It *is* possible to be both a loving parent AND a fulfilled individual. 🤯 It may not be an easy balancing act all the time, but I know from experience that when a parent’s own cup is full, that parent has a lot more to give to the people around him/her/them. So, let’s let go of the idea that people—and *women* especially—should become a martyr to the cause of child-rearing. Let’s let go of the notion that someone has to lose all sense of self the moment they become a parent. ✨ Because it’s YOU—the shiny, excited, fulfilled version of you—that will make the best parent of all. ✨ And, if parenting isn’t in the cards for you, the same holds true: no matter how many directions you’re being pulled in life, try to find time for the pastimes that bring you joy and inspiration. That time well-spent will not only ground you, but also serve everyone in your orbit. ❤️
