The shit tessa puts up with chapter II

The prestigious Woodside Institute founded in 1912 by our founder the prestigious Michael Woodside. Mr. Woodside had a dream, where young men could be shaped into future leaders, politicians engineers and scientists. It wasn't till 1960 that women could join but our goal stayed the same to shape future leaders, politicians, engineers, pro players, chiefs, scientists and so on. Here we hold both college and high school classes to help fast track them into the real world. Students are given many freedoms, such as having private studios, for art, software design, engineering, and so. Classes are held all day and in lecture halls, the classes are large but students find that laid back nature of how the teachers are and not feeling pressure or stress they excal. Students can pick and choose to go to classes and all assignments and tests are emailed, mental health days are allowed.

Connor found the informant to be interesting and yet not so at the same time. He could see the appeal as to why hank gave this place a glowing remarks and why tessa liked going here, but to him it was nothing special. Connor examining the building it was definitely an old building but had been updated to fit the more morden times. Hank had asked Connor to take the car and pick up tessa something about a family dinner, Hank was back at the station finishing the days paperwork and logging the evidence from there latest homicide case.

Connor headed into the front lobby  and was meet with a AP400 model named stacey at the front desk, it seemed she was the school secretary.

“Hello and welcome to the Woodside Institute how may I help you?” She greets in and warm and welcoming tone.

“Yes, good afternoon stacey. My name is Connor and I'm here to pick up Tessa Anderson.” Connor tells her. Lacey gave him a warm smile.

“Aww yes. Lieutenant Anderson called to let us know that you were coming. Miss. Anderson is in her studio. Studio 578 you leave this building and go to the larger brick building out back, it has a sign saying studio out front.” As she printed Connor a tag that said ‘visitor' on it.

“Thank you stacey.” Connor says leaving putting the tag on.

“Have a nice day connor.”

Connor found the building easy enough, and quickly located tessa studio. The building seemed to share a very simple layout. The hall had marble floors with a high ceiling and on either side were sliding doors, each door was numbered, with a keypad and a name on the side.

As he went down the hall on the fifth floor he stopped. Hovering in the air was a sleek looking drone, the drone was using its laser to write something into the empty space on the wall.

‘ Fuck you Jason!’ it wrote, Connor wasn't sure who Jason was or why the drone was writing this but he soon got his answer.

“ADAM YOU DICK!” Someone yells, that someone was around eighteen the same age as tessa.  The person had slicked back black hair with dark green eyes, the opposite of tessa light green eyes. He was wearing a white lab coat and looked ready to kill. The door to Connor left opened and out stepped who connor assumed was Adam.

Adam had dirty blonde hair done in a sloppy man bun with hazel eyes with a hint of mischief in them. His shirt had spots of clay on it, in his hand was tablet.

“Fuck off Jason you can't prove shit.” Adam lazy states as he leaned against the door frame.

Jason let out a snort and his eye twitched, “Stop hacking my drones!” Adam puckered his lips and then spoke.

“No.” Jason eye twitched again, now if either of the three men took note they would have seen the door to tessa studio door open wearing one of hanks old nirvana shirts with spots of paint.

Connor watched as she threw something at Jason. It was a water balloon, the balloon landed on Jason head with a wet splat and exploded on impact covering Jason head in dark blue paint. Adam started to laugh so hard he was crying.  Tessa let out a hum and strolled over to adam,

“Oh adam.” She coos.

“Yea what's up tess?” He asks wiping away tears, as Tessa gave him a mischievous smile as she slapped both sides of his face with a wet spalt, there  was look of horror and disgust on adam face, as she covered his whole face and neck in dark blue paint.

“There much better.” As she drew a smiley face on his check.  “Now stop stealing Jason fucking drone and let me work in peace.” She hisses digging her nails into his face.

“You got it, hey there's a plastic here to see you.” Adam tells her pointing behind tessa, as she let go of his. Tessa face light up.

“Hey connor.” Tessa smiles pulling a stained cloth from the back pocket of her jeans, and she began cleaning her hands.

“Good afternoon tessa, what was that about?” Connor asks watching adam and jason leave. Jason now with his drone and Adam not looking happy.

“Oh? That yea don’t worry about that, come on in.” Tessa smiles heading in her studio, Connor followed tessa into the studio was hit with the overwhelming smell of paint, charcoal, and lead. The room was large and square shaped, the floor had large trap covering it, while the walls were painted in murals from the previous students. The ceiling was high with both a fan and a vent, and in the back was an open window.

