Okay Y'ALL I saw Episode 5 today and these are the thoughts I jotted down while watching it (PART 2 OF 2)
Please don’t read below the cut if you are avoiding spoilers until you get to watch it yourself
And FYI some of these may not have any context, but I guess it won’t matter cause you’ll have context in 7ish hours anyway (also sorry about how long all my thoughts and feelings are lol)
Awh Kate you’re so pretty - kinda weird to see her so chill though - she was so stressed all of season 2 that seeing her so serene is throwing me off tbh - I am so happy for you though my love
Also her outfit that looks like a sari is soooo gorgeous I WANTTTT
Love the cinnamon biscuits vs fruit jellies bit
Portia ma'am please listen to Varley FFS
lol I hope they did in fact fuck again like she wanted
Ugly crying at MY MESSSSSS
PARIS? oufff I love how comfortable she is, just casual teasing chit chats with bestie
“Undefended”? Charlotte needs a different hobby pleaseeee
LOLLLLL when did Penelope learn to do her hair and makeup by herself???? Cause there’s no fucking way she would’ve looked THAT fucking good after alllll of that lol
We were going to be KNIGHTS!! OMG sweet babiessss
“as much as I do” I can’t even blame anyone for anything they’ve done or said so far tbh
This is such nuanced writing — I understand exactly where pretty much everyone is coming from and that’s really nice tbh
Omg they really do want Cressida to marry a dinosaur
WTF Cressida you do you girl fuck shit up for Penelope I don’t even care do whatever you have to do and go all out and save yourself cause no one else will I’m so sorry you were ever put in this position
We have been acting uncouth AS OF LATE??? as of late????!? Omggg Portia girl pleaseeeee you had ONE job and you’re just gonna pass the buck to your daughters instead? STAHP own up to your shit cause you knowwww they bully her because youuu bullied her and the gall to say this is just happening LATELY on top lmao
Though like in her eyes I always do see remorse too - I think she just lacks courage to ever really own up to everything in full because she’s just so guarded
Honestly this is such stellar acting
And also like, Penelope, most of you is your mom my girl - your brains, your overthinking, your inability to just say Yuh I done fucked up my bad lol
Greg’s hat
Yesssss lord Kent find you some Bridgerton besties
I actually do love Portia - yeah she’s been a colossal dick of a mom to Pen but as complex women go, I get her - If she makes amends with Pen for them daily microaggressions and general abuse one day, for real for real, she’d be really great
Omg Mama B and Lady D are such big shippers - wish they didn’t fully cut out the Lady D stuff from the books though le sigh
Eloise has a point - I agree - she had lotsss of alone time to say it - I understand Pens fear completely, but she must realize that her saying this is still soooo much better than him having to find out on his own - and there is no way he wouldn't - and he’d be more hurt by that part than the actual LW part I think and honestly Eloise is right about her being involved in that painful deception too, I wouldn’t want my own brother to feel betrayed by me like that either, given how often he wished LW ill out loud - and the longer Pen stays quiet the more guilty Eloise becomes as a sister too - If anything her not immediately snitching makes her moreee team Pen than team Colin - this is still a lowkey loyalty to Pen for sure - I think I may have issued this same ultimatum under these conditions too
Omggg JOHNNNNNN stop he’s having a panic attack why did Fran put him on the spot like thissss????
“As you rightly mocked me last season” lolllll
Awh Colin and the toast
Eloise should nottttt have done her second toast - now THAT part was uncalled for, but I guess they want to keep the stress levels high
Lmao Kate to the rescue
I loveeeee how close they are sitting in public - but like… does nooooo one else see this??? Hips glued together? Hands holding??? Just out in the open?? No one thinks this is insanely intimate for a newly engaged couple of the ton??? Even if it’s a love match? None of the older women are clocking this and saying 1. Sit the fuck apart 2. Did yall fuck already cause yall look like you fucked and we don’t even have a wedding date set yet??? Are you not going to even ask for a special license?? You just want her to pop a baby before she technically should and cause more drama?? Like who is in charge of all these fools?? Mama B what is you doing??? Do you not think Colin is being a nasty girl with his wife-to-be?? lol
Lol Anthony I love you, you competitive lil bitch
Lmaooooo Eloise and Penelope being the smartest bitches of the ton YESSSS
Portia trying to show where Pen's brain comes from lol
Muddy boots panic again
LMFAOOOOOOO Mama B your face is going a mile a minute right now listening to the muddy boots
"I saw straight away" OH MY FROHN you will end me one day
Pen get your shit together pls grab a brown paper bag or smthn
Oooohhhhh fuck I get itttttt
Cressida girl my bad I get ittttttt sooooo much more - I didn’t fully understand her thought process behind what we already knew she was gonna do until just nowwww - they really set it up for her well - girl needed an exit and everyone fully offered her one - I have no issues with this at all tbh
Omg omg this is the most chaotic midnight strike of all time like 6 different things happened at the same time????
Well that was some good old fashioned Bridgerton CHAOS Hope y'all enjoyed it too!!!! LESS THAN 8 HOURS TO GOOOOOOOOOO

