But something i noticed and wanted to ask/point out is

In gideon's breathing style, i see you adding a few peacock details and i wanted to ask if that has to do with his demon form? Like you see where im getting at?

Or why do you add those peacock details? Just curious, and wanted to hear your opinion/answer

Heeyy!! Omg thank you so much, I've been drawing a lot lately and feeling really good about my progress!! Thank you also for the ask about Gideon's peacock visuals in his breathing style. 🦚✨🔨

The peacock visuals are indeed a nod to what he turns into when he's demonized, which is a peacock and seraph- type blend. However, there are a lot of symbolic sentiments behind why I chose to include peacock feathers/visuals in his demon slayer breathing style, Judgement Breathing.

Peacocks symbolize a lot of different things, but a few of them are pride, divinity, immortality, and rebirth. Many of these symbols resonate with Gideon and/or his breathing style. I've used Lotus symbolism with him before as a nod to rebirth, because he essentially had to make himself new/parent himself after being abandoned (out of the mud, a flower). There's also the more dramatic take that he's resurected as a demon or turned into one in certain universes.

The symbolism of divinity in the peacock lends itself well to judgement Breathing. In certain (I believe biblical) texts the eyes on the feathers can be seen as eyes of God, which is sort of what I was leaning towards in his demon form with the seraph wings and all. Gideon becomes a hybrid demon because of how he is turned by Genya, so his demon form can play with themes of judgement upon the wicked or just the fact that angels are supposed to be *terrifying.*

I believe that Pride and Immortality are much broader symbols for the peacock motif. In demon slayer, Ubuyashiki states that immortality is the human will. Pride am can be seen in a negative context like in vanity, however Gideon is also openly gay so id like to use pride in that sense! Theres also the fact that peacocks are male (peahens are the female equivalent), and their vibrant coloration and stunning feathers are unique to their gender in the species. Gideon is meant to stand out, and does in his own ways.

Judgement Breathing is a blended style with only a few moves being unique to it, and the others being borrowed and adapted from Stone and Thunder breathing styles.

Certain breathing style forms in demon slayer have symbolic animals in the visuals, namely japanese-style dragons. Similarly, one of Gideon's forms includes peacock visuals and that is his esoteric art: Eyes of Honor.

Sixth Form: Esoteric Art: Eyes of Honor (Judgement Breath, invented by Gideon) - A succession of lightning surrounds the user as breath is gathered, causing blinding light and the visual of Peacock feather ‘eyes’ to appear in the opponent's vision. There is the potential to offset the opponent with this move and temporarily blind them long enough to pull off a close range strike.

This is very similar to his blood demon art in universes where he turns into a demon. The peacock feather eyes, or the literal seraph eyes on his demon form, serve to stun or temporarily blind an opponent. The name of this form is a nod towards a quote from Buddhism (Gojo also says it in jujutsu kaisen), which is "in all of heaven and earth, I alone am honored."

obviously not the exact same, but kinda like it, and i didn't know how else to describe what i was talking about

I've never truly pondered on this, but given the first demons were made of angels, it's quite possible that such a trait (feathers) could remain, although I would consider it very rare.

One of the Icons has a very serpentine look, so I'm totally not averse to someone having like a peacock tail, go nuts. :v

General: Zihan is a vain and attention-seeking peacock demon who is also the main singer of a rock band called "Four Horsemen." He's loud, cocky, and has an ego the size of Jupiter. His fashion sense is as loud as his voice, which can break windows and rupture eardrums. By the end of your encounter with this flamboyant popstar, you will never forget him. He loves getting attention and being noticed by thousands of people. However, he hates if no one notices him. He can get attention-starved to an unhealthy degree. After all, how is he supposed to express his ego without anyone to show it? Zihan's rival is (obviously) Shaeh. Both demons have a huge ego and will clash with each other to prove who's better at.... well, anything. Except singing. Zihan will always be better at that than Shaeh. Always.

A few facts: -His sonic scream is around 130-150 decibels. -He loves dressing in drag every now and then. -He has 146k followers on Joobalee (this universe's equivalent to MySpace/Instagram) -His room is soundproofed to prevent damage to the band bus.

This dude's voice claim is gonna be Will Ryan and nothing will convince me otherwise.

Lucifer nods as he was looking at papers on his desk which had to do with the student council. "No. I understand why you are doing it. I would do the same with my brother's." He watches Matt. They had spent a good amount of time together. Same with Matt spending time with his other brothers.

Well, Lucifer was indeed that one went to go look for Aster as he was concerned for the human. Everyone else was busy and getting ready to go. He had a few extra mins to himself before he would leave. "Aster??? Are you feeling alright???"

He is fifteen minutes late to breakfast... he knows that but can't really pay attention to it for very long before a rushing sting of pain pulls him solidly back into the here and now. Persistent, loud... like a bratty child that refused to be ignored; such was the damage to his nerves in that moment.

Aster is quiet as he lies in bed, a hand to his face while trying to ignore the feeling as much as he can. An attempt, valiant in its effort, to get up was made earlier. Violent nausea made that a pipe dream and forced the human back down.

"... I'm gonna get an earful for this."

It's only a matter of time before one of the brothers is sent to fetch him. Or, much more rare, Lucifer would come looking himself.

Fuck, the day just started and it was already a mess.

"Feliz cumpleaños, mi amor." He spoke softly with a smile.

Lucifer smiles and kisses Kaiden on the lips and holds him close. "Hello my darling. How are you doing."

Finley: "You know, Laios's very lucky to have you, orange head." She said as she drinks a bottle of wine. "He hasn't had anyone this intimate in his life. Hell, no one wants to be near him. To quote from people, "He's thickheaded, careless, and awkward. Emphasize on awkward. I know two bitches who really hates him, but I'm making sure he's safe." She turns to walk away. "Protect him, got it?"
