«Hic et nunc» «Qui e ora»

Anche se l’espressione viene generalmente attribuita al poeta Orazio, sarebbe più corretto riconoscere che, in realtà, si tratta di una locuzione di uso comune nella lingua latina, che il poeta utilizzò per alludere a un tema importante della sua poetica: infatti i due termini che la compongono, concettualmente, ricorrono spesso nelle sue opere fondamentali. Nei suoi scritti, «hic et nunc» indica il desiderio di esprimere l’immediatezza di un evento singolare.

Questa poetica è caratterizzata da alcuni tratti fondamentali: - un elemento spaziale, denominato «angulus» e riconducibile all’«hic», ovvero alla dimensione spaziale dell’immediatezza del presente. - un elemento temporale, «nunc», che indica una chiusura protettiva del tempo (in un tempo proprio, interiore) e dal tempo (dal tempo comunemente inteso, che scorre nella sua inesorabilità e che non torna più) e che può essere ricollegato all’altro famoso concetto oraziano del «carpe diem».

Adoro come ultimamente abbiamo scoperto che il participio passato del verbo esigere sia la parola esatto e ciò venga riproposto in ogni gioco di "cultura" in televisione. Il fatto che sia strano è perché siamo abituati ad usare la parola esatto solo come sinonimo di corretto, giusto, accurato. Però in ambito finanziario un pagamento viene esatto = riscosso dall'esattore = colui che riscuote. Esigere viene usato principalmente coi significati di richiedere, pretendere, imporre e nel linguaggio comune l'uso del suo participio è molto raro, è più frequente quello del participio presente (esigente).

The Trump administration will be revoking the legal status of hundreds of thousands of Latin American and Haitian migrants welcomed into the U.S. under a Biden-era sponsorship process, urging them to self-deport or face arrest and removal by deportation agents. The termination of their work permits and deportation protections under an immigration authority known as parole will take effect in late April, 30 days after March 25, according to a notice posted by the federal government. The move will affect immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela who flew to the U.S. under a Biden administration program, known as CHNV, that was designed to reduce illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border by giving would-be migrants legal migration avenues. A total of 532,000 migrants entered the U.S. under that policy, which was paused soon after President Trump took office, though it's unclear how many have been able to secure another status that will allow them to stay in the country legally. CBS News first reported in early February that the Trump administration was planning to revoke the legal status of individuals who entered the U.S. under the CHNV process. The Department of Homeland Security said it will seek the arrest and deportation of those subject to the policy change if they fail to depart the U.S. in the next 30 days. Officials are urging migrants to use the newly repurposed CBP Home smartphone app to register for self-deportation.

Dans son exposé sur la "banalité du mal", Hannah Arendt avance qu'Eichmann n'était pas un "pervers sadique", or cette considération fait référence à une notion encore pré-théorique, une représentation de sens commun où le sadique est quelqu'un qui inflige et jouit des souffrances qu'il fait subir aux autres.

Le sujet de l’inconscient ne saurait se tenir pour quitte des suites involontaires de sa bêtise, de son "je ne veux pas savoir", son "je sais bien mais quand même", ni même son "je ne peux pas savoir"…

L'inconscient cela veut dire: tes intentions mignonnes, tes "idées" derrière lesquelles tu t’abrites, tout cela est un trompe-l'œil, une façade, dit Freud (en français dans le texte). Ce sont les conséquences qui font poids, et dont tu es responsable. Déchiffre ton inconscient — impératif éthique — , car ce que tu n'as pas voulu, ce que tu ne sais pas, sera retenu contre toi. C'est la dure loi de Freud, la terrible lex Freudiana.

French verbs: all about stress

When learning French, I loved the verbs parler ('to talk') and aimer ('to love') because they were entirely regular. A thousand years ago, I wouldn't have been that happy. At that time, parler was irregular too: people said il/ele parole, not il/elle parle. And it wasn't aimer but amer, yet il/ele aime. Many more verbs that are now perfectly regular, used to have two different stems.

