I know that most users do not understand a fraction of AO3's functionality and no amount of me yelling at them to git gud is going to change that, but I do wish more people would just mute people whose work they don't like now that we can do that without doing labyrnthine things involving filters and Boolean operators.

Inaccurate to the way I played 621. As well as to how I interpret Ayres character. In nearly every way.

This ask has, however, given me a bizarre amount of motivation to write my own version below the cut. Here it is.

The Rubiconian I have acquired as a headmate recently caught me looking at the Dafeng mascot, as I was doing some supplemental research into Dafengs AC parts before our next job. Apparently, she is also a lesbian and was quite flustered by how voluptuous the mascot was, to such a degree that I managed to feel her sexual desire and embarrassment through our synchronization. Naturally, this led to a rather pleasant conversation about our shared sexuality.

Near the end of our conversation, she noticed my use of past tense whenever I would reference my preferences and politely inquired about my phrasing. When I informed her that all biological processes related to sexual desire were removed from my body during my various surgeries, she fell into a pensive silence for the rest of the evening and for the remainder of the following day.

Her silence, as I would come to find out, was as a result of her scheming up a way to restore my body to the state it was in pre-augmentation. And as it turns out, the best way she could think to gain the amount of credits it would require to do such a thing was through a hostile takeover of your mercenary group, the entirety of RaD, and, in fact, the entirety of Overseer itself (yes, we knows about all that now. You left your email open on your personal computer, which she hacked into.)

To that end, she has commandeered both my body and AC, a process I did not and do not fight against as she made some pretty good points honestly, and is approaching your location rapidly.

This will be your and Carla's only warning.

I have been forcing myself to sit down and write at least a few words of fiction every single day for the past week. And when I say forcing, I mean FORCING. It has been a struggle on some – well, most – of these days.

BUT FINALLY! The Glory of the Lord (so to speak) shone down upon me and I heard the voices of the angels and a choir singing and a mysterious someone clapping very hard in the distance while shouting "and THAT'S why you always back the outsider, boys!"

That is to say, I had an idea for a story. And I started writing it. And now I'm on a ROLL and it's so hard to stop and I'm so fond of my characters and let's be honest, plot's always been my weak point BUT I think I'm coming up with a decent plot too! And man it feels great. I've been so out of practice when it comes to writing fiction, but it was just waiting for me to return to it, I guess.

Anyway this story is full of crime and intrigue and villains and faked deaths and good shit like that, and it stars 1) a rebellious princess who rejects her royal upbringing and 2) her upstart butler who can't take social class divisions seriously. And I love them both so much.

Had an odd argument with DH bc he wanted fried potatoes in butter. In butter. Not ghee. We have red potatoes. You see my problem. I explained the smoke point of butter and the high moisture content of red potatoes, and that the butter will burn before the potatoes will brown

for me i view all of the slugcats as ust creatures :) they just be hanging round n stuff. have childnen? no clue how they got there. they just spontaniously multiply i guess. gender? whats that? who needs gender when you can have VIOLENCE? or FOOD? or FAST? or STABBY STAB?

Honestly i think the charm of them is that theyre very intelligent little things no matter how you interpret them which means you can add as much or as little characterization as you want. You can go for simple little creature or beast intelligent enough to have their own micro cultures and such. Very flexible and that makes them fun to work with!

Rewatched The Code again and am further convinced Storm Hawks would've been better having been made for an older audience and with longer episodes.

Dark Ace precision-shot takes down 5 members of a highly trained Sky Knight squadron while they're in the air in under 2 minutes, but then once they're on the ground he can't manage to hit a single fucking person?

Obviously, no one actually gets hurt, like ever, in this show because it's made with a younger audience in mind, but this is a show about a multi-generational war. Dark Ace's entire thing is that he's murdered more Sky Knights than anyone. But because this is a show for a younger audience, this shit is never really addressed.

Like you could completely remove that aspect of Dark Ace's character, and the show wouldn't change at all, because he never actually kills anyone at any point in the show.
