I LOVE to have fun with gender through Achilles bcs so many people prefer to see him as this traditional masc stereotypical hero (Brad Pitt in Troy, Thor knockoff in Hades Game), and the Skyros arc is right there 👈 What an amazing set up in the text to explore, with little stretch of canon, Achilles being a transman or Pyrrha being a transwoman 😚 We are so blessed with such fertile ground to explore gender.

I, however, do not explore gender with Patroclus.

There is this tendency for people, typically antis, to have a heternormative and sexist take of TSoA’s Pat because he GASP has feelings. way to reveal you’ve been brainwashed by toxic masculinity, nice job

Anyways, the situation is a bit of hornet’s nest to me. In addition to this shockingly incorrect take on TSoA Patroclus, there’s also this deeply concerning obsession with giving Patorlcus a vagina. Nothing wrong with twinks. Nothing wrong with femmes. Nothing wrong with queens. Nothing wrong with transmen.

BUT

When you put the two together, the femme reading and the vagina, well… I don’t have the language to express how it leaves me with a bad taste my mouth.

I do believe people should be exploring Patroclus’ gender, but I can’t be one of them. I’m sorry. I know everyone seems to be having fun with yuri patrochilles, but it’s not for me.

Haikyuu!!: My absolute top, Sakuatsu, which is why I started writing fic! I also love Kuroken (!!!), Daisuga, Oisuga, Bokuaka, Kagehina, Asanoya, Tsukkiyama… MAN, Haiykuu!! has a lot of ships that I love. I love all of them, but the ones mentioned are my top.

From Tokyo Revengers, I love Chifuyu ships (because I love Chifuyu). Soo Bajifuyu, Kazufuyu, Ryufuyu… I love each of them in a different way, but equally much (although in my fics Rufuyu is always in the foreground)

From My Hero Academia, my top is Tododeku! Because of this ship, I started reading fics addictively. I love Deku ships in general, I also have a weakness for Shindeku. Kamijirou, EraserMic, Dabihawks are also great.
