Obsessed with how Annabeth isn't spacial, she isn't a chosen one, she has no demigod magic powers, she is for all intents and purposes, a fairly normal girl.

But she poured her blood, sweat and tears into becoming the best warrior she could be. She trained hard for years because she knew she had disadvantages and she didn't want to be seen as weak.

She's literally known in Camp and by monsters like Alecto as the most powerful demigod alive and she doesn't have powers. It's almost as of girls don't need to be magical to be a hero!

"percy manipulated bob" "percy manipulated charon" i think the thing we all need to focus on more is the fact that he accidentally manipulated the whole of the pjo fandom into seeing him as dumb and stupid when he was just insecure as hell

probably one of my absolute FAVORITE percabeth scenes that is absolutely not talked about enough is in botl when percy goes to visit her in the athena cabin and she starts crying because she’s scared and weighed down by the weight of this quest. she holds out her arms without saying anything and he immediately hugs her.

what makes this scene so ultimately meaningful and sweet to me is that this is BEFORE they are together. when they are just best friends. obviously their male/female friendship ended up being something more but it’s so sweet to me how close they were without it being romantic or weird.

percy and annabeth were like those two friends you had in high school that were male/female but just knew each other better than anyone else and worked great in a team and always stuck together at events or capture the flag.

and i love to imagine everyone at camp just looking at percy and annabeth and understanding how close they are and seeing how their relationship develops.

Camper like Silena or Clarisse or Beckendorf: “yup, that’s percy and annabeth, they’re best friends, they’re pretty much inseparable”

New camper: “are they dating?”

Camper: “uhhh. not yet.”

Friendly reminder that Nico Di Angelo as a child, loved pirates and Greek mythology.

Imagine a 10 year old Nico getting excited that the Greek gods exist, then finding out that he gets to learn how to sword fight just like pirates do. (He was so excited he ended up cutting his leg resulting in a scar)

And now imagine all that excitement disappear when he learns that he can never show his big sister what he learnt.