To Connor, right was long tan colored couch by the couch was a coat rack on it was tessa shoulder bag, jacket and hat, at the far end was a sleek black mini refrigerator. The rest of the room had shelves upon shelves of art supplies from paint cans, to paint bottles, brushes and ect there was even an industrial sink. There was one sole counter top that had a once white sheet that hosted a cornucopia models on it. Blank canvas dotted the room some by the couch, some under the window and ect.

“You like my vent piece?” Tessa asks washing her hands. That got to connor to look closer at the canvas that was dead center in the room, there had to be over dozen shapes on it. From circles, to squares, to hourglasses, triangles, polygons, hexagons, pentagons, trapezoids, octagons and a few hearts.

“I thought you hated math?” He asks, tessa let out a groan, as she went over to the min refrigerator and   pulled a smoothie and flopping down on the couch.

“I do but, sometimes I need to vent so I finger pain shapes.” Tessa explains with a shrug, “You want to draw?” As she took a sip from the smoothie. The question took Connor off guard.

“You wouldn’t mind?” Connor asks staring at the cans, and then at the canvas, he had been feeling off. In the months following marcus peaceful revolution,Connor felt out of place, he was happy with Hank, tessa his job but yet there was this small nagging feeling in the back of his head, maybe he had virus. He would be lying if he didn’t think that the offer wasn’t very tempting.

“I know working with the DPD and Gavin can be very stressful, going after all these people who have done such awful things, the revolution, going against cyber ife, it's stressful. Go ahead and vent if you need, we understand. This is just how I unwind. We all need ways to vent and express ourselves.” Tessa explains. Connor wanted to take tessa up on her offer but in the end didn't.

“Maybe next time tessa we should go your uncle is waiting for us.”

“Alright let's head out.” Tessa smirks grabbing her bag and started to leave

Tomb of Annihilation, Part 13: Gears of Hate

The party lands in a pentagonal room, the floor is covered in vines, moss, and refuse. A sprinkler juts out of the floor in the center of the room. They march west into another similar room. There’s carvings of black dragons on the walls, but not much else seems to be going on. Beyond this room is a a control room. Inside stands a skeleton key, which the party makes quick work of and tosses its skull in their bag with the rest.

The control panel has several levers and dials, and there’s a diagram on the wall displaying different positions that they can rotate the rooms into. Now that they have some perspective on the layout of this floor, they can see that the pentagonal rooms are sitting on large gears in the middle of an underground lake. Edward instructs the party to go back to the center room while he rotates the rooms into position. He then flies over to the center room, where the party has come under attack: the plant life sprang to life and attempted to devour the party, while green gas pours in from a previously hidden room. The party clears the room and retreats to the next room. Alphonse, Edward’s mechanical companion, goes back in and digs around the hidden room. Inside he finds the body of the final member of the Company of the Yellow Banner, and collects the valuables.

The new room that they find themselves in has five wardrobes in it. Each wardrobe has a different scene carved into the door. The hallway leaving this room is blocked by a portcullis. The party opens each in turn, and they all seem to be portals to different planes. After felling the various enemies that emerge from each wardrobe, the portcullis raises, and the party moves on.

The next hallway is filled with junk. Rotting corpses, rusted armor and weapons, torn clothing. Edward tosses a handaxe down the hall. The wooden haft shriveled and the head rusted as it clattered across the floor. Across the hall is an archway. The keystone is a bone carving of a bull’s head, with an ivory ring in the nose.

“I got this,” Edward says, and strips naked. He walks across the hall and climbs the archway, dangling from the nose ring. He gives it a good yank, and the ring pops free. The objects on the floor begin to repair themselves, returning to normal. There’s a staircase going down, but the party decides to investigate the next room.

This cylindrical chamber is extends 200 feet above and below. A massive chain cranks on a gear in the center of the room and disappears into a portal in the ceiling. Edward recognizes it as a Mechanus Chain. It can probably power this whole tomb easily. Spence transmutes a bridge across the room to the opposite side. As they cross the bridge, modrons pour out from the portal above and fire on the party with bows. A pentadrone inside a crystal dodecahedron leads the charge, opening the crystal to pour paralyzing gas on the party. Planius runs up the wall and leaps into the air to punch the crystal housing, and the pentadrone plummets to its death.

An armillary sphere fills the next room. When the party approaches, the planet in the center opens up, revealing a chair with levers on each arm. Edward hops in without hesitating and aligns the planets and sun in a line. Edward is gifted the ability to cast Wish one time. He decides he’ll use the Wish to resurrect Emliy once the death curse is lifted.

