sobbing crying no one thought jinho would make it to the finale of phantom singer as an idol and yet his group there praises him beyond measure, says that they didn’t have a musical professional before he joined them, he’s out there singing his fucking face off with classically trained vocalists and he’s making fucking history and it’s just so crazy because if you ask the average kpop stan they won’t even know jo jinho exists. meanwhile he’s the boundary breaking, versatile, insanely skilled main vocalist of pentagon and cube couldn’t even remember their name if you held them at gunpoint but has that ever stopped him from doing the thing he’s so insanely good, really, just the best at? no. because he loves nothing more than to sing. i’m just so fucking proud of him, man, like against all odds he persevered, they wanted to disband his group the second he got discharged and even then, it did not happen and instead he finally got to be a part of one of their music show wins and he sits in the studio to direct their vocal takes and he takes vocal lessons to this day and he’s just so fucking good that it’s blowing my mind. he’d deserve to win phantom singer but it doesn’t even matter because he’s already made history. an idol that never thought he’d debut at one point because he was just fine being a vocal coach. hyunggu calls him an angel dolphin because of his voice. god i’m crying

This is soo random I'm sorry but I need someone to like, make a YT vid or something, in which they include iconic parts from Pentagon's songs that make me go absolutely feral.

Like Hui's high notes in Basquiat, Wooseok and Dawn's verse in Critical Beauty, Wooseoks rap in Sha La La, Jinho singing Yutooooo da, and being iconic on phansing and in Crezl, Yanan in Daisy and the iconic My baby ~, a snippet of Kino's Pose, Shinwon in Round 2 and WTH, Hongseok in Daisy, Yeoone in Hope, Yuto's guitar covers and his songs like You don't have to work hard.

1. Between 7 and 5, who did you bias first?

yuri, although she wasn't my first bias in snsd! i biased her during igab era so 2013, and obviously i only biased hyungwon later (actually in 2016 after i saw him in k.will's mv!)

2. Between 2 and 6, who are you more attached to?

hyuna... my female ult 🥹 i also love cheng xiao dearly, but because i don't really watch dramas or follow cpop idols that closely, it's harder to keep up with her. and hyuna is definitely one of my all time favorite idols ever, i feel very strongly about her

3. If you were to spend the day with either 3 or 1, who would you choose and what would you do?

oof this is tough because both of them are people i would love to spend a day with and i would enjoy talking to them both... but i would have to choose jinho because he's my #1 ult haha. if i can go anywhere in the world and don't have to limit myself for anything, i would go with him to the harry potter studio in london, then go watch a musical with him (probably wicked lol) and if we still have the energy maybe go to a bar or a cafe and just sit and talk hehe

4. What is your favorite physical feature about 9?

her eyes 🥹🥹🥹 idk what it is about them but she has such beautiful eyes imo!! i mean she's gorgeous in general, one of the most beautiful girls ever, but her eyes specifically are so pretty

5. What is your favorite part of 6's personality?

she's soooooo sweet and gentle and cute and loving but also she can give a "idgaf" attitude when needed. but mostly she is just very very sweet

6. If you were to tell 8 anything you wanted, what you would you tell them?

i'm so proud of him, he's so talented in everything he does, he's cute and funny and precious!! moving to korea at a young age and still being active there 8 years into his career with no intention of going back is... wow

7. Between 1 and 2, whose closet would you raid?

i mean obviously cheng xiao because 1. we're the same gender and 2. she has so many pretty designer clothes...... but then she's probably like half my size lol. but idk, jinho doesn't really strike me as a fashion icon lol if it was kino i might have considered it lol

8. What is a style that you want to see 3 try?

musically? basically anything lol but i'm always up for some rock-ish vibes

9. Between 5 and 4, who are you closer to in height?

they're both taller than me (i'm 157) but hyuna is closer (she's 164 and yuri is 167)

10. Between 10 and 9, whose music do you like the best?

ooooh that's a difficult one. i love hyolyn so much, her voice is probably one of my faves for female idols, and she has some songs i'm genuinely obsessed with (dally and layin' low especially) and of course sistar's music was one of my fave discographies... but as a solo artist i think i vibe more with chungha's title tracks 🤔 but then i also didn't listen to all her bsides so idk...

face - nu'est. i have actually not listened to the rest of their songs despite liking face so much bc i don't believe it's even possible for them to make a better song than that

2. create a new co-ed group with existing idols

okay this is hard..i think a co-ed group of idols that are already friends and decide to do a project together would be fun but since i have no idea who are friends within the industry i'm going to say jinho, onew, and yunjin. i'm forming an opera singing kpop group and i'm still taking suggestions for members

1st gen basement baby was noh jihoon, 2nd shin jihoon, 3rd na inwoo, 4th seonho

noh jihoon together with btob in that moldy dorm and after iconic debut in 2012 he had just one comeback years later... by the time he left ptg already debuted. shin jihoon was on kpop star and her covers did numbers on youtube, cube signed her promising she'll be able to do figureskating as well as promote, she had her debut song written by hyuńa's current man, then they kinda started putting less and less effort into her acitivities. shame because she's super talented. her recent indie releases are all very good if you ask me. na inwoo even changed his name in order to reverse his fortune and it worked... he was so jobless he learnt how to do his nails. seonho was a forever trainee, part of at least 2 different nbg lineups, until cube decided he's too old for idoling and he's now acting. he was born in 2002... by 2022 it was obvious he's not gonna debut :( jinho vocal coached him for nothing ???

lightsum juhyeon is the golden star basement baby........ since she was casted as a CHILD cube changed ceos at least 4 times
