The Great Mother has awoken... And she's not happy. According to Nordic myth, this world came into creation by fire and ice. That's exactly how it's going to be going out... if we don't make a change NOW. Say hello to heat waves that kill thousands each year, a rise in sea levels that destroys entire coastlines, drought, scarce food levels, and frigid winters. This is the world we have invited into our reality. And it is worse than that. The @unitednations released the most recent Climate Report, link in the Bio. You all need to read it. It's not a question. This planet is our home. This earth is our mother. She provides for us. She is the ground we walk on. She is where we celebrate and experience life, and it is all being ripped out from under us. That being said, Mother Nature doesn't care whether or not we die. She will kill us if she sees us as a threat to the balance. She encourages creation and life, but when that creation goes sour, it gets to rot. If we continue on the paths we are on currently, we can all kiss our lives goodbye and say hello to the next mass extinction. Now, I don't really want that to happen. I don't want my actions to result in the death of my friends, family, loved ones, brothers and sisters across the world, sacred plant medicines, animals, forests, and coral reefs. I personally would prefer to try my best to prevent that from happening. So, I am still vegan, now living zero waste, and am going to continue to find ways that I can make a positive impact on this horrifying and mostly inevitable situation. Why is it inevitable? Because unless everyone makes a change STARTING NOW, we can kiss our futures goodbye. This may be a lost cause. Who knows. But WHAT IF we all decided to offer our efforts to a better planet for All? WHAT IF we devoted more time to living sustainably and making an impact through the political spectrum? WHAT IF our personal striving created a ripple effect that makes a wave of influence across the world? Bideni määruste pakett - kiire analüüs 

Biden - USA uus president - allkirjastas esimesel tööpäeval rea määruseid, pöörates tagasi rea Trumpi otsuseid (osa neist oli Trump samuti allkirjastanud oma esimesel tööpäeval).

Siin olen edasi jaganud Russia Today artikli Bideni määrustest, sest see oli esimene ingliskeelne artikkel selle kohta, mille internetist leidsin ja mis oli kirjutatud professionaalselt, neutraalselt ega olnud tugevasti kallutatud.

Minu kommentaarid on esialgsed ja hinnangulised, erinevalt RT jagatud artikli fakte edastavast neutraalsest kuivast stiilist. 

Biden peatas Mehhiko müüri ehitamise 

"Trump’s national emergency declaration that allowed for funding to be diverted for the construction of the border wall with Mexico was also among the measures reversed by Biden on his first day... " 

Ma ei usu, et Biden eemaldas finantseeringu sellele projektile eesmärgiga finantseerida seda projekti teistest allikatest. See projekt pannakse seisma. 

USA-le sellest mehest küll midagi head ei tule.

Just praegu liigub kümnetes tuhandetes migrantide kolonn jälle USA piiri poole.

Pikas perspektiivis on illegaalse immigratsiooni hõlbustamine ühes legaalse immigratsiooni hõlbustamisega teatud riikidest, millega USA ise tülitseb, USA jaoks katastroof. Bideni populistlikud otsused aitavad kaasa impeeriumi lagunemisele.

Oli kunagi selline riik nagu Ameerika Ühendriigid. Kas mäletate?

Keskkonnakaitse 

Bideni määrused on USA kohalikele keskkonnakaitsjatele kahtlemata väga head uudised. Muuhulgas peatab ta ühe gaasitoru ehituse. 

Mäletatavasti protesteerivad indiaanlased ja keskkonnakaitsjad ehitatavate gaasitorude (naftatorude) vastu, mis kulgevad indiaani reservaatide läheduses ja looduskaitsealadel. 

Trump oli ju ka looduskaitsealade territooriume kärpinud, nõrgendanud keskkonnakaitsenorme, jne. 

Pariisi Kliimakokkulepe 

Pariisi Lepingu, millega USA nüüd taasühineb, osas pole ma aga kindel. 

Isegi kui see kliima inimküttelise soojenemise teooria paika peab, on veel segane, kas inimese võimuses on seda soojenemist peatada.

Igatahes on see kokkulepe mõttetus, seni kuni Hiina ja India seda väga tõsiselt ei võta. 

Hiina üksinda tossutab palju rohkem kui Venemaa, Euroopa ja USA kokku.

