I've been quiet for a bit, but here's my contribution for 10/10 day! Only... a few days late.

Even more random facts that couldn't make it into the profile page(s):

Viola is single and prefers it that way.

Given her newfound "weaknesses" concerning noise and light, a couple of modifications had been made to her suit, so to include noise-filtering pads and photochromic lenses.

Viola's fear response if not "flight" nor "fight", it's a third thing called "fright".

Due to her overall quiet demeanour, it would take Viola quite a lot of pressure to hear her break into any sort of Italian swearing.

Despite her anxiety, the job Viola tried to keep was in a customer support call center. She worked there until the company moved onto a more exploitable profitable location.

Viola's been on a wild goose chase job hunting since then. However, while "officially unemployed", she actually has a few side gigs to make ends meet.

It was Giovanni's idea to have "La Donna Ragno" make some public appearances, so that Viola could have a more decent source of income while forever-waiting for a steady job that may never come. It also took quite a lot of convincing.

Although it may hurt her Italian soul from within, Viola tries her best to ignore how some people would "ruin" some dishes. "Well... You're the one eating that abomination, not me" she would say.

Her actual pet-peeve would be people making a completely different dish and calling it what it is clearly not. She is still trying to recover from witnessing to a "traditional carbonara sauce" being made with fresh cream, green peas and bacon.

Viola wouldn't call Miles "the original anomaly". She would define him as either "a living paradox" or more simply "a victim of circumstance". The only "actual anomaly" in her book would be the Spot himself, given that himself and Dr. Octavius have been the ones to open the portal that got the itsy bitsy spider from Earth 42 all the way to Earth 1610 in the first place. She would also keep the thought to herself, given the very short fuse of some "ninja-vampire spider-man".

Even on Earth 80039 there is an experimental collider, but somehow it got spared by the Spot out of sheer coincidence. The guy kept jumping dimensions looking specifically for "AlcheMax", while a similar institute is actually named "GEN-EVO" in Viola's universe.

"GEN-EVO" is a recall to the real-life city of Geneva in Switzerland, where the CERN institute is located, along with some collider.

For real, tho; it all started with a "let's give this ATVS movie a shot, since everyone's been praising it that much". Then I was roaming several tag sections to hoard fan arts like a gremlin, and also seeing people coming up with their own Spidersona/OCs. Next thing I knew, my brain poked me and whispered "you know what would be a fun past time? :)" and immediately sucked me into the "make-an-oc" spiraling hellpit.

And of course, being totally unable to draw a single thing myself, I bribed commissioned @d-structive to draw the new bean. Yes, all three drawings up there have been made by her, following the references I pulled using dress up games like X-Girl and Chibi Maker 1.1 as "guidelines".

The Satchel

During his days in the deplorable Demon Realm, Philip Wittebane had never ONCE come across anything or anyone he would consider "cute".

Just not possible.

Until today.

The bearded man was walking through the forest, his satchel by his side as he happily wrote about the "accidental" death of his most recent companion.

Their demise was truly "heartbreaking".

He might be smiling as he's writing about them, but trust me, he was "crying" on the inside.

While walking, he hears a small, high-pitched voice scream "STOP!" to which he does mid-step, placing his right foot that he had lifted up down.

The sudden screech startled him greatly.

Looking around to see where the voice came from, Philip looks down to see you.

Yes, you! 🫵

You were a tiny being. About the size of a pea. Chibi-sized even.

A sigh of relief came when you saw that the giant man hadn't stepped on you.

That would have NOT been good.

Seeing you, Philip couldn't believe his blue eyes.

You were the cutest, tiniest wittle thing he's ever seen in this hellish place.

Lowering down to your level, he starts to speak, his face beaming with glee.

"My, my, aren't you just adorable?" He coos, hearts floating around him.

You give the guy a small glare. You didn't like him.

You were lucky Philip found you to be so interesting.

If he didn't, he'd take great pleasure in crushing you with his foot and scraping your remains off his shoe.

"You'll make for a marvelous specimen to study." He reaches out a hand to grab you, in which you gasp.

You then let out a growl.

No way were you letting this, admittingly attractive, stranger take you away with him.

That's kidnapping, which was an unlawful act. >:(

You had to do something.

Lifting up a finger, you send a mini blast of energy his way. When he's hit, he begins to... laugh? You're shocked by this. How is your magic not harming him? His laughter only makes you more mad as you grit your teeth. You try zapping him again and again and again, but he only continues to laugh.

"That tickles!" He chuckles as he grabs you. You try your best to get out of his grasp. He then uses a finger to lightly tap your head.

"Adorable and hilarious." You were definitely going into his satchel, no doubt about that. He needed a good laugh and you had given him just that.

As you're about to bite his finger CLEAR OFF his hand, he gently places you into his satchel and continues his walk.

As you silently sat in the brown bag, you slowly began to realize something. You actually liked being inside it. The gentle rocking with every step the man took, the items such as a dagger and a strange disc clinking around with each motion.

It was all so... soothing.

You huffed, crossing your arms.

Oh, fine.

You would accept this mistreatment.

For now.

hi hello, i am coin/slade and i use she/her he/him pronouns

This is a clan gen blog, however instead of cats, im using my own dragon species! This blog was also inspired by Anchorarge Refuge! (Which is another clan gen comic but set in the wof universe)

this image contains somewhat simplified chibi versions of my dragons, they will look a little different once i start posting the moons

Now some small bits of information and self imposed rules

-i can't turn down any new comers

-no tribrids (not because they're impossible but because i don't feel like designing one)

-if a cat joins as an adult i interpret their age in years instead of months (so i don't have a buncb of 5yr olds dying)

-dragons must follow a specific naming scheme depending on their species

-in between moons I'll post some info regarding the world and it's dragons, ranging anywhere from natural environment to coloration to lore, i will also be rebloging other clangen blogs tagged with #slumbering recommendations

-dragons under two years must be accompanied while on patrol
