a dork I work with,”Gregorio commented, pausing to kiss your cheek.

               Thedeep, sudden growl from the alley made you both scream, startled, especiallywhen something pale darted out at you both.

               Untilyou realized it was literally someone dressed as a ghost.

               And thegrowl was swallowed in a wild laugh, as Gregorio shrieked and tried to barrelbehind you, until the sheet came off, revealing a man, laughing hysterically.

“…LASALLE?!” she screamed.

“That was fantastic! Tell me ya got it, Perc!” he hollered,turning as a woman came out from around the corner, cackling, too, waving herphone.

“Every second!”

“I’ll kill you!” Gregorio shouted, charging after both ofthem, as he shrieked and bolted.

               Ordinarily,you’d feel bad and try to follow, but you were having enough trouble staying onyour feet, you were laughing so hard.

               Youhadn’t met her coworkers and friends, yet, but you knew you were gonna like them,already.

Nomination Clarifications #2

We're now at about 340 fandoms and 1978 ships nominated. And we've currently got another 41 fandoms to look at. We have a countdown here for how long until nominations close. Update on the glitch that was happening - it was mainly happening to Marvel 616 nominations, with a couple of Stargate ships also rejected. Thankfully, AO3 support was able to change the rejected nominations back to not rejected for us, so people should be seeing Marvel 616 nominations going through okay now. We have a few fandoms we want input on since we're not familiar with them and what level of shared characters and canon there is.