Cleaning Out
When my husband was decluttering the basement during the winter he pulled a box out the "closet" under the stairs that had been there for ohgodwhoknowshowlong a while. It had some sewing things in it, including quite a few old patterns and a box of fabric I was given in the 80s by an elderly cousin of my mother's. I appreciated the gift, but didn't know quite what to do with it.
For those with screen readers or who cannot read cursive:
"Dear Angela, At last I'm sending the materials I mentioned. Thought you might want to know the origins. Two pieces of French silk (1.5 yd by 1 yd) Bought in Paris, 1961. Polyester sari (3.5 yds by 1 yd) bought in Nadi, Fiji Islands, 1978. Block print cotton (2 yd by 1 yd) bought in Papeete, Tahiti 1987. Native girls wrap it around their bodies sans pins, etc. as a dress. With your hair and skin, these colors will be becoming. We enjoyed our visit in May. My regards to you, Julia C, and Jan. Love, Mary Catherine."
Other than the cotton print, which I did use to make a very nice skirt, I just didn't know what to do with these. They have been in a box all these years. The pretty aqua print is the sari, the cobalt blue and the questionable blue-yellow-brown print are the silk. It love the idea of them - just don't know how to use them for anything. Which, unfortunately, describes a whole LOT of the things I have inherited from family members. French silk from Paris! So cool! But WHAT do I DO with smallish pieces of very odd and dated patterns?

DCA Info Part 60: Behind the Scenes
🐱 Revisited Duchess
Duchess seems to have gotten a makeover! Duchess was revamped because according to Phoenix, her initial clothing wasn't fitting for the time period of The Aristocats, which takes place in Paris, France during 1910. Duchess now wears a lavender dress worn over what appears to be a white blouse alongside a pair of lavender shoes with bows on them. Duchess accessories with a lavender bonnet with various white ribbons and ruffles alongside dark magenta roses along with a jeweled collar. Another accessory included is a pink fluffy hand fan with a dark magenta gem brooch.
Additionally, on the bottom left is Duchess' family tree, including her three children who are all 6 years old. The children include Marisse (Twisted from Marie), Bertold (Twisted from Berlioz) and Telfor (Twisted from Toulouse).
Some notes from Phoenix include that majority of Duchess's clothing will be based on fashion from the 1900's and that her signature colors are lavender, pink, dark magenta and dark violet.
🍎 The Pommeneige Dorm Dwarves
These little dwarves serve as the maintenance workers of the Pommeneige dorm living quarters. They will find lost objects and keep things neat and tidy for the students. Students repay them by placing sweets, bread or even small clothes for them in the charity basket in the Pommeneige dorm living quarters lobby.
All of the dwarves wear red and pointy hats, making them resemble lawn gnomes. The designs are as follows:
1. Features a large head with a round nose and small tuffs of hair coming out from beneath the hat. His tunic is a turtleneck one which obscures his mouth and he has rather small feet.
2. Features a pointy triangle hat with string and button decorations. He has the same round nose as the first dwarf but has cartoony eyes and a mustache and beard. His tunic appears to be tucked in and he wears pointy shoes.
3. Features a feather pinned to his hat with eyebrows and a rounded beard. He wears large round black boots.
4. Features eyebrows and rectangular eyes as well as a mustache. His tunic's collar covers his face and he wears a large belt and small boots.
✨ The Dorm Fairies Coronation Outfits
During Coronation Ceremonies, the dorm fairies accompany their dorm leader in a ceremonial outfit, likely based on the dorm's aesthetic. The outfits are as follows:
🍎 Applette wears a dress with puff sleeves and various ruffle and pearl details throughout. She accessorizes with an apple shaped crown with rounded arches and a lacy veil.
👠 Bumpkin wears a ruffle caplet and dress with the dress' bustle being tied by flowers. She accessorizes with a ruffle flower, ribbon and crown.
🫖 Sui's teapot appears to feature a large ribbon wrapped around it with the ends tied into the shape of a bow. Sui herself wears a ruffle bonnet with a large bow and a ruffle collar.
😴 Willow wears a dress with the top layer having pointed edges with rose decorations and the second layer being ruffle like in detail. Willow also wears a high collar and a caplet with a bow on it. Willow wears a witch like hat with roses and ribbons.
🐠 Marina wears a dress that makes her resemble a jellyfish with the bottom having pearl strands with a large collar that resembles a shell. She accessorizes with a crown made from shells and pearls and a pearl necklace.
🌹 Rosia wears a collar made of roses and ruffles that resembles the mane of a lion. Her dress features roses and the dress' bottom features ruffles.
🏝 Luna wears a long sleeve top with a sari, harem pants and curled shoes. She has pearls throughout her hair and a flower in her hair.
🐲 Cinder wears a dress with apron like details and collar made from fur. Cinder accessorizes with a fan hairpiece with flowers and various pins.
🍂 Skili wears a long sleeve dress with fringes at the sleeve tips and the dress' bottoms. She also wears a feather hairdress.
🐸 Lillie wears a dress with a flower on the right side of the waist and appears to be attached to leaves. She accessorizes with a rosette hairpiece with a lotus flower and pearl beads. She also wears a pearl necklace.
🎀 Hairstyle Experiments
Some of the hairstyles featured here would carry over to the girls revamped looks.
🌺 Vidya Story Illustrations
These were created when Phoenix wanted to develop individual stories for each character. Above is a development sketch of Vidya dancing with likely a possible suitor while the bottom picture has her tending to parrots.
🍎 Evonie's Personal Quarters Bed
Evonie’s bed in the Pommeneige Dorm.
🥀 Amare Casia, Briar's late mother