These irregularities were due to the regular sound changes that turned Latin into Old French. In Latin, word stress was different in the infinitive than in the third person, as indicated with an underline in the video. This stress difference had consequences for how the vowels developed:

Des années de mystère m'avaient amené à ce seul paragraphe. Un voyage où, à chaque étape du chemin, j'espérais une conclusion, mais j'ai reçu davantage de questions à la place. Cette fois ne faisait pas exception.

Je l'ai répété encore et encore dans mon esprit. C'était enivrant. Ça ressemblait à une incantation pour des esprits puissants, comme écrit dans les livres. Mais les esprits ne sont jamais venus à moi. Même mes rêves avaient commencé à échapper à ma mémoire, comme l'amnésie dans une berceuse.

J'ai appelé Mars Éditions encore et encore, personne ne répondait. Je suis allé au 12 Rue Jacob, mais l'enseigne au néon était éteinte et il n'y avait personne à l'intérieur. J'ai appelé The Library of Babel à Londres où j'ai acquis Nuit Sans Fin, sachant exactement à quoi m'attendre. C'est-à-dire pas de réponse.

Il me semblait que j'étais vraiment seul.

Dès le début, on avait eu l’impression que quelqu’un, ou peut-être l’univers, essayait de parler sans voix. Si j'étais honnête avec moi-même, aussi fou que ça puisse paraître, j'avais l'impression que Leonora elle-même essayait de me dire quelque chose. Chaque fois que j’arrivais dans une impasse, j’avais l’impression de la laisser tomber.

Cette ultime impasse n’a fait qu’intensifier mon intérêt pour cette phrase latine particulière et tout ce qui l’accompagnait. J'ai plongé non seulement dans le monde de l'épopée romaine et de la mythologie celtique, mais aussi dans celui de Leonora et d'autres artistes surréalistes. Livres, expositions, cours du soir, documentaires, tout ce que je pouvais trouver.

Je dois admettre que le rayon de ce nouvel intérêt s'est élargi de jour en jour et j'ai découvert de nouvelles avenues et de nouveaux mystères à explorer. Remedios Varo, Dorothea Tanning, Noëmi Manser, Kati Horna, Hilma af Klint, Julia Soboleva ont tous transformé ma vie en un rêve ambulant et ont ajouté une touche de magie à ma façon de penser et de voir le monde. Comme si mes yeux s'étaient ouverts sur “l'autre Paris”, l'invisible, les passages secrets entre les couches.

Malgré cela, Leonora ne m'a jamais quitté. J'ai une obligation envers elle que je n'ai pas remplie. Je ne sais pas quand, je ne sais pas comment, mais j'espère plus que tout qu'un jour je pourrai répondre à l'appel. Que si je peux enfin être là pour elle. Pour son esprit. Pour jouer mon rôle. Il y a une raison pour laquelle elle m'a trouvé, mais je ne la connais pas encore.

The proposal by the Department of Homeland Security, spelled out in an unpublished notice, would fully terminate a Biden administration program that allowed more than 530,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans to fly to the U.S. if American sponsors agreed to help them financially. 

The Biden administration argued the policy, known as CHNV, discouraged illegal immigration by people from these four Latin American countries by offering them legal means to come to the U.S., but President Trump froze the initiative hours after being inaugurated. Trump officials have specifically argued the program was a misuse of immigration parole, the legal authority which the Biden administration used to admit those under the sponsorship initiative, and to allow them to apply for work permits.

Under the new move, the Trump administration would revoke the parole status of those allowed into the U.S. under theCHNV policy and place them in deportation proceedings if they have failed to apply for, or obtain, another immigration benefit, like asylum, a green card, or Temporary Protected Status, the internal proposal shows. 

It's unclear how many of the over half-million people allowed into the U.S. under this initiative have applied for other immigration programs. When the Trump administration's plan will be finalized also remains unclear.

