I'm not only in shock. I'm horrified. How does killing two minority police officers change the injustice we have witnessed in the past few months. This lashing out violently and senselessly at an institution places everyone on heightened vigilance and makes an already precarious situation just that more flammable. Not to mention these men were clearly Asian and Latino respectively. More people will lose their lives senselessly, more instances of injustice will take place and the power, protest, and movement forward will be hindered if this behavior continues. I speak to those who are of this vigilante mindset: THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO ACCOMPLISH JUSTICE!
