Bashar is an incredible 19 year old young man who spent his time loving life, doing gymnastics & parkour with his beloved friends before the conflict- since then he's been volunteering his time bringing joy & aid to the traumatized children of the refugee camps.

Parkour isn't just a passion or a hobby for me – it's a way of life. It's the rush of adrenaline as I clear obstacles, the thrill of defying gravity, and the sense of freedom that comes with movement. But beyond the physicality, parkour has taught me invaluable life lessons:

Parkour isn't just about movement; it's about embracing uncertainty, Overcoming fear, Cultivating confidence, Finding flow, and Living fully. When I'm moving, I feel most alive. Parkour is my sanctuary, my therapy, and my expression of joy.

That's why I love parkour so much – it's a reflection of my inner self, a celebration of life's beauty, and a reminder that every obstacle is an opportunity to grow.

I've been thinking a lot about sports, exercise, and athleticism lately. And it's really staggering how absolutely unathletic I am for someone who did an assisted front-flip off their bunkbed multiple times a day for 12 or so years.