Those whose parole classification is revoked, and who lack another immigration status, would become ineligible to work in the U.S. lawfully. They would also receive notices to appear in immigration court, the first step in the deportation process, according to the internal documents.

Today we venerate Elevated Ancestor El-Hajj Malik El-Shabaz aka Brother Malcolm "X" Little on his 98th birthday 🎉

A minister, scholar, orator, & legendary Freedom Fighter- who infamously bore the name "X" to signify our self-liberation from the shackles of a European legacy forced upon us during Slavery -, we elevate Brother Malcolm as one of THE most prolific voices of freedom, justice, self-determination, & Pan-Afrikan unity in modern history.

Born into a legacy of freedom fighters, Brother Malcolm was raised on the cusp between Black Nationalism unity & White Supremacist terror. His father was a member of Marcus Garvey’s Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA), in which he served as an orator publicly advocating for Black liberation before his murder.

Though a gifted student, Malcolm dropped out of school when a teacher ridiculed his aspirations to become a lawyer. He later drifted into a life of hustling on the streets of Harlem. He cleverly avoided the draft in WWII by making the outrageous declaration that he'd organize Black soldiers to attack their White counterparts which classified him as "mentally unfit to serve". After his burglary arrest in Boston, Malcolm faced 10 years in prison. Here, he found Islam via the NOI.

Upon his parole release, Malcolm took the name "X" as he began to serve in the NOI as a speaker, organizer, and minister. He quickly grew in his prominence & drew national attention after an expose on the NOI was aired on CBS. Both, Black & White Americans, saw the stark contrast in his/NOI views from that of other Black religious leaders/organizations of the time. Thus planting the first seeds of warped perception & fear.

Meanwhile, Brother Malcolm's personal views & interests slowly began to split from the leaders of the organization he'd come to love. Malcolm grew increasingly frustrated with the NOI's bureaucracy & outright refusal to join the Civil Rights Movement. His forbidden response to the assassination of JFK earned him a 90 suspension from the NOI; at which time he announced his departure from the organization.

In March 1964, he founded the Muslim Mosque, Inc. Three months later, he founded a political group called, the Organization of Afro-American Unity (OAAU). Malcolm firmly placed Black Revolution in a global context of an anti-imperialist struggle here, in Afrika, Latin America, & Asia. This is what set him & his work further apart from any Black leader & organization in the U.S. at the time. And this is what sparked the breadth of his influence & mapped out the future of his work.

Brother Malcolm toured North & East Afrika as well as the Middle East Region in the late Spring of 1964. He met with heads of state from several countries (i.e.: Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria) before making his hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Here, he added "El-Hajj" to his Muslim name, "Malik El-Shabazz". This journey into the Motherland & Self brought Malcolm to the realization that his revolutionary vision/influence superceded any colour line.

Once he returned to the U.S, he infamously declared Pan-African unity amid struggle for freedom “by any means necessary.” This marked a turning point in Malcolm's life & revolutionary fight against White Supremacy on a global scale. He spent 6, albeit unsuccessful, months in Afrika petitioning the U.N. to investigate the Human Rights violations of Black Americans by the U.S. Government. From then on, threats to his safety and that of his family & the OUAA mounted. Still, he continued the fight until his assassination that was ultimately orchestrated & carried out by the CIA.

Those Swedish officers who were willing, Peter enrolled in his own army. Once they had taken the required oath of allegiance, he awarded them the same rank they had held in the Swedish army and gave them command of Russian squadrons, battalions and regiments. None was asked to serve against his own king or compatriots in the Great Northern War. Instead, they were posted to garrisons in the south or east, where they patrolled the frontiers, holding the line against incursions by the Kuban Tatars, the Kazaks and other Asiatic peoples. The rest of the officers were dispersed as internees into all corners of Russia. At first, they were allowed considerable freedom of movement, but some who had been given permission to return on parole to Sweden never came back, and a few who had entered Russian service used their Russian rank to escape. After this abuse of trust, the rest were severly restricted.