Lecoanet Hemant
Sylvie Marot

Saris Tanda-Djarn - OC Intro
Name (full): Saris Amar Tanda-Djarn
Other names: Small Mando ; Sar' (by Din only)
Fandom/Appears In: Star Wars/The Mandalorian, appears in- The Mandalorian and in the last two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett
Age: [same as Din]
Birthdate: N/A
Zodiac Sign: Taurus/Cancer
Personality: short tempered and kinda has anger issues, very protective of her loved ones, hostile and aggressive until she warms up to you (which takes a while), grumpy lil' shit 90% of the time, stubborn af and if you push her she'll push back harder, holds grudges for a long time
Gender ID: Cis Female, She/Her
Sexuality: PanAce
Hair: Sandy Blonde and a little naturally curly, usually in a braid and tucked in her helmet
Eyes: Mix of green and brown
Skin: Kind of a medium tan
Faceclaim: Natalie Paris (maybe, I’m still on the fence about it)
Identifying Features: Lots of battle scars where there are gaps in her armor and superficial ones where she's hit her head inside her helmet, biggest one is the wide and jagged one across her back from a job that went sideways ; a birthmark on her shoulder that looks like a brown stain
Combat skills: combat and battle training- hand to hand combat, blaster training, well versed in multiple kinds of weapons, rising-phoenix training (after the S1 finale) ; very strong so in battle she's usually the tank/powerhouse
Supernatural abilities: None
Disabilities: Not explicit but I accidentally coded her with an anxiety disorder after the events of Season 2 and I like it so I'm gonna leave it that way
History/Background:
Saris comes from a long line of Mandalorians, the Tanda Clan has been in the creed for generations, and she has ten very protective brothers- five older, five younger (five of them are adopted foundlings).
She lived on a fiery volcanic planet in the Mandalore system with her family until she was 10 years old- when her parents trying to defend the village they lived in were killed by force users (unknown if they were Sith, Jedi, or something else). She and her brothers managed to escape to Nevarro, where they met and joined the covert there- which is also where Saris met 10 year old Din. They became friends, and by the time they were 17 and 18 they’d fallen in love. The night before they were to swear into the creed, they promised that they would wait for each other and get married as soon as they were old enough (20 yrs).
For the next few years, they teamed up for most Guild jobs, becoming a team to be reckoned with until they were known in the Bounty Hunting business as a unit and unstoppable team. Then they were married/took on the riddurok and have been a legendary bounty hunting team since.
Relationships: Din Djarn (riddur, love of her life), Grogu Djarn (son, adopted), Danthew "Danny" Djarn (son); Danthew, Alexson, Jakevi, Talecus, Lezson, Maxden, Castor, Aries, Draco, and Gaben Tanda (brothers, four of them adopted Foundlings), Cara Dune (close friend), Greef Karga (friend), Boba Fett (friend and ally), Fennec Shand (friend and ally), Ahsoka Tano (ally), Bo-Katan Kryze (frenemy and sort of ally)
Aliases: Mandalorian, Bounty Hunter, Small Mando
Additional Notes/Facts:
Saris can and will punch a bitch
fuckin jacked under all that armor and the flight suit, girl can and has picked up Din and carried him all by herself (and while she’s in her third trimester too)
her build is short (she only comes up to Din's shoulder) and round but she uses it to her advantage and is very strong. she can carry a lot of weight as has a lot of power behind her hits in battle
Does not like admitting or showing weakness, Din is pretty much the only person she trusts to see her vulnerable
most protective momma bear in the galaxy, she loves her boys and if anyone touches them she will break every bone in their body
Really aggressive and hostile, especially if she can’t predict or trust the situation
in combat Mando is usually the sharpshooter/stealth fighter and she’s the tank
Will fite you and win, would win a fist fight with god
Make no mistake, Din and Saris are equals and an unstoppable team, but they are also their own people and can be their own characters outside of each other
Saris pretends to hate how overprotective her brothers are, but she secretly loves it
She also pretends that Din's over protectiveness while she's pregnant with Danny is annoying, but she secretly thinks he's really cute when he's protective of her
Out of all her brothers her oldest brother Danthew is her favorite
Fanfic: Skyfall (Coming soon to Ao3)

Os vestidos custavam de US$ 120 a US$ 500 e os caftãs e robes de US$ 40 a US$ 300.
Cada metade custava US$ 25.