Ent kuna Biden jätkab Trumpi poliitikat Hiinaga tülitseda, siis vaevalt, et Hiina oleks nõus kliimakokkuleppe nimel oma majanduskasvu ja ühes sellega sõjatööstuse arengut aeglustama. 

Samuti ei saa ignoreerida demograafilist faktorit. Me ei saa eeldada, et Hiina ja India oma rahvastikuarvu drastiliselt piiraks. Ja näiteks ühe-lapse-poliitika puhul on Bideni taolised inimõigustest kõnelejad ise esimesed, kes protestima hakkavad. 

Trump püüdis välisriikides vähem sõdida, ta ei alustanud uusi sõdasid. Tema püüdis vähendada USA sõltuvust araabiariikide naftast, tõstes koormust USA omatoodangule, mis oli meelepahaks kohalikele keskkonnakaitsjatele ja indiaanlastele.

Biden püüab kogu maailmas fossiilkütuste kasutamist vähendada. 

Ent roheline revolutsioon pole võimalik ühes planeedi piirkonnas eraldi.

Kokkuvõttes võib kliimakokkuleppega taasühinemist klassifitseerida populismi ja liitlastega heade suhete säilitamise poliitikaks.

Välispoliitika 

Välispoliitika poolest jätkab Biden mitmeid suundi, mida harrastas Trump ja mis tegelikult pole kunagi sõltunud sellest, kes on USA president.

Lääne ajakirjandus muide küll pasundab sellest, et Biden taasühineb Pariisi Kliimakokkuleppega, ent vaikib sellest, et USA endiselt blokeerib ÜRO konventsiooni tuumarelvastuse piiramisest. 

Sisepoliitika 

Mis puutub USA sisepoliitikasse ja immigratsioonipoliitikasse, siis on Bideni määrused USA vältimatu allakäigu algus.

Siin on näha püüdu täita oma lubadusi oma valijatele, valijateks on valitud seksuaalvähemusi, värvilisi, isegi mittekodanikest immigrantidele püütakse meeldida. Samuti on tegemist teatud ideoloogiaga (nagu näiteks kommunistlik ideoloogia), mis ignoreerib elu reaalseid fakte ja takistusi.

Tervitatav on ehk see, et Biden taastab Obama tervishoiusüsteemi.

USA tervishoiu ja sotsiaalhoolekande süsteem on mudakapitalistlik võrreldes Euroopa arenenud kapriikide omaga.

Koroonaviiruse pandeemia ajal on see USA-le tugeva hoobi andnud. Mis aga pandeemiasse puutub, siis nüüd on juba veidi hilja hakata tervishoiusüsteemi remontima.

Tähele tuleb aga panna kahe komponendi koosmõju: Bideni otsused suurendavad märgatavalt illegaalsete immigrantide voogu USA-sse, samas soovib ta tervishoiuteeneid pakkuda kõigile. Ent sedasi saab riigil raha lihtsalt otsa. Bideni populistlikud otsused laastavad riigikassa. 

Pseudovasakpoolsus 

Kuigi konservatiivid sildistavad Bidenit sotsialistiks, ei märganud ma tema määrustes aga mitte midagi (peale Obama tervishoiumääruste taastamise) sellisest vasakpoolsusest, mida esines valimiskampaania ajal Bernie Sandersi kõnedes. Bideni määrustes pole näiteks sõnagi miinimumpalgast, tööliste õigustest ja tagatistest, jne. 

Bideni määrused ei keskendu tööliste kaitsele ekspluateerimise eest, vaid keskenduvad sellele, et valgeid, musti ja värvilisi ekspluateeritaks võrdselt. Seega kui Biden on vasakpoolne, siis on ta pseudovasakpoolne. 

Paraku on see raamatukoi utoopia. Arvestades miljoneid illegaalseid immigrante ja nende arvu peatset jõudsat kasvamist, ei õnnestu riigil mitte kuidagi moodi kahandada salakaubavedu, maksude maksmisest kõrvalehoidmist, orjatööjõu kasutamist, kuritegevust, inimkaubandust, narkoäri, jne. 

Kokkuvõtteks 

Biden elab mitte reaalsuses, vaid roosas mullis. 

Määruste pakett on eklektiline ja vastuoluline, arvestades küll oma valijatele antud lubadustega, mitte aga reaalsusega. 

Oma arvamust Bideni strateegia suhtes olen avaldanud alles pärast tema ametisse astumist sellepärast, et vältida USA valimistesse sekkumise süüdistust.