As the years passed, these Swedish officers, scattered through all the provinces of the Russian empire, often lived in want, as they had no money. The Swedish common soldiers received small allowances from their government at home, but nothing was sent to the officers. Of the 2,000 officers, only 200 received money from their families; the rest were obliged to learn a trade in order to feed themselves. In time, these former warriors, hitherto knowledgeable only in the art of soldiering, developed an astonishing number of talents. In Siberia alone, a thousand Swedish officers turned themselves into painters, goldsmiths, silversmiths, turners, joiners, tailors, shoemakers, makers of playing cards, snuffboxes and excellent gold and silver, brocade. Others became musicians, innkeepers and one a traveling puppeteer. Some who were unable to learn a trade became woodsmen. Still others set up schools, teaching the children of their fellow prisoners (some had summoned their wives from Sweden to join them; others had married Russian women). These children were better educated than most in Russia, learning mathematics, Latin, Dutch and French as well as Swedish. Soon, Russians in the neighborhood were sending their own children to the foreign schoolmasters. Some of the officers embraced the Russian religion and joined the Orthodox Church, while others held fast to their Protestant religion and built their own churches in the wilderness. Although Siberia generally was a bleak and joyless landscape, the Russian governor, Prince Matthew Gagarin, had a reputation for generosity, and Swedish officers living under his jurisdiction praised his warm and forgiving nature. In time, as the Westernizing of the state administration developed, Peter needed skilled administrators and bureaucrats. A number of former Swedish officers were offered positions and came to St. Petersburg to work in the newly established Colleges (Ministries) of War, the Admiralty, Justice, Finance and Mines.

Importante delle parole è comprenderne e condividerne il SIGNIFICATO (da signum fero: porto un segnale, un emblema). Qui si va a cercare radici e significati autentici, non quelli cangianti della narrativa corrente manipolati dalla neoligua imposta alle masse.

MATRIMONIO: in tempi d'attacco al divorzio a mezzo spot Esselunga (a che livelli sono scesi i sapientoni preoccupatoni), andiamo a Wikipedia refugium ignorantorum standardorum:

Partiamo dall'inizio, senza confutare la Crusca facciamo detonare la bomba: non si scappa dal fatto che in "matrimonio" di SOGGETTI ce n'è SOLO UNO: MATER. Significa che il matrimonio NON è un uomo e 'na donna, tantomeno un dante e un prendente omnigender: "quel che conta è solo l'ammore" c'entra un caxxo (per stare in tema). Il significato (logos: sia parola che concetto) della parola matrimonio parte e finisce con LA MADRE, cioè la donna che porta in sé e mette al mondo un bambino, punto e a capo.

Ciò stabilito e scusate se è poco, veniamo al secondo componente, il "monium". Spoiler: significa l'opposto della vulgata diffusa. Il suffisso indica etimologicamente il compimento di una azione: come in Patrimonio, Testimonio, Mercimonio etc., significa "relativo a", ciò che Pater, Teste, Merce - o MATER - detiene e caratterizza: IL SUO.

Mater Monium quindi è ciò che appartiene a e caratterizza la madre. Conferma che il soggetto del matrimonio è la madre ed è senso sottilmente ma radicalmente opposto a quello di "compito, dovere" inferito ex post perché "je tornava". Al contrario si tratta più di un credito, di una garanzia o come si dice oggi, di un Diritto. Vantato ed esatto - nel senso di "esigiuto" - dalla Mater nei confronti del marito davanti a tutta la comunità, per il fatto stesso di mettere al mondo la prole.

Se ne deduce, sul lato mondano esser corretto che il Matrimonio sia il giornochiubbello suo di lei e basta (acquisisce diritti, potenzialmente); sul piano sostanziale si ricava che un matrimonio senza madre - con Genitori 1 e 2 - è peggio di un ossimoro: è un nonsense, un gioco o una TRUFFA. Trovategli un altro nome: suggerisco amoronio.