A nycaloth bursts forth from the sun sphere and attacks the party, forcing them out onto the bridge into the next room. Despite their precarious situation, the party prevails. They’ve had just about enough of this floor and decide to go down the stairs. 

Seward splits off from the party to go search for the Eye of Zaltec. He has a couple of close calls with an elephant-shaped death roller before claiming a red gemstone. He’s very close to death at this point, and decides that whether this stone is the Eye or not, he needs to get back to the group. He uses Withers’s amulet to teleport, and he shrinks. Undeterred, he slowly makes his way down the stairs after the rest of the party.

Here is another spread that is focused on Eden Project, the layout of the body and imagery complement each other due to the image going across, however the image is taken from Michaels book where the soap bubble are inspired by Eden’s green house structure. For my own imagery I would like to to combine the structure of where the hexagon and pentagon are then divide it with a sketch landscape with plants inside. I know that this will test my skill on achieving this style.

However, I have come to the realisation that I will Never Be Over the Run era, and I will never be over Tae’s fringe that he dyed with Yoongi’s left over green dye(i’m pretty sure this is only a joke don’t quote me lol) so it became a minty chocolate fringe, ergo a mint choc fringe, and I found this the most beautiful and hilarious thing ever, and thus mintchocfringe was born

A Sunny Apartment Design That Morning People Will Love

Daybreak and sunbeams were the muse for this warm apartment design, entitled ‘Miracle Morning’ by Svoya Studio. The team focussed on the idea of morning being the most special period of the day, and ensured that the sun appeared in many elements of the apartment. Even in the small entrance hall–though it is isolated from natural light–has a mirror ball to shine ‘sunbeams’ around. The warm hues of dawn colour the apartment, inspired by the sunrise that can be observed in its glory through the large windows in the flat; concrete floors span out toward the grey cityscape. A bespoke bed in the master room is positioned to face out to morning’s first light.

A modern sofa has been positioned across the open plan living room in order to divide the lounge from a kitchen diner. The sofa is upholstered in a sunrise orange fabric; white scatter cushions coordinate with the white kitchen cabinets and dining set behind.

A row of tall storage units travel a length of wall between the living room dining room combo. The remainder of wall space is occupied by windows that bring in copious amounts of natural light, which spills over furniture and floor.

The polished concrete floor nods to the concrete jungle beyond the glass.

Indoor plants breathe life into the city flat. One large specimen softens the look of a raw concrete column; its rattan planter adds extra warmth and texture to the scheme. A single sprig of greenery extends from the dining room table centrepiece.

Wood effect cabinets have been banked to one side of the white kitchen to warm the look through. Interior doors & surrounds in the hallway are finished in matching material, which creates nicely spaced ‘stripes’ down the length of the hall.

A deep blue console unit sits below a wall mounted tv, inspired by blue skies.

Above the dining table, a skinny pendant light descends almost unseen. Its slender profile allows the window view to remain unobstructed.

Blush coloured curtains pool at one side of the glass, waiting to be drawn come nightfall, or to filter direct glaring light during the sunset.

The decorative vase used as a table centrepiece complements the soft tone of the drapes.

Concentrated light pools in the middle of the round dining table from the tubular modern pendant above.

The pentagonal shaped room creates interesting angles in the layout. A white and wood kitchen occupies the two final walls of the room.

A linear light spans the length of a white island, where three grey kitchen bar stools stand poised for breakfast.

Whilst the doors on one side of the hallway (leading to two kids’ rooms and two closets) are all wood panelled, the interior doors on the opposite side (to the master bed and family bathroom) are pure white to keep the look streamlined.

Elliptical mirrors help to create a sense of light and space in the windowless hallway.

In the master bedroom, a bespoke headboard wall divides the sleep space from the dressing area, with white sconces and bedside tables attached to either side. The bed is oriented toward the windows so that the homeowners can watch the dawn.

Locker style doors are set into a custom bed design that resemble a firetruck, with a silver ladder rail providing safety across the top bunk. Corrugated iron spans the ceiling like a shutter door. A red curtain dresses tall windows by the desk.

The master bedroom features a small ensuite shower room, where a golden vanity mirror shines like the sun.

This home plan better shows the challenging footprint of the flat. Here we can see the hexagonal living room that houses the lounge, kitchen and dining room areas. The plan also reveals the trapezium shape of the family bathroom.
